Sir,

Through this mail I would like to draw your kind concern regarding poorest customer care service in India.
I am using so many different products of different companies and also talked with their customer care but my experience with whirlpool customer care is very pathetic. Each time I called up, a new customer care executive had picked the call and told me a new story regarding my complain actually heshe had not any information what was the last communicationcommitment done with customer.The same attitude is shown by service center (Impulz Home Care Services) executive, first of all she is very rude, she has no sense, how to talk with a customer who has lodge a complain for last four days and irritate from the fake commitments.

I had lodge a complain (DL[protected] ) for refrigerator on 16th May 2009. An engineer had visited same day, and commit that we take this to our workshop and will return this back by 18th May 2009. But when I called Impluz on 18th May 2009 they told me they have not tested yet so the refrigerator will be delivered by 19 th May 2009. Now on 19th May they are saying that they required one more day to test.

Now I want either my refrigerator get delivered by tomorrow afternoon or money back which I give as a visiting and service charge.

This mail is in reference to the poorest costumer care service provided by Whirlpool. I had bought a Whirlpool Inverter on the 05/01/10 from QRS in Trivandrum. Since then began the nightmare of calling up the so called customer care service. From the time I bought the inverter, till date I have already faced problems with the machine at least five times. Being a patron of Whirlpool I had decided to go for this in spite of my friends warning me as this was newly launched product. Every time I have a problem I call up the customer care and they assure me that a person would come and fix the problem within next 24 hours, but it never happens. Finally after the third problem one person showed up and had a look at the machine and said he wouldn’t be able to help as he was not an engineer. I really don’t understand why the person was sent if he didn’t know anything about inverters. Isn’t the Service Center supposed to send qualified technicians to attend to guest complaints? Again on 19th of this month the inverter started giving me problems and on 20th I called up the customer care and as usual they assured me someone will come and rectify the same, it has been a week since then and till date nobody has bothered to call or come to rectify the inverter. If you can retrieve the records for the number of times I have called your customer care in Trivandrum you will actually be surprised. Now I am in Bangalore and my parents alone are at home (for whom I had bought this) and they find it difficult without an inverter as there are lot of power cuts in that area. False promises and assurances have become the tagline for your so called Customer Care Service. The people at the Customer Care Centre are least bothered about the problems of the client and either they keep on transferring the calls or put you on hold till you hang up.

I am in the process of settling down in Bangalore and had booked a couple of home appliances for my house but after this kind of service I have no faith in Whirlpool and most importantly the people hired by Whirlpool.
This is to inform you that on 26/07/08 I had purchased Whirlpool Washing Machine. The Model was Ebony Royal. It was one of the most high end models of whirlpool at that time. Since the D.O.P already 3 times the Circuit Board has been changed. Every time the service executive visited for service he was just least bothered about the primary job, instead of that he was more eager to push sell the "Iron Filter" for the same. Amongst the three time changes of the Circuit Board one time he changed the same with an old one. Even last time when he was asked to change the defected board with a seal pack new one, he refused & said that due to checking they used to open all the seal packs at their end so they can provide any seal pack item. The quality of the product is very poor & service is worst as I ever faced.

This is to bring in your notice that I had lodged a complaint with serial no GB[protected] dtd 18th april-2010 & after N number of follow ups with your customer care the engineer (Mr.Manoj Khatri) visited at site on 20th April-2010. After visit he told that the sensors need to be replaced & the same will be replaced on 21st april-2010.But unfortunately he didn't turned up & I again got in touch with your customer care & was shocked to hear that my complaint has been closed without rectifying my problem. I fail to understand that without taking the signatures of mine with satisfaction code on the log register, how can he close the complaint. Is there any check on this ? pls confirm & depute some other engineer who will address my problem.

Its with utmost regret and pain that am writing this note to you....

I had made an unfortunate decision of buying a Fridge bearing your brand.... a 3 door Proton...

The sequence of events mentioned below will be self explanatory as to why I feel that "I have made a wrong and unfortunate decision of buying one of your products"

I purchased the Fridge "3 door Proton" from Home Town, Thaltej, Ahmedabad...

It started making a huge noise like a generator from the 3rd month onwards

Called up your call center and raised the complaint...

Some one came within two days and rectified the issue....

After about 4 months, it was noticed that the vegetable tray cooling was very poor, leading to the formation of fungus on the vegetables kept in the compartment meant for vegetables.

Again I had raised the complaint on the same...

Some one came and checked and informed saying that switch inside the fridge was damaged and that it has to be replaced...

My point to him was, (a) No one has played with the switch inside the fridge for it to warrant a replacement within 6 months of purchase. (b) This fridge by itself must have been a faulty one, as, within a span of a few months from purchase, I have had to call your service center twice with a complaint....

So I requested him to provide a replacement of the Fridge and he told me that he is not the right person and that I would have to speak to his supervisor... So I took the supervisor's number and spoke to him.... The supervisor told me that I have to talk to his manager, for which I will have to call him back after about 2 hours... I called the supervisor back in exactly 2 hours... The supervisor put me on hold for about 15 min and then finally told me that he will call me back immediately after taking the Manager on a call conference... And when, even after 0ne hour, he did not call me back, I tried calling the supervisor back, but his number was switched off. Next day again I tried to talk to the supervisor, but he did not pick my call.

