Water draining problem in top load washing machine

The complaint was attended only on 25.09.18 from “ sri sastha enterprises “ thoraipakkam, chennai – 97. The service person analysed and advised to change the drain motor for proper functioning of the machine. He said it would cost around rs 2500 (Inclusive of service charge). He guranteed 6 months for the new spare part and 1 month warranty for the service. Since i felt it was reasonable and changed as per his advice and paid rs 2407 on 25.09.18. (Bill copy attached)

Water leaking problem

After 20 days of the first service i had problem of water sprinkling from the bottom of machine which was not there before changing the drain motor. The service person from the same service centre said oil seal in the centre hub of the machine has to be replaced to solve the problem which would cost appox. Rs 4500. Since it was not a major issue for me and the machine was in working condition. Also the service spare part cost was not reasonable and acceptable i did not want to repair

But now, less than a month of changing the drain motor, the problem of draining has recurred. Now the machine is not functioning. Again i had raised a complaint, but i didn’t get any call from the service partner till 23.10.18. So i contacted “ sri sastha enterprises “ on 23.10.18 morning at 10 am and 6 pm. The service person did not come till now. They contacted me through phone at 9 pm on 23.10.18 and asking to change the oil seal instead of attending the problem. They are saying the problem is now central hub and because of that the draining problem is there. All this details were only conveyed through phone conversation without inspection. The water leaking problem was only after changing the new drain motor.
I am not convinced with the whirpool service. If the problem was with the oil seal in the central hub they could have analysed the problem properly and informed us before changing the drain motor. We would not have changed the drain motor unnecessarily for rs 2407. Now they are asking to change oil seal in centre hub at rs 4500 to make the machine work. It is not acceptable to ask a customer to bear rs 7000 to repair a 7 year old machine without any guarantee on the service and does not make any sense on spending.

The service person did not identify the fault properly and made to incur of rs 2407, which did not solve the problem. Now i am very much burdened with a machine which is not working even after spending rs 2407 as per your service partner advice. I request you to contact the service partner and ask them to take back the newly fitted drain motor and refund the amount for wrong service provided.

    I have logged a complaint for repair of my top loading washing machine on 09/10/2018 on the toll free no. [protected] and one of the person from service centre visited and checked the machine and charged rs 400 as service charges. The person told the pcb is not working and need to be repaired and will cost 1600 rs. He then took the pcb and got it repaired and fixed the machine and we gave 1600 rs. The machine did not work even for an hour after that and we again called the service person and since then we have been chasing them to get it fixed. They have fooled us by taking the charges and the machine is still not working and every time we call the person says we will come tomorrow and that tomorrow has not come yet. They are not even talking respectfully on phone and when i said i will raise a complaint about this the person replied"haan haan kar lo complaint". Please do something such kind of people are putting the whirlpool services in bad light.

      Sir,
      It is true that products of whirlpool are good, but unfortunately if something goes wrong, after sales service is very bad. I have lodged a complaint on 12.10.2018, your service engineer visited and told that a censor near motor will be changed, and the same will be changed tomorrow. Next day another engineer visited, checked thoroughly and told that previous engineer easy wrong, wiring and capesitor will be changed, asked to sent to service centre and to pay rs.500 in advance to tempo driver for to and fro charges. Machine was lying at service centre since 13.10.2018. Service engineer also told that it's just 2 hours job and on 14th despite holiday we will come to centre and repair and return by 14th evening or latest 15th morning. I have called on 15th to ms. Kiran at service centre, she informed that engineer is on the job and same will be sent to you by today evening. No call from them. Again i enquired on 16th forenoon madam told your machine got repaired and put on trial run will be sent around 6 pm. I hv telephoned at 8 pm, madam not picked up the phone and sent one sms that please talk to mr vishal jain at......
      This number, i have called that mr. Jain informed that pcb of my machine got demeged and you have to pay around 4000. Rs for its replacement. From the above it is clear that pcb got demeged at service centre, why customer should bear the cost of fault made by whirlpool staff. I am a senior citizen, i have also called to mr. Dixit area manager, jaipur but no relief was received. I have also mailed to corporate office, they always made contact and every time confrance call was connected with area manager and manager of service centre. It is also informed by your engineer that pcb got repaired locally but still machine is lying with service centre.

      Last i want justice, otherwise i have no option to go court of law.

      It is humble request to all citizens if you really need after sales service never purchase whirlpool product.

