I bought the whirlpool fridge on 09/22/2017 and my experience with Whirlpool customer care and the fridge(Protton series) has been horrible.
I have made a call to Whirlpool every alternate date since 11/12/2017. The first time my so called Frost free fridge started frosting, Biswajit Mondol was handling the issue. He took one month to get my replacement and their delivery guys also asked me money for delivering. Before my fridge was replaced I had to keep calling and begging and mailing Biswajit Mondal again and again due to lack of pro activeness. My Second fridge(replacement) got delivered around Dec 11th, 2017. Within a week it started frosting again and the technician visits started to acertain what was wrong but no cause was found. Now there was a bad odor circulating in the fridge due to which I also bought some stuff which their technician sold me for Rs. 200 and a stabilizer.
Since then I am interacting with Ms. Sangeeta Sarkar and it has been a nightmare. Either she is not available or she comes up with some excuse or the other to avoid me. Sometime the issue is stuck with the Quality team or she has to check with someone else for approval or she wants me to speak to her area sales manager but none of these hypothetical departments are reachable. Till date I do not have a concrete update from anyone. I do not want to take this issue further hence I would want Whirlpool to return all my money back (The fridge+stabilizer and the stuff which keeps odor away). They have harassed me since 3 months and I've made nearly more than 100 calls and mails to them without any resolution. I have a very bad experience and lost all faith in Whirlpool.

    V ve purchased fridge model ff2d2554s/2013 sl. Noina[protected] from pnv agency mavelikkara 4yrs ago (29/042014). We are very disappointed bcoz it has burnt. Inside the refridgerator fully burnt. We complaint to pnv, but they says they have no responsibility and only for that company. Electrician checked and says no electric pblm. Hope ur positive response.

      Only while spinning heavy noise is coming, i have raised service call (Cn[protected]). On 20th jan'2018 at 1.30pm whirlpool technician by name d. Yuvaraj ([protected]) addressed the service request (Cn[protected], and he told water went into barring due to that noise is coming. He put 1200 grams (12 packets) of whirlpool scalegon powder in washing machine and charged me rs.2, 280/- for this. I expressed my unacceptance of the amount charged and argued with him and his manager, finally his manager instructed him to charge rs. 2, 160/-, i paid the same in cash. He left my home by telling that few more service call i have to address, while return back to office will come and take your machine to service center for repair. He didn't came back.
      Next day 21st jan'18 deelip ([protected]) came @12.30pm, dismantled the machine, he took wash tub along with motor to service center.
      Next day 22nd jan'18 deelip ([protected]) came @10.30am along with wash tub and motor, told to us that he changed the spares like oil seal, bearing, drive hub, drive assembly, mounting plate. He fitted it and operated the machine in spin mode, while it is running we observed and told to him noise is not reduced to normal level, he ignored our observation and left. Same day we tried to wash clothes, but huge vibration while machine in wash mode and alarming no water signal. We called to customer service center and reopened the service request (Cn[protected] and escalated the issue to mrs. Sravanee.
      On 24th jan'18 yuvaraj ([protected]) @3.30pm came and observed the noise and vibration, he changed one of the spare and applied solution like m-seal, asked us to run machine from tomorrow only.
      On 25th jan'18 we run the machine, while it is in spin mode abnormal noise and in addition to that vibration is also coming.
      I am requesting you people, please assign this service request to another good technician, who will address this in proper way. Thanks in advance.

        I did the mistake by buying the whirlpool fridge,

        I am getting calls to enroll for amc, every second day.
        I shared couple of times that i am not interested and pls donot call me, but getting the calls every second day. I sent the email to [protected]@whirlpool.com 10 days back, no response of email and even today got the call for amc.

        If whirlpool will run amc campaign this way, people will not buy new products as well. I am not going to buy whirlpool product in future and sharing the same with my known circle.