Again I made the next call to the call center and lodged the complaint stating the pain I had gone through...And also I had mentioned to the executive who attended the call to ensure that my call is recorded so that it can be played back to some one senior...

Nothing happened from your side and I called the call center again... Lodged the complaint again...

Some one called me up and said that he would get the needful done the next day (this was told to me after I again explained the concern in detail)...

The next day some lady spoke to me asking me to again explain the issue that I have... I told her, "I have already explained this 5-6 times and am tired of explaining this to every new person who is enquiring"....

Even to this day, My complaint and concern has still not been attended to by anyone from your company and I continue to Live with your Faulty Fridge, despite having spent all the money on this...

A company as reputed as yours should not be treating your customers in this fashion and also what's more paining is the way your local so called Managers have treated a customer....

Would also request you to pls listen to the call center interactions that I have had to understand why its been such a painful experience that I have undergone for the simple reason that I purchased a fridge having your Brand name...

I own a Whirpool splash washing machine and it has worked ok for last 2 year. Well we hardly used it as my wife prefers getting her clothes cleaned by maid as the machine is too harsh on them and has torn a few.Only i have used it on rare occasions when the maid was absent.On 10th Oct2011 my Washing machine stopped taking in water.After trying everything i decided to contact Whirpool Service for support as it was under extended warranty contract till 2012 dec. I sent them a mail @ [protected]@whirpool.com on 13th Oct’2011 with complete details.I got a call from their center that the engineer will come to visit me soon and a satisfaction code which i was to provide incase i found the service met my expectations.

The engineer from their Authorized Service Center - Impulz Home Care Services, came the same evening and after fiddling around for 15 minutes left saying that he was not carrying parts for this model as it is now not produced by the company.I asked him, then why does whirpool sell extended contracts if it can not even keep parts aside for support? He had no answers.

The engineer came back the next day with a replacement part from another machine.It did not work.After he replaced the intake valve and motor from another model the machine kept filling water to High Level even when the dial was on Low Level.The motor and valve were not responding. He told me that the problem is partially fixed and i can now use the machine by opening and closing water from tap itself during wash.

Isn’t this crazy ? Why would i be buying Whirpool's Fully Automatic Machine if i had no work but to just sit there and watch water being drained and with every rinse fill it again to the correct level myself . I asked him to put back the original part back and close the machine.

I sent mails for service but got no response.After 3 days he was back with the correct part, which also did not work as the pressure valve also needed replacement.Of course he was not carrying it either.Promising me that he will get it fixed in next 2 days, he never showed up.I am since writing mails to their team and haven’t got a response.

If you are thinking of buying a good branded washing machine, then peace of mind is what you expect.One does not want issues arising out of poor quality.Even in case there is a problem, one believes that it will be dealt with a speedy professional response much in tune with the Brand image.Here, i have spent 11400/- on machine, a 2274/- on extended contract and am now running after these crooks to fix the issue and get done over with it.

Impulz Home Care Services Delhi has not responded and the machine is gathering dust. What to do??
I am looking for escalation emails @ Whirpool.If anyone has them please post them on this thread.

Oct29’11 - i am yet to hear from anyone for servicing my Whirpool Washing machine. The complaint was logged on 13th Oct ’11 and i am waiting for support since.i have sent my 9th Reminder to Whirpool India, Today by Email. Oct'30th - No Response received yet ...

Oct31st - No Response ..so sent Reminder No.10 to Whirpool India and Submitted another Service Request through Whirpool India.The machine is gathering dust and i could not stop myself from calling Impulz Home Care Services.Mr.Rajender from Impulz told me that i was not contacted as the part for machine were not available and only today Whirpool has sent these part to Impulz. So i can expect an engineer in the evening..

I wonder ..why are customers not told that while great sales pitches are made for Selling Warranty Support.I have paid 2274/- and feel cheated.I would have never bought Whirpool if i was aware of their poor customer support ..

Mr.Rajender - Service Engineer from Impulz Home Care Services arrived and replaced the faulty parts with new one.Took him only 20 Minutes .Apparently the engineer who had visited me thrice earlier didn't know much about washing machines!I could not test the machine as there was no water supply though he ran the diagnostics test and told me it will work fine.Hope my ordeal is finally over.

    We complaint about whirlpool a/c on[protected].Our Complaint number is 21994. We are not yet get any remedy from customer care of chennai. My mother & Father is a patient. Past 4 days they are contacting customer care with distress mind. Our phone bill is increased without remedy.We are ashme to say we are customer of whirlpool for past 4 years with annual maintenance service.We face a poor customer service in chennai.Take immediate step and save our family from hotness.

    Whirlpool customer care is one of the worst i have ever come across. I bought an 1ton whirlpool magic cool split a/c from m/s.ratna stores in T.Nagar around 2yrs back. Since the day it was purchased we had cooling issues and atleast dozen of whirlpool technicians attented the issue without any remedy.They gave me all [censored]s reasons including Double Booster, Change of face etc. but nothing worked. I would like to caution all those potential A/c buyers not to consider Whirlpool even in their dreams as it doesn't worth the money.
    I have also similar problem. i purchased 1.5 Ton Ac of Whirl pool on 1st May 2009 and since 1st day there are cooling problems. I have made several complaints in past 2 months and severl service enginners have visited . Some times they say Voltage is not proper, somce times they say your Stabliser is defetvie, I change the stabliser got the voltage checked but there was no fault with either voltage or stablizer.

