Dear sir/madam

I have whirlpool refrigerator double door which is not under warranty & it is not working properly from last week.

I have called at your customer care toll free number two times (Yesterday & today) & both the times it was brought to my notice that technician will call me before coming.

Today miss sadhna was there & she told that today definately technician will call me before coming. But no one responded me neither yeasterday nor today.

I think customer care is just for a sake without doing anything by not showing any keen interest for customers problem.

No cool in fridge. Gas refilled and condensor changed. Oil chocked somewhere, the engineer doesn't know how to vaccum properly. Mental agnoy, not using fridge for past one week. Worst kind of service and inefficient engineers.

We purchased one split ac 2 years back and we complained for the not cooling issue since day one but they never took any action. Now after end of warranty they are telling us there is leakage on compressor and ac pipes.

I think they are only cheating on the name of warranty and making money after end of warranty.

Very bad Service. It was my black day when I have purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator 360 Litres Double Door. After purchase, in just 3 months Fan & Motor was not working & on complaining the employee Named as Aslam from service centre came & changed Motor & fan which was under warranty.

After this my refrigerator worked for 4 months & again same problem came. I have again complained so the same employee named as Aslam from Dolphin Refrigeration from Vadodara came & after checking told that Fan & Motor is not working so they needs to be changed & the cost will be Rs. 1700/- I was so surprised that how come within ! year the refrigerator can create problem & that too one of the German Company refrigerator named as "WHIRLPOOL"

With the thought in mind that beggars have no choice, In have made repaired by giving them Rs. 1700/- Again after 6 months no cooling was coming & ice-cream began to melt. I have booked a complaint & from service center an employee named as Aamir (Mobile No. [protected]) came & checked the refrigerator & told that gas problem is there so Gas needs to be filled & total charge would be Rs. 1900/- I talked with him in detail that why this kind of problem is coming in my refrigerator again & again so he told that sir this is electronic appliance & we cant say anything.

When I told that in our fridge ice-cream is not getting hard so he told that Sir Ice-cream cannot be kept in your refrigerator. Whenever you want to eat ice-cream then only you bring from Ice-cream parlour. I told him that if I want to eat ice-cream at 12:00 P.M then what should I do? Shall I break shop & get the ice-cream.

As soon as he heard my words, he immediately called his senior person & talked with him for a while & then he told me that O.K. sir you can keep ice-cream but you need to keep refrigerator in High mode & in Quickchill mode till your ice-cream is there. When your ice-cream is there in deep freezer then you will not get more temperature downstairs in fridge & you will not get your water bottles chilled. I was very much surprised on hearing this from him. Also he told that you cannot keep Family Pack Ice-cream & only small stick candies can be kept. I told him that my sister is having LG (Life's Good) refrigerator but they are not facing any problem. So he told that no sir you cannot keep ice-cream in any of the refrigerator deep freezer whether it is Whirlpool or LG or Samsung or Haier. I was very much surprised by hearing this pathethic words from him.

I have denied that I dont want to do anything now in my refrigerator & I will write complain about this issue. After 2 days I have received called from Whirlpool & there was Mr. Rajesh on phone. Mr. Rajesh (Phone No. [protected]) talked with me & he wanted to know the reason why I have not made repaired to my refrigerator. I told him in details that your service centres employees are not well trained & have zero knowledge about the appliances.

You will be surprised to hear what Mr. Rajesh told. He told that no sir the employee is right as you cannot keep ice-cream in refrigerator as ice-cream parlours keep ice-cream in commercial refrigerator which have high temperature & you cannot keep ice-cream in your refrigerator as you are using domestic refrigerator you cannot keep ice-cream in your refrigerator. On hearing these harsh & zero knowledge answer I told him that you also belongs to their same category. If we cannot keep ice-cream then what is the use of refrigerator. So he told that no sir you cannot keep.

I told him that while giving information for the refrigerator, the personj over there told us that ice-cream would be as it is for 18 hours after electricity has gone. What to tell about when the electricity is there? We cant keep ice-cream even if the electricity is there.

Seriously same on the Whirlpool brand product. I dont know now that how come I can get rid off by this refrigerator.

It is my sincere request to all customers please dont buy refrigerator of Whirlpool company. It would be fine if you can resist without refrigerator but dont buy Whirlpool fridge.