          Even After completion of 24 hours from raising complaint, no one responded on my complaint. This shows the level of negligence towards customer grievances.
          Dear Whirlpool India Customer Service Team,

          After changing the barring, Still Noise is not reduced to normal level, In addition to that Abnormal Vibration is coming with wobbling while washing machine in the wash mode. Really we got disappointed with service of Whirlpool Technicians.(Mr.Delip.N [protected]). He didn't clearly checked the performance of machine in all possible levels. Kindly arrange a good technician to reinstate the performance of my washing machine, As soon as possible.

            This is to state that i had bought a whirlpool washing machine fully automatic front loading sports 6th sense, few years back only and the lock of the door has got spoiled, due to which the machine is lying nonfunctional,
            I have been continuously, calling up the customer care, the service engineers have come, but every time the have the same excuse that the company doesn't have the spare parts with them, and we are helpless...
            Can some one explain if the company has made a product how can they say that the spare parts are unavailable with them.
            If that is the case either they refund us the money or give another washing machine as a replacement..
            Please take a immediate action, since its been long time now

              I had bought whirlpool sports 6 model a front loading fully automatic washing machine, few years back,
              The door lock of the machine got broken,
              It is very shameful to state that in spite of several reminders and complains with customer services, the company servicing engineers have been visiting since past few months, but very surprisingly that the company doesn't have the spare part, due to which the machine is lying and not of any use.
              Can someone explain what should i do with this non functional washing machine,

                Dear team,

                I have registered subject complaint on saturday, jan 13th for my top load washing machine which is out of warranty.

                Ram kumar visited and suggested to get the tsp replaced and dealing done for 5200 and 2200 respectively.

                Machine was picked up on same day by cool care enterprise and delivered on jan 16th evening.

                When used for the first time, we found that bar is not moving but the 1-2 1-2 sound is still coming.

                Today morning i have called them at their mobile number and explained the problem. Since then they are not picking up my phone calls and also there is no response from them.

                Please suggest if i need to go to some other forum to get this addressed or if you would be able to support?

                  Wbite magic purchased in feb 2016 with 2 years warranty and 2 yrs extended warranty.
                  Machine not working properly (Wet clothes, spin with noise, vibrations etc)
                  2 complains, reported ok performance without any repairs.
                  Problem persists
                  And increased as the time passes by.
                  I m told there is a problem with the motor of the equipment and needs to be repaired

                    I have submitted a service request hd[protected] on 21st dec for a complaint in my microwave touchpad (Few keys of touchpad were not working properly). They sent a technician named chandrasekhar and he told he will come with a new touchpad. But he couldn't resolve the issue even after trying for long time on his next visit. He then told pcb needs to be changed. After his trial n error my microwave had more problems. None of the keys were working properly. And that technician was not even attending my call. So again i complained to hyderabad whirlpool service centre. They send another senior technician named mohammed. He came and did his round of trials. And he took the touchpad &pcb part of the oven but didn't turn up until now. Whenever i call them they r giving lame excuses or they won't attend the call. I want to escalate this issue to higher level. I want my issue fixed otherwise i will file a complaint with all the call and cctv records.

                    This is to inform you that many times it has been complained to Whirlpool care but on one is attending my problem.

                    Earlier also this has been informed to company and their engineer changed compressor and took charged of Rs. 6000 but still loud sound is coming from body and there is no proper cooling.

                      My self sanjeev goyal, i bought one microwave from very bad company of india called whirlphool india, which was the bigest mistake. Two time the product stop working, two time company is not able to repair the product, they change the product once after taking money, second time it is not working since last four to five month, they aggry to change while saying that the new bill will come to you the gurranty of bill will be start form current date, but at the time of delivery they are sending product to me on the chhalan of service center without bill and without gurranty, very bad commitment form mr. Dhiraj, area head service haryana, service centre ambala ishan service care ambala city, also very bad technical team of spport at customer care in whirlphool india, very much harashment to the customer i suggest to all the people not buy any product of whirlpholl india never buy or visit any showroom of whirlpholl if you don’t want to be worry.

