Woodland shoe — Poor Quality

I am regular user of woodland shoes, but now the product quality goes down and down . Few days before, i bought one pair of shoe model G-4085. just after 20 days, i had return to shop for repair (sticking the sole) and asked the sale's boy that, "company did any quality check on it or not". He just smiled and said it will done in 3 days, thank you.

Woodland shoe — irresponible service

i purchased a wood land shoe from AERO CLUB, WOOD LAND FACTORY OUT LET, MAARTHAHALLI, BANGALORE on Dec-2007.but after two months the whole colour faided and the back counter is completly gone.then i went to that shop for repairing because the company providing one year warranty.but they asked me some money for repairing.At that time i argued with them then they told me like they are ready to repair the colour faided parts and remaining will be chargeble.i aggreed with them.but again they cheated me..they repaired very very badly and they not at all repaired the colour faided part and they are argued with me and told me like they are not ready to clean the colour faided part.
at last they charged Rs: 220.
Now my Shoe is looking like ten year old one.Repair slip no is 544, Dated 07/03/2008. RTQ[protected]. Kindly please take necesary action as soon as possible.

I have purchased a shoe from A to Z Fashion, Sector 17, Chandigarh but the sole of both the shoes have been cracked and useless. Then i approached the shopkeeper for its replacement because of poor quality sole pasted on the shoe of very famous branded company i.e. Woodland. But the shopkeeper has refused to replace the same and charged 600 rupees for the replacement of sole only. So i have decided to complaint the MD of Woodland. But today when i read all above complaints against the woodland company then i knew that the reputation of the company will be no longer in coming time and also know that the complaint to MD is useless and wastage of time only.

I have purchased a woodland shoe worth Rs. 1800/- from A to Z Fashion, Sector 17, Chandigarh about 8-9 months back and worn the shoes approximate 100 times. But it is regretted to point out that the sole of both the shoes have cracked and become useless. It is a very serious lapse on the part of such a Branded Company WOODLAND. I approached the shopkeeper for its solution then he charged Rs. 600/- from me for replacement and sole and not ready to replace it free of cost.

When I approached the shopkeeper for the solution of my broken shoe sole then the salesman of A to Z Fashion, Sector 17, Chandigarh told me that you have not worn the shoe regularly. His means that i have to worn the shoe daily all the times the sole of the shoe have been made for this. The sole of the shoe have been broken for less use of it. It means the sole was already reduces its life even when it was in the shop and start loosing its life from the date of manufacturing.

Dear sir,
I purchased woodland shoes from a showroom in Noida(Delhi-NCR) but within months it has broken. The dealer is not intrested in replacing them. He is even not ready to repair them. It has shaken my confidence in woodland.
What should I do? Should I again buy new woodland shoes and thus waste my money? Would you please do something? I am waiting for your response

Id bought a black shoe "SM 003Black 43 footware" (Rs 5000 odd) from one of your reatil stores in cochin during the month of may 08. after wearing ti a few times i found that it had some kind of imbalance.. where i was loosing/ tripping on my steps...

Sicne i dont have a show room close to tuticorin, i decided to give it back from where i purchased it.
gave it by end of August 08.. and explained the problem.. as well as i dont come often since im located far away.. and would most prob come once in a month or so plz rectify it..

they gave me a simple answer lets see, were not sure what we can do... and etc etc etc.. the courtesy never went through when u buy an expensive shoe and most importantly trusting the brand...

id gone there twice in the 9th month Sept 08.. frist time they said they are open but on sunday it was closed ( from alleppey to cochin only for this 70 km) .. then the next time ( from quilon to cochin only for this 160km) the shop was open, i tried out the shoes.. they did a soling inside and it was un bearably too tight and your legs dont fit inside coz the height is taken up by the soling.. and dont understand why they dont look at all these when they do some thing.. and all the more un practicle to travel all the way from quilon or alleppey to just pick up the shoes..