      No response is provided, just asked to pay full amount including the part damaged by their service team. I have also sent email to company MD but the same had not even acknowledged. We customer don't expect such service from the company

        The whirlpool split air conditioner i bought in delhi on 29 june 2017 stopped cooling in september 2018. A complaint was registered on 23 september, 2018 over the company website. A service team visited my residence on 24 september after my re-registering the complaint over telephone on 24.09.2018. The team claimed that they needed to refill gas and that i had to pay rs.2750 for the same. I agreed and the process was started. I was in office and was then contacted by the service team from my residence and informed that the gas would last only for three to four days as they had now detected a faulty condenser coil. Now the same had to be replaced and would cost me another 7000 odd. I took it up on the whirlpool facebook page enquiring how within just over a year, i. E., 13 months, a multi-national company with a reputation could expect customers to spend so much money after having paid around rs.30, 000 for the air-conditioner.
        It is grossly unfair if the customers are fleeced by such companies who spend so much on advertising. Why can't they rectify such defects without charging customers? Why can an ac not be guaranteed for at least 4 years? Why are they not being given isi / bis standardization?
        The company said the condenser coil was out of stock and it would take a while for replacement. They brought a replacement and realised that the coil did not fit the external unit. Then they sent another team after a couple of days to take measurements of the external unit. Finally on 09.10.2018 they replaced the condenser coil and made me pay rs.8190. I also own a samsung brand air-conditioner located in the adjoining room which has worked trouble free from 2013. So the company has to admit that the fault was with their product. I demand a refund of the entire amount of rs.8190 that i had to spend on repairs. I had trusted the company and bought their product at such a high cost.

          Sir/madam,

          We brought whirlpool washing machine top load s/n : inf[protected] in 2009 from kannur, kerala. We are facing lot of problem ever since its purchase. The main pcb has already been replaced 3 times. Now again the technician is telling to replace the board. We dont know what is the actual problem with it. Kindly find a solution for it.

            I was very disappointed about the whirlpool service.

            I have raised complaint nearly one month back and that day only I got call from technician and he visited my home and checked the issue, after checking the issue he said that one of the part need to be replaced and he will order it then install it soon.

            I have waited nearly one month and not received any call from technician/whirlpool.

            Today I called to customer care number and I came to know that my complaint has been closed.
            I want to know why my complaint was closed without resolution. Why whirlpool not confirmed with the customers if it is resolved or not?

            After discussion with whirlpool customer care they opened the new complaint : GR[protected] and said that they will resolve the issue within 24 hrs, after opened the new ticket I received call from technician
            he told me that new parts are not available but he will replace with old part.

            My washing machine still warranty status and I was really shocked why he told me he will replace with old part.

            Now I need explanation from whirlpool

            1. Did whirlpool received any customer signed copy about the previous complaint if it is resolved ? without resolution why whirlpool closed the ticket?
            2. Why you are not proving the new parts for replacement?
            3. When it will be resolve the new complaint?

            Very very worst service and i have not seen this type of service throughout my life.
            Today again i called to customer care and they said that new complaint also closed status: gr[protected]

            Not sure why whirlpool closing the complaints without resolving the issues, at least i haven't received any calls from technician/whirlpool team. Just they simply closing the complaints without resolution.

              Dear all,
              It was very shocking to know that company like whirlpool is so ignorant and having worst customer service. I will never ever purchase any whirlpool product throughout my life.
              I have raised complaint on 08/09/2018 but the service center visited once without giving resolution and later he informed that he will order compressor (Which is not working) and install but since then he is not picking up the phone and neither my compressor is replaced. I am suspecting that on my name he has taken compressor and sold it in black market and accordingly closed my complaint.
              Today when i called your customer care number [protected] i came to know that my complaint has been closed. Whirlpool did not even bother to cross verify with customer to know whether complaint has been actually resolved or not.

              I want to know:
              1. Why my complaint was closed without proper resolution?
              2. By when will be issue resolved?
              3. Give grievance redressal mechanism of your company.

                I purchased 360 bloom wash whirlpool washing machine during aug. 2013.
                The machine started giving trouble in june 2018. The machine was taken to authorised whirlpool workshop for repair. After repair amounting to rs 8000
                The machine was made operational. During september 2018 once again the machine started giving trouble. Service engineers were called. They gave an estimate of rs 4000.
                . I tried to contact their servicing department but no response.

                Waste of money to purchase whirlpool product not given proper service support or warranty means fake word not a single service or proper way to handle in warranty service

                  I have got a refrigerator with dent surface. Nearest service provider told it will be replaced with in a month. After 1 month i have called them but they told another month. After that they told no complaint taken that time. I complained again (Kl[protected]) 1 month before and send pictures and doc but no response till now. I think i have to go consumer forum.