    15 days back they said the AC is defective and it will be replace. But inspite of regularly calling their service centres, there is no replacement done. Again one engineer visited on 7th july and told that Gac in AC has leaked and they will inform by evening as to what action they will take. No body called up and informed.

    The product and service of whirlpool is horrible

    I do not recommend any person buying any product of Whirlpool.

    I agree with the above complaints.

    The most PATHETIC Customer care is of Whirlpool. Infact because of poor service the company is losing its name.

    The customer care executives only know to call ofr feedback and call for AMC
    The Engineers who visit for inspection are rude, mannerless and shout back at cuatomers.
    The biggest mistake is to buy a whirlpool product. The management is probabaly looking into sales and not for service.
    Will never ever buy or recommend any one buy a whirlpool product
    washing machine in Thanjavur compliant is not rectified and done for the past ten days in the following address.

      I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (Master Mind 260 ltr Fusion model) from Nutan Electronics, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 93, on dated 10 April 2009 .

      When I check it and found its Emergency light (e-Light on front Pannel) is not working, then I logged a call in Whirlpool Customer Care, complaint no : DL[protected] on 24th April' 2009 (Friday) but Whirlpool Engineer (Mr. Ashu) came on Sunday and found battery was completely dead and has to be replaced, he told me, I will come next day for change the battery, but till date (18-May-09) no response from Whirlpool Customer Care. and no budy attend this call.

      I have make a many calls to Whirlpool Customer Care but the executives told me, your call attended will be shortly as soon as possible, but no one attend this call.

      Hereby you are requested to take some urgent action to shortout my problem .

      Refrigerators Fusion — e-light

      Dear sir,

      We had purchases refrigerator of fusion model
      on dated[protected] who is modal no 11269 INCO 4114166
      as per your clame the e-light will ON approximataly two Hours after power cut. But in my refrigertor e-light shut off after whith in 2-3 minites .
      I had submit complaned which has no is JP[protected] on dated[protected] but still there is no responce from your side pls arrange to repair it as soon as possible.

      I bought a whirlpool fridge last year a big one to suit to the needs of my family. I had a man who had come after the purchase to give me the detailed explanation of the use and other things. He also asked me to enter into a contract for service for a period of three years and I paid the money wide receipt no.2662 dated 8/11/2008. It is over eight months and no service has been done. Not only that I had registered a complaint 14 days to remind them of the service. Noone has turned up till date inspite of repeated complaints to phone no.26784455 and my complaint no. is MBO[protected].Now there is a leakage from the same and we do not know wherefrom it comes. I was informed good service from your company but you failed to do so.Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

        Dear Sir,

        I've submitted a complaint to whirlpool authorized dealer regarding machine not working before 10 days back. After that I've again called them and next day their engineer came at home and said there a requirement of machine spare part and we will come tomorrow with that part. Next I've called again they said me Engineer will reach at your home very soon but nobody came. After that till date no body came at home after several follow ups with engineer and with their customer care executive they always told me today engineer will come and solve the problem. I've took many follow ups on phone but no resolution still I've got. So you are requested to kinldy help me out.

        And please also note that I've done a AMC contract with whirlpool dealer before three months back for two years.

        Im the most harrased customer at the hands of your dealer, and all service providers. I have purchased whirlpool refrigirator-Fusion on 16th November2007, bearing model no10962 and serial no INAOY4513160. Since 15th September 2009 the compressor is not working and I had orally informed on telephone to your dealer at nagpur several times. He went on giving me assurance but in vain.Finally I lodged complaint with customer care on 19th September2009, bearing complaint no NP[protected] and It is still in warranty period.
        However it is pertinent to note here that even after lodging said complaint I was assured that the service provider will visit at one o'clock on 20th September..but no one attended.Again I called one of the employee namely Ashish having cell no[protected], who asked me to call at office situated near Airport on landline bearing no[protected]. One Aparna madam assured that concern will visit on Wednesday. But the sad part is that no one again attended nor responded me. Again on wednesday I called Mr Ashish and he assured me that my complaint will be attended on Thursday i.e on 24th Sept2009 for sure.But in vain.
        Finally at evening today when I enquired from Mr Ashish, he told me that concern will come on 25th Sept and immediately switched off his cell.Unfortunately again I was given false assurance by Manager Mr Naresh Katriya that concern is attending today in the evening...But it is useless.At around 9.30pm he called on my landline and told that tomorrow i.e on 25th sept2009.It seems that they are trying my patience and giving false assurance which amounts to breach of trust.So please take cognizance of this and do the needful, else I will take necessary steps.

          I purchased a whirlpool air conditioner from Viveks, Adyar. It was well covered under annual maintenance and said that periodic visits would be made by the service agent. However none turned up. Meanwhile There was a problem in its function last year, complaint was made and the airconditioner was delivered to us nicely after the peak heat season. To our dismay, this year the airconditioner was taken (4.5.2009) and till date there is no clue on when it would be returned. We find the service agent Sriram Refrigeration, Nandanam to have a peculiar set of employees who keep on providing false information that the machine is waiting for a spare, its ready and on the way to your house, and after such waiting, the next day they state that its yet to be repaired. It really takes toll on the peace at home and it becomes an irritant. The name Whirlpool is a matter of curiosity and fear. I suggest that people should refrain from promoting this product, especially Viveks who encourage such a company with a bad service team and none to complain to.

