Our washing machine panel started showing problems around 8 months back and we logged a complaint as we had an amc with whirlpool. Technicians visited several times but did not rectified the fault. They agreed that the control panel needs to be changed but to out great surprise refused to change it as they stated that 'the cost of the panel will be deducted from their service center if they changed it etc.'
After several complaints, the issue remains intact.
I am not sure what kind of service is such a brand offering where they charge ~7k for 3 years amc and refuse to correct the fault.
I think the service center people are wasting time and waiting for our amc to expire so that they can charge us the money.
I have again logged a complaint on 11th june'17 which has again been assigned to the same service center. I am not sure till when do we have to follow up and get harassed. They do not even regard our old age and trouble us to the level of extremity.
Hope to see a solution soon, not sure when...

    I am owner of a whirlpool refrigerator model ff2d255 4s/2013/ gross vol: 242literes. Recently it stopped working and first sent an sms to 58558 and after 2 days contacted the shop in trivandrum from where i bought the refrigerator. Two days later, if i am not mistaken on the 8th of june, a service personal representing your firm came to my house to inspct the refrigerator. He told me that gas has to be filled and someone else will come for that. I am still waiting for that. I would like state that i am very unhappy over the matter.       The representative of whirlpool for sale their product makes false commitement at aditya vision raja bazar, patna with the support of manager of the shop. Even they may misbehave if you approach for service after sale. I purchased split ac. Installation was not done due to non availability of spare even after repetitive request before purchase for spare. They orders to customer at night 08 pm to bring spare from market if you wish for installation. Customer care of whirlpool is authorised to lodge complain against these people. Service provider contact no also remains in switched off mode. No more words to narrate. So please be careful with company as well as mentioned shop.

        I had purchased a whirlpool double door refrigerator from vijay sales andheri west shop on delivery it had a dent visiting technician from whirlpool had recorded my complaint and posted dented fridge photo to the company he assured it was a dent occurred during delivery and that i would get its replacement within 10 days inspite of 10 days lapse i have no feedback on the replacement

          Dear team,

          I am writing this email having lost faith in whirlphool customer care & service center.

          I have an whirlphool split a/c complain raised was water leaking from a/c.
          Complaint raised on 5th june. Complaint # cn[protected].

          The concerned service engineer venkat (Mobile # [protected]) called me on 5th june & asked for the complaint explained & told he will attend but when called in the evening he told he had forgot & will come next day.

          On 6th june again the concerned service engineer didn't came & had delegated the activity some unknown persons. & the unknown persons checked told to fill the gas in the compressor. Then the leakage issue will be solved.
          The amount charged was 3800 rs for refilling & 520 rs for service charges total 4320 rs but when we called the customer care they said it will be around 2500 rs, when we asked for the bill they haven't brought the bill book.
          So we withheld 300 rs & asked for the bill. They told they will come next day to give bill.

          When asked about the gas refilling pricing very bad attitude was shown by the service engineers (Venkat)

          When they came on 7th june the water leakage issue didn't resolved.
          But no proper justification as provided.

          I have requested the customer care to reopen the ticket but not done by the team. Instead provided another ticket complaint # cn[protected].

          But still there are un answered questions.

          Why my issue did'nt solved but ticket closed?
          Who are the authorised service engineers to do the activity?
          Why whirlpool is not fixing any liability on third part vendors if they are servicing the complaints properly.

          We see here clear dissatisfaction
          Need to understand what is the exact charge for gas refilling why we are overcharged?

          If my concerns are not resolved it will be escalated to the next level or the top echelons of whirlphool.

            Whirlpool refrigerator bought in[protected] and i lodge a service request on[protected]. A service technician came from mothers home care (Service partner of whirlpool) check and conveyed that there is a problem in compressure in which gas has to fill.

            Whirlpool outsources service part to vendors but the vendor mentioned as authorized service partner charged as much they like. If i ask about this in whirlpool customer care, they replied that make a call in front of service technician. There is no proper response from whirlpool customer care also.

              I bought whirlpool automatic washing machine last year, 2016 january from vijay sales, pune which was worth rs.22, 000/- we received 10 years warranty on the same machine.

              We were supposed to get the first free servicing for washing machine in jan 2017. I got call from whirlpool service center but agent never visited my home even after frequent follow ups (More than 8 times) still so far. For every follow up, they are saying they will be sending technician but no one visited so far.

              Being automatic machine, it should get serviced on time to check everything functioning properly on not. Also, there are lots of small threads of cloths which gets stuck into the machine those needs to be removed otherwise it will stop functioning.

