Whirlpool does not have a price list of spare-parts of various models of washing machine.They do not have spares inventory at the service center which is probably sub-contracted.Even during AMC, the company does not give prompt service. I am listing below one of the complaint in original.

Hi,

I have been having a problem with my washing machine, and had booked a complaint in March (Complaint number LKO[protected]. Later I lodged another complaint since no one took care of the first one (Number LKO[protected]. Everytime I call up the call center, I am told that the part is not available and that they have no idea when it will come in. I have called up the engineer and he too says the same thing. I have a Home Care plan that was taken on 25th Nov 2008, and will expire soon. I am afraid that if the part comes after the plan expires, I will be asked to pay up.

The call center people dont even know where in Kanpur the service center is in. If they tell me the address maybe I can go and file a complaint.

This issue is getting on to my nerves, and if this time nothing is done, I will go to the Consumer Court.

I am also having problem in my Whirlpool washing machine and the charges told by the technicians is Rs 3800 or more, however he has taken 275/- as visiting charges.I fail to understand how Rs 3800 are required for a product costing only Rs 11000.The service personnel also does nor have a service rate list and spare parts list.

    Dear sir,

    In May 2009, we have bought a Whirlpool's Semi Automatic Washing Machine from M/s. Tirumala Music Centre, Malakpet, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

    On 22.04.2010, we noticed that, water not getting drained out from Dryer Tub.

    Likely, we have reported the problem to M/s. Tirumala Music Centre, Malakpet, Hyderabad on 22.04.2010 who have registered the complaint.

    Subsequently, at 1.07 pm on 23.10.2010, have received an SMS from WOIL stating " " Thanks for registering with Whirlpool. Your Satisfaction Code is : 463 for SR Number HD[protected] to speak to us call on 60008558 or [protected] "

    The said problem was attended by one Mr. Prabhu who has identified a Hair Band objecting the water flow from Drain Tub.

    While using for the first occassion ( on 02.05.2010 ) post above rectification, we noticed, water getting seeped into Wash Tub ( when water selector was directed to Dryer Tub ).

    When tried reaching Whirlpool's Toll Free number, a recorded message suggested to contact between 8 am to 8 pm on working days.

    Likely on 03.05.2010, another complaint was registered vide following details

    Problem Reported : Water Seeping into Wash Tub when water selector was directed to Dryier Tub

    Reported To : [protected]

    Date of Reporting : 03.05.2010

    SMS Received at 6.45 pm stating " Thanks for registering with Whirlpool. Your Satisfaction Code is : 703 for SR Number HD[protected] to speak to us call on 60008558 or [protected] "

    The said problem was attended on 04.05.2010 by one Mr. Reddy ( who visits without informing his time of visit - not provided his contact details even ) who informs my father in law that there is a manufacturing defect and hence the body needs to be replaced. No future course of action advised.


    Having agonised by the way the call was attended by Mr. Reddy and Problem remaining unresolved, had lodged another complaint vide following details

    Date of Reporting : 05.05.2010

    SMS Received at 10.44 am stating " Thanks for registering with Whirlpool. Your Satisfaction Code is : 092 for SR Number HD[protected] to speak to us call on 60008558 or [protected] "

    It is more than 52 hours ( at the time of sending this mail ) that, no one contacted us till this moment.


    In view of all the above, would request you to depute your technician immediately and ensure that the problem is resolved.

      Sub: Complain Regarding Refrigerator out of Order Under Warranty Period.

      Sir/Madam,

      It is stated I purchased a Worlpool Fusion Refrigerator on 1st March 2009 from M/s. Razzle Dazzle Electronic, 15, Vigyan Vihar, Opp. HDFC Bank, Delhi – 110092 vide their Receipt No. 73 Bill No. 3635.

      The same refrigerator became out of order in April after expiry of comprehensive Warranty. But your company keep relationship for life with the 5 (1+4) year Warranty. I registered a complained with your Service Call Centre on 24.04.2010 vide complain Registration No. SR: DL[protected]. Service Engineer visited on 25.4.2010 and told that Core Board will be changed on 28.04.2010. But my refrigerator is not repaired so far.