    Dear sir,
    I purchased a whirlpool 360 deg bloom wash machine: model 360h-7.2kg on[protected]S no inf[protected] at chennai.
    Since the past 2 years, this is giving problem from the electronic timer panel. Most of the time, during operation automatically it jumps over to high setting if you set it at medium for water. Though on few occasions, it spins down upto "end", most of the time it never goes down to "end' but stops at 6 minutes with"ub" instead of spinning down to zero minute.
    I am frustrated. When your authorised service agency (A. S. Associates) are called they charge inspection charge. However they advise to change the control panel, which is costing phenomenally high.
    Do you expect senior citizens like us to suffer as a punishment for purchasing this expensive machine for our old age comfort.. Where do we go?
    Why the authorised service centres are so insensitive can not take this board and rectify this in a central whirlpool lab on a chargeable basis, if it is a circuit fault, rather than bluntly advising the consumers that this board needs to be replaced. How many do you think would go by this advise?
    Rather, the brand would lose its identity and many new customers to my knowledge are already switching over to other brands.
    My washing machine is otherwise working alright except for this issue and we can ill afford to bear such enormous cost impact instead of rectifying the present board, for which you need to have in house checking facility to detect
    Circuit problems and rectify on chargeable basis. By this, you would protect your customers' interest, retain your base and avoid unscrupulous elements from taking charge of your machines. One service centre per zone should have a lab having a checking facility for electronic board.
    I would request you to get my machine's problem attended immediately (They can take the circuit board from the machine for check/repair for few days on chargeable basis).

      I bought a whirlpool freshcare front load washing machine from day 1 its not working and raised an complaint and requested for a refund last month. They said it will be refunded within 45 days of complaint raised. After one month after multiple follow up with udhaya raja (Deputy manager chennai) and he is saying it reached for his approval today and it will take another 45 days from today, he is also not confirming this in email. He is not polite as well and doesn't seems to care.
      I'm not sure how long i need to wait. And even after 45 days i'm not sure they will give my money back.
      Its very disappointing from a global mnc like whirlpool with a sub par quality product and equally sub par customer service and the attitude of their staffs.

        I have a 5 months new double door fridge, purchased from vijay sales panvel, which is from whirlpool. Few weeks back its defrost button was accidentally broken, for which i have filed a complaint at the number:[protected]. After my registering my complain, they provided me the number for harsh enterprises located at kamothe[protected]. After informing them, their technician reported at my place to check the fridge after 3 days. He left without any repair or maintenance done, since parts were not available. This was informed to me on 30th march. They also said the mentioned part will be received by next friday. Which did not happen and there was not intimation given by them to me. After rigorous follow up they have asked me to wait for another week.
        This is the most pathetic customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Now i am not getting cold water to drink since my fridge is just a show piece. Thanks for such wonderful service provided by whirlpool. This brand will never be promoted by me to any person. No matter dead or alive.

          Attention whirlpool india :
          I bought a whirlpool ice magic (190 litre - single door-serial no: dc 205 5s/2014) refrigerator from jayam&co (Annanagar, chennai-tamilnadu) on[protected] and the receipt no is - a-cr-2602.

          I regret to say that we received the fridge with a broken chiller tray. So while we defrost, the water will come out and spread over the floor. Which is highly inconvenient to us and the energy consumption is also very high.

          We raise the complaint to replace the chiller tray but still now we didn't receive the same.
          Last year we had an issue with the freezer box so we registered a complaint (Cn[protected], cn[protected]). Service person came from happy home care (Anna nagar west) and he replaced the freezer box, condenser and compressor. But no use of it, still we had the same problem recurring again. By 26th dec, 2017 we registered a complaint for the same issue sr number: cn[protected]. Nobody came to service the fridge and we tried to reach the service center but they didn't proper respond (Till 7th april-2018).
          It was really frustrating and very bad service from whirlpool. Thoroughly not satisfied with the product which i have brought.

            I had given the cheque (861806) of Rs. 2, 665 on 13th March to renew the AMC for my refrigerator. But I have not received any communication from Whirlpool with regards to the same. However, I have been receiving many calls requesting for AMC renewal.

            I had called up the Customer care on 2nd april asking for the status and I spoke to the lady called Jasvinder. Instead of providing the status, I was asked to contact the bank. in case of cheque dishonour, I should have got the message from my bank or whirlpool should have communicated to me. Also I expect something to be there in their system but that is not the case.

            afterwards, the lady asked me to contact the service center as I had called the customer care. May I ask you what is the responsibility and scope of customer care? if customer needs to contact service centre for AMC. why customer care no. is given in the broucher?

