Dear Sir/Madam,

We own a double door WHIRLPOOL 350 Icemagic Elite FF FRIDGE, chassis number B882265F/42R01. which is covered under AMC Sec J-SYM NF27-ELITE-72M Plan code no 1019607, starting on 24/12/2004 ending on 11/07/2010.

Our refrigertor stopped working on 10th July 2009 after several complaints (KL[protected]) it was attended only on 11/07/2009.We were told that the fridge cannot be repaired at home and has to be repaire at the companies designated workshop only.

Again after several complaints (KL[protected] it was taken from our home to the workshop on 18/07/2009. Unfortunetly the refrigerator has not been repaired and delivered till today.Due to the delay of the repair and delivery of the fridge our family has started facing health problems.Under such circumstances we are compelled to seek Redressal at the Designated CONSUMER FORUM.
So we request you to direct the WHIRLPOOL Company to either repair and deliver our refrigerator at the earliest or replace the refrigerator in case it cannot be repaired.

    I have 6 year old Whirlpool fridge, on 28.07.2009 i have been facing cooling problem in it, I was registered a complaint on helpline 60008558, next day whirlpool engineer visited at my home #323/15 panchkula, Haryana. He said that some pipe jaam problem in it & suggested to keep it in sunlight & it will get OK. he charged 285 rupees for it. We were done the same as suggested but problem has not been solved. We registered a complaint again on 03.08.2009 this time they said that fridge need to be taken at workshop, at last after one day their engineer came to home on 04.08.2009 & picked up the fridge, next day no any communication received from that side, on 06.08.2009 i personally visited to their workshop they charged 500 + 250 = 750 rupees, they said that no part changed only service has been done. at evening fridge has been dispatched at my home. Now from next day of above repair I am again facing same problem in it, when i call to workshop they said that they will visit on Monday & not sure that fridge will get repaired.
    This is really very very bad experience with whirlpool services, 1035 rs. Has already been spent on fridge but problem still not resolved.

      Dear Concern,

      This is Manikandarajan from Trichy, I was Purchased the above mentioned product on 01.06.2008 from BIGBAZAAR, chennai. (Previously I Stayed @ Chennai). Last february 2009 my machine was not functioned. I placed a complaint to WHIRLPOOL cust. care. WHIRLPOOL Engineer came to my place, tested and told me that due to manufacturig defect compressor damaged and they changed the compressor on the same month. But, after 1 month same problem occured, once again WHIRLPOOL Engineer came to my place, tested and told me that due to manufacturig defect compressor damaged and they changed the compressor on the same month. Within 3 days same problem occured, once again WHIRLPOOL Engineer came to my place, tested and told me that due to mis-installation compressor taken over volt and damaged my WHIRLPOOL Stabilizer also they promised me to change Compressor and stabilizer but till now they never turn up. Many time I have spoken to Chennai Cust. care office no:[protected]. The executives, Karthik, Mani, Pradeesh, giri and other executives were cheated me like any thing... I never ever hear the worst service from any company like this...

        On 06/08/09 the refrigerator stopped working suddenly. Voltage stabiliser of DUROMAX as recommended by Whirlpool was being used with the refrigerator . There was no voltage problem also. Light in the lower chamber is glowing. LED display at the top of the fridge is not working.Compressor is not starting.         Dear Sonia,

        I have registered a complaint (DL [protected]) on dated4th August09 . the complaint rectified on 8th august 09. now after one month i have same problem.than call to service engg. ph. [protected]. he say that re-complaint. than after your discussion i have registered new comp. DL[protected]. they promises that within 2 hrs. any service person contact me. but there are no reply today.

          Hello Sir,

          I going through tough period last 12 days as my refrigrator is not working. I called Whirpool Customer care Centre(Pune) but still not any progress from there side.Now for me it has become matter of concern as the service provided by Whirlpool is not upto the mark.I don't how much time they will take to fix the problem of Compressor?, which is in still Warranty Period.So i Kindly request you to look in the matter seriously.I have think a lot for next time to buy Whirpool Products...

