I had a brand new whirlpool split ac delivered to me on 29 may. Two days latter after followup of couple of days i finally got the installation technician visit my place to do the installation only to find out the remote and the indoor unit was faulty and need to be replaced.
I logged a complain to replace the indoor unit. Finally on 5 june the indoor unit was replaced. Today its 7 june and here i am again going into round robin following up with rentomojo for the installation of the replaced indoor unit.

All in all i have not seen the product working even for few min since it was initially delivered on 29 may. I have been either taking off from my work or going late to my office waiting for the installation to happen.

This has been the most painful and disappointing experience so far. Today when i called back again, i was asked to give another 24hr.
Installation service no hd[protected] but no one end up coming over. If this is the first experience. Than its better to return the product.

    Whirlpool customer care is the worst customer care ever. They scheduled a technician for a service for my Washing machine where I logged in a complaint stating the machine had a leakage. The technician came and broken the water outlet and is asking us to pay for the damage he made. I logged in complaints multiple times to whirlpool customer care where there was no proper response and also gave me false commitment that they will give a solution. But till now no solution is given and the service is too bad. My whole day wasted following up with the customer care. The below are the customer care guys who gave me false commitment Prathap, Shyam Raj, Vishnu and Shambu.

        I have taken amc plan from whirlpool company as i have their ro purifier. Payment was made by cheque. Once credited to their account the plan was activated & we received amc successful email & usual letter. To claim in office & for records ; since 2017 ; i am asking them to give me a receipt mentioning the gst number & amount paid but company is unable to provide.
        Service renewal agency has no answer as they are saying company has change the format & ask us to approach cal center. Call center says call back will come from local regional agency. But since last august 2017 till date the case is still going on.
        As last resort ; i also told them that please issue letter individually to me referring my name, emp number with amc amount in favor of my office mentioning my company gst number so that when i claim that my money from my office as per my eligibility ; my office can claim itc on the bill submitted by employee. Complete format has been shared but still no response.
        Water purifier - water-ro chassis no. Cnt[protected], purchased on 30 aug, 2017. Existing amc plan purchased /assuredge plan starts on 30 aug, 2017 and expires on 29aug, 2018.
        Ro registration plan application number - hp17809348 ro plan taken - an ro-2012-comprehensive-plan-dlx-elt-12m plan code no. 1023706.

        Solution need :
        1. Company should provide proper bill with amount & their gst number mentioned.
        2. As a working class and my designation we receive option to reimburse ro maintenance plan cost from office ; so whirlpool company should provide bill to consumer as per official format certified with my company gst number. There is complete thread of email with them but no response from company towards solution

          Hi,

          I wanted to highlight and bring to your attention the NIGHTMARISH experience with Whirlpool after purchasing an A/c in Mumbai.

          Please do not take this matter lightly as I intend to make this a big issue.

          My ordeal started when an AC was procured through FLIPKART by Vaani Kapoor on 20.05.18, invoice number FAABDP[protected]. I now think buying a Whirpool a/c was the biggest mistake that i never intend to repeat again.

          To get the a/c installed on her behalf i started calling the toll free number provided . My first call went out at around 2 pm on 02.06.18 from my number [protected].

          This was where the DISASTER began.

