I have been trying to get service on a fridge within its warranty peroid, from November 2008. There have been many useless interactions with this company, Whirlpool - so anyone reading this, do avoid stepping into the Whirlpool that sucks you down down down!
I'm involving the consumer guidance society of india - let's see where that leads.
It's all very disgusting, dealing with companies like this. I have mailed the MD, Arvind Uppal, several times. He doesnt bother to reply. How anyone can behave with customers in this way, and that too during a recession, is shocking!
This is my latest email to him:

Hello Mr Uppal
Perhaps you couldnt care less what happens to me as your unfortunate customer. However, as I am going to follow this up with the consumer guidance people, you should know where I stand vis a vis your company.
On 31 March, your people finally promised me that in 10 days they would have my 340 L Whirlpool fridge repaired (note: i am under warranty, and i have been chasing, begging and following up this matter since 2 November 2007).
Today, facing summer, a house full of guests, and a tiny highly inadequate replacement fridge for the last one full month, I called up Mr Rajesh Verma, Mr Ganesh Rao - Mr Rao said to me, at 12 in the afternoon, that he could offer that I pay Rs 7-8000 and get a new 340 litre Whirlpool fridge. He said he would get back to me with a firm offer on this, and in the meanwhile I should check out the models at any dealer.
I proceeded to do this, but to my surprise I found that the 340 litre fridge is now 72 inches tall. The one I had was 67 inches, and anything taller does not fit in the slot in my kitchen. What does fit, is your new 405 litre fridge. Also, the 310 litre fridge fits, but we cannot do with reduced capacity. My husband called Mr Rao and told him that this was a problem. Mr Rao promised to call back to tell us how much price difference we should pay.
Another option for us was to take back our malfunctioning fridge, and simply live with its problems.
Of course there was no call from Mr Rao. At 7 pm, I called Mr Rao again - he told me he still had no idea about the prices etc, and had not been able to check. By this time, we had got so very fed up of this whole sickening interaction with Whirlpool, that we told him, ok, return our malfunctioning fridnge. And let us put an end to this. Upon which we were told that 'it would take 2 more days' because the person Rajest Verma, at whose house the fridge is, is away.
I tried to call Mr Pradyut to ask him why the fridge was in someones house, but Mr Pradyut, holding up the flag of your company, told me basically to shut up and put the phone down. His words were: "No, Im not in a position to help you - Mr Rao is handling the matter. Do what you like."
You really are a bunch of inefficent and rude people, arent you?
What can I do about the fact that a) 5 months and my fridge saga has continued b) you have made no quick and solid amends by giving me a new piece - for which I am supposed to pay extra money c) now even my malfunctioning fridge is locked up in someones house and not available to me, my 4 person family, and my guests.
One of the reasons I am happy that I am not taking a replacement fridge from you is that at least I wont be forced into a continued relationship with your company. Fortunately there are many better and more committed players in the market, and I will be happy to spend my money on their products, as also share my negative experience with Whirlpool with them. By the way, anyway, I have avoided your company whilst buying all other appliances.
However, I do want my fridge back, as I dont think I want to give up and give in so easily - not when a company behaves like this.

Such comapnies deserve to just fold up. But it's sad that consumers are treated this way. Actually, why did you go for their product? YOu should not touch Whirlpool - didnt you know that?
Even I have brought 340litre fridge whirpool but everytime we complain they say we will rectify which they fail to do. in 2007 I have brought the fridge just 3years old. This is the first time we are facing problem in fridge though we have used kelvinator & godrej from past 30years.There is no customer satisfaction for the product.
In what way consumer forum can help? Please let me know.
WHIRPOOL AND ITS SERVICE PARTNER SEVEN STAR SERVICE WORST COMBINATION.

In last two years five times there were issues, PCB replaced three times. This clearly indicates they are not replacing genuine new tamper proof products instead they replace repaired ones.

Almost Rs 8000 was spent by way of spares and AMC. please do not fall prey to this combination.