            I had purchased a whirpool refrigerator in 2004 which had a compressor warranty of 6 years. The compressor was making uneven knocking against which I registered acomplaint with their call centre on 25.07.09. Next day the technician arrived and told me that compressor is to be replaced which will be replaced tommorow i.e. on 26.07.09. Till evening on 26.07.09 when no body turned up, I again called up the call center and told them no body came to replace the compressor. From there, I got an amazing reply that all of their technicians have gone on training, hence the compressor will be replaced after two days. I told them that I have a small school going child who is to be given milk every day before school and myself is a working woman and had to prepare food in the morning for my husband and son and is to be kept in refrigerator for us to eat in the afternoon. As such, We are feeling a lot of inconvenience everyday. After facing a lot of inconvenience for 6 days and regular chasing at call centre as well as service centre at Bhopal the compressor was replaced on 30.07.09. Strictest action should be taken agaiagainst the company which gave us a lot of mental & physical tension and inconvenience and expenditure incurred on phone calls. A compensation of Rs. 1, 00, 000/- to be paid to us.

            whirlpoor refrigerator — compressor breakdown

            Whirlpool has worst customer care and almost all customer care people are negative thinking. Company does not provide any direct number for speeding up of the maintenance work. I think even Top Management is sleeping on these issues.

            Dear Sir,

            I have purchased double door refrigerator from Whirlpool, last year there was a cooling problem for which the service centre person have come and filled in the Gas. This year also the same problem started, the service centre person from Hyderabad have come and filled in the gas, but there was no improvement. Now since 20 to 25 days I am behind your customer care for dooing the needful, who are always dodging, they are sending some person who is checking and giving some excuse and going away.

            Finally they have told that since the refrigerator is under waranty period the compressor will be changed and there is some oil formation in the pipe line which needs to be cleaned. But this also they have told some 4 to 5 days back but till date they have not turned up. I have almost spend more than Rs.400 on STD to your customer care centre at Chennai. Hyderabad service centre does not pick up the phone atall.

            I have been charged Rs.280 against the RT No. 368 dated 11.4.10 and Rs.1350 against the Rt. No.518 dated 12.4.10. My complaind No. is 09601 and 15578 lodged with Customer care No.[protected].

            The movement we call they start telling the entire history of my address and problem relating to my refrigerator and promise it will be done today but that today has not come till date.

            This is very ridaculous to trouble the customer. I you do not have proper maintenance set up why do you claim to be the best. My ultimate step is you are forcing me to go to consumer court and give a customer complaint in all the leading new paper about how the whirlpool are dealing with the customer and how best they give the service.

            Also provide me the contact number of the senior executive to whom I shall contact in case of service is required.

            Please look into the matter and revert back to me by why the problem will be attended.

            This is to inform that today morning one Mr Ravi Telephone No.[protected] have rang up and told that he is coming to replace the Compressor and do other repair work, but he was not knowing about the warranty of the compressor. It is not known whether the complete details and instruction are given to the engineer or not, other wise why he should ask this question to the customer. My compressor is under special warranty and your Madras Customer Care have already informed me and instructed the Hyderabad Customer Care M/S Sheethal Electronics to replace the compressor and do the other repair jobs. Still they have charged Rs.1350 and Rs.280 from me. How long this will go on.

            Please give me the feed back by when you will comply with the complaints and also provide me the telephone No and mail ID of your Senior Marketing persons.

              I bought Whirlpool double door 265 ltrs refrigerator on 3rd May'09 from Croma (chain of stores of electronics by Tata's) and at the time of purchase was told by the salesman that this particular model does'nt require any stabilizer for voltage fluctuation as it is inbuilt and there was a proper sticker pasted on front door of refrigerator, so i bought the same.
              To my surprise when the refrigerator arrived at my place there was no such sticker on that, when inquired the same from technician of whirlpool(who came for demo) he told that whirlpool has stopped pasting such stickers on refrigerators as they were facing problem and the refrigerator which i saw in croma must be an older model carrying the sticker, he also suggested me to buy a stabilizer for refrigerator(costing Rs 1500).
              It is highly unethical on part of Croma that they provided wrong information to customer leading to not only financial loss but harm to the appliance also, as my refrigerator is making loud noises just after 3 months of purchase.Croma staff neither told us that it is an older model and new model doesnt carry such option/facility nor provided us requisite information.if they are selling a product of particular company they should possess adequate knowledge of same.

              What a horrible experince from buying an appliance from a reputed electronic store.
              Nobdy should go and buy from CROMA.

                1.5 Ton Split A/c - Elite Poor Support

                I have Purchased 1.5 split a/c - Elite(WASR18K30) vide bill no [protected] at vasanth & co porur. since the remote was not working after several follow up after two month i got replacement serial no HRBOTHA0173. Replacement document no. [protected] dated 1615109.While repleacement new remote not given used old remote given.

                Immediately after installtion water started pouring from the indoor unit. Again called the service people and checked it.

                Now again water is drippin in the indoor unit. And cooling also not good even setting is made 18 degrees after night long run too it hardly reaches 27 degree.

                Sick and tierd in following up this peoples.