          I hope someone from Whirlpool sees this message and takes up with the chennai service centre and protect its share of business.

          Donot go for Whirlpool air conditioner, it's really bad service, go for always Samsung/LG, it's very good service chain system.
          Yes.. it is very pathetic. I regret buying Whirlpool AC too.

            I complained to M/s.Whirlpool Customer Care on 04..07..2008 regarding a refrigerator which I had bought on 25..03..2008 but no response.After rigorous follow up, i got a call finally & the engineer has asked me to bring the refrigerator to Jaynagar as my house situated in Dasarahalli is very far.
            Kindly take suitable action.My complaint no. with M/s.Whirlpool is BG[protected]BG/C 0708/29110.

              Hello,

              The door frame of my refrigerator got broken after the light impact, while my daughter was playing. I called the Whirlpool Service (Call) Centre and placed complaint with them. The engineer came and went back saying, he would check the part availability and fix the problem. It happened around six months back. Till now there's no news from them. I keep repeatedly placing the new complaints, but I'm getting no proper response. When I call the Call Centre, they simply say that, they would escalate the issue and nothing happens after that. Inspite of reminding them, after every 3-4 days, the complaint is falling on deaf ears. It becomes very frustrating, when the they company which claims to be no. 1 in the world, gives such a poor after sale service. There is a word of caution to all prospective buyers, please take this thing into consideration before going for any Whirlpool product, because after sale service is o[censored]tmost importance.

              we have purchase 310liter refrigator . when it was send for cooling complain to your authorised service center ACACIA . Its door got damaged ,Acasias people ensure that the same will be changed .

              but now 08 month has been passed but there is no responce . when Ipersonely visited acasia those people are saying that when we rexcivwd the door from company it will be replaced.

              so i want to know that is there any time schedule for replacement.

                We had a problem in our Fridge, there was no cooling effect (not under warranty), we had informed the service centre about the issue in the month of March 09 over phone 60008558, 26680008.. They had sent a service engineer after a weeks time.. The engineer who had come informed there is problem in gas and serviced for the same, at that time he assured that all the other part of the refrigerator are working fine. We paid rs 1412 as the overall service charge (Bill no 001225 dated 31/03/09 for rs 1050, bill no 031475 dated 31/03/09 for rs 82 & bill no 001172 dated 27/03/09 for rs 280), the fridge was working only for 2 days later the same problem persisted hence we approched the service engineer n number of times but there was no proper response so we again called the service centre 60008558, 26680008 and filed a complaint against the service, they had sent the same person after 10 days time, at the 2nd visit the engineer said there is no problem with the compressor and again there is a problem in gas so he worked for more than 1 hour and later said there is a problem with the compressor and same needs to replaced. We were not confident on the engineer so we raised the complain again to the service centre, they had sent an another person to check the problem and he said the engineer has made some mistake and they will get back to us very shortly.. But no one turned up.. since march we have been keep calling the service centre almost once in 2 days but we are not getting a positive reply from them. I spoke to one of their supervisor Mr Paul 10 days before he assured there will be a call back given from their service, the same day evening we received a call and they assured the problem will be rectified by Monday ( 4th May) but till date no one has come to repair, in the mean time i had called almost 3 to 4 times reminding them.. But no proper response received hence i finally decided to file a case against the service people.. Pls throw some light on this issue... my contact no[protected]

                Whirlpool Refrigerator — Worst quality of service

                  I had faced with the problem of water leaking while I was in Delhi. Three service engineer visiited and after replacing one after another parts they could not rectify the problem. And problem of water leaking and bodyheating remained as it is. When I had shifted to Kolkata the problem of water leaking and bodyheating increased but no engineer could rectify the problem and advised me the this was not at all a problem and such problem is irrepairable. Now when I opened my fridge yesterday suddenly a spark with huge noise occurred in the innerback portion of the body beside leaving heavy bad gaseous odor. Shall be glad if my problem is looked into on war footing basis as huge quantity of eatables are in the process of rotting.

                    my name is amit nisal from pune my customer id is pn/c/0409/11/727 .
                    I have purchased whirlpool's( which they say as no1 company ) 185 ltr refrigerater as model name Genius in jan.09.
                    Within 4 months ( before 20 days ) i had a problem that itis not working properly ( not cooling ) so i register my complain to whirlpool's care centre & they gave me my id complaint no. (compl. no [protected] )etc. After that their person come & check the machine & inform us that compressor to be replaced as itis not working .
                    service person tell me that within 2 days it will get replace .so i wait for 3 days but nobody has come so again i called local service station for inquiry again they told me to wait for 2 days so i did.
                    but still no response from their is coming . after i questioned for the same for last 5 days they are saying compressor is not available & we don't know when it will come. again i regsistered today my complain ( compl. no [protected] ) for not proper response & they replay me their person will call within 2 hrs. but still nobody call .
                    I am feelling very frustated & harrased by response on WORLD' S Giant quality product manufacturer such as Whirlpool .
                    IF this is a quality & services of Worlds no.1 company then what should i say. i[censored] can not make available spares such as compressor within 10 days then u should stop selling or making fool of people by sayiing ur no.1 company.