    COOLING PROBLEM

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    I bought WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR (310 ICE BERG) MODEL No. 9837 as on dated: 10/03/06 from M/s. Galaxy ( A Unit of S. R. Marketing) 47-10-7, Near Diamond Park, Dwarakanagar, Visakhapatnam. But it is not working properly since from the date of purchase. We made complaint and one person came from whirlpool service centre, Vizag to see the problem and He is unable to rectify that problem and He is charged Rs....

    I have Whirlpool T-50 washing machine and I have its 2 years AMC also. I had registered my complaint on 19th Feb. Almost 2 months now but still the machine is not repaired. Several calls made to customer care and Pune service center have gone down the drain. I even contacted 'Rajesh Verma', Pune service center incharge. But he passed on the phone to his seceratary and she promised to get back to me in 1 hr with the status but never called back. Everybody I contacted promises to call back but never does. I don't know now whom to approach. My Customer id is 5186605. Please help. Thank God, I have just one whirlpool product.

    This is not first time. The customer service had been a pain right from the installation time.

    I dont know whether Whirlpool bothers about such complaints even. On whirlpool website http://www.whirlpoolindia.com/, I added complaint online which automatically sends mail and i got the mail bounced back message with following mail delivery error.

    "The following message to <[protected]@whirlpool.com> was undeliverable"

    We have reached the the height of frustration. Please suggest what to do further on this. Is there anyone who can take action on these whirlpool people? I think this is a fraud whirlpool is doing with its customers. To sell they beg and once sold they fraud. "".

      My double door fridge has been non functional since 14.06.10 as informed by the engg. after inspection since the compressor has stopped working.MY fridge is in the warrenty period.Even though I have paid for all the charges, yet till date my problem has not been solved since the part ( compressor ) is not available in my city-patna more than a month as said by the patna service centre.IM REALLY SURPRISED TO SEE SUCH A POOR SERVICE FROM THE COMPANY IN THE TECHNICAL & DEVELOPED WORLD AND THAT TOO FOR SUCH A MAJOR PART.IM REALLY UNSATISFIED TO SEE SUCH NEGLIGENCY FROM YOUR END.

          Dear All,
          I purchased 230 Ltr freeze from purohit appliances, Anand, on 23/04/2004 with seven years protection plan warranty. Compressor of the freeze failed twice since the purchase till today within this four and half years. I worried for the quality of the compressor company provided. Why it is happen frequently? Is the Refrigerator given to me is faulty piece? Should the compressor warranty is now start from whenever they replaced ? From the service centre of Whirlpool, Anand compressor is replaced but for that they charge me Rs 700+225 on 25/03/2009, Even though Compressor is in warranty. Service engineer told us these are the charges for the Gas refilled that is in compressor. If compressor is in warranty why should I pay for the gas which are in the compressor? Kindly reply me on my mobile or E-mail. Is by doing this way warranty and quality of compressor are you not cheating the peoples and making the money from this type of the businees ? I hope you kindly revert back to me as early as possible.

          Remark : As I have warranty of the whole compressor of seven years why should I pay for the anything that are come inside of the compressor ?

            I bought my machine 2 years ago.Machine came with a problem of water switch n level something.When the demo man came, he told us machine is ohk.N then I packed the machine n kept it, as i was going to US.Now, when i came back from US n shifted to the new house 6 months ago, I opened my machine n started.As told by the demo man that there is no problem then too i was not satisfied .I called the service man n told this problem.He said, "for this, I have to change something n it would be costing you 1500."N this was the same demo man who came earlier n told there is no problem..Then too, I have given 1500 Rs to him to get the things done.After this in a month, there was a problem with suspension of the machine.They told us to get the things done in 2 days, but it took 13 days..From the day I had purchase this machine, every alternate day there is some problem n i get stucked with the dirty clothes n my money is wated like water...