                Whirlpool - A/C — Terrible After Sales service

                I had bought a Whirlpool A/C two years back. This Friday night, it stopped cooling. On complaining, an engineer came and checked it up on Saturday evening. He told it is a problem with the compressor, needs to be taken back. I insisted him to take it back on Saturday itself - he spoke to his team and then said we will, try, else Monday pucca...

                Today morning I checked with them. Monday morning being working for both me and my wife, I fixed up an appointment with them for 230PM pickup. I came home from office, post lunch taking half a day off for this and waited. I called the customer cell atleast 8 times between 3 PM and 7PM. I was always told one thing - pickup reaching in 30 min max. Those 30min are not over till now. I am still waiting. No person had the courtesy to call up and check.

                And sleeping in the heat of Chennai is a pain without A/C. This is the worst kind of after sales service response. urging anyone reading this, never to buy a Whirlpool product again. It is THE WORST on after sales response...

                  I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (310 Dlx Tatanium) from Dass Electric Trading co.(P) Ltd, wanowrie branch pune on dated 1st October 2008 .
                  From the day one of delivery, I am getting I am having water drain problem lower door of this refrigeratorand many other not correctable problems and I complained to DASS as well as whirlpool customer care support B 510017.
                  After a day whirlpool engineer visited to my place and he himself witnessed the problem observed the and concluded with the fact that it is manufacturing defects.

                  After that i approached to DASS with this problem and had spoken to its Manager named Kanchan and Shradha. And she couldnot do but only could convince me to wait until they could send their senior engineer/managers. to investigate this problem but again he even could not find out any solution to this problem.
                  Finally I again requested to DASS Manager, as well Whirlpool service centre senior engineer name
                  I am continuously calling to whirlpool call center and there some senior lady named
                  Basically they all know very well this is defective piece and sold this out to customer anyhow, which they did and now they are trying to mesmerize me .

                  I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me justice.

                  I would not be satisfied until and unless they don’t give me replacements and if this not done within a week I will copy and file my grievances to CONSUMER COURT as well as telecast this to CNBC Awaaz channel but i wont let them to escape up to my last RIGHTS.

                  I am getting problem with the alarm facility as they mentioned in the booklet and also they convience me at the shop also saying that this facility is there, after bying this I found is not alarming and now I am also suffering to solve this problen I complained to Radhika Sales Corporation as well as whirlpool customer care support

                    I had registered a complaint on 8.07.2009 at the Delhi Call Centre of Whirlpool India regarding cooling not proper and eatables getting spoilt in my Whirlpool Refrigerator. I was told by the Service Engineer that a part needs to be replaced which was at that time not available at the delhi service centre and required to be shipped from Pondicherry. I waited for couple of days and then started calling the Delhi Call Centre for updates. It's been more than 15 days now since the Service Engineer had visited and uptil now my complaint is unattended and i have not been made aware of the current status, despite my numerous calls made at the Delhi Call Centre on daily basis.

                      Sub: Complaint regarding the replacement of an adopter



                      Sir,
                      I would like to draw your kind attention that I am furnishing below. Please be informed that I have been a satisfied customer of Whirlpool for a long time. I registered a complaint in your office regarding the replacement of an adapter which is connected to the water tap, through your tall free number[protected]. We have received the service of your service engineers with in twenty four hours, and it is supposed to be a welcoming service. But its very regret to inform you that they have charged Rs. 280 just for connecting the above, please keep this in mind that its material cost is only 150. At the same time they didn’t mention any thing about the charges they are going to collect for their service during our telephone conversation. We could buy an adopter from out and I can fit it myself if they could do so.

                      We sought the help of your service engineers only by believing your companies good will. But now we feel that your company has neatly cheated me by collecting unfair
                      charges. So I would appreciate you if you could take action against this sort of iniquitous practices and ensure reasonable services for your loyal customers.

                        Respected Sir,

                        We bought a Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine in the month of April 2009 probably two months the latest model of whirlpool fully automatic washing machine. In the mid of july 2009 the machine was not working so lodged a complaint in the customer care but i haven't heard from them till now which is almost the start of Aug 2009. The sent a service engineer after two days of calling the customer care and they said some part had to be replaced. And currently for almost 3 weeks they say the same story that "the Spare part is not available"
                        If the parts for the latest model itself is not available for more than three weeks Will whirpool care or bother for the machine which would be under warantee period but a year old???????...
                        Its very pathetic situation for end user to keep calling the customer care and talk to an agent who is just the human version of an IVR. Because i don't think they will even lodge a complaint in what they call as CUSTOMER CARE coz they dont even bother to listen what the customer says but keep on telling that a service engineer would come ??? ...Just to finish off their business as soon as possible and giving false commitments.
                        Even the branch manager also does not seem to have a proper commitment .