      I enquired several times from your Service Call Centre regarding the same, but I receive only falls assurance that my refrigerator will be repaired shortly. Every time they told me that part is not available in service centre, as and when part will be available the same will be repaired.

      Here, I would like to know if you are not suppose to provide post sale service then why promise for the same for 5 years warranty. It is requested, kindly look in to the matter for repairing my refrigerator at the earliest. Otherwise you advise what I have to do in this hot summer season.

      Whirlpool India Limited — Service not done with in warranty product

        I paid an advance of Rs 19890/- on 19th April 2010 vide Bill no -T24/22478 for a Whirlpool 1 Ton Split AC.I was assured that it would be delivered within a week.But I am still awaiting the delivery. I called up the shop at JL Nehru Road Kolkata . I have registered a complaint ( no. 53767 dated 1st May 2010). Inspite of all that the product has not reached me yet If at all there was any likelihood of delay , i should have been informed about this at the time of purchase.Same was not done. I feel cheated and harrased.I have a gut feeling that there is an absence of any mechanism which deals with Customer inconveniences.Future retail is a big organisation. In this time of cut throat competetion, for its survival its essential they must look into Customer related problems.

        I request you to take action against all those who are responsible of all the hardships i have faced till now OR Make arrangemnts for the refund of the amount with interest to me after cancellation of the order placed by me.

        Whirlpool 1 Ton Split Ac — Poor service support

        I bought a 1 ton Whirlpool split AC from Viveks at Purasawalkam, Chennai on 17th April 2007(Bill No: [protected]). Even before four months, there is a noise coming from the in-door unit. I was unable to use the AC because of the high pitched noise. So I called up Vivek service centre on 7th July and was informed that it will take 72 hours to attend to my complaint. I was shocked that for a machine that was only 4 months old and well within warranty a customer should wait for such a long time period. Even after 4 days of my complaint they have not attended to the repair which is highly disappointing.

        Hope you will be able to do something about it.

          Whirlpool Refrigerator — malfunctioning fridge

          From November 2 2008 I have been trying to get whirlpool in pune to come look at my fridge. the call center and the service center are a bad joke, i wont waste reader time talking about their inefficiency, rudeness and plain stupidity.
          later, i managed to get hold of the numbers of some engineers in the company, who took forever to figure out the problem. i had to take several days of leave and hang around at home for their visits. finally they took the fridge away, and after a whole month, came back with it saying they just couldnt figure out what was wrong. i am within the warranty, but these people have the temerity to say "oh but you have used the fridge for 5 years, and the warranty is only for the compressor"
          so anyone planning to buy whirlpool, remember this:
          the warranty is not at all of any use
          the company's reps are rude and inefficient
          the engineering department is clueless
          the MD never replies to mails - he coulnt care less

          fellow consumers, surely our hard earned money can be spent on a less arrogant and more efficient company - luckily there are many choices out there

          I bought the exact same model in 2003. It worked for a few years- and then the problems started. Whirlpool is unable to fix the problem and unwilling to do anything to help. I'm tired of calling their customer care and launching complaints. Currently, my refrigerator has not been functioning for the last 6 months. I was forced to buy a replacement.

          I'm very unsatisfied with my Whirlpool refrigerator and will never buy any of their products again. I want to just get rid of my refrigerator which is taking up space in my home and gathering dust.

          I am going to start legal proceeding against Whilrpool.

          I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator and the ice maker went out and was leaking into my dinning area that I hardly use. When I noticed the leak we called the Lowes where we bought it, and they replaced the refrigerator promptly. Then I noticed that my whole dinning room rug was soaking wet. I am awaiting a claims adjuster today, my dinning room wall is wet 6inches high, but the worst may be my wood cabinets, if the wood starts cracking.
          I believe this is a known defect by the Whirlpool company. I do not want another Whirlpool applaince in my home. I have a double oven, a stove top, a dishwasher, and microwave.that are all whirlpool, I wiil not buy another Whirlpool appliance. My home is 13 months old and I'm hoping I do not have to replace a wall in the dinning room and my wood cabinets.
          BE WARE OF THEIR REFIGERATORS!