              Poor Product Performance

              We had purchased a Whirlpool Delight Refrigerator Model No.10017 DLX on 22 Oct 2006. We had purchased product from a Reputed Company with the purpose of getting good quality product that long laster with fewer problems. During installation, their representative suggested to buy their stabilizer for protection against voltage fluctuation.               After receving the Letter from Bajaj Finance about The Loan Clearence a sum of Rs 1030.00 has been deducted from my account. I have recieved the letter on 31/01/2009 and amount has been deducted on 05/02/2009. I do have approached the Incharge person of this in Bangalore and they promised that my money will be resubmited by 1 month but its already more than a month. If withinn 1 week i dont hear anything from your side i will file a complaint in Consumer Court by submitting the Letter which is issued by Bajaj Finance and also the My last month Payslip which iam aatching along with this mail. Also i have not recived my checks from Bajaj Finance which is provided at the time of Applying for EMI.

              I request you to Send my all the documents which i submited during the time of Applying EMI and also Resubmit my Last Month EMI which has been deducted wrongly. This will be a last mail were iam requesting as i stated above if i dont here from you within 1 week i will file a Case in Consumer Court with the Letter which is issued in my name.

                dear sir/ madam,
                Sub: Regarding refrigerator of Whrilpool, which I bought on14.04.2005 (Compressor under 7 year warranty as also refrigerator under comprehensive Home care Plan No. HG[protected].
                The first complaint lodged vide no DN[protected] on 18/01/09 and I was promised that engineer will visit next day. Time was also given. Phone no. and address were updated. Nobody turned up nor any body bothered to call back. I called later about four times, every time same routine repeated but no body attended to the complaint.
                On 3rd Feb when called up I was informed that engineer visited but the door was locked on 28th Jan, 09 so complaint was closed. though nobody had visited which later on transpired as No engineer turned up, but the complaint was treated as closed. I was given a new complaint number on 3rd Feb 09 and a new set of promise. A new complaint no. DN[protected] was generated thus, though first complaint was never attended to.
                ultimately after about two months of pursuasion and several telephone calls an engineer visited about15 days back and he took the voltage stabliser for test/ check up at service center promising that it will be returned or replaced if faulty, within three days.
                Now about 12 days gone, severalcalls to service center and the engineer Sh. Monu, the voltage stabilizer is not returned nor replaced.
                this is not the first time such experience with whirlpool. i think it has the worst kind of customer service back-up in place and customer ends up harrased for undue delays on account of non availability of spares or no-visits by their engineers. that is even when the machine is under warranty, absolutely perfect reason not to feel “Delighted Owner” of whirlpool products!

                I sincerely hope that my complaint shall be attended to immediately without any further notices or requests/ reminders from my side.

                  I have purchased Auto Washing Machine F65 Steel ( Whirlpool ) on 26/4/08 ...

                  Complete Front Electronic Panel got changed after 2 Months ...
                  Again Complete Front Electronic Panel got changed yesterday ( 18/3/09 ) ...

                  As Machine will be completing 01 year .. i have been told to pay Rs 22, 00 for extended warantee for next two years .. as parts will be replaced free of charge ...

                  This means co has full guarantee of machine break down from time to time ...

                  I have paid cash down payment of Rs 14, 500 / -...

                  As a customer i feel completely CHEATED ... & i have requested all my friends / Relatives / Known persons not to buy any product's from WHIRLPOOL ...

                    I had purchased Ebony Deluxe machine from Tata Croma (Ishanya mall), Yerwada, Pune. During demo it was found to be defective piece (PCB problem) & we were promised replacement with-in 3 days. 10 days have passed since then, but we didn't get the replacement. When inquired at whirlpool centre, we were told that the machine will not be replaced, only PCB can be replaced. I am not willing to do it, as I had paid for new washing machine & won't like to get repaired one. This has been very pathetic & disappointing service provided by leading brand such as whirlpool. I request you to look into the issue.