                        I lodged a complaint about my Whirlpool washing machine not working (Complaint number PN[protected]) The technician keeps telling me about unavailability of a part which need to come from the company. The company's manufacturing unit is located in the same city where I am (Pune). But the part has not reached me yet. It is been three days now.

                        When I called the customer care again, they told me that it will take 2 more days to resolve the issue. This is so pathetic when the competitors can do it in 24 hours, why does Whirlpool not provide a similar service.

                        There are many complaints on various websites about customers being taken for a ride by the service personnel of Whirlpool. On dead machines, usual observation is that the service person will say- PCB is burnt! This they may do even without opening the machine. Mostly they charge in the range of Rs. 3000 to 3500. Mostly they also offer a bargain of Rs. 500 if we return the faulty PCB to them. Now my bitter experience is I spent such money twice. Now I know that you can save this expenditure, if you are little tech savvy and careful (you will need only one Philips screwdriver). Actually the machines are very good and there is a safety fuse inside the top cover which usually blows and the machine is protected. The fuse may blow because of overload on account of some buttons, hooks, coins, metal parts from our cloths getting stuck around the rotor. For F65 washing machine (should be similar on other models also), disconnect the power supply cord, remove the water inlet pipe, open the hood from the back side (2 screws). Lift the hood by pulling towards front. Recline the hood against a wall standing vertical. On the bottom right hand side, you will notice small white coloured cap. Open it by turning counterclockwise. Inside is a fuse that might have blown away. Replace the fuse of same rating and close the machine in exactly reverse way. It should work, mostly.
                        If you can not do any of these things, just monitor the repair person closely while he is working and ask him to show you the fuse. Most likely the fuse is blown. If you are not vigilant, you may be stripped of Rs. 3500/- when the actual fuse costs Rs. 10/-.
                        I own a whirlpool splash washing machine... It is frequently showing various complaints. Firstly motor for draining water gone. I got it replaced for about Rs 1000/- including service charge. Then the board gone two times even though i use a stabilizer for washing machine. I spent Rs 7500/- for that. What shall i do for preventing such board complaint. We have a reliable power supply and we are not overloading the product.I surfed through the some blogs and found the same complaint for this model.
                        Please tell me a solution for this problem I don't want to replace another board. I will replace with some other brand machine..

                        I own a whirlpool splash washing machine since 23-Aug-2010. On 14-Dec-2012(just within 4 months of expiry of warranty) it had the PCB burnt. Need to mention, the service engineer came the very same day and replaced the PCB. I lost Rs. 3200 for part and service. The is no voltage fluctuation in my area and is evident from the reports from my fellow customers that it is the manufacturing/design defect of whirlpool that caused the fault.


                        I have used TVS-whirlpool fully automatic washing machine for more than 15 years and only once we had to replace the PCB, that too after 12 years of ownership. That was the confidence I had in buying whirlpool model.

                        Since PCB fault happened within a very short period and is a common issue, I am forced to advocate against whirlpool washing machine. Kindly rise up to the occasion and refund the money to keep up the goodwill of your company, or else you may soon find it along the cheap brands in the country.

                        Whirlpool fully automatic washing machine is really a very poor product- even after using a stabilizer with in three years the puc board was replaced three times.I will never purchase a whirlpool product again and will never recommend.the board cost was Rs.3500 .really pathetic & costly

                          I had bought a whirpool AC few years back with their Home Care Plan. The knobs on the AC got broken in the first year of operation itself. I have repeatedly complained to the company to no avail. Problem still continues and their is no response.

                          Latest I filed or tried to file, a complained on July 23, 2009 at their complaint number for Delhi and had some very disgusting experience.

                          1. Was told the complaint is logged in and no number was given.
                          2. On insisting for a number was told that system is under maintenance (this is their standard response on asking for a number ALWAYS). doesnt do much justice to their own IT department or the ERM vendor - SAP or Oracle or Siebel (whoever it is).
                          3. On asking for resolution time was told 24 hours. On asking for clarification was said it is not elapsed 24 hours BUT 24 working hours - which translates to three working days.
                          4. Today on July 28 (after another reminder to them yesterday), I am again being promised someone will CALL ME !!! (we are still not looking at a resolution but at a CONTACT).

                          Even if one were to buy a whirpool product by accident or compulsion, please stay away from the Home Care Plan. They promise the moon and deliver nothing. In the three years of my contract they were to do three onsite maintenance - I am still waiting for the first one.