          First my call landed in Delhi call centre where it was informed to me that my call has landed in Delhi and they will arrange a call back for Mumbai.
          When i got a call back it was a missed call. The phone was in my hand and it disconnected after one ring.
          I called back on the same number and it was again informed to me that the call has landed in Delhi... EVEN AFTER CALLING BACK ON THE SAME NUMBER??
          Again i was told that a call back will be initiated for Mumbai.
          The call that came again was missed call which disconnected AFTER ONLY ONE RING!!! The phone was right there in front of me! Is the Whirlpool company in such a bad shape that they can't afford to give proper calls?? And after giving a missed call they must have conveniently updated on the system that TRIED TO CALL CUSTOMER BUT NO RESPONSE. So i got no further call.
          Once again I called the number and my call again landed in DELHI and they told AGAIN they would initiate a call back.
          Finally i got a call where i managed to speak to a lady and requested her to arrange an engineer visit. During the call i inquired whether the installation would be free of cost as if you buy from Flipkart the installation is taken care of.
          WITHOUT CONFIRMING THE ENGINEER VISIT she told me she has no idea on the same and would once again INITIATE A CALL BACK for my query and disconnected the call. I didn't have an IOTA of CLARITY when and how the technicians would visit for the installation. that was of course because IT WAS NOT DONE!
          More than an hour later i did not recieve any call even though the time committed was WITHIN 30 MINUTES! Eventually i only had to call back and again the call LANDED IN DELHI and I was informed that I would get a call back for MUMBAI.
          ONCE AGAIN IT WAS A MISSED CALL!!!
          By this time I had run out of patience and called up to complain where i narrated the entire ordeal. AGAIN I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A CALL BACK FROM MUMBAI... THIS TIME ON PRIORITY.
          NO CALL WAS RECEIVED!!!
          I called back and informed the customer care that i am not receiving call backs or am getting missed calls and the only response i got every time was -WE WILL INITIATE A CALL BACK! (By this time i had resigned myself to the fact that my calls will land in Delhi only. FYI - I WAS NOT GIVEN A MUMBAI NUMBER DESPITE ASKING)
          This whole nonsense went on and I called atleast 10 to 12 times. I even called at 7 pm... waited for a call for 30 minutes... called at 7.30 pm to inform no call received... waited for a call back, no call recieved... called back at 7.45 to inform no call received, where i spoke to this cocky guy who assured me he would initiate a call back in 2 minutes on priority. I informed him that I better get a call back before the close of Whirlpool's closing hours at 8 pm as I have been calling all day and they still haven't managed to do a simple thing like request an engineer for installation. He gave me his word that i would get a call. FALSE INFORMATION AND LIES. I called back at 8 to hear the IVR information about the WHIRPOOL operation hours!!

          DAY2 03.06.18:

          Despite being EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED, FRUSTRATED and ANNOYED with the previous days experience i again called the toll free number and i was told a callback will be initiated in 30 minutes.
          2 hours later no call.
          I once again called Delhi call center and asked to talk to somebody senior as I was done with the entire thing.
          I got connected to a supervisor called VIKAS or KUNAL and I once again narrated the entire incident. This time I was so frustrated and done that i informed the supervisor that I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY AND I MADE A MISTAKE PURCHASING A WHIRPOOL PRODUCT. To get a simple task like requesting an engineer visit had become a headache!! I informed the supervisor that I AM GETTING IT INSTALLED ON MY OWN AS I AM GETTING NO HELP FROM WHIRPOOL and am also FORGOING THE WARRANTY (It has a warranty of 10 years) and am ready to spend my own money for installation. THAT IS THE LEVEL OF FRUSTRATION AND HELPLESSNESS I WAS AT!
          The supervisor was nice enough and that was the only help i received as he genuinely tried to initiate a visit on priority. But by this time it was 5 pm and i got a call saying the centres are closed and no technician is available. ON A SUNDAY!!! So finally i got it done on my own.
          I DID NOT EVEN GET A CALL THE NEXT DAY TO CONFIRM IF I WANTED TECHNICIANS FOR INSTALLATION. SUCH WAS THE LEVEL OF APATHY and SHAMELESSNESS FROM WHIRPOOL!

          Today 07.06.18

          There was a technical snag with the product as it was not cooling so i called the toll free number on 06.06.18 in DELHI and they initiated a call back for me.
          I received the call, confirmed an engineer visit where i was told that a centre called COOL CARE would get in touch with me and confirm the timing. This call was made at 11 am.
          COOL CARE technicians very conveniently called and informed that they would not be coming today despite having the entire day. They gave some nonsense reason as THE PROCESS TAKES 24 HOURS TO VISIT ONCE INFORMED TO THEM!!! REALLY??? 24 HOURS AFTER CONFIRMING WITH WHIRLPOOL?