                    Whirlpool — not replacing defective washing machine

                    Hi,
                    On 25thjuly2010, i bought one washing machine (whirlpool semiautomatic) from OPEN WORLD (Dawar International Electronics Pvt. Ltd.) shop situted at 5/5,jacobpura, gurgaon. but unfortunately there was water leakeg problme, till now Open World neither replace washing machine nor change the defective part of washing machine.

                      On 17 Jan 09, I purchased a Top loader whirlpool washing machine. Since the first time I have used the machine it has been making a grinding and clapping noise. To me this is not what a brand new machine should sound like.

                      I went back to the company where I bought the machine and reported the matter. We immediately contacted the whirlpool help line and complained about this. I was assured that my complaint whould receive immediate attention and that I would receive feedback within 3 day. Since then two weeks have past and still no one has contacted me.

                      I have phoned twice to check on my complaint but every time I get the response that the matter is being attended to. How long is this going to take?

                      At this stage I am to afraid to use my washing machine because any further use might damage the machine.

                      I can't wait any longer and will resort to reporting this matter to the Aus consumer helpline if I don't get an answer soon.

                      My customer / case no is 244744. I excpect that this matter will be resolved before I have to take further action to get my case to be attended to.

                      Whirlpool has always prided itself to deliver excellent service and products. If this is the case why are you not adhering to what you pride yourself to be.

                      I am very unhappy with and dissapointed in Whirlpool.

                        We have got whirlpool fully automatic washing machine which is covered under AMC. It is not working for the past one week. We have made complaint already. Just service person came and he said some PCB board to be replaced and it seems there is no stock at present. We are finding difficult in washing the clothes for the past one week. There is no proper response and the reason is part is not in stock. Is the PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE?

                        Whirlpool -Washing Mech — no proper service

                        I am loyal customer of whirlpool products and have series of your
                        products from fridge to washing machine but I had a very bad experience
                        due to after sales service, my washing machine was not working properly,
                        as i am still in warranty period, i have been constanty call u r service center people for the same.
                        unfortunately if the person call he gives his own sweet time, wher in we are not avil as we are working
                        people. even after request they dont agree

                          HD[protected] - This is my complaint number which had been filed abouta month back with whirlpool helpdesk. My refrigerator has conked off in this mid summer and i ahave been desparately trying to contact the service desk for replacement of the refrigerator, after one of their representatives came, checked and promised replacement of the fridge since its under warranty. But after that no one has turned up and despite me calling almost everyday, no one gets back after making false promises.. this is perhaps the worst experience i have had till date in all my helpdesk experiences. I do not want to vent and keep quite. I want a solution to my problem and i will reach the whirlpool headquarters in US if i have to to get my problem resolved!! They make a fool of customers to sell their products with false promises and great service facade and when they sell their mediocrre product they completely forget their customer. How selfish can it get?? In this world of cut throat competition, no one can get away with non-service attitude. and they definitely will not !!

                            On 6 feb I made a complain of not working fridge. On 7feb service engineer visit and charges over Rs 200 for service charge and Rs 300 for changing relay. While in user guide it is told that we have to pay Rs 100 as service charge. On the eve of next day fridge again got the same problem. And the engg. is out of station for three days.                             Hi,

                            I bought a Whirlpool 405 Ltr. Refrigirator from e-Zone Delhi (Vikas Marg) branch on 5th March 2009. They promised to deliver the product to me by 7th March 2009. I told them to deliver the product to me on Sunday 8th March 2009.

                            Company promised me to deliver the product on March 8th 2009 and I got the confirmation call from their warehouse on Saturday 7th March 2009 that I will get the refrigerator in between 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday 8th March 2009.

                            I sold out my old refrigerator on Sunday morning and waited for the product to be received in the evening. At 2:30 PM I just called warehouse and ask for the status then I came to know that because of some Transport vehical problem it had not been dispatched and they will confirm me the status in 5-10 minutes by calling me back.I did not receive any call from them and after 30 minutes I called warehouse again and they confirmed that because of No Entry in our area in Delhi Transport Vehical will reach there in the night and I will get the refrigerator by 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM in between and people will call me.