            Now it's almost 1 month and I am still awaiting for AMC renewal. The worst time I have been facing with Whirlpool in this regard. Most Pathetic Service

              Sir, I had purchased your product as a washing machine on January 2017 from CPC canteen Alappey. I lodge a compliant in your service center on 16.04.2018 due to the washing machine is not working. On 07.04.2018 a staff came and attend the compliant and he has obtained sum of Rs.420/- from my home towards service charge stating that the complaint is not covered the warranty period. It seems irregular and I may please be informed whether such complaints shall not be entertained during the covered period or otherwise . An early reply in this regard is requested please.

                  I purchased fully automatic washing machine in the month of october 2015. Within two years the washing machine started making weird sound n when i registered a complaint, the serviceman charged 450 rupees only to tell that it's whole mechanism system is defective, require immediate change costing rupees 6000. This is the worst machine which i have ever purchased. This is a kind of fraud which this whirlpool company is doing with their innocent customers. A machine within two years transformed into junk.

                    I had been keep raising the complain through customer care but nobody visited home yet. I have already opened nearly 6 new complain in last 3 month but didn't get any call or response from whirlpool. Whenever i call customer care says the complain has been closed and comment is "nobody was there at home". They never bother to call. I stay in apartment, where to get any technician they need my permission. I didn't get any call for such entry approval from security. Then how can the complain be closed with such comments?

                      This is to bring to the notice of whosoever is concerned that i purchased whirlpool refrigerator bearing sl no - inc[protected] on 27 march 2016 from pai international, bangalore for rs. 17, 300/-.

                      Initially, it was working fine later started the issue where no colling for which we made a complaint to whirlpool service center regarding my fridge.

                      After multiple follow ups the technician came and checked and informed that gas has to be filled and he will be sending another technician who is doing this and he came and filled the gas and checked but it was not working then he identified that no issue with gas where compress is the problem then he replaced the same and filled the gas and charged us with rs.2900/-. He also gave 3 months of warranty.

                      The refrigerator has worked exactly 3 months again we found same problem, it was working but no colling was happening, since i was not in town and the complaint was raised on 29th march 18 and technician came and checked on saturday (31.03.2018) and informed that problem is with compressor or gas to be filled and said that he will be sending another technician by sunday or monday (02.04.2018) but nobody came on that day.

                      Yesterday, i got a call from your technician that he will be coming and examining the issue and came at 02:20 pm said that compressor is fine, no need to fill gas but the exact issue is with freezer box and some blockage has to removed it has to be replaced with new one which will cost around rs. 3000/- approx...

                      As we were not satisfied with your technicians, we contacted other fridge technicians from our end. They examined and said that fridge is in good condition during earlier gas filling the old block has to be removed properly, which will take around 45 minutes of time, if it is not removed properly it will cause a choke in freezer box which also damages the compressor slowly. Now our fridge is completely dead. As he disconnected all connections.
                      Whirlpool has a very good brand image, second time we are having the same issues with your refrigerator. The reason we contacted whirlpool service center is to get a quality service. Irresponsible employees like this and unqualified technicians are actually causing damage to the brand image whirlpool.

                      We already spent rs.17, 300 and purchased your product after a year again spent rs. 2, 900, now again we cannot spend rs. 3000/- aprrox.
                      I am extremely anguished and disappointed with your product and the way your unqualified technicians in the leading & reputed electronic appliances manufacturers,

                      As you know there are best products in the market, i have selected your brand because of the trust and reputation but now i am regretting myself why i have purchased whirlpool, with this worst experience i will never recommend to purpose any of your products to anybody.

                      We kindly request you to help us in this issue by either repairing your refrigerator free of cost or kindly take back your product, as we are not ready to spend frequently spending double or triple than amount that we have spent on your product.

                        worst washing machine

                        I have whirlpool washing machine. But for the last few years it is not working properly. Every year we complain and company's service person come and replace pcb which costs around 4500. Last time we replaced it in july 17. And today again its not working. Yesterday service people came and just said you pay 4500 and replace pcb. Just in nine months i have to replace it. So every year i have to pay 4500 to cimpany. I think company is earning...

                        Attention whirlpool india : i have been really frustrated to logged my complaint with you regarding my refrigerator which has been having over cooling issue due to compressor as confirmed by the whirlpool service engineer. Initially to remediate the issue certain parts costing around 4k was replaced which didn't resolved the issue. There fore after multiple complaints, i was confirmed of the exact issue which would need to replace my refrigerator since repairing was not possible as confirmed by the service engineer. I went ahead giving my go-ahead to do so as i have been having various inconvenience as there was no other option.
                        For replacement, i was asked to provide a new whirlpool refrigerator model since my model was no longer available now. I provided the same and after some days i was told that i would need pay 15k for the replacement of refrigerator which has a market rate of approx. 20k and was getting the same at 19400 (From whirlpool online site) which was simply rediculious.
                        Though they recalculated it again once i clarified of 4k i gave for misleading parts replacement along with the correct value of the refrigerator and mr. Ankit (From whirlpool) went ahead with seeking approval of 8k and asking me to pay the same.
                        Now my question is should i pay 10500 (After 50% reduction of my original refrigerator) + 4000 (Misleading part replacement) + 8000 (Replacement charge) = 22500 for a refrigerator which has a market value of approx. 20k when the issue is with refrigerator compressor which carry 10 years warranty and asking me to pay above market price even after going through all the hassle and inconvenience since last 4 months.
                        Appreciate if you can quick fix this.