                    I purchased whirlpool washing machine on 31.01.2013 through emi from you amount of 29240.0 rupees. Order id: od[protected] from flipkart.

                    It was worked successfully about 4 years, after that problem happened.
                    Then i cantact to whirlpool custermer care, they visited and told that mother board has gone. Whirlpool person has told that we will replace mother board within a week.
                    After one week, they told to me mother board stock not available. We can't replace mother board, better replace new washing machine by charging half of the amount.
                    Then i accepted no problem you replace new washing machine.

                    From 23.10.2017 onwards i am trying for replacement of washing machine. Whirlpool persons are telling next week we will give... Like that one year over. Still they are not responding.

                    Now they are telling we can't replace mother board and as well as new washing machine also.


                    Please.. Help me and find the attached documents.

                      As per the talk with whirlpool team, appliance should be replaced by 10/10/2018. But not received the appliance instead received a call from whirlpool saying that it will take another 2-3 working days. Is 2 months are not enough for replacing a complaint appliance? That too freshly brought.

                        I registered a complaint about my whirlpool refrigerator replacement on 6 th sep 2018. My complaint is not yet solved. Everyday i call customer care and service center but no use, waste of time. Customer care says only 10 days for replacement. But no response from service center. When i call service center they told me i will inform you l. What should i do to solve this problem.

                          Dear sir / madam,

                          My whirlpool washing machine was not showing me the correct program function so i called the company technician to rectify the same... He suggested us to change the program panel which was changed 2 years back for the new machine... I asked him for any chances of repairing the panel to which he said "no"... He took a handsome amount of around 700 rs for the visit charges and left without doing anything... I called for the external repair technician and he made my machine work without replacement of panel...
                          My question is that is there really a expert technicians whirlpool is having or they are just to take exorbitant money from customer for unjustified reasons??? I am really disappointed with the customer service of whirlpool being a customer for more than 10 years with my family buying whirlpool products...
                          I assure you that i won't buy any whirlpool products in future and won't recommend it anyone...

                              I am a resident based at Hisar. Though Myself fond of the Whirlpool appliances however recent service from whirlpool is quite surprising.

                              1) I have lodged a complaint at your customer care on 06.07.2018 about auto-off of the refrigerator after every 8-9 hours and restart after pushing the 6TH SENSE Button

                              2) Technician Visited and informed that All parts including Compressor is ok however seems some wiring issues (will cost around INR 2K) and ask to send the refrigerator to your service center for repair

                              3) Considering it was peak season and kids were at home - I suggest to send after 15-20 days which technician agree considering still on workable consideration using 6th Sense Button

                              4) A Fees of INR 450/- was paid via receipt number 15889 dated 07.07.2018

                              5) However when i called technician to lift the refrigeration to your service center - Surprisingly My request was ignorned

                              6) I need to lodge a complaint again to you customer care on 05.08.2018 and on 6th August, technician lifted the machine to service center (I paid INR 200 for transporter on request from technician)

                              7) On 11th August, I receive my refrigerator stating its working fine (I again paid INR 200 for transporter on request from technician)

                              8) On 13th August, i again need to call the technician saying now 6th sense issue has resolved but freezer is not frozing the ice

                              9) After my repeated request technician visited and told that - There seems blockage in the Wire/pipe which will be cleared through gas cycliner and you need to send to service centre.

                              10) Though i was interested to get this fix at home only but on request of the Technician, it was again send to service centre on 11.09.2018 (Again cartage of INR 200 Paid)

                              11) I have told that it will be repaired and returned by 14th Sep

                              12) On 15th September - Mr Ravinder Punia called and informed that compressor is out of Order and it will be replaced with costing of INR 5200./-

                              13) Considering I spend lot - I immediately ask to return my refrigerator in same condition as I would like to use without repair

                              14) To My surprise, I have been informed that technicians have released out all Gas which i filled 2 months ago only

                              15) Nothing was discussed and no approval was taken to release out Gas for repair

                              16) Due to negligence of your service center, My Refrigerator has been brought to non workable condition /Zero level

                              I want my refrigerator in the Original condition as nothing was discussed with me about pro-cons of the problem.

                              To get my refrigerator in original condition - i again have to call your customer care vide complaint number HR[protected] dated 16.09.2018. They advised to contact local advisor but i am not hearing anything from center.

                              Without refrigerator, Life of my family member and kids become terrible.