              If i could have known, the issue with the servicing of company, i could have gone to different brand as there are definitely better options in the market.
              For now, please get this sorted out as soon as possible. Its already 5 month of delay from service center.in the future, i will be more careful with choosing the brand at least not whirlpool.

                I made complaint regarding non functioning of my A.C. Sr. No. of my AC is KRA[protected]Model No. 11112) AMC amount of Rs. 12422/- was paid by me vide Bill No. 10494 and it exists till 14.07.2017. Now I have made complaints vide CN [protected] dated 15.04.2017 CN [protected] dated 26.04.2017, CN [protected] dated 06.05.2017 CN [protected] dated 06.05.2017 and CN [protected] dated 24.05.2017. Against my complaint the present service Company (Mother's Homecare, Chennai) attended and replaced the Indoor Unit for a cost of Rs. 8500/- vide Bill No. 4466 dated 27.05.2017. This is against my rights. While warrant is still available they have charged Rs. 8500/- The MRP of Indoor Unit is only Rs. 8100/- Why they have penalised me even my AC is under AMC. Kindly see that the amount paid by me for replacement o[censored]nit is refunded

                  • purchased fridge on 21-may-2017 at bajaj electronics, nacharam branch
                  • as per sales person, fridge will be delivered on 22-may-2017 eod. But fridge has been delivered on 23-may-2017 @ 02.00 pm
                  • after delivery, when we check the fridge condition…….. Ice tray box has scratches and ice tray box fitment was not correct. It bends almost 15-20 degrees.
                  • as per discussion with delivery person, wirlpool technician will take care all issues.
                  • whirlpool technician came to my house on 24-may-2017 for demo and he is trying to sell his own products like stabilizer, cover and stand.
                  • whirlpool technician also agree with the scratches and ice tray wrong fitment. He said, he will come back with new ice box tray on 27-may-2017. But he didn’t come till today with new ice tray box
                  • friday (26-may-2017), we switched on fridge (Auspicious day) ……. We observed cooling is not working. We kept water bottle in the fridge almost 4-5 hours but water not cooled.
                  • we gave a call on saturday (27-may-2017) morning to whirlpool technician. He came to my house on saturday (27-may-2017) afternoon. He is trying to convince me like fridge is working fine and no issues. But after long discussion with technician, he said he will come on monday (29-may-2017) with temperature reading meter to check the temperature.
                  • i gave a call to bajaj electrician sales person (Srihari) on sunday (28-may-2017) and explained all issues. He said he will check with technician on monday and will get back to us.
                  • monday (29-may-2017), technician came with temperature reading meter and took readings. All readings are lower limits.

                    I am struggling to resolve the issue in my whirlpool 360 full automatic top load machine from last 28 days. Technician visited multiple times but issue not get resolved. Issue is known to whole top level services team of haryana. No one is taking responsibility to resolve it. This is the worst service experience in my life.

                        I called for repair of my refrigerator twice on 9/05/2017 and 20/05/2017. On the former date we were told that the deep frosting was not working properly due to inefficient working of the fan. Later we found out that the refrigerator was not cooling properly. We called on the latter date and the agent changed the part of the fridge which wasn't working. He took rs.2200 as charges. After 4 days we found out that the fridge wasn't cooling as expected. We tried to contact customer service number but we were told to wait and no other agents were sent.

                          Cooling problem in my whirlpool refrigerator since April and despite getting it fixed by paying and thermostat change it is not working.Please get it fixed at the earliest.The company has sent the engineer on 5th April 2017 and he charged for the service and thermostat and still it is not working.

                            This is to bring to your notice about incompetent service providers you send and the massive loss that we have suffered because of his inexperience. On the 5th of april 2017 we had placed a service order (Satisfaction code 275 for sr numbe bg[protected]) for our whirlpool microwave which had stopped functioning all of a sudden. We particularly asked for a company personnel as we did not want to show a local electrician who could misguide as. The person who arrived from vibrant techno services came and after checking declared that the mother board is not working. This would incur a cost of around 4000. Also there was no guarantee that the machine would run after that. Once the motherboard was repaired he would be able to tell if further anything else would require replacement. Hence he suggested that since the microwave was anyways 5 year old and may run for another 1 or 2 years to consider buying a new one.
                            After weighing the options, we bought a new microwave for 20, 000. The person who came to instal discovered that the plug point was faulty. We realised that the old whirlpool microwave was completely functional when we connected it to a different plug. So it was a faulty plug point and not a faulty microwave.
                            This shows how casual and irresponsible the service providers are. Therefore i would want you to immediately take action againt such callous and infeccient person. At the same time we should be compensated for the mental agony, monetary loss and unnecessary harrasment. Expecting a speedy response from your side,

                            It is surprising that by offering a AMC on a discarded microwave you all feel the problem is "RESOLVED".Do you really feel satisfied with This?What about the Huge monetary loss that we have had to endure.We would expect an equal compensation.Let the person RESPONSIBLE for this bear the expense.This will make him realise not to be CASUAL in his attitude

                              We bought a ro of whirlpool minerala 8.5 ltr, in month of oct 2016 on online (Diwali offer) that time there were offer of comprehensive warranty of product for one year means complete warranty of membrane and filter.