                          We bought whirlpool ice magic royal 230l less than 2 years ago. Within one year had compressor failure then i logged a ticket then authorized service center technicians visited and replaced compressor with no cost but after 3 months from the compressor replacement again we faced same no cooling issue then again same thing but this time they said it is related gas issue then they evacuated and top up the gas and charged around 1800/- rupees and advised to use their stabilizer to avoid this kind of issues so i purchased stabilizer worth rs.2000+ and started using it but i still remember when the time of purchasing refrigerator showroom people said to me and some other people like me who visited to buy that it won't required any stabilizer.
                          Highly disappointed with this product..
                          Now again we are facing the same issue before contacting whirlpool customer care thought of register my complaint here.
                          I have to see now how much they charge and this time what kind of reasons they are going to tell.
                          Worst thing in my case is we cannot afford double door refrigerator so that's the reason we brought single door fridge but when i calculated the whole amount may be i will get double door fridge from same or some other company.

                            Hi,

                            I had purchased whirlpool fully automatic washing machine in oct 2015 in pune which was installed in june 2016 in mumbai.

                            At the time of installation, mumbai engineer told me "warranty starts from the date of installation and not from the date of purchase."

                            In last week (At pune) my washing machine suddenly stopped working so i lodged a complaint in customer care. When engineer visited my place, he without even checking the machine said "pcb need to be replaced and washing machine is not under warranty". And he told me "pcb will cost me rs 4500 plus service/ visit charge extra".
                            When i asked him to atleast check the machine he denied. When i showed him installation document and explained him warranty is from the date of installation, he called some senior person.
                            After he got confirmation from his senior that the machine is within warranty then he started inspection by saying "pcb must be in good condition".
                            I was surprised as he changed his statement immediately after knowing machine is under warranty.
                            Then he said he will come on next day with new pcb as he didn't carry pcb with him. Unfortunately he didn't call next day. Day after he called me in the morning and said "company doesn't give warranty on pcb". When i started questioning him he changed his statement again that "your machine is not in warranty".
                            He really annoyed me and asked him i will talk to customer care on this issue.

                            When i again called customer care, they asked me to get in touch with regional coordinator. When i called her she also told me "machine warranty starts from the date of purchase and not from the date of installation."

                            I mean i was not able to take all this chaos. Different stakeholders were taking different stand as per their own convenience and benefit.

                            To check on her statement i called engineer who had installed machine in mumbai he said "warranty starts from the date of installation. He also said that whirlpool service team who gives contract to service providers, they try to make money by fooling customers."

                            I need immediate solution of this problem.

                            Still problem is not resolved.

                            My machine is standstill since past more than 40 days. Everytime (till now 4 visits happened) technician comes, fixes something and again in a day or 2 machine stops working.
                            Later we were informed that some senior technician will come & attain call but the same person visits again & again.

                            After last visit of technician 5 days ago, my machine stopped working intermediately after 2 days.
                            It is carrying detergent water since past 3 days and has started smelling like rotten egg.
                            I have 1.4 year old baby and it is very unpleasant.

                            Day before yesterday Whirlpool SOS team confirmed me that they will replace my machine and they requested several details which I shared with them on the same day.
                            After that Whirlpool team has not responded. Everytime we call customer care, we came to know that concerned person is not available/ busy & we will get call back.

                            It seems that company is waiting for warranty period to lapse. If this is the case I am going to highlight this case to social media where ever possible and will advice people to not to buy Whirlpool product as they don't care what customer is facing.

                            Requesting government body to take necessary actions against such companies who are fooling customers!!!
                            I am requesting all appliance buyers to not to buy Whirlpool appliance. Ignoring customers is the only thing they can do well!!!