                          Their engineers (when they turn up, I also have a Whirlpool Fridge and Microwave) demand that you prove you have a Home Care Plan. They will also doubt the invoice and letter generated by their own company and try to prove that you are trying to cheat them. Will demand that you should mention the customer ID during the complain - which incidentally is an internal number and does not appear on any contract or letter given to you. They will tell you that you have to call up Whirlpool and ask for THAT number as the numbers written on the letter or the contract documents are all useless!!!

                          Competence level of engineers is another big low for this company, be assured that if the engineer fixes PROBLEM A, he will initiate PROBLEM B like changing of a PCB on the fridge will result into him switching off the inside lights of the device.

                          MY VERDICT - Dont touch them even with a barge pole.

                          I read your comments. It is useful info anyone thinking of making a purchase. It will be better if Whirlpool guys read it but I guess they don't care.

                          I am an "UNLUCKY" felllow who purchased a refrigerator of the "self praised "WORLDS No1 ???? home applaince company...It was on 24th AUG 2009..and by gods grace one day it works for me, and dead. So i complained to the shop and they give a number of your service center in trivandrum named High Tech Solutions...and after repeated calls and one week they send an engineer, and he told that the gas is leaked!!! so as per his information I gave the copy of bill and warranty card to that service center and they told it will replaces with in one week. several times I called them and got the same reply as will be replaced with in one week. at last I called to the call center([protected] is the given number for registration) and shocked with the reply as the complaint is closed as the product is replaced?????????????????? What a customer care YOU HAVE???? Really great!!! and (It cost me more than 1000 rupees to calls itself, as evry times it told as all executives are busy) even I registered with SMS also till no reply for that...Again one person called me(His number [protected] and told as manager of trivandrum) and offered it will be replaced with in this week...today the date 25th Oct 2009. still its dead here...
                          I waited these much time ...next is legal and
                          I WILL BURN YOUR FRIDGE INFRONT OF YOUR SHOWROOM WITH THE PRESENCE OF MEDIAS...

                            Future Group is big name but probably the customer service is worst that I ever seen in my life. I booked a refrigerator on 19th July 2009(Sunday) at ezone Koramangala Bangalore branch by paying Rs 1500. I On 21st July 2009, I got a call to make full payment and the consignment will be delivered on the same evening, but it never happen. As I did not like the display piece I requested the concerned person not to deliver it and they promised me that they will never give the display piece. They told me that they will give a new piece on Wednesday. After lot many phone calls and requests they have not delivered the refrigerator till 26th July 2009 till 9PM. But unfortunately we got the same display piece that we saw there on Tuesday.

                            Here the question arises how we came to know that the delivered piece is the same display piece that we have seen on the shop. We found some marks on the display piece that are there in the delivered piece.
                            It never be a co-incident that any locking goods will come with a single key secondly without covering the goods with polythene.
                            Also the customer care service is so bad that they don't even respond properly to the phone calls. Each time you call them they used tell some or the other excuse for the delay in delivery. After so many phone calls and waiting for 8 days I got a piece which I never liked. The worst part is that it is gift for my wife on her birthday but the gift came after the birthday even-if I booked it much more advanced date.

                            Could you please suggest what action should be taken on these?

                              DEAR SIRS


                              I BOUGHT WHIRLPOOL REFIGERATOR ON 21 ST JAN 2006 FROM YOUR AUTHORISED DEALER M/S SAI GALAXY AT MATHIKERE, BANGALORE.

                              THE MODEL IS F23 CLASSIC PLUS ( MODEL NO 9000 ) SERIAL NO INA[protected].

                              IT WAS GIVING SATIFACTORY SERVICE TILL 7 TH JULY. IN THE MORNING OF THAT DAY MY WIFE NOTICED THAT THERE IS NO COOLING. IMMEDIATELY I RANG UP THE CALL CENTRE AND REGISTERED A NO COOLING COMPLAINT WIDE # BG[protected].

                              ONE MECHANIC CAME ON 8 TH EVENING AND REPORTED THAT THERE IS GAS LEAK. HE COLLECTED AN ATTROTIAUS AMOUNT OF RS 281 FROM ME FOR INSPECTION FEES AND SAID SOME BODY WILL COME NEXT DAY FROM THE SERVICE FRANCHISEE ( SAI KIRAN SERVICES) ON 9 TH.

                              I GOT SUSPICOIUS AND WROTE A LETTER TO WHIRLPOOL ( BY USING YOUR SITE IN INTERNET – CONTACT US ) ON 8 TH AND REQUESTED THAT FRIDGE BE CHECKED BY A COMPANY PERSON. AND HOW COME GAS LEAK FOR A RELATIVELY NEW FRIDGE. IN CONNECTION WITH THAT I WAS INFORMED ON PHONE THAT COMPANY ENGINEER WILL VISIT AND ACCORDINGLY ON 10 TH JULY MR SHRIKANT VISITED. HE CHECKED AND DID LOT OF GAS CUTTING USING MY LPG GAS AND FINALLY SAID THAT COMPRESSOR IS FAULTY AND WILL BE REPLACED ON NEXT MONDAY IE 12 TH.