                              I appreciate immediate resolution and arranging by Refrigerator back to home in original condition ( i want to use without resolving the freezing issues)

                                I have used Whirlpool's automatic washing machine for the last 15 years with complete satisfaction, so when it started giving me trouble I purchased another machine (Model 360 Bloom Wash) on 27/6/17 from Sangam Electronics, Model Town, Delhi.
                                But now I am not at all satisfied with its functioning.:
                                1 The machine starts working with very little water and the clothes run semi dry and I have to pour water in it
                                2. The clothes remain dirty even after washing as the top layer of clothes does not mix with the clothes lower down and these keep on circulating at the top only.
                                3. The clothes get entangled and fray at the seams.
                                I have requested the engineers from the company but they were of no help.One of the said that there is some manufacturing defect in this model and they working on it and after it is done, this machine will be replaced.
                                I am now fed up with this machine and I want the company to either get it right o replace it with some better model.

                                  A refrigerator of whirlpool was purchased on 01/08/2012 amounting to rs. 30000/-.in the very first year there was a problem with a part for which a replacement was being done. Now on 11/08/2018 the fridge suddenly stopped working. A complaint was being raised at the whirlpool customer care no. [protected] and a complaint no. Kl[protected] was allotted. The engineer came and on inspection initially said an electronic part has stopped working and said the replacement of such will rectify the problem. After a couple of days a different person from the whirlpool’s end came and took some photographs and said that due to water retention the whole back side has been damaged. After a couple of day we were informed that the company cannot replace the damaged part and hence the full refrigerator will be replaced and for such a 75 percent depreciation with 1000 rupees transportation charge will be deducted. When we informed the company that the damage has been due to company's defect and the company's inability to replace its defected part, the company agreed to provide 50 percent depreciation with 1000 rupees transportation charge too as waived off. The said was confirmed through an email dt. 03/09/2018 from mr. Sandipan gayen. On having a telephonic discussion with mr. Sandipan gayen, he confirmed that either i can go any whirlpool fridge in which the amount of 15000/- will be deducted immediately or a refund of that amount will be provided if whirlpools refrigerator is not taken. But the refund process will take time of 40 – 45 days. Before taking a decision my family members had gone down to various shops to select the refrigerator. I regret to inform you that none recommended for whirlpool products, instead asked to go for any other brand rather than whirlpool. By this we were so disappointed that we decided to go for lg or samsung. At last on 14/09/2018, i proceeded for lg refrigerator and asked whirlpool to process the refund of rs. 15000/-. On hearing that we have applied for refund and not its product the company, whirlpool took a u-turn and changed its own words, saying that the refund will be of 25 percent with additional transportation charge of rs. 1000/-. It is noting but sheer harassment to the consumer. First the company passed on its inability to the consumer and now when its products are not sold the company has started indirect blackmail process to force its products on consumers.
                                  Hence the refund of rs. 15000/- as informed need to be processed asap.

                                    I am extremely getting dissatisfied with your unresponsiveness on issues with new washing machine. It is making some noise during drying process and technician did not find anything stuck inside. He asked to send the machine to service centre so they can disassemble and repair some broken part. Moreover i pay to and fro transportation charges.
                                    This is not acceptable with new machine and want whirlpool to fix the issues possibly replacement.
                                    The machine is not in use for few days and seems like i wasted my money on bad product. After sales service is not satisfactory and need whirlpool management to pay some attention.

                                      I am from trichy, tamilnadu and my under the counter ro system with whirlpool has not functioning properly for about a month and i have been trying to get the trichy service centre office to take a look at it for the past month, with absolutely no response whatsoever. A guy named arul has been taking my complaints for the said month and when i called in to their office, they are telling me no such complaints has been registered. They still haven’t reolved it yet. Worst worst service.

                                        Dear sir/ madam,
                                        I purchased an intellifresh / neo refrigerator (Model: ff 2d 355 d/2017) from “sri kalyani” (House of electronics), sukhnivas building, 8-1-416 and 417, r. P. Road, secunderabad on 08.09.2018 by paying an amount of rs 33, 630 /- including transport changes.
                                        The item was delivered on the same day evening. When opened it was found that the both the doors of the refrigerator are deformed in the front portion, improper alignment and some of the internal fittings are missing.
                                        Upon reporting the service engineers responded lately and recorded the observations. However, till date the item has not been replaced.
                                        It is shocking that such a big company is supplying defective items with no regret and there is no arrangement for taking the item back. It is also interesting that the shop has also ignored the warranty certificate and not put the dealers stamp and signature.
                                        Under this situation i request you to replace the items immediately to maintain the good name of your company.