                              This is to bring to the notice of whosoever is concerned that i happen to own a whirlpool microwave oven for the past ~ 4 years. Recently, i've had a problem with powering on the microoven. On having raised a complaint with customer care, a whirlpool technician from their local franchise (Vibrant techno services - bangalore) visited my premises and informed me that the magnetron (Product name - witol 2m218j) had become faulty and that it would cost me rs.[protected] to get it replaced.
                              On checking for the same product online and also enquiring with local technicians, i realised that the same product could be procured at half the price or even lesser.
                              Armed with this information, i called up the technician directly and charged him for his supposedly unethical practice of fleecing more money. He insisted that the magnetron i'd checked out online was supposedly 'not original' and that he was charging more for providing an 'original whirlpool product'! However, on pointing out that whirlpool does not manufacture magnetrons themselves, he didn't have a convincing answer apart from his ill-educated, half-cooked, baseless statement that he was going to deliver an 'original whirlpool product'!
                              I tried escalating this with customer care, but it seems the customer care service (Atleast the one in bangalore) is filled with apathetic and incompetent professionals of all flavors! They're supposed experts but fail to understand the most basic of problems explained in the most simple of languages. And finally, after having synced with the local franchise, the customer care personnel re-iterated the same statement and the same price... Making me wonder what a waste of my time and efforts it was!! One would expect a semblance of rational in the customer care department but then i guess with whirlpool, that is not to be..!!
                              Hence, i've decided to get my unit checked by a local technician.
                              To all of you out there, my message is that the after-sale services of whirlpool totally sucks, so make your choice judicially before embarking on a purchase.

I have made AMC with your company on 17.1.2018 with Rs.4710/-. At the time of AMC company experts told that the condition of the filters is not good and require immediate change.The filter is now not functioning properly. whenever I contacted the Area Manager or Helpline they informed me that candles is not available in the company and it will be supplied whenever it is availability.
                                My wife is a kidney transplanted patient who requires fresh water regularly with other restrictions. Now the question is if a reputed company unable to supply the spares even after AMC and repeated reminders who would take responsibility for my wife who is a kidney transplanted lady.                                   I registered a complaint on 18/3/2018 regarding the drain of the washing machine not working. A technician came and told me that part needs to be replaced. It has been 10 days now and still the machine is not fixed. Now they say it will take another week to get the part and that too is not assured. Really fed up with this unprofessional behavior.                                     On 19th of Mar 2018 we made a complaint to Sri Lakshmi home care, Pollachi an authorized whirlpool service center. On the same day technician (name not known) from the service center visited and said compressor was to be replaced and stabilizer also. (even though the fridge having inbuilt stabilizer,
                                    we put an external stabilizer also). we respect the technician advise and pay Rs.2000/- for stabilizer as advance . On the next day 20.03.2018 the technician replaced the compressor, thermostat, two legs and whirlpool stabilizer and charged Rs.5900/- +Rs.650/- The fridge worked only for the same day of service (20.03.2018) and from the next day, fridge was working but no chillness was there.
                                    21st Mar 2018 I again raised a complaint to the authorized service center, the customer support team said they will send the technician by today (21.03.2018) or the next day. I again and again remind this issue twice a day as this is summer. when ever I"m calling the only reply from the service center is " the technician will attend the problem by today evening". but the problem is yet to be rectified. I also brought to the notice of customer care number[protected]. They register this complaint as "Code.287 MR.[protected]" and the problem will be rectified in 24 hrs. but still the negligence continues. We contacted other fridge technicians, they mentioned that before filling gas the oil has to be removed properly, if it is not removed properly it will cause a choke in freezer box which also damages the compressor slowly. Whirlpool has a very good brand image. The reason we contacted whirlpool service center is to get a quality service. Irresponsible employees like this and unqualified technicians are actually causing damage to the brand image whirlpool.
                                    We kindly request you to help us in this issue by either refunding the amount or repair the fridge since this is summer season.

                                      I had bought a whirlpool washing machine model no.13388 white magic 123 700h sometime in oct-2011

                                      We have the usual practice of leaving the machine plugged into the socket but switched off after use

                                      On 25 march at moring 3 am after almost 5-6 yrs o[censored]sage it suddenly caught fire around the middle of the night in off mode. It tripped the electricity. Fortunately, as i was awake,. To my surprise i came out of room and show thick black smoke fuming out of baranda. I was shocked to see the washing machine ablaze and for a second was motionless as to what to do. The fire left our entire baranda including its wall to wall, ceiling including the entire painting in a damaged condition and our water purifier has also burned.

                                      It could have caused irreparable loses/causalities risking our entire house to catch fire had i not been awake that night and taken evasive action to stop fire.

                                      What to registered a complaint with whirlpool as this could have risk of family members life. Want strict action towards whirlpool company. Want replacement and compansation losses.