                            I did not receive any call and at 8:00 PM when I called the showroom for status I got the answer that because Vehical was been caught because of No Entry Area they did not deliver my product and took that back.I told showroom that I had not received a single call today and only I have been following up to get my product with them. They should have called me at least once to inform me the status of delivery.

                            First if they knew that our area in Delhi is a No Entry area and vehical can not enter in area before 6:00 PM why they promised that I will get the delivery of my product between 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I told showroom that since this is a festival time and summer have been started without refrigerator everything will be in vain by tomorrow and since I have to go to my Native place how will I take the delivery on Monday 9th March and I will have to change all my plans. When I asked them to cancel the order they told me that it will take at least 15-20 days to return your money back.If I would not have bought the product from e-Zone I could have bought the product from any electronics showroom on the same rates to which they could have delivered to me within 1-2 hours.

                            e-Zone showroom was not able to help me at all and they told me that I have to bear this till tomorrow because of their mistake and Refrigerator will be delivered to me by tomorrow by 4:00 PM positively. I am not sure how will they deliver the refrigerator to me by 4:00 PM if the area is a No Entry Zone till 5:00 PM but they have promised me this and it seems they were just rationalizing their mistakes and want me to bear everything because of their bad services.

                            I am not sure if the Refrigerator will also be actual which has been promised to me or of the latest make and model as I should get. They should not provide me from their old stock. The promises of this company seems ot be unbeliveable and they do not complete on what they say.

                            These type of incidences keep on happening around us. There are certain basic reasons for which we are not being treated like the consumers are treated in other advanced countries. Some of them are:

                            1 - The lack of BUSINESS ETHICS, which leads to such practice of false promises.
                            2 - The lack of effective RULES and REGULATIONS which can protect consumers' rights by the government, this leads to the shopkeepers and suplliers' careless behaviour even if they are the defaulters.
                            3 - TELLING LIES, 'pyar me aur vyapar me sab kuchh jayaz hai', unless our sales counter staff or marketing persons are taught to base their business prostpects on 'customers' service' rather than 'befooling customers' they will not realize that the former option can lead to progress and the other can lead to bad-publicty. Poor education can be held responsible for this.

                            Is the fridge working properly now? Im also thinking to buy Whirlpool RT405 li from e zone in Mumbai
                            Pethetic Product & Service of Whirlpool. We had puchased whirlpool AC, 11106 WPL WINDOW AC- 1 TON(WAWR12G20) on 28/04/2008. 2 Free Services were promised. The first pethetic thing was that after the first dry service, instead of our reoeated reminders the wet service was not offered. The Second and the most petthetic thing was that within a very short period of our purchase( 28/04/08) on 20/09/09, there was no cooling in the product. When we complained of this to your service center, they sent a executive named Hardeep Singh on 23/09/09, our service request No:17692, who inspected your product and said that there is no gas in the product and had taken Rs394/- on account of visit charge and told a further expence of Rs.1800/- for the filling of gas. Now the Company need to see the Quality of the product and the quality of its services offered. In such a short duration your product is demanding refilling of the gas. Instead of our repeated our free wet service is not offered to us. On visiting instead of compensating you charge a visit charge. I request the concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter and do the needfull or else I will be forced to knock the doors of the consumer court as well as publish the matter in the press.
                            Thanx for the informartion. I was on the way to purchase a new TV from Ezone. I will rather buy it from my local electronics shop and be a happy customer. This is what is called corporate culture in our country amd our government wants to stop all retail shops to make way for their rich business friends by making such chain stores.
                            Ezone is known for not fulfilling its delivery commitments. They take money but do not deliver asper agreed commitments. in india even consumer court system is weak hence consumer keeps suffering. I bough tow laptops but two past they did not deliver. No body shold patronize them since they are bad service providers.