                          We are not getting fine products from whirlpool.. Within 7 days our refrigerator is not working even after visit of technician 2 times it's not working and having technical issues they are denying... Not to get replacement...                             Yesterday engineer of whirlpool came for dis-installation of ac, he instead of opening simple nut damaged the whole copper pipes and cable fitting., i was getting refund if faulty ac, their engineer as a revenge damaged my personal pipe and fittings.
                            The attitude of service team is very unprofessional and rude, as per them customer is wrong and their engineers are perfect.

                            Yesterday whirlpool engineer came for dis-installation of ac for providing refund of faulty ac, he was very untrained, he instead of opening a nut to remove indoor unit of ac, he damaged the copper pipes with plier and break tbe pipes instead of opening, dye to this i will have to complete all the fitting of 10 mtrs. Pipe and cable. Supervisor and area manager is not ready to hear customer issues, approach of company is very unprofessional and rude.
                            I got a complaint with a refrigeration that I have purchased From Kollam Bismi Appliances, Kerala, India. But I have lost my purchase bill. So in order to claim warranty I request u to proceed a duplicate bill for me.

                              We had purchased the above washing machine (Sl. No. [protected]- model 11582) on 25/06/2011.
                              Our machine had frequent failures on pcbs.

                              Failed so far three times -

                              First incident replaced with amc and recent two incidents were not captured within amc scheme.

                              Second incident 05/05/2017- high end pcb has been replaced at the cost of rs 4850 by your authorized service partner (A. S. Associates, ecr road kottivakkam, chennai)

                              Third incident 08/12/2017- mid end pcb and inlet valve has been replaced at the cost of rs 7000 by the same service team.

                              All the above three incidents were happened in 3 different (Rented) houses and hence no suspicion on in put supply and also there were no issue on other home appliances with pcb being used at our home.

                              Was there any fuse protection has been given in your product, even if there are any fault incoming current, to prevent failure of machine parts?

                              Also kindly confirm the above batch test reports at factory and also revisit your type test approval for the same model.

                              In total we have spent about rs 15, 000 on pcb board related issues, whereas the machine cost itself was rs 15, 466.

                              Hence, as your customer i'm not at all happy with this high amount expenditure on repair due to product failures.

                              Kindly consider this as a genuine customer complaint and to up keep customer satisfaction, please reimburse the expenses for the above two repairs done.

                                I bought Minerala Ultra Water Filter one of the most demanding water filter in the market on 15 October 2017 as a Diwali celebration gift for my parents who are old and live alone in the house. We lodged the request for it's installation on the next day i.e. 16 October 2017 for which the installation was made by service engineer on 20 October 2017.

                                Just next day of it's installation the filter stopped working for 3 days as it's charging socket was not supplying current to the filter and the same day evening it suddenly started working with all stored water in it started getting overflowed from it.

                                We again registered out the complaint to which the service engineer came after so many calls and declared that the UV filter is completely damaged and need to be replaced.

                                It was only the initial days only since we brought the filter so we requested for exchange of the product as it was giving problem regularly some or the another but the engineer refused and told that the part will only get replaced.

                                It was that day and 2 months still none of the engineer came to our house we made a lot of calls to customer care and local whirlpool office but none replied instead got rude and are making our request so much delayed.

                                My parents are old and are diabetes patient and still because of such problem they are running to value plus store in Dehradun, Uttarakhand(India), to local whirlpool store but form that day the are making them run from here to there without giving any solution to the problem. It's like a biggest mistake of mine to buy your product.

                                The product is defected and it is your duty and responsibility to change or repair the product but the customer care here is behaving like all fault is of our's. The local whirlpool store manager Mr. Harish is such a rude person who does not even know how to work on customer service end.

                                Really disappointed with whirlpool customer services team.

                                Kindly make the necessary intervention in the matter and take necessary action. Hoping to get positive response here.