            Whirlpool service center are very careless and not intrested at all to solve the problem of their product also they don't bother about urgency of the service , i registered my complain (AH[protected] ) regarding problem in compressor in our whirlpool refrigerator in last month , till date service level is not satisfactory even the persons are not able to find the real problem and availability of the person for the service is also big headache which involved rigourous follow up through the call ( Sometimes we have to visit personally at service centres ) and now they are telling story to take refrigerator at workshop for 2 days to repair , ultimately we are fed up and feel that we made very wrong decision that we bought whirlpool refrigerator.

              complain and his behaviour is till now very very BAD JUST LIKE A ...........

              collect Mr.Abhishek and Mr.Somraj's mobile number,
              I have registeres a complaint in call centre . Third time I am making this
              complaint but no resolution has been provided as yet.

              Please look into the matter & resolve as soon as possible. Just Imaging, if
              same situation will be with you...

                I have buy a refrigerator 15th of June 2008 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt. Ltd.(290, G.T. Road, Kazipara More, Howrah - 711102).
                Model of the fridge : Whriopool Mastermind 26 Elite
                At the time of delivery there was a physical damage and they replaced it immediately. But the new one is not working properly at the time when they installed. I requested them for several time for replacement of the same but they did not entertained. It is near about 2 years and company's engineer suppose to come 7 to 8 times for rectification of the same, they rectified but the refrigerator making different different problem from time to time.
                Lastly, I have lodge complaint in the end of Mar'10 regarding the cooling problem, which was in the initial phase. An Engineer came and told there was a major fault. They take it back to their ware house for repair on 10 th April,10 and today is 3rd of May'10 I did not got my refrigerator back as they telling there was a major fault. If rectification takes one month time then every body can imagine how much defective this refrigerator?
                Please help.

                Dear Sirs,
                On[protected] I had purchased a refrigerator Model:310Elite (310CT) through its authorised dealer: M/s. Great Eastern Appliances (P) ltd, 20 Old Court House Street, Kolkata - 700001.Ph[protected]/22318203, vide DHFCH No.0609 dated[protected].

                During Installation i saw the following defects which was complained to both the dealer & manufacturer of the product:
                1. Door is dented.
                2.Water is leaking in the bottom.
                3. No 4-star label is pasted on the refrigerator, which assures the low-power consumption, which I have seen in the display model of showroom.

                The above complaints have been recorded by a letter dated[protected], acknowledged by the dealer on[protected].
                Again the above complaint have been registered by Whirlphool India by Docket Complaint No. KL[protected]. Till now no action have been taken by any authority.

                Thus I request you for registering the complaint and do the needful.

                Whirlpool Refrigerator-Mastermind 30 Dlx Steel — Inferior Quality Product

                Complaint : I purchased this refrigerator on 27/04/2007 since purchase this product is giving me trouble and seven to eight times the companies staff have visited.                 I purchased whirlphool microvave oven of 22liter, convection model fro Maharaja Electronic Raipur(authorized dealer of Whirlphool) on 2.01.2009. Bill no.4826 challen no 4561. Initally it work well but after six month I find a problem in microvave. I filled a complaint to whirlphool customer care throug Maharaja Electronics on 11/07/09. firstly one nontechnical person comes after three of fore day and forward complaint to service center. After that service center did not contact with me for the progress. I repadely contact to service center at raipur and maharaja as well. But nodody is confirming when it will be repair. I a very disappointed with the service of Whirlphool. After 20 days I am not getting any response from that side.I will never suggest anybody to puchase any home appliance from the same company.