                    Before this mail i think & have a great respect that Whirlpool has a great Quality standards but after this experiance ...????????????

                    Now u pl tell me what should i do ( should i go to conumer court to file a complained ?)

                    I had given complaint for repair of my fridge at JB Enterprise, Ranchi.Inspite of calling 3 times the mech came on 5.5.09Later the very next day the problem recurred again.Now after calling 5-6 times the mech visited and repaired something in the panel(Model FF 220 Elite).and said it's ok.Till date i have called them many times but still the problem persists.
                    I request you to look into the matter and advice me.for the same.

                      Sir,

                      I want to bring to your notice about the problem which i faced whilst purchasing a whirlpool Refrigetrator. In the begning itself a faulty product was delivered which was not functioning properly and after the service engineer had visited he was very reluctant to replace the product and was passing the buck to the dealer from which the product was purchased. On speaking to the dealer he said that it was teh company which has to replace the product. After heated discussions and arguments the company service engineer takes the bill copy and promises that the product would be replaced within three working days. But after three working days still they did not call and provide with an update. On calling their customer service it is being found that the initial service request is already closed without any comments and then i was provided a new urgent request was registered and was promised with call back from supervisor. I had called thrice but did not recieve any call back and when i wanted to speak to the supervisor they said its not possible.
                      On speaking to the dealer simultaneously he still passes the buck on to the matufacturer saying its their problem.

                      Till now my machine had not been replaced neither i have recieved any call from them confirming the same.
                      PLease advice hwta to do, my money has been wasted. Please do not trust whirlpool products as they are cheats with wrong commitments and faulty products and poor customer service.

                      Whirlpool — Faulty product and lousy customer service

                      I had gifted my parents who live in Kochi a Whirlpool refrigerator 310L-CLX-IBUG-Titanium 4S assuming that you will deliver the world class product and service that you claim to offer. I guess this was many one of the few mistakes that I have committed in my life.

                      We had purchased the fridge on the 19th June 2010 from Gopu Nandilath showroom in Ernakulam. Things went on fine for a month and now the fridge has a leak and water is incessantly dripping from the fridge, to makes things even worse the bottle shelf of the fridge has broken too.

                      After repeatedly calling up the customer care,latest complaint No being 2401 which was done on the 5th of this month an ignorant and arrogant engineer paid a visit to my parents residence and claimed that the reason for the leak was due to temperature being kept in low [it was between 3 to 5 as recommended in the manual] and reset the same to 1, at that temperature I guess the best use I can use the fridge is to stack clothes.

                      Moreover my parents were informed that the bottle shelf is not covered in the warranty as its made of plastic, also that we would have to go and purchase the part and have the same fixed and your service engineers will not procure this item. To put an icing on the cake, your worthless engineer stuck paper between the doors of the fridge probably to close the gap that your wonderful product may have.

                      My parents are retired and quite old and honestly do not deserve this kind of lousy service that you guys have to offer.

                      I sure the 'helpdeskindia' email id is created on the Whirlpool website is a farce so that the same can be displayed on the website like a trophy.

                      To say the least the Whirlpool so called customer service aligns perfectly with your company name 'Whirlpool', once the customer purchases a product he is stuck with it and has to fight tooth and nail for anything and everything.

                      Refrigerator — DELAY IN DELIVERY

                      I HAVE ORDERED ONE LG REFRIDGERATOR FROM AMEERPET BRANCH IN HYDERABAD ONE WEEK AGO. IT WAS SAID THAT IT WILL BE DELIVERED WITH IN 48 HOURS AND IT WAS NOT DELIVERED YET.                         We have been using 165L Whirlpool refrigerator for 7 years now and luckily we have had no issues with the refrigerator till September 2008. But we observed less cooling and things were getting spoilt so decided to call ‘authorised’ service engineer rather than handling over the refrigerator to free-lance mechanic. And there was our mistake.

                        Inspite of repeated calls, and many promises that an engineer will call and visit you, we did not get any call from any service engineer. Then, we approached the service centre through our association with Panan Electronics at Andheri and finally we could get an engineer visit our home. The engineer replaced a few parts and fitted an external stabilizer/ temp control unit charging Rs. 1800/ . In spite of doubt raised by in-laws, he made them pay for it saying “otherwise refrigerator won’t work’…and in spite of fitting it, refrigerator still did not work.

                        Second engineer obliged to visit us after repeated calls again, repaired refrigerator (which still is not working properly and everything kept in is getting frozen), took the external temp control unit, promised to return money and has not responded for past 3 months. On all repeated calls to service centre (atleast 30 calls till today), every time we get the answer from operator 'Pallavi' that boss not there and I need to take his permission for amount as small as Rs 950/-.

                        More than this amount + two time service charges, what is pinching is that the attitude of taking for granted and looting money by a well-known and reputed brand.

                        Whirlpool Refrigerator — Cheating in the name of service

                        I gave a complaint to whirlpool states that the compressor not working. the service fellow came and attended by replacing over load protector for compressor (which is availalbe in the market for for Just Rs.50/-) and charged Rs 650/- for spare part and 280 for labour charges, which can be done by the street end repairer by just charging Rs.100/-. the worst ever cheating by an MNC in the name of after sales service. I have decided to nevver purchase any whirl pool product here after in my life.