                                I am using Whirlpool Refrigerators. Recently, I faced an issue and called up Whirlpool Customer care in Hyderabad. Ticket Number : HD[protected].

                                One Engineer came and taken away one parts and made the whole Refrigerators.down. Still now the parts are not replaced.

                                Everytime I call the Cutomer Care ..they said .."Tomorrow the Engineer will come " . But 'Tomorrow never comes :(

                                I called up Gurgoan office :[protected] . But no joy.

                                What is the next course of action ??

                                Whirpool Iceberg (Refrigerator) — Transfer Of AMC Contract

                                I had taken an AMC contract (from 7 Star Services in Mumbai ) when i purchased the whirpool refrigerator from Mumbai . In meantime i shifted my base from Mumbai to Agra, I wanted to avail the AMC services in Agra and contacted the serivce centre in Agra. On Checking my AMC no in your site I was told by the concerned Serice centre that AMC was not registered in the system as the same was not transfered from Mumbai to Agra location.I contacted your concerned service partner in Mumbai ( 7 Star Services) and they told me to contact the customer care of Whirpool India to reslove the problem. I immdiately contacted the customer care of Mumbai, they told me contact the Customer Care of Delhi And in turn the Delhi customer told me contact the customer care of Agra. No assurance was given by any of the customer care because each of them was passing the onus on others. Even after making 15-20 calls no reponse was give to me . Once even the customer care of mumbai told that they will manually give my transfer request of AMC to North Region which will take 2 days and didnt not give any complaint no. I contacted them after two days to find out that nothing had been done and gave me the No of miss Neha in Mumbai.
                                I am very frustated and upset to find out the whole situation.

                                If the same is not being done in future i suggested not to take an AMC contract and even buy an Whirpool refrigerator to Customers.

                                Service is one thing which should associated with brand of the product.Company should ensure that after sale services provided to customer should be foolproof.

                                I also own a whirlpool(iceberg-340 lit) fridge.It is 2yrs old.the compr has failed .It is of sub std qty and involves costly mtc.one should not buy any whirlpool stuff.
                                I brought a Whirlpool Refrigerator five years ago and every year it is giving problems. The thermostat has been changed five times in five years (Chinese made thermostat). The authorised agent for repairs at Patparganj Delhi does not give any positive answer to our queries. Now their Engineer has told that there is a problem with the Compressor and it needs to be changed. There is now another twist to this story. The technician came with the compressor and said that the fridge should have been put off for atleast 12 hours before they can start the job which nobody told us. It took him 2 hours to reach my place from within my locality. If employees are like this then a day will come when Whirlpool will be history - No point in having Kajol and Ajay Devgan as their brand ambassdors. This is sheer loot. I have a similar experience with my washing machine also.

                                Please do not buy any product with the brand name whirlpool.

                                I WAS USING WHIRLPOOL MICROWAVE FOR THE LAST 3 AND HALF YEARS. LAST OCT 2008 MY MICROWAVE WENT OUT OF ORDER. I HAD ALREADY AKEN SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THE COMPANY. . Whirlpool Engineer came to install it, which he didnt able to, he tried to fix the problem which he didnt able to.                                 sir, i have purchased a whirlpool air conditioner .8 tonn from chabra agencies at25/04/07.After repeated complaints at job sheet on there free services for frequent tripping of compressor. There service engineer Mr Monu always says the problem is due to voltage fluctuations instead of replacing it.
                                Now I has deposited it in there service centre" SHREYA COOLING CORPORATION complaint no LK[protected] "giving service charge Rs 400 today.Now they dont want to listen anything and asked for another Rs 1200 for refilling of compressor instead of replacing it against manufacturing defect in guarantee
                                Please look into that matter and instruct them to replace my unit or my compressor pathetic after sales services.

                                The services of Whirpool is really pathetic. They have not learned to know the dynamics of "Service" in India. I would like to understand that "Service Organisation" and recomment their CEO to spend money in their training properly.
                                They have made the systems probably not using them properly. This seems that they have replicated these systems from somewhere. I own washing machine and logged its complaint on 13th July. Today is 22nd July and it is not closed.

