My fridge had stopped defrosting and it was only cooling resulting in excessive ice inside blocking the flow of air and nearly nil cooling in the main fridge. I lodged a complaint on 5 Jan 10 vide complaint no LKO[protected]. The technician reported the next day. After examining the fridge he said that the timer needs to be changed which he did the next day. After two hours of his leaving the fridge stopped. Next day he changed the bio meter and and gave me the bill for Rs 946/- which iI paid and on his assurance gave him satisfaction no. also. After few hours it again stopped defrosting. I informed the technician as well as the service centre but nobody turned up for the whole day I then lodged second complaint on 9 Jan 10 No. LKO[protected] and the third complaint on 14 Jan10 No LKO[protected] and again spoke to vipul of help line on18Jan10.
The fride was finally taken to the workshop, repaired and returned after 8 days with a verbal demand for Rs17,500/- over and above Rs 946/- already paid on 8Jan10. After insisting the technician himself wrote a cash memo today ie 04Feb10 Charging Rs1100/- heating element,Rs350/- for thermol fuse,Rs 111/- service chargesand Rs150/- for cartage Total Rs 1,711/- plus Rs946/-paid few days earlier.
The local service centre at Rajajipuram, Lucknow has caused me great inconvenience, harrassment and forced me to pay highly inflated amount for a minor corrction. They have charged me Rs 420/- for the timer, Rs250/- for biometer and Rs 276/- for the service charges beside heating element and thermol fuse. I am not at all satisfied with the repair services by the service centre. I feel cheated and harrassed by them.

Whirlpool sensation Washing Machine — Whirlpool Sensation full of problems
Hi,I have a very pathetic experience with whirl pool top loading new sensation Washing MAchine.
My parents gifted it for diwali in the nov 2007.I hardly used 6 times.Some DE error came.Techinician replaced some board.It was very pathetic to see that water was leaking from below after replacement.
one guy named himself senior TEchinician and said door sensor was not working.they were not able to fix it, They said they will visit in again 10 days.It has been 5 months..no one visited.I end calling whirlpool customer care Hyderabad almost eery day .it is really irritating and I am totally Frustrated, now a days, the phone line seens engagaged all the time.
My parents spent a lot in buying this gift for me.but, it is not worth!!!
Hope Authorities will take up this situation seriously.
BEWARE :Please avoid buying Whirlpool products!!!