                          As per my previous mail which i send ed u in the last summer regarding the problems in my split ac i have raise the complaint that this ac is not working properly, and after too much struggle i could get a service person which was not batter than a road side electrician as per his appearances and the knowledge, from your company. he check my AC and could not understand the actual problems in it and decided that there is some problems in the compressor.and finally he replaced the same and charged some RS 1000. for the same but withing the ten days i got the same kind of problems in my ac of non cooling .

                          normally in winter no body use their ac and in this season when i started my ac, i am facing the same kind of problem. for that i dialed yr customer care on 16 april, and lodged a complaint but as per the traditions of your company no body turn back.i have called at least 100 time but not getting through, finally on 30 april i get connected with your customer care and lodged another complaint DL[protected] ...THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE HAS PROMISED ME THE ENGINEER WILL VISIT ME IN NEXT 2 HOUR BUT AGAIN THE SAME STORY NO BODY VISITED US . AFTER THAT ON 1 MAY I AGAIN CALLED YOUR CUSTOMER CARE NO, WHICH IS [protected] AND HAD A WORD WITH MR DEEPAK AND AGAIN GOT A COMPLAINT NO

                          whirlpool/AC — WORST SERVICES BY WHIRLPOOL

                          I Purchased a AC from Magic Home SCO -308 , Sector- 35 B , Chandigarh for our pooja house ( Gurdwara) which is not working from day one and the dealer had given the AC which was manufactured in Year 2007 and we purchased the item on 6 July 2009 . After calling so many times about cooling problem and he did not listen for single time . This dealer should be penalised for such stupid behaviour and cheating.

                          Whirlpool A.C — Worst After Sales Service even after charging

                          I purchased a split A.C of 1 tonn considering the market reputation of Whirlpool in April 2010. We did not use the A.C much during the first year but still called for normal service in March, 2011 (Within the warranty) by calling at [protected]. A guy came and did his work. We are not skilled enough to judge his work and we trusted him with his work and the brand he was representing. After almost 20-30 days, when summers really started we turned the A.C on for the first time after the servicing was done only to find that it was not cooling at all. We again called [protected] but they neglected us by saying that our A.C was now out of warranty and we will have to pay to get any service. We felt cheated as we had not used the A.C even once after the servicing was done and it was working fine before that. After 2 days we had a medical emergency at our home and we again called [protected] and told them to make our A.C work and we were ready to even pay due to bad circumstances. A person, Dev Kumar Sharma (contact no. [protected]) came to our house, took 1200 INR (without any receipt) and said that he had repaired the A.C. Since we were already occupied by the situation at our home, we were not in position to ask for receipt or check the A.C. but after 2 days again, it is not working properly. We again felt cheated. We are not getting the services when someone is not well at our home and we need it the most, even after paying Rs 1200. Nobody is listening to our complain. We even called Dev Kumar Sharma (contact no. [protected]) and reminded him by calling again, but for no good. Big companies like Whirlpool are not only bringing bad name to their reputation in the market but also playing with the trust of their customers by offering such a poor service to us.
                          We should not have paid in the first place, but still we did because we needed the A.C due to medical emergency and it is still not working.

                          I request that a strict action be taken against them so that they are forced to repair our A.C,to bring justice to customers like us.

                          I have purchased Washing machine product in 2010 as I heard good about Whirlpool as a international brand. Initially services was good so I have purchased 2 split AC as well after some time both are registered with my Mobile number 91-[protected]. please find attach AMC contact paper for your reference.
                          Last one year I must say I am really got frustrated with worst customer care services and your customer service centre became customer harassing centre. If you can see my complain log then you can see one of my complain log got resolved in more than one months’ time.
                          In regards to current complain that I have made on 7th August 2015 regard an error was coming during running of this machine and it was “E1” error. You service centre guy came and done some work but same problem started coming next day then he came again and said carbon issue in connector and as connector can’t be replace so he cut the connector and make direct connection in wire of wiring system. After this when he tried to run the machine then one spark kind of sound came and machine stop functioning and power stop coming into PCB system. He said then he will be coming tomorrow with new PCB and will change the same and leave machine in open condition without proper covering.
                          I have again made complain to the customer care as he didn’t visited next day and was not taking call as well, they said this will be done in a day or two. Last week your service centre guy of Sarita vihar service centre Mr Alok and Mr Sunny from Customer care centre promised to me that this problem or replacing PCB will be done on 17th August 2015. But neither I got a call or customer care or service centre and neither any service engineer visited for the same. Then 18th August I called again customer care and spoken with Mr. Sunny again and he promised me that this will be done on 19th August 2015.
                          Today is 19th August Service engineer visited and replaced PCB but found that whole wiring of machine got busted because of connector disconnection and direct wiring connection. He said as wiring seriously damaged and it can’t be rectified and this only can replace. He called Mr. Alok of service centre and he started making excuse and said you need to pay 50% of amount for replacement or depreciation mode.
                          So my problem still remain same and I have again called customer care for help but still not received any response. I am getting harassed by customer care and service centre guy for my only mistake that is I have purchased Whirlpool products.
                          This is because whirlpool don’t have any check and balance system to monitor service centre services to make their service more customer centric.
                          I will never going to purchase any product from whirlpool or recommended any one for whirlpool products and I will take legal route now for all harassment.
                          Looking forward for your positive response although chances are rare.