                Refrigerator - Twin door - Delight Model - INA[protected] went under out of order on 26.12.2009. complaint lodged on27.12.2009 thro call center . Complaint No.44224.Inspite of my repeated follow up the problem was not rectified by any of your people. I regret very much for giving first choice in selecting your Refrigerator. I will not do such mistakes in future. Customer service is very poor.This equipment was purchased in 2007 and it was working for almost 21/2 years. Now the gas is leaking, I do not understand how the refrigerator can fail within 2 1/2 years. Why i am quoting this, I was having a Allwyn Refrigerator which was working for more than 12 years.                 Whirlpool India — Damaged/Defective fridge delivered

                We have bought a Refrigerator 6th Sense(Working Nonsense) in Jan2010.After a Several Followup the company representative came for Installation. Packings were opened in fridge delivered.Informed the dealer that the pack was open at one side. There were some scratches found and informed the dealer.They have asked us to wait till the company Representative visits for Installation.We have asked the company person to replace the firdge due to visible damages.However, he said that the same will be escalated to his higher ups who will do the needful.There were close to three persons who came asn said the same thing.Till now the Fridge has not been used by us wanting for replacement. We have even asked them to give a written confirmation regarding damages if they cannot replace it.They are scared and when informed them that we would take it to the consumer forum they said the consumer forum do has a lot of similar complaints.We would request you to ne necessiate some actions against the the CO and its callous attitude employees.

The new one is not working properly at the time when they installed. water was dropped for the guscate of the upper compartment & the hinges of lower compartment makes noise. the problame was also noticed by the company's engineer on 10.08.2010. I requested them for several time over phone for replacement of the same and they evertime tales that the machine will be replaced by new one and the approval slip is ready for the replacement, but the model is not available. At present they are not also receiving the mobile calls. how long we have to wait for the same?

                  I have bought your fully automatic washing machine (650H) but no body informed me that I will not get any service from whirlpool. I have bought machine in Jan 2010 and there on the problem start. I need to chase your Engineer and customer service guys for service. Your product is defected and when ever i have called in call centre they assign engineer and your engineer never comes on time and he always has some excuse, it seems that whirlpool is not at all focusing on their customer. All the engineers who have visited my place, has confirmed me about the draining defect.
                  You product and service both are not appropriate and i am not happy at all. I am also working in MNC in a senior position and i have used the almost all the brand but i have never faced such problems..

                  Kindly provide replacement of your product on priority and confirm the same.

                      Stabiliser not working

                      We purchase one voltage stabiliser DURO MAX DX 1404 which was recommended by whirlpool service persons during the July or August' 2008.

                      Now it is not working and unfortunately we could not trace out purchase bill for stabliser.

                        We've bought an air conditioner- Whirpool mastermind aviator 5 star series- the purchase details of which are as follows:
                        Dealer Name - Jaiswal Brothers.
                        Location – Bhawanimandi (Raj.)

                        Pre Purchase Issues-
                        Following are the issues we faced with the dealer-
                        1. We informed the dealer of our choice on 20/3/2010 which happens to be Saturday and we were assured by him that our a/c will be installed on 22/3/2010 i.e. Monday, but he neither installed the unit nor he called and informed.
                        2. We then followed up with the dealer and were assured that the unit will come to him from company’s side on 25/3/2010 i.e. Thursday but the same also didn’t happen.
                        3. Again we are told that delay is due to wrong receipt of consignment from another dealer located in Jaipur to whom our dealer prima facie places the order. He has received all 3-star models instead of 5-star. He then assured us for coming Saturday.
                        4. Again we followed up (i.e. no response from his side till we followed up) and the process continued till the date of invoice.

                        Post purchase Issues:-
                        Following are the issues or problems we faced / facing post purchase of the air con:
                        1. The same very day on which the unit was installed i.e.06/04/2010 water started dripping from the indoor unit during night hours inside the room.
                        2. We’ve posted repeated complaints against the same and even made visits to the dealer’s shop which is some 25 miles from our place but some action was taken only after a good deal of time lag i.e. on 16/04/2010 and the person who showed up, instead of correcting the very problem we were facing compounded our problems by breaking one of the locks with which the unit is tied to frame holding it.
                        3. On 20/04/2010 the compressor or the outdoor unit ran out of the compressed gas and the indoor unit function as good as the fan mounted in the wall.
                        4. On 26/04/2010 the same person turned up who installed the a/c @ our place and told us that there is some leakage in the pipe or the valve that the gas has leaked but he didn’t get the gas refill and assured us that he’ll service the entire unit on Thursday which happens to be today but yet there is no clue of his arrival.