                              In the may 2017, there was an issue in ro so your technician came and changed pre filter and we paid 450/- for that. Next day again issues arise then your technician say need to change internal filter and the customer has to pay for it.

                              Then we call to your service center i told them why your technician asking for money for replacing filter when the filter is in warranty and i explain them everything that we bought at the time of diwali when that offer was running.

                              Then they checked in their backend for that offer & they agreed for such offer was exist but now they were demanding the coupon you receive against this offer in the box.

                              I told them we didnt recd any coupon then they said without coupon its chargeable.

                              Then i mailed to your customer support, even he said for pre filter you have to pay but for filter and membrane was a part of offer. I have a mail also stating that.

                              Now they saying for availing such offer you need to show the vouchers, i told them i didn't recd the voucher inside the box.

                              I request him you kindly check the date of purchase and that time running offers, in that context he agreed there were offer but subject to show of voucher.

                              I requested avinsah sindhi (Customer support) arrange a call back from seniors or give me their mail address but he didnt cooperate and didnt try to understand customer point of view, very rigid.

                              To conclude, very disappointment and dishearten to write on consumer forum just because whirlpool team not able to understand the customer point of view.

                              Just because i didnt get the voucher inside the box you will not fulfill your obligations it very sad and agony.

                              I need a clarifications on that on priority basis. Otherwise i have to move on to consumer court.

                                Hope you are doing good!
                                I have no solution to my issues as now after service done by whirlpool service centre they had damaged my washing machine completely rather to eliminate issue.

                                Now its tub broken out and it was full of grease when it was delivered to me from service center. This grease cause to damage my cloth when it spin drum then its spread all over drum and damage costly cloth. However grease clean by myself from inside the steel drum but this grease was used on suspension road and outer part of drum wheich cant bee seen from naked eye. So improper work done by tech in service station.
                                Due to negligence of whirlpool this tub was not fitted properly during service and cause to tilted to one side, when spin it is giving irritating noise so the issue remain same even worsen now with tilted tub damaging mechanical stuff. They also removed foam on each side which used as cushion for drum. I also found that the suspension rods were changed by service center had lot of rust while my rods had no rust.

                                This negligence cause me to loose trust on whirlpool brand and asking to the company to "return full money of machine" or replace
                                With new one.

                                Its a big mental harassment and if it not resolved then i will go to the consumer court for this harassment/ negligence from company.

                                Summary :
                                This machine had issue since beginning reported as "leave stain after wash", ticket had opened in beginning days of purchase with customer care and tech who visited diagnosed faulty machine took copy of bill and assured me to replace the machine. But nothing happened later it started noise and improper washing was still a issue. This case was pending since long with no solution and gradually causing so much mental stress to me.

                                Thanks to expedite it and personally intervene into this issue.

                                I hope that I had mentioned each things clearly, there is full negligence shown since day one by Whirlpool without giving complete solution . On sending washing machine to service center cause complete damage to the washing machine . Now coming with this statement by you have no rights .

                                Since Negligence cost a lot to me financially / mentally harassment . Technician had visited my home and inspected washing machine . he had agreed on negligence done by Whirlpool same had written in Job sheet .

                                This tilt issue cause damage mechanical / parts damage also grease damage my valuable cloths .

                                This machine was delivered to me saying its all working fine and MOhit from whirlpool told me that it is serviced with special guideline to whirlpool . now i understand what guideline those were as to damage my machine completely .

                                Though they had asked me to pay 900 Rs for servicing which i paid although issue was with machine since day one . I have shown Mohit Care manager of whirlpool that I am using double protection one filter provided by Whirpool cost more than 2000 Rs and other KENT Softener cost 5000 but still machine due to faulty never give good result and full of stain and heavy noise .

                                I again insist to refund or replace washing machine . A case is written consumer complaint forum online . soon i shall planning to go to consumer forum .

                                Whirlpool company is worst company to provide services even they damaged your product in their service center during servicing it and delivered faulty product after damaging it ..

                                Worst company ...Please do not buy any appliance from them ..very bad experience ..