                            I bought a brand new Whirlpool Washing machine sensation deluxe– 6.5kg from Bajaj Electronics Hyderabad on 16.3.2008. The machine got repair very frequently and as per the service engineer suggestion (‘’He told us that sensation deluxe is a failure model, so Whirlpool stopped the production, so in future getting a spare part too is very very difficult, so he asked us to go for a replacement and suggested us to go for Professional PUD651-6.5kg’’) since we didn’t have no other go we paid Rs 4740/- extra and got Professional PUD651 – 6.5kg as a replacement on 13.8.08. Which means the was replaced within 5 months. Even with PUD651 we are having so many issues. Then we got transferred to Coimbatore in 2009. Till date we are facing lot of issues with PUD651, and we are getting on time customer service form Pinnacle InfoTech (Local Authorized service center), every 2 months once we have to lock a call and wait wait and wait for days together for the service engineer to come and later none of the complaints were solved atleast within a day. Every time when we lock a complain call with Pinnacle they send us a Useless Engineer (Name – Parthiban) who has never solved even a single issue. Then we have to call Jawahar the manager, then after so many calls they’ll send Zaahir Hussain another service engineer who would somehow solve the issue temporarily. Since we got shifted to Coimbatore till date the I have locked call for the following reasons:
                             Issue in water input motor
                             Door
                             Water output motor
                             Main circuit board
                             Again an Issue in water input
                             User interface board
                             Error signal deep during drain
                             The water input hose leakage – current problem still not resolved
                            Even now there is water leakage from hose so the clothes are not washed properly so we are washing all the clothes.I really wonder how a washing machine could give so many issues within 19 months. Every time we use the machine we are afraid like what would be next issue. Whirl pool washing has made my life miserable instead of making it easy. I am really fed up using PUD651.

                            I would appreciate if I get a fully automatic top loading machine as replacement by solving the issue with a permanent solution. I know it is a monetary loss for me to take front load machine as a replacement. But still I need a permanent solution. I hope you understand the criticality and take speedy steps to resolve my issue ASAP.

                              Hi,

                              Let me hope let this complaint can resolve my defects in the Washing Machine.
                              I have to say the Whirlpool Customer Care executives are not ethical/professional way of responding the queries. I'm one of the victim where my complaint is not properly responded. Still my complaint is open, all most 2 weeks completed after logging a complaint to the Customer care but no one bothered to respond my call.
                              Every time the executives place the call on HOLD without my knowledge and they have a readymade answer in their lips is Sorry/Apologies while answering the customer.
                              I'm fed up with speaking to Customer Care and spoke to their Supervisors (BHANU & PAUL) who doesn't fit to be the Supervisor as per my conversation with both of them.
                              My query is not properly responded and the engineers do not give proper bill for the work they done.
                              I'm sorry to use the word "". Team leader/Supervisor in the Whirlpool = (Square) and the executives are .
                              The Service engineers are not professional they just charge the Service charge without rectifing the defects. I have told very clearly the machine is not working and there is a water leakage. Only one complaint is addressed but not the other.
                              My advice for all those people who reads this complaint not to opt for Whirlpool machine better check out the best brand available in the market.

                              Whirlpool Washing Machine — poor customser care

                              I made a complain about my inlet pipe problem which was misintepreted as outlet pipe a week ago. finally a engineer comes with wrong diagnosis and doing nothing goes back saying will be back the next day with required material. when he didnot turn up i called the customer care again where the concerned person tells me that my complaints has been closed without doing any repair work. i had also taken their well marketed amc for extra 7years but in vain.

                                We have a Whirlpool refrigerator and it stopped cooling around 5 days back. We made a complaint and the engineer from the company came only after 4 days. Yesterday he said that a it is a problem of lekage of gas. So he changed that part and took from us hefty service charges.

                                Now, even after the repairs the problem is not solved and refrigirator is not cooling. Inspite of regular complaints the company officials are not giving a reasonable reply. We feel cheated as we paid the hugely overcharged money and still problem is not solved.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                                  I am Naeem Sheikh from Pune Maharashtra.
                                  I have purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerators on 24 Feb 2009 with 5 Year Warranty from Reliance mart, Kharadi.

                                  There were two things highlighted on this particular model : Fast cooling & no need of stabilizer.

                                  On very second day of purchase I observe that ice was not forming properly and taking lot of time but when I asked reliance mart people they insured me there is no tecnical fault so i told him please log our complaint but he told me you dont worry & i[censored] will feel any problem in future we are here for resolution.

                                  On 18 April09 when my refrigerator stops coolling completely i.e. no cooling & no ice forming then I logged official complain (Complain id:PN[protected]) on whirlpool service centre[protected].First of Mr. Yaseen from service center attended after 2-3 days and told me whirlpool has problem of late ice forming and it cannot be resolved completely .He done some gas filling etc but problem remains as it is continuously.
                                  I one again raised complain (Complain no. PN[protected]), that too was not responded initially for 2-3 days then Mr. Shanka(service centre)came and told me that we will replace compressor and asked me to purchase stabilizer.When I told him that on you refrigrator it is written that it can withstands 160-260 V & stabilizer is not required then he told me that it is only written for attracting customers .