                              AFTER SEVERAL REMINDERS TO THE CALL CENTRE AT LAST THE SERVICE FRANCHISEE PERSONS CAME TODAY ( 25 TH JULY ) AND RELACED THE COMPRESSOR DID GAS FILLING ETC AND LEFT AT 2 PM SAYING THAT NOW FRIDGE IS OK. I PAID A SERVICE FEE OF RS 1500 TODAY.

                              IT WAS WORKING FOR 2 HOURS AND STOPPED WORKING BY 4 PM. I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO ALL CONCERNED – CALL CENTRE, SAI KIRAN SERVICES, THE ENGINEERS WHO ATTENDED TO THE FRIDGE BUT NO FURTHER ACTION.

                              I AM BACK TO SQUARE ONE AFTER NEARLY 20 DAYS AND SHELLING OUT IN ALL RS 1781 AS SERVICE FEES. MY FRIDGE IS STILL NOT WORKING.

                              WILL SOMEBODY FROM WHIRLPOOL HEAD QUARTERS LOOK IN TO THIS. I AM SURE THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER FEEDBACK IS NOT COMMON TO THE COMPANY.

                              IS THIS THE KIND OF AFTER SALES ONE EXPECTS FROM AN MNC ?. IN FACT I WAS PLANNING TO BUY / REPLACE SOME HOME APPLIANCES WITH WHIRLPOOL. WITH THIS BITTER EXPERIENCE I AM NOW RETHINKING ABOUT IT.

                              I SHALL BE THANKFUL FOR A REPLY AND PROMPT AND EFFECTIVE ACTION.

                              I purchased A WHIRLPOOL ELITE REFRIGERATOR 280L FROM THE DEALER ASNANI HOME APPLIANCE, JYANTI MARKET, JAIPUR, ON DEC30 2006.IT IS WORST FRIDGE.NO COOLING IN IT .THERE IS NO PROPARE SERVICE. NOT GETTING PROPARE REPLY AND SATISFACTION FROM THE SERVICE CENTRE.ON CALLING THEM TO CHECK THE FRIDGE, NO ONE GIVES US RESPONSE.AFTER PURCHASING FRIDGE THE FRIDGE ONLY WORKED SIX MONTH ONLY, AFTER THEN THE PROBLEM STARTED.I ADVISE NOT TO PURCHASE SUCH BOGUS FRIDGE.
                              Mr. Rao - I am going through exactly the same problem with my Whirlpool double door refrigerator. Saikiran technician came last Monday (August 10th) and said that there is a problem with my compressor and has to be replaced. After multiple complaints to Whirlpool customer service, so far no one has come back (its been more than 1 week we've been managing without a fridge).

                              Looks like the Saikiran folks are apathetic to customer problems and simply dont care. I am at the point where I feel I'll just get a new refrigerator and dump this horrible product. Whirlpool manufacturing is quite defective I feel (this is the 2nd problem in 2 years since we brought this fridge).

                              Let me know how you're doing now (did you get your fridge fixed?).

                              I would recommend not to buy Whirlpool ref. I am not happy with thr product, have purchased Whirlpool prof. and its too noisy and smelly. It was just one month that I purchased the product and water started accumulating in the bottom tray.

                                I had bought a Window AC from a dealer in Dwarka about a month and a half ago . My pain started the moment I switched over to Whirlpool from Hitachi ( Best AC company ) . Its been more then a month that no one ever visitied/called/cared to give me any demo . I had to got my AC installed from pvt mecahnics in the Area and they helped me understandning the junk mecahnics.

                                After a while I discovered that I was shown Elite model but sold Premier modle as said by the dealer that both are the same products.

                                Its not just only . My worst nightmare started 2 days back when my Brand New AC stopped working and for the last 2 days I'm praying to the god that it start working.

                                In continuation, I called up customer service as well but they said talk to the dealer and they can't help it. Also when I insisted them to take an action against the dealer and help get my money back the guy on the phone " GOPAL " this morning said Aap jara dhang sey baat kijiye and banged the phone on my face.