                                Defective fridge, I lodge complaint to customer care centre, service engineer comes to my house but he is failed to rectified the complaint and further suggest that set the temperature at the low say at 2 but complaint still exist I also write a letter to Mr Shazad Akhtar, Sr Vice President (Sales & Marketing)NIT Faridabad address given in the booklet but till date not receive a response from his side. Customer grievances may be readdress immediately and service engineer may be well versed with the machine to rectified the fault.Please change my refrigerator at once or rectfied the fault without any further delay.

                                We had given complaint to the Voltas service dealer M/s Ramcor, Vijayawada regarding the AC Vertis 1ton spit AC not working on 09.09.2010.
                                service technician came on 14.09.2010 and inspected and informed us there was a problem in fan blower motor problem, then after no one came and today(09.11.2010) another technician came with a motor and checked and said us it was not machining we will order the motor and replace it.

                                is this the way to give service to customer with the break down time of nearly two months and not at recomissioned the ac if it happens at your office or house you will bear i think the worst service and redequeles service in my life and no words to explain the situation so at least take immediate action and do needful to your product and customer.

                                I have locked my call on 12/12/2010. I was informed that on Monday 11:30 customer service executive will come and he will resolve my problem. But today is Tuesday and till yet no customer executive or any person has arrived to check the appliances. The support which you provide is not good support I ever had seen. It is very difficult to explain what problems I am facing.
                                In future I will not recommend any of friends or any person with whom I am familiar with. It is very difficult to deal with this kind of support.

                                My microwave is also rusted within only 15 days. This is totally a fake service which I have ever seen. That’s why most of the people don’t recommend purchasing online.

                                The person who came to gave demo he was also not confirmed with the options of Microwave. He gave demo for only 5 min.

                                When I call the customer support today they just disconnected my call and not even answering my call. If today I will not receive any service from your end. I am helpless now and I will go to consumer court to file a complaint against you people.

                                I have received rejected product in which I cannot even cook rice. This completely a bad service and the product which I am using.

                                My name is Shubham Mittal and i own a 3 door whirlpool protton refrigertaor...
                                It has suddenly stopped cooling...I complained to custumer care at their toll free number and i was told that i will be served in next 24 hors...On the next day i received the following SMS on my mobile phone...

                                " Dear Custumer your call has been allocated to MOHD. ASIF [protected] . Please help him with the exact issueto help us serve you better. "

                                When i called the guy on the abovesaid number he says that he hasn`t been assigned the responsibility for my complaint. He gave me another number [protected] .

                                Now its been three days and i haven`t been served for my complaint.. I keep calling on this number and receive the same answer everyday -"that my man is headed to your house ." The guy tells that his name is Mahesh and refuses to tell his full name.

                                I don`t know that in tthe times of so tight competetion in business how can company survive with prolonged customer dissatisfaction..The service center guys are not responsible...The follow up is worst...

                                Whirlpool Refrigerator — not installed

                                I HAVE PURCHASED WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR IN THE 1ST WEEK OF APRIL2011, TILL DATE THEY HAVE NOT INSTALLED IT AND NOT ISSUED THE WARRANTY CARD.

                                We have purchased a refregenrator from goldy electronics gurgaon of whirlpool company on dated 25/11/2009 bill/Cash memo no. 492 name of owner is sh. Dharampal dhillion resident of secter-5 gurgaon for his daughter and gaurrenty time is one year. But after some time problem in timer genrate. We lodge complaints in the cutomer care of whirlpool india and n: is hr[protected] on 19/08/2010 and hr[protected] on 15/10/2010 and one more complaint was there. But they didnt solve the problem.Now gaurrenty time is over and the same problem is coming again and again. So please protect us from there mentaly harreshment.