                                  Hello, I am from Chennai living near by Nanganallur/Madipakkam. I have a 4 years old Whirlpool washing machine, it has got problem, i called the customer care number (Complaint number- PR[protected]) and they arranged a service center guy to attend the problem, the next day a person from the service center came and told that the issue is with the electronic board which is at the top hence he told that he will either try to service the electronic board or will replace with the new board and we said ok to it and after 2 days he came with a board and replaced with the old one in the machine and it was working fine and I paid nearly Rs2500+ amount, after 55 days (March-14)the machine again is not working and shows the same error. This time with the use of the Bill/visiting card given to me I called the same person and told that the machine is not working, he came and identified that the problem is with the board again and he removed the board and took that to do service and the next day he called me and said that the board which is replaced is also not working now and I have to pay again rs2500+ now. i was shocked and asked him to explain why should I give money since the same was changed few weeks then he replied that the board he replaced first time is an old working condition board pulled from some other old Washing machine and not the new one. I asked a Question to him that I have never told you to replace with an old one then how could you do that. there is no logic in replacing an old board with other old board. I asked his Superior contact number he said he will give that in some time but he didn't turn back and now today (05/18/2017) he is not attending my call and the board he has took from my machine is with him now. How can I handle these kind of issue? I need a solution for this.

                                  Thank you, Your service center person contacted me yesterday and said that the service provided to me is not an authorized whirlpool vendor. the Toll free number that I called to register about my machine fault is not whirlpool customer care number. Actually I googled my problem and got the toll free number from there. I don't know was there a chance that I have reached out to some other toll free number who had sent a unauthorized vendor. Still the person who took the board from my machine is not picking the call. Please advice what to do in this situation

                                      I am very sorry to file my same complaint for the door of my refrigerator again and again but at the same time feel sorry for the poor service being provided by whirlpool. Today again i got the call from service center and the concerned gentleman advised me to get the part repaired as new part is not available from company. My main concern is that a part which is made of plastic can not be repaired effectively and it will not work at the site which moves may times a day. so I refused to get it repaired . My request to company is kindly get the effective solution for my problem asap so that i can manage some other issue not the fridge only.

                                      I have ordered whirlpool mastermind split AC on last year in online. In outdoor unit, coil is made up of aluminum instead of copper . So now it started creating problem.

                                        I bought a whirlpool fridge and 3 windows ac. Though the products are good but if it gives any problem, the service centres (3rd party) folks are unprofessional and always look out for replacing components so that they can make easy money. I complained about my fridge icing in the lower part (Vegetable) and they sent a mechanic ashok m # [protected] and said thermostat is not working and replaced it for inr 2300/- and said fridge is working now. He even open the freezer and have shown me fan which is fitted there which was intact and he couldn't find any issue with the fan at that point in time. After he left i have noticed that fridge stopped working at all and came after 2 days and since he couldn't find the issue removed the fan in front of me which was absolutely fine, he has forcefully removed a blade of the fan when i went out for a minute and shown me that the fan blade is broken hence the fridge is not cooling. How come the freezer was working if the fan was broken at the first place, then secondly in front of me when he removed it, the fan was intact and how come it gets broken when after removing he put it on floor and i could see it intact. Since i have escalated the issue with whirlpool area service manager, he forcefully break it and then replaced it. His incharge m # [protected] in an earlier occasion calls me and tells me that umang (Dont recollect the name) or some other service centre who does ac repairing for whirlpool, he said they sent new recruited untrained mechanics for repairing and asked me to lodge complaint with whirlpool area manager and shared his no with me. All these service centres blames each other but won't provide proper service to the customer and blames that since you got it repaired earlier from outside, this issue is coming. Without any issue of the thermostate they replaced it by charging me and not able to diagnose the actual problem. I have got my fridge repaired from an outside mechanic yesterday since then its working fine. Though good products but the outsourced service guys are frauds and the brand is damaging its brand value and loosing customers

                                        Just to add that upon contacting the Mechanic Incharge ( Dont know name) M # [protected], he very unprofessionally spoke to me and said 'Jo karna hai kar lo' mera yeham se engineer ko nahi bhejunga.. Bahar se kaam karwane se fridge nahi teek hota hai fir hume phone kartha hai etc. Without even diagnosing the issue, Mechanic Ashok replaced thermostate and fridge stopped working .

                                        Incharge is the same guy who contacted me when my AC was not cooling and some other agency sent their service mechanic, he asked me to escalate it to the Whirlpool new area manager and has shared his contact no with me.

                                        Ultimately i have got my fridge repaired by an external person and its working fine now.