ALSO THE VALVE WHICH HE GOT WTH HIMSELF IS UN PACKED LOOKS OLD AND REUSED.ON ENQUIRING HE TELLS COMPANY SUPPLIES IN THIS CONDITION ONLY.                           Whirlpool Washing Machine T50 — no service

                          The machine is under warranty till June 2009. Many calls were made to the company for rectifying.
                          It is nine months no rep from the company attended to it.
                          3 months back, whirlpool hyderabad rang me and told that they are unable to get the spare part for my
                          washing machine and I could exchange my washing machine with their new model for which
                          they give 25% for my washing machine cost. The machine is not even 3 years old. The comany does
                          not have spares. They advise that I can get the system repaired by any local technician.
                          This is the condition o[censored]SA's No.1 washing machine company. However, I logged a complaint
                          to core.nic.in and will soon be claiming damages.

                            How irresponsible can a system be, Whirlpool customer care is the best example of that. At least you are best at something.

                            I called Whirlpool customer care number[protected] on April 19, 2010 in the morning before 10am and registered a complaint for attending to my Microwave oven of Whirlpool make. The call was courteous and efficient. In the call I was informed that since the oven is about 5 years old, the same is not within warranty and the visit charges for techniccians visit will be Rs. 395.00. I was informed that this charge is valid for month for any problems that may occur. I agreed to this charge. Immediately after the call I received an SMS giving me the complaint No as mentioned in the subject. I was told that within 2 hours the technician will call my phone number[protected]the number that I provided at the time of registering my complaint). This is where our problem started, and here we go:

                            1. Nobody called us ever since last 9 days from Whirlpool.

                            2. Technician named Vijay came on April 21 afternoon around 3pm. We informed him about the problem (exactly as we had explained 2 days back while registering the call). He looked at the oven, switched it on-off many time and concluded there was a diode that needed replacement. He informed that he is not carrying this diode with him and will come back tomorrow (April 22) and fix the problem. He informed that the cost of this diode is about Rs. 200. We agreed for this cost and he confirmed it will take a few minutes to solve this problem.

                            Since April 21 afternoon, we have note received any communication from anyone from Whirlpool about this complaint. I called Whirlpool customer care number[protected] many times to chack about the action and every time we received the reply that within 2 hours someone will call back.

                            On April 25, I then talked to Amit (who identified himself as senior engineer) who informed that he has escalated the complaint to the head-office and definitely within 2 hours someone will call back. Nobody has called yet.

                            I kept calling again and got same reposnse. On April 27, morning I again called 60008558 and when I asked to talk to someone senior, I was given the mobile number of Mr. Prakash Kumar, Area Manager for Faridabad ([protected]) was asked to talk to him directly. I asked them to connect me with with him on conference call but they said they cannot. I called this number and talked to Prakash and asked him the status of our complaint (gave him the complaint number). He was not aware of this problem. He asked me whether someone had visited us in last 9 days from Whirlpool. Obviously, he was not having any information about our complaint.

                            INteresting again: he also confirmed to me that he will ensure someone will call me in 2 hours. I insisted that I would like to talk to the engineer who had visited us and he gave me mobile number of his technician Praveen ([protected]) who as per him was responsible for this complaint. After my insisting I asked him to hold on the call until I get Praveen on conference. When we got Praveen on conference Praveen mentioned he was not aware of this case. Obviously there is no system existant with the Area Manager to know who is responsible for what.