          They finally turned up today at their own sweet time. Took one look at the ac and informed that the gas has leaked. To rectify the same they will come back tomorrow. ONE WHOLE DAY THEY WILL TAKE AGAIN TO RECTIFY???? 48 HOURS AFTER THE COMPLAINT AND STILL NO RECTIFICATION???

          On talking to the COOL CARE local person MOHAMMED he just put his hands off the case. I told the customer care centre i am willing to pay for the service as i got the ac installed on my own, WHIRPOOL was not bothered or even cared to get in touch with me after my HORRIBLE experience.
          MOHAMMED was extremely rude and uncaring. When i asked why it cant be done today he changed his story and told me they will not repair the ac as i had got the installation done on my own, even though I was ready to pay.
          ONCE AGAIN I GOT A LOCAL GUY AND GOT IT REPAIRED.

          My entire experience was PATHETIC BEYOND WORDS. It was the biggest mistake to purchase a WHIRPOOL product and the experience has left me so ANNOYED that i had no other choice but to send this long of a mail. The ANGUISH cannot be described.

          I hope this mail is escalated to the highest levels as no one should have to face something like this and I need a service recovery to be done! YES i am going to be shameless in mentioning this. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! And this will become a big issue for your company!

            Purchased NeW AC on 14 Apri & got it Installed on 18 April through Whirlpool, Within 1 Month It stopped Working Showing Some kind of Error "F6"..

            Called Customer Care, Even wrote email Thrice but No reponse.

            Poor Quality & Along with it poor Customer Care .

            Really regret My decison to Buy It From Whirlpool.

            COMPLAINT NOT RESOLVED AC stopped working on 17 th May, informed Whirlpool india for resolution, Complaint was atuomatically closed without doing anything again registered another complaint as they are not able to reopen the Previous complaint which they have Closed on their Own. Wrote email, reminder emails to their helpdesk but never received any feedback till one month . in the meantime their people came four time to repiar the Ac unit, everytime htey tried to rectify the probkle was unsucessful and the complete cycle took more than 1 month . i was facing the summer and these people keep experimenting on the AC unit, even when they tried to repair it they left some screw outside the unit, means they made it truly third hand AC with their repair . then i requested them if in one month you are not able to resolve it then please give another unit as it is not getting fixed. reply was company can repair but cannot replace, and nobody was willing to discuss the deteriotation happened due to there repair attempted four time on AC. Want to have new one instead of getting this unit repaired. Had recent Communication with following email ID & phone no.             Now a days AC have Sixth Sense but some people are without even common sense .

            I was Complaining from more than one month that my AC is under breakdown to Whirlpool, wrote emails & even called them so many times . Even after that if you are able to write you care for your customer is " big joke".

            First of all whirlpool never responded to me even if they responded they gave all kind of illogical things ranging from remote control problem to motor, then from motor to Sensor and now their focus is on PCB.

            Everytime whenever they tried to repair they created some kind of additinal trouble to the unit, like parts are not fixed properly, even screw are left behind outside the unit .( i dont know haw safe it is now to use after that).

            don't believe that your field executives are trained ( they don't even have id cards if you ask ), their repair quality is totally un reliable . for this reason i dont need any repair it will be tter if replace the unit otherwise i bound to take the legal course.

            Replace the AC Unit, it is now 1 month it is underbreakdown & today they called me to inform that it will take another four days to get the required Part .

            Pathetic Service - 1 month for arranging a part for AC manufactured in 2018.

            Don't want any repair refund the Money..