                                Whirlpool refrigerator(freeze) — not received

                                I have booked my house hold articles/Whirlpool Refirgerator recept no. 632270 dt 22/05/2011 (GEN FRWDG, NOTE NO-645) from NAGPUR to MUZAFFARPUR. when i booked checked with booking clerk it will be reaching Muzaffarpur in couple of days but till date when i contacted Muzaffarpur parcel office the parcel not yet reached Muzaffarpur and when we check with them about approximate date of parcel reaching Muzaffarpur they are not telling us /rather giving correct information and they are telling us to find out from Nagpur whether they have sent or not if the parcel is sent which date/train no.we dont have the Nagpur parcel office contact no.
                                please help me in giving the Nagpur parecl office no. and if possible give the correct information regarding whether the parcel sent or not

                                Whirlpool — Bad product, service and replacement parts for air condition

                                I bought a Whirlpool air condition on 15/4/09 (model no. WAWR.18G10). Soon after its warranty period (02/09/10), I had to spend total of Rs. 5745/- on it fan motor and power PCB {SRN 831100 and 35088}. Now (20/06/11), it has developed a fault in power PCB again. 'Patel Nagar' Service dealer is quoting me a bill of 4400/- (SRN DL[protected]). After some grievances and asking them for Whirlpool office for personal complaint regarding the parts quality and high parts cost , they reduced it to 3600/-. When I insisted on personal complaint they misguided me to 'Nariana industrial area', where I didn't found any Whirlpool office.

                                I believe in Whirlpool brand, but now I doubt that either I was supplied second grade parts earlier by Patel Nagar service dealer or Whirlpool quality control is very poor, as the same part needs replacement, just after the use of three or four months (as AC wasn't used after October and now just after May and in June). Also, I am shocked that I was misguided by the service dealer and how they reduced the charges on the parts after asking them for Whirlpool office. If I have to put around Rs 5000/- into air condition every season I wont be able to afford Whirlpool air condition and If you, or anyone else has to go through this how will it impact the person.

                                I already tried to contact Whirlpool via their website. But to date no one has contacted or approached me on this matter. I don't think I will be able to buy or recommend any product from this company. Hope no one else have gone through such bad experience.

                                We had brought Whirlpool PROFESSIONAL refrigerator on[protected] in TMC (Visakhapatnam).When the fridge is installed the light is not fixed properly, so we gave compliant on the same day.But till now it is not fixed. Recently we had power cuts in vizag. As soon as the current come the alaram sound of the fridge continously rings.We gave complaint to the sevice center.They told it is a PCB problem.There is no proper response from neither dealer nor service center.I am really sorry, this is very bad service!.

                                I totally agree with these complains. I have a microwave oven which stopped functioning after 2 yrs, now they are tellingthat the spare parts are not available and you should replace it. I think they have the worst service engineers, who arrogant also.Its horrrrrrrrrrrible...
                                very 2 poor service for water purifire .parts not available all concerned mamber are cheater, layer no body take action .

                                so, irequest all my friends donot use whirpool product in future otherwise you this type problems

                                I have a whirlpool water purifier which is under regular filter and cleanupo maintenance contract with them. They were insistent on the signing up of the AMS but never turn up. After repeated calls to them their enggs never turn up at all !!. no point buying Whirlpool products !! Pathetic after sales service !!!

                                I bought a top-end microwave which stopped functioning after a year of service. 1st complaint made in May 2013, after which there were repeated complaints made till date and 3 visits by their engineers have not been able to fix the PCB issue they identified. Pathetic service, incompetent "engineers" and no commitment to consumer after a sale is made. I agree with the above comment. They should be black listed,
                                WHIRLPOOL appliances are good but, very bad service also in HYDERABAD, TELANGANA . WHIRLPOOL service technicians are showing more attention on selling accessories for their products than service delivery.also replacing the ok parts of the appliances during the repair of appliance in out of warranty cases.dear all consumers ask the technician to do repair of your appliance in front of you only...