                                  Hi, my whirlpool washing machine (Under amc) stopped working in a couple of weeks after replacing the motherboard. There was water leakage from the bottom just before the machine went dead. Immediately i lodged a complaint to the customer care on nov 2 and there after in a span of almost a month, 4 times service persons visited my apartment until they realised it was just a broken fuse. They replaced the fuse and charged rs 200 as fuse is not covered under amc. When i asked about the water leakage issue, the technician said it is rectified and subsequently, closed the case. But the same day, when i started using the machine, water started pouring out even more from the bottom... Again i called up the customer care the next day (23rd nov) and registered another complaint. The next day, the same technician visited and identified the issue and said, the spare is not available until next week. Since then, many people promised that technicians will come tomorrow, next day so on and so forth... Many days and weeks past, no response from whirlpool.

                                  I request a refund for my amc.

                                    Called up whirlpool customer care on 3rd december 2017 for the service of my whirlpool chimney / hood and was assured of the same by 4th december. No body called for the whole day on 04th dec, i called the customer care again on 05th dec and was told that a call back is being arranged in the next few minutes.

                                    Waited for approx 03 hours but to no avail and called the customer care again and was given the number of a whirlpool employee mr bhawesh singh who connected me to mr mahto who seems to be taking care of the customer service.

                                    Mr mahto told me that he will be calling back in the next 10 minutes but to no avail. Called up mr bhawesh singh once again but he disconnected the phone and i subsequently got a call from mr mahto saying that none of his engineers are available but he will try.

                                    I called up the corporate office at gurgaon to speak to someone senior in customer service they connected me to the same customer service call centre again and a representative namely ms manisha spoke to me saying that she will connect me to the care manager haryana for the same.

                                    Got a call from the service partner post that call during which he doubled the price of this service for no reason. I was told that for comprehensive cleaning they charge around rs 800.00 all along by the customer service during the previous discussion and now this representative of the service partner named mr deepak added another 700.00 towards visit fee.

                                    What kind of customer service standards are these. I am already suffering with a very bad product of theirs (A refrigerator that i had bought last year and is absolutely faulty, they are charging me for that too).

                                    In a time when the corporations are thinking of delivering customer experience or customer delight, whirlpool india is not evening providing the customer service that is optimum, leave aside customer delight.

                                    Very bad experience. One thing is for sure, we have been buying whirlpool india products in the whole of my family all along and i now have lost complete faith in the brand.

                                    Whirlpool India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    My whirlpool refrigerator (S.No: INC[protected] on May 2012) Circuit board (located close to compressor) is not working now and got to know that this part/ replacement is no longer sold by whirlpool.If i scrap it i wil get Rs 500- 1000 against Rs17000 i paid 5 yrs back.

                                      Company post sale service is very poor, they discontinued models within three years and forced customers to purchase their new models. Changing filters are very costly, service person are very rude and misbehaving, they do not cooperate and not give number/ contact details even email id of higher authority, once you purchase it you will be only ram bharose
                                      There will be no person to look after you, your views will not be considered, these people are very adamant
                                      I purchased one water purifier on insistence of dealer, i was of the opinion to purchase of reputed company kent / aquaguard but dealer insisted me to purchase this one, now with in three years i have paid more than cost as amc but when flc destroyed, company people are raising their hand that company has changed the model and now you have to purchase new one, now your existing machine is scrape area service manager is very rude person and he just misbehave with me

                                        I have bought refrigerator in aug-17 and it got defected 3 times in 2 months, 3rd time 4 times technician and was not able to ascertain the problem, since last month company is saying we will replace your refrigerator and i getting false commitments, even company people mis-behaves during call and no response. I am suffering even investing amount in new refrigerator, now they are pressurizing to withdraw the complaint.

                                        If company like whirlpool is plundering in 2 months than what will happen later because they are selling with warranty of 10 years, in that situation customer will cry and die but no one will listen