                            Praksh then gave me another number of Vijay ([protected]) and when he came on line, I asked him why he did not come to repair the machine after he had promised to come back on April 22, he mentioned that the part was not available and he will ensure the problem is solved in next two days. The two hours and two days seems to be a standard slogan in Whirlpool customer care. I asked him why did he not call me to inform that he will take more time, he had no answer, but Prakash (being senior and presumably smarter or trying to be) instead of questioning his engineer for not doing his job well, came up with a beautiful excuse. He asked his technician how old was the machine and both of them concluded the oven was 12 years old. Accordingly, Prakash smartly informed me that we can repair the problem only if the part is available and he instructed his technician to check for the part and call me later to tell me that the part is not available. I asked Vijay to tell me the part number of the part that has to be replaced. He was not in a position to tell me. Obviously, because when he visited to check the oven on April 21 he did not make any notes, nor did he note the machine number etc. I can say this because he checked the oven in my presence.

                            I want this message to reach the head of customer support of Whirlpool India and I need a response immediately from someone of highest authority in your organization in India.

                            Is this the way you harass your customers. I will be initiating proceedings against Whirlpool in the Consumer Forum if this problemis not solved by April 28 morning and if I do not receive a response from Whirlpool India head on how you will ensure this kind of problem is not repeated again from hereafter with any other customer of Whirlpool.

                              We bought a 1.5 tonne Mastermind Aviator (Whirlpool) Air conditioner from Bajaj Electronics. MPM mall, Abids. While we went to buy actualy LG airconditioner, this model was recommended by the shop keeper and it is calimed to have more cooling capacity than LG in the same category. AC was delivered and installed within 2 days. But to the disappointment of my whole family, the cooling was not effective at all. You feel in AC room only when you stand right below the blower that to after one hour of running. Sometimes when the AC starts, it ejects hot air which I have not expereinced in any ac so far. When you operate the ac on energy save or in sleep mode, room becomes moisturous and you start sweating. Even after repeated compliants nothing has been done so far. I sunk my hard earned money in taking wrong decision to buy whirlpool.

But they are fooling us by saying that they will come today surely . This has been happening for 1 month now. We have given them endless call in order to seek their help but we have got only false assurances. We are hostel residents and the water quality of supply water is not good here. As a result many students have fallen ill due to infection caused by impure water .

                                Sir i want to u to take this matter seriously as these companies just manufacture defective goods and they are thus not eligible to be able to ply in the market. So there should strict inspections of goods of these companies by Bureau Of Indian Standards so that they are not able to fool the customers.

                                Sir Plz do something in this regard.

                                  We have a whirlpool Fridge which had cooling problem. A complaint was registered on Apr 10. Today is Apr 26. First time they attended and suugested the gast to be filled. It was done and Rs 2300 was paid. Still we had the same problems. Technicians have come more than 5 times after that. Still we have the same issue. No one follows up to if the issue is solved. The customer care service is too bad. I strognly suggest not to go for Whirlpool products out of my own exeprience.

                                  Whirlpool Refrigerator — NO COOLING AND NO SPARES

                                  I have purchased a Whirlpool Sumo Refrigerator bearing serial no: 2BR30054N. It went out of order on 26th November 2008 and I have registered a complaint at your Chennai call centre on 26th itself. As givem by them, my ID no: is 2536619 and complaint no: is C.[protected].

                                  Inspite of my regular follow up with your nominated service people, who said they are helpless for want of spares such as capacitor, relay etc from your cochin office. I have contacted Mr Dhinu, ( could not get Mr Mahesh) who told me that the spares are out of stock and will try to get it from Haryana within a week.

                                  Myself and my family blame ourselves for the trust we had in your esteemed organization and its image for this inordinate delay in your maintenance services. How sad we are for the last few days with your company who still ask us to continue to suffer for a minimum of one more week.