            I m called your customer 100 times, registered by complaint which is also linked to My Mobile number .
            You Still need required My Mobile Number . Please use some common sense.

            your quality & service is very poor that even after 1 month of registering a complaint you are not able to arrange part or even able to identify the route cause.

            so i think whirlpool is not having capability for it, so i already process a complaint in consumer court and you will be informed appropriately.

            only possibility for you to refund the my money and NO repair/replacement.

              In reference to my complain regarding whirlpool refrigerator 340 ltr. (double door), it is informed that executive engineer coming twice to solve my refrigerator problem. One engineer told me there is wiring problem in refrigerator. On next day another engineer visit in my home and told me there is low gas problem in refrigerator. He told me if you are interested i am fill the gas in refrigerator, if not, then model will be changed. Today[protected] i have received a call from customer care and they told me that model will not be changed. Because refrigerator is under warranty period only gas will be fill.

                When we call whirlpool it takes them time to find the details. The extended warranty the cannot find it. Then they have to verify all details which are available with them. If we are calling from outside we should go home & get all the details.

                Why have the details to be verified which are with them. As per the call center they are following the process. Why have such a process. Harass the customer

                This shows that Whirlpool does not understand the complaint &gives robotic replies. They have not understood how the customer do not care representative keep on asking for information which is not required.

                    May nay whirlpool say apnay fridge ki gas fill kar vai thi or yeh mahinay may 2 bar fill kar chukay hay per mera fridge abhi bhi theak nehi chall raha hay, mainay complaint bhi kar dhi thi us kay bad bhi whirlpool ka enginer phone kar kay kehta hay ki tum 4-5 din tak check kar lo theak ho jayaga. May nay ek mahinay may do teen baar complaint kar di hay per us per kisi ka bhi follow up nahi hay, bus phone per bolday thay han ki wait kar lo theak ho jaye ga.
                    Pls rectify my issue asap.

                      Hi all prospect customers for whirlpool.
                      I would recommend not to buy any product from this company.
                      Be aware that if you are planning to buy any whirlpool product then immediately drop this idea. On the same price you can get products from other competitors but at least they will provide you customer satisfaction wrt to service and specially under warranty.
                      Why i am saying all this, is the frustration i am having because of whirlpool. I had brought a ac (Latest of whirlpool: 3d cool xtreme) on 5th may, which after installation not working. I logged compliant on call center on 21st and a technician visited to check the problem after 2 days. He first told me that problem is with indoor unit, which is having faulty parts, not capable to transfer electricity to outdoor unit and it is common in invertor acs. Now service team is saying that outdoor is faulty and there is no conclusion on this. They have left both the parts opened at my home and not ready to assemble it also. After 3 days there was no updates and i called to corporate office from where i got multiple contact details and i am continuously following with them. Persons with whom i had interaction are amit (Alwar service store manager), deepak (Area sales manager, jaipur), amruta, vikram, sashi. Every one is just moving me around and seems noone is really working to resolve customer problems.

                      So if you want to have tension free customer service, then dont go with whirlpool.

                        I have purchased an ac on 15th may 2018 as a gift to my mother on mothers day on 16th installation engineer visited installed and after taking installation fee of rs.3500 said that the outdoor is faulty it needs to be replaced. From that day onwards i am just pleading in front of every service guy to get it replaced but still the same sob story that aaj hojayega kal hojayega. Ridiculous company and worst experience in after sales. I called the customer service also but they were not even able to forward my call to level2 support saying humara management hi nahi hai koi second level par.                           Technician came to our house he just saw the window ac and use meter and told gas licked from rusted coil and it will cost 2500 for welding and gas filling charge. Even he didn't fit the ac cover properly. It was huge so i told that charges are more so i told that i don't need service. Then he asked for service charge of rs 518. Just visiting our place cost us rs.518. I asked him to let me know where is the leakage but he is saying not sure from where gas is licking, he didn't tried to find the reason of gas licking. It is not fair. Company should lower the charges and they can charge visiting charge minimal. So how can u charge rs 518 with out solving our problem. Very very bad policy of company.