                                  When I directly contacted Mr. Manoj/Mr. Yusuf service officers directly to replace either freeze as they could not able to rectify the problem, they simply denied .

                                  I am daily calling customer care from that day onwards and according to them new compressor is not available.
                                  Now they are neither solving cooling problem nor replacing freeze.

                                  Pl. help me out.

                                    I ahd purchsed a Whirpool 285 liters EELITE refirdgerator = Model No: 6578. On 23.04.2009, two plastic door shelves suddenly cracked and fell down. The folding shelf also had cracked earlier. I went to a store selling Whirlpool products to buy replacement for the above mentioned broken parts. I was directed to their Service Center at Nirala Nagar, Lucknow. I went there and was informed that I should log a complaint with the Customer Care and then a so called Service Engineer would pay a paid visit to my place and then the required replacements would be delivered to me. I logged a complaint with the Customer Care vide No: LKO[protected] dated 23.04.2009 at 12:30 pm and also informed them that I had taken an maintenance contract upto 26.05.2010 vide “Whirlpool Home Care Plan” Receipt No: HGO2 008761 The customer care personal was adamant that I would have to pay the visit charges as well as the charges for the broken parts. I had no choice but had to agree regardless of the maintenance contract. However, even after 6 days no action has been taken. I am following up with the customer care regularly but am only getting assurances. I cannot understand as to:
                                    i. Why I visit charges would have to be paid for such spares as bottle shelves
                                    ii. If charges are to be paid for such type of spares then I presume that there is something technical involved in these spares and that their proper installation are essential to the proper functioning of the fridge and
                                    iii. If such s the case then the cost of replacement of these spares should be covered by the maintenance contract.
                                    iv. If the company cannot supply the spares within a reasonable time then why is it holding a monopoly over its supply
                                    v. What is worth and use of my maintenance contract
                                    vi. When shall I get the spares
                                    vii. Why should I have to pay for such deficient service - I have paid for it by taking the maintenance contract
                                    viii. The maintenance contract entitles me for so called “Preventive Heath Checks”. No one bothered to do so from 26.04.204 till date.
                                    ix. Why should I not seek redressal for the deficiency in service, mental harassment and loss of time in a proper forum e.g. the State or National consumer forum, as shall be advised to me by my advocate.
                                    I am lodging this complaint and am also informing you that I am also moving the appropriate forum for proper and suitable action and compensation.

                                      I have a very bad experience in getting my Whirlpool AC repaired. Firstly after much market research and on advice of my dealer I had purchased this Whirlpool Magicool Airconditioner 1.5 TON. Eversince the machine has been installed in April 2006 it has been consistently cooling till the last summer of 2008. Seeing excellent service record of Whirlpool I opted for a 5 year service contract with the company on 08.11.06.
                                      After this contract I started getting a bad taste of Whirlpool Service. Whenever I lodged complaint with the Customer Service Desk the same person arrives from the franchisee. His name is Mr. Rabindranath Sarkar. And is only answer to my all problems is get a Whorlpool stabilizer installed. Can somebody justify his irrational dealing? I already have 3 more AC’s and a Whirlpool Refrigerator too. And above all everything works well on the same current without any stabilizer. Now whenever I had made a complain nobody turns up to repair the machine because I have requested to send a new person to attend my fault. My last complain was made on 20.04.09 complain no. KL[protected] and my customer ID is 2835722. Please help me in resolving my problem.

                                        I have purchased one Whirlpool 260 Ltr.(FUSION - New Royal Titanium 4S) from M/s. Sales India Ltd., Ashram Road, Ahmedabad on 23/7/2008 wide Invoice No. 21952, Chalan No. 11646 Dt. 23/7/2008.
                                        My Customer ID is Ah/C/07*08/44203.
                                        During the last eight month, I have lodge the complaint 4/5 times, regarding the working of indicators, different cooling levels & main door.
                                        Their technician has repaired the indicator twice and once replaced it.
                                        Again same problems as previous.
                                        A engineer from Service center, M/s. Max Info Service, Ahmedabad, has visited and advised to replace the door. He talked to his senior and assured us to change the door with in 4/5-days.
                                        After 10-Days, still I am facing the same problem.
                                        To day I have contacted all responsible persons, as they told me, but answers are not satisfactory.
                                        I have contacted Mr. Nirav Modi, Ms. Kinjal, Mr.Narsibhai, Mr. Renik, all from M/s. Max Info Services, Ahmedabad. I don't know, who is really responsible person for my complaint?

                                        Rather, I am the only RESPONSIBLE to purchase such a INTERNATIONAL BRAND with POOREST SERVICES.
                                        At this level I came to conclusion that this is a DEFECTIVE PIECE OF INTERNATIONAL BRAND
                                        and I am the only that luckiest person to hold it.

                                        What I have to do now? How much time I have to complain again and again?

                                        Please, do the needful immediate.

We have purchased a fridge from M/s Godrej co. and it has worked very well for past 15 years but the bloody Whirl pool double door i ad lot problems with in 3 months and nobody responded .Bettter not to purchase this coy brand firdges.!!!