                                  Whirlpool — cooling problem

                                  Respected Sir / Madam

                                  This is to put into your notice that I have purchased a refrigerator 'Ice Magic 220lt' with a 6th sense technology and purchased from Jamshedpur on 26th December 2004 . The same is under 7yr warranty. We are facing cooling problem since last 25 days. A numbers of complaints has been made against the same. Your engineers came and scrutinize it as a PCB problem.
                                  Now from last 3 week I am calling continuously & requesting your people to take some permanent action on the same, but we are not getting any positive response, rather they are only giving us excuses like: parts are not available and just refusing it.
                                  I request you to please take some action on this on urgent basis & replace the same if there is no cure to the present problem as the refrigerator is still under warranty period,
                                  I look forward for your support, failing which I would be forced to launch a case in consumer court against your company.

                                  The refrigerator that I had bought was a damanged one. A complaint was registered, Complain no: KL[protected] against the same against which went unheard of. After numerous follow ups and confrontations another refrigerator was sent which was again found defective but was running. Now this had also stopped functioning altogether.                                   Buying a Whirlpool refrigerator has turned out to be a bitter experience and a harassament from all fronts.

                                    I purchased Home Care Plan for the washing machine for maintenance contract on 28-Feb-2006.The details are

                                    1. Plancode: 1023216 for 36 months from 24-Feb-08.

                                    2. Appliance details

                                    c. Date of purchase: 23-Feb-06.

                                    Since I have purchased washing machine worst service has been provided every time.
                                    The problem with machine is
                                    1) Water doesn’t retain in the washing tub and it gets drained of its own.
                                    2) I have been asking for lint filter for last one and half year and I am not able to get one. For this I faced problem in year 2007 and when finally when I lodged complain on email to company then I could get it. If the quality of Lint filter is so poor then why it is not readily available in service center in sufficient number.
                                    In brief this is how I am struggling to get the service for which I have paid in advance. The toll free customer care No. provided in company current web site is useless because it cant be contacted anytime. From Dhanbad by dialing std No. of Dhanbad then No.60008558, the number doesn’t exist. So I contacted 033 Code at Kolkata. There complain has been taken many times manually before 16-Apr-10 but no action was taken. Then some No. for Meerut was given from Kolkata. That No. didn’t exist. Again I contacted Kolkata. Then[protected] number was given. I contacted on this No. and above mentioned complaint No. was given on 16-Apr-2010. Then I contacted many times on this No. and every time false assurance was given to me that technician will be attending. I have been waiting for technician leaving my essential job. Lastly they gave me some No. of Patna [protected]. Person on this No. is irresponsible and least bothered to attend complain. They can only keep me waiting listening to their boring music and wasting my money on call.
                                    I think I will not be able to use the washing machine further. Lastly as I have been harassed so much that I am lodging complain.
                                    Surprisingly when I was drafting this letter two technician came at 6:55 PM 24- Apr-2010 and saw the machine. But again it was useless. They have just noted the problem and did nothing. For lint filter they told that they will not be able to provide it and machine can run without it without any harm.
                                    Sir, it is requested to help me out in getting justice.

                                      Hi,

                                      I had purchased a Magi Cool Air Conditioner on 17/05/2007, from Bajaj Electronics, Panjagutta, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

                                      Within two years of purchase, I had to change its remote control and Voltage Stabiliser. Now, the compressor has stopped working.

                                      I have made several complaints to the dealer and the Customer Care, but it is ineffective.

                                      Earlier, on booking the complaint, the Whirlpool customer care has sent Unqualified Technicians from Lakshmi Ganpathi Refrigeration, Seetaphalmandi, Secunderabad. The technicians took the AC and retained it for 8 days. However, they did not rectify the probem and replaced the capacitor instead. They charged me Rs 1200 for the capacitor. Before this, I have paid Rs. 400 as complaint charges and Rs. 200 for the technician's conveyance. The Stabliser and remote cost me Rs. 4500.

                                      I have also tried to call the service engineer in this area, but it is of no use. The customer care is useless, and I have to repeat my story N number of times to them. I tried to speak to their supervisor, but again there was no reply.

                                      I am very much disgusted with the customer service and am repenting on the purchase of this Whirlpool AC. My AC is still under the warranty period. Henceforth, I shall have to think twice before buying any Whirlpool product.