Then i consult with another service person to fill gas in ac, he took 2000 rupees for welding and gas filling, after 3 days again ac is not cooling. I'm totally frustrated using whirlpool ac, how can this happens.in one year how can coil rusted that much and lickage of gas happens again and again. After gas filling they gave warranty for only that coil that has been replaced, so how the new coil will leak, they make us fool. After taking whirlpool servicing this happens.

                          How can you sell defected ac?

                          I need my ac replacement!

                          Again and again i'll not spend 2500 for gas filling, 500 for consultation charge, 8000 for coil replacement. It's better to purchase new ac and will throw this ac from 6th floor. Please give me proper solution.

                            This is sherali from chennai, purchased a double door refrigerator from one of your dealers in chennai on 2013

                            Unfortunately there was no cooling in refrigerator, major issues in the fridge:-

                            Every 2-3 mins there was cut off sound

                            Regarding this, i had complained about it to the customer care. One of your executives came and said that relay is fault, he changed the relay again same fault, again complained to customer care, your person came and said compressor fault, compressor in under 10yrs warranty mentioned in product. Service centre (A. J services-kilpauk) said compressor is out of warranty, i said it is mentioned clearly that 10yrs warranty again they accepted and changed the new compressor.

                            But new compressor was also faulty, this is the super service offered by whirlpool. Giving faulty compressors to the customers and informed that new compressor is replaced.

                            Second time, again new compressor was replaced, but problem was not resolved, same problem, no cooling again cut off.

                            Nearly 10-12 times your service person visited my place, but till now there is no solution for the issue. I am tired of these unnecessary visits from your super trained technicians who have no clue of the issue and cant find out the exact problem in the product.

                            I have been using fridge for years and i know how it works. I am sure that the product is faulty as it is not solved. We trust your super brand (All my family members are using whirlpool) and this is the worst service we got in return. I will not keep this faulty product and want a replacement of the same.

                            I kindly request the responsible officer to take an immediate action on the issue and request you to replace the product at the earliest.

                            Dear Sir / Madam,

                            This is sherali from chennai, purchased a double door refrigerator from one of your dealers in chennai on 2013

                            FIRST, The officer can check my records of service, what are the difficulties I have faced by whirlpool product service in last year.

                            For past two months the product is not working properly, that is no cooling in refrigerator, major issues in the fridge:- Every 4-5 mins there is cut off sound, Last year also same problem after many complaints raised then the issue was resolved.

                            Same problem now continues, In the month of February I received one sms regarding free service camp from whirlpool, I called the number which was in mentioned sms for service, they came and checked the product and said one spare is faulty have to change or your compressor will burn or something they said and said it will cost to Rs.1800/-, I asked them – you said free service but you are charging me, they said spares are chargeable, I said ok change the spare.

                            After changing the spare one day the product was working perfect next day onwards no cooling, every 4-5 mins there was cut off sound, I called the person and explained the problem, they came again and said the spare which they changed for Rs.1800/-is faulty, again they changed the new spare, again no cooling every 4-5 mins there was cut off sound and again they came and changed the new spare, but the problem was not resolved the same problem continues till date, again no cooling every 4-5 mins there is cut off sound. Again we tried couple of times calling the person but no response from him.

                            This is the best service from international recommended brand “WHIRLPOOL”

                            After 10 days we are going to have fasting period RAMZAN, So I kindly request the senior responsible officer to take an immediate action on the issue and request you to send the well trained experienced person to find first what is the problem and then solve the problem at the earliest.

                              I purchased a single door refrigerator from one of your dealers called ankur electricals (Sec 18, noida, near metro station) on 30.03.18

                              It is so unfortunate that from the first day o[censored]se of the fridge there are three major issues in the fridge:-

                              1. The freezing section was completely decked with loads of ice every single day

                              2. There is a lot of noise at the back of the fridge

                              3. There is so much of water filled in the chiller tray and it eventually drops below and the complete fridge is filled with water which spoils all the food kept in it.