                                Sir, I purchased a 180L royla genius fridge from visakhapatnam whirlpool agency on Nov 07. The same became non ops on Mar 09 just after one year and five month. after complain service engineer visited at my house and said compressor is faulty. They changed the compressor and charged around Rs. 900/- for transportation, IP to relay switch and service charges. The same became non operational in Jul 09. I complained the same and Complain no. is 001915. They charge around Rs 1400/- but after negotiation with senior executive they reduce the gas filling charges and charged Rs.400/- (But the gas leaked out due to improper welding, which was service engineer fault). They delivered the fridge me on 17 Jul 09 in the late evening and now the same has became non ops. After complain they gave me complain no. 8194. Service engineer visited and said gas is blocked . They will most probably again will take my fridge to service centre. Due to this my so many thing got wasted. I complained twice on web to the company but no reply.

                                WHIRLFOOL not Whirlpool

                                I bought a 1T split AC from this company some 10 days ago. That was the beginning of my nightmare. It stopped cooling after 24 hours. since then hordes people visited my place in the name of customer care. Some said there is no gas in the unit. Gas was filled. Unit started functioning albeit a funny rattling noise from the indoor unit but cooling level was very low as compared to a 1T Godrej AC fixed on my adjoining bedroom. Then I noticed water seepage in the wall ( newly pained a week ago) where the indoor unit was fixed. Another round of visits and I am told AC is fine and there is no problem.
                                Then I calculated tonnage of the unit from the cooling capacity marked on the unit. It turned out to be a machine of 0.9T !!! That is why they are showing very low power consumption compared to other brands !!!
                                This is a plain case of cheating and fradulent practice. I was misguided by their sales gimmick. If they do not refund my money I am going to approach consumer court.

                                we have purchased a whrilpool proton + ellite model on 5/6/10 from M/s Royal electronics, chembur, Mumbai.But as per the offer whirlpool should give 2 rebok specs and a rebok watch with the fridge. But 20days already been passed there is no positive response.Pl tell us, what should we do in this situation?Really frustating...

                                  I, Dr Vohra have a Whirlpool Fridge -450l. I Have taken AMC for the same and my Home Care Plan Application No. is-HP04065660.
                                  I had put in a complaint on 19-7-09 at 1.50PM and my comp no. is-DL[protected].
                                  Same day within an hour Engineer visited and told that it needs gas refilling which will be done next day and since I had guests for dinner I requested the service centre to do it on same day so they sent a person for gas - he checked and tried his level best and said since there is some Capillary Blockage- the fridge has to go to factory- when I told him its 450 l fridge which cannot be taken down through the stairs- he said factory people will make arrangements for the same and assured me that it will be taken next day and max 1 day and it will be brought back.
                                  Day-2-Next day I stayed back home and even after multi ple reminders noone came to pick it - I was told the truck is in south delhi so it will take 2 hrs and so to reach. Same day I contacted Mr Kapil and he assured me that it will be taken same day and will be back on Tuesday.On 20-7-09 at 8 PM I get a call from the person who had to pick the fridge and said if he comes now that is after 8PM the factory will be closed by the time he reaches back and fridge will be left out so its better if he comes next morning -I agreed because I didn't want people entering my house at 9PM- ( I feel its not a decent time ).
                                  Day-3-Next morning that is on 21-7-09 at 8AM- one person comes on Hand rickshaw and tells me that he has come to pick the fridge(I really don't understand how can 1 person on handrickshaw can lift and take down 450 l fridge through window-) he said since fridge is big so he will send some engineer who will repair it at my house-(Was he more qualified than the earlier engineer) . I called Impulz Service Centre for the same - I was told - its company's policy that first they try bringing fridge to factory and repair it and if its not possible to bring it then they send engineer from factory to repair it and since engineer has to come from factory so he will come after 3PM and on my insistence I got comp no-19942 .Then Engineer -Hemant Kumar comes within 1 hr and does some job and tells me he has opened the capillary blockage and fridge is fine- when I asked him about job sheet - he refused and when I asked him what had he done - he rudely told me that I should be concerned only about fridge cooling and have no business asking the details. As per instructions fridge was kept empty for 3 hrs and then started- but there is no cooling. Midnight around 3 PM - my parents heard some noises from the fridge and my mother got scared that something might blast and switched it off.
                                  4th day- again I have put in comp no-DL[protected] and I really have no idea that such a big Brand Fridge and in this peak summer -how many more phone calls and how many more days do I have to stay without Fridge.I really don't know whether company is aware of such Harassment being done to their customer by service centre people.
                                  5th day- only a call for assurance that it will be done- but no time given- am supposed to stay back for whole day and wait .

                                    i am jino jose and I bought one splach modal washing machine on 28/04/08 from Alappattu agencies Thodupuzha .The machine have two year warranty.up to now five times the machine showing the complaint and three time the comany had change the spiers including the mother board.Last time they agree me for the replacement .Now again thats not working but I did not get any response from the delear or the company.