                              I had complained about it to the customer care. One of your executives came and said that we need to defrost the fridge every 3 days. I did not quite agree with the solution as it is a cumbersome task to defrost the fridge every 3 days as it requires so much of cleaning after defrosting.

                              However, your executive hit the defrost button in the morning and left. By evening again there was huge amount of ice in the freezing section. So actually the fridge did not even function properly for a single day. If it is not working without ice for a single day, then how come it will stay without ice for 3 days.

                              I again complained to your customer care and the most unacceptable solution that i got from your executive is that we can change the thermostat. I am not crazy that i will change the thermostat in a brand new fridge. This is just not acceptable.

                              I complained again and also spoke to your area sales head (Mr pramod) at parihar enterprises, noida and said that the product is faulty as it has issues with its main work. Mr pramod said that they would look into the matter but got no response

                              Again i got a call that another executive would visit for inspection. I have refused the request for visit as i am tired of these unnecessary visits from your technicians who have no clue of the issue and are trying to ignore the multiple issues in the fridge.

                              I have been using fridge for years and i know how it works. I am sure that the product is faulty as it has so many issues as stated above. I am ready to escalate this matter to the highest level because we trust your brand and this is what we get in return. I will not keep this faulty product and want a replacement of the same.

                              I am waiting for your action on the issue and request you to replace the product at the earliest.

                                My 9months old 215 liters whirlpool refrigerator catched fire. The first observation made was the fire appeared from backside left bottom in refrigerator. Due to this product, my entire house caught on fire and incurred loss a huge loss. The company refused to pay for damages but the assistant sales manager of bangalore location mr. Niranjan achar has verified the photos and videos taken by his company technician and agreed to replace the fridge. I was then asked to select the model which i need in same 215 liters capacity. I have selected a higher value refrigerator for that they asked me to pay rs 2000. I have paid the same through dd on whirlpool india limited. But now they are not ready to replace the refrigerator because i don't have old completely burnt refregrator. It was thrown it due to their own company technician had told me that the burnt fridge is not required any more.

                                Please be informed that as mentioned above I do not have damaged/burnt refregrator with me. It was thrown away on confirmation by whirlpool technician and now he is claiming that he has not informed to through away the burnt refregrator. Hope you will help for replacement.

                                  I have purchased whirlpool window ac on 7th april 2018 from ashish electronics, gurgaon.in march 18 when technician from umang service (Whirlpool authorised dealer) visited for wet service, he suggested for paint/ coating on cooling coil to prevent leakage & assured trouble free service for next 2~3 years. They took window ac to service centre for treatment & wet service & charged me rsb1000. When the technician installed ac i told him cooling was not upto mark but technician said it may be due to voltage & left. After that cooling deteriorated & ultimately in may ac stopped cooling.
                                  When technician visited he told there was gas leakage & asked for ~rs 2500. Even paint / coating has peeled off from coils
                                  Now what's is authorised dealer responsibility & why false promises were made? Why i was charged rs 1000? Why was substandard paint used that peeled off in one month?
                                  Mr pankaj, umang service owner is not even ready to talk on this issue.
                                  Why you have appointed such dealer like umang who are only spoiling whirlpool image.
                                  Now is whirlpool product has only one year life.
                                  As a company whirlpool india had to take responsibility & take immediate action to resolve my problem without any charge.

                                  AC Purchase date is 7th April 2017
                                  Very much un-professional and in-efficient service center with bad staff behavior.
                                  They charged 3000 Rupees from me to repair a AC problem and committed a 3 month warranty. However, same issue occurred again next day, and when technician did not come to fix it even after calling multiple times, I visited the service center office in ashok vihar, Gurgaon along with my wife. The staff started abusing us and hit me and my wife. When I tried to call police, one the staff member snatched my mobile phone and broke it.
                                  Please don't visit this service center and never trust them for any warranty.