                                    Whirlpool/Washing Machine — FREQUENT REPAIRS SINCE LAST SERVICING DONE

                                    I am owning a washing machine (hotwash/automatic model) of whirlpool and it was working fine till March 09 when we lodged a complaint with whirlpool service centre, delhi. In March 09, some parts were changed by their authorised service dealer in west delhi and a sum of Rs.5580 was paid; In July again it developed some problems, which was attended to and rectified - costing Rs.3200/-; (I was told that if there was any repairs within one month period, it would be attended to). Unfortunately, the machine again broke down on 28th Aug 09 - The visit of which was done after payment of visiting charges of Rs.281/-.

                                    A responsible company like Whirlpool is expected to behave and take care of their customers;
                                    Servicing by the consumer durables industry has become a revenue generator - they gain more revenue in servicing rather than on their original sales...

                                      Hi,

                                      My name is prasad. I bought a fridge in 2003 from whirlpool with guarantee for7years.
                                      Last month (june), our fridge had a problem of getting more cooled. So we are trying to placing complaint but your customer care no's are not working and also trying to mail through your website but not delivered the mail also.

                                      kindly do the needful to get a prior service from whirlpool as soon as possible.

                                      I have one wirlpool refrigerator. Model wp220gl, frost free, no cfc model. Now there is some problem in working condition. Continuos on position in condesor showing. Cooling in good condition. Only Continuos ON position problem. Now I am total Stopped the system. I can't understand the problem.
                                      Please send one service engineer. Warranty period is over.

                                        Hi, My under warranty fridge is bad from last 5 days. I got the complaint registered (NB[protected])to the call center. People from local repair center visited promptly to find that compressor is faulty on Monday. until thursday, they have been coming and going everyday, I am yelling at them at least 4 time but the problem not resolved. Thursday they closed my complaint number also without a resolution. I called again and registered a new complaint.

                                        Considering It was an emergency complaint, being in Mumbai due to the weather food needs to be preserved. But Whirpool shows no respect to the customer. When I asked to speak to someone senior, he/she is always busy and promises to call back. No such promises are kept.

                                        Can I get someone whom I can escalate the matter to?

                                        Refrigerator Whirlpool — Bad Service

                                        Purchased Elite model 6 th sense 280lt. capacity from Metro Bangalore on 1/05/09 & got registered for installation & demonstration still no body has turned to install . i called up Deepa(at service centre) sveral times but no response has come yet.
                                        This is to inform you that i have purchased a whirlpool refrigator at kolkatta form Garia on 16/07/06 after the purchase 3 days onwards only there has been chilling problem on 28/04/09 i have logged a complaint but the person name Mr.Pradim kuar bhalla who came for check up without making it ok he close the case again i have logged a complaint but same person came and he comitted that the work will be done within 3 days after 3 days when again i called up near 10 times same comitment has been forwarded from customer care soon our engineer will check its going to be 3 weeks that work has not been completed.
                                        Pls look into the matter.

                                        Whirlpool - Refrigerator — Horrible service

                                        The complaint has been made on last Sunday,30th Aug, regarding my refrigerator. Monday,31st Aug, whirlpool technician came and share that GAS to be refilled and we should not switch on. They will take the refrigerator to their service centre for refilling of gas.
                                        4 days past, despite several reminders to call center nobody has turned up for the same and refrigerator is switch off since Monday,31st Aug.
                                        Is it a responsible customer service department in current market scenario?
                                        Nobody in whirlpool service department bothers to understand that how the family is facing problem without the refrigerator and also without knowing the time will take to get the same repaired.
                                        Forget that the basic product quality - GAS leaked/finished within 4 years of purchase (just after the gurrantee period). We have no such complaints for LG and other company's refrigerator which we have used before.
                                        Want to understand why such service failure happens? is it a normal service culture of Whirlpool?
                                        When can we get the refrigerator repaired?

                                        Whirlpool Refrigerators — Bad Service

                                        I had purchased a refrigerator ( Whirlpool ) from this renowned dealer at Barasat. Its already 3 days from purchase but still they are unable to deliver the product. Being such a big dealer they are still unable to service their customers.

                                        My Service Number is BG[protected], and satisfaction code is 868. I have given the down payment of Rs 5000 to buy a refrigerator :REF FFS: NEO IC275 on 05.03.2013.
                                        I was promised that the product will be delivered on 06.03.2013 but it was not delivered today. As I had to skip my office to receive your delivery today but I cannot continue to skip my office one another day.

                                        They are making different excuses on my every call to them. Can you please let me know the escalation point for this issue?