In the month of Oct / Nov 08 the shop courriered it and its still not reached...
the shop person is saying okay we will reduce the sole.. we will send it etc etc etc and out of the 1 yr of buying the shoe... shoe life will be 9 months by the shop keeper..

i wanted to mail in long time back itself.. but then dint find the right time to do so...
I hope there will be some effort from your side to solve this issue, beliveing in the brand and image of the company.
either pay me back, i can get another pair of shoes from other brands and need not waste time and money in making the 5000 bucks shoe a 10000 bucks shoe.

i bought a pair of shoes article no. gc0287106 size 43 colour khaki worth rs.2795/- on 13.11.10 bill no. 3778......within a month upper leather cracked like anything..after efforts i could lodge the complaint in the woodland store at atlantis mall civil lines..my claim no. was 81 dated 28.01.11..on 13,02.11 i was informed by the store that my claim has been passed & i can aval that..on 15.02.11 ivisited the store and was surprised to see that only 70% of the claim has been passed..THIS IS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE TO ME....in fact not less than 100% claim is acceptable.when store recommended for 100% claim approval how come 70% has been approved ? your shoe is torn out in a month causing mental and social harassment to the consumer and u are instead of being apologetic showing an indifferent attitude towards consumer harassing him again..it is not your discretion to decide a claim arbitrarily.
therefore it is requested that kindly approve 100% claim & take appropriate action against the person responsible for passing that 70% claim and tarnishing your consumerfriendly image..

I have purchased shoes from Woodland R1GC 00011A ASSR FOOTWEAR on date 23/07/11.
After wearing the shoes for two days it stiches came out.

I returned the shoes to Manager of AERO CLUB, Wood Land Store Pune.
But he has refused to give back money or any replacement till time I get another one.
He told me that it will take 10 days for NEW shoes. but till that time what I have to Wear?

I experienced really pathatic service from Woodland Store and this store should be banned into the India.

I AM A REGULAR USER OF WOODLAND SHOES. THE COMPANY IS WELL KNOWN IN THE SHOE INDUSTRY AND NEEDLESS TO SAY IS A BIG BRAND. THEIR SHOES ARE EXPENSIVE BUT COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE. I AM USING WOODLAND SHOES FOR THE LAST AROUND 10-15 YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THIS COMPLAINT IS REGARDING A PAIR OF WOODLAND SHOES " WOODS" WHICH I BOUGHT FOR RS 2400/- ( MRP 4000/- ) DURING SALE PERIO, SOMETIME BACK FROM WOODLAND OUTLET IN DELHI. WHEN I BOUGHT THE SHOES I WAS TOLD THAT THESE ARE LEATHER SHOES AND ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. HOWEVER AFTER WEARING ONLY FEW TIMES ONLY THE CRACKS HAVE DEVOLPED ALL OVER THE SHOE. THE SOLE OF THE SHOE IS ABSOLUTELY NEW. WHEN I WENT TO THE WOODLAND OUTLET UNDER THE BRAND NAME "WOODS" THEY AND SHOWED THEM THE SHOE THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THE SHOE. IT IS NOT EVEN LEATHER. THESE WERE IMPORTED FROM CHINA HOWEVER DUE TO COMPLAINTS THE SAID ARTICLE IS DISCONTINUED BY THE COMPANY. HOWEVER THEY TOLD ME THAT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SAME I HAVE TO GOTO WOODLAND SHOWROOM WHICH IS IN THE SAME MALL I.E. DLF PROMINADE, VASANT KUNJ AND DEFINITELY THE SHOE WILL BE REPLACED BECAUSE THERE IS MANUFACTURING DEFECT IN THAT. THE STAFF OVER THERE ALSO ACCEPTED THAT THERE IS MANFACTURING DEFECT AND THEY WILL SEND THE SAME TO THEIR FACTORY. THEY ALSO GAVE ME THE REPAIR SLIP NO. 75, DTD 15.08.2011. IT IS ALSO WORTHWHILE TO MENTION THAT I ALSO BOUGHT ANOTHER SHOE FROM THERE FOR RS 4000/- WHICH GOES TO SHOW THAT I AM LOYAL WOODLAND CUSTOMER. Dear Sir,

I (Nitin Gupta) have purchased a new Woodland Footwear (Model : G0572) from MGF Mall, Woodland Showroom (Ph :[protected] Gurgaon on 04.12.11, I have paid Rs. 2695.00 for that. At the time of purchasing, they have given me a shoe from their Desh Board to check, It was OK, after that they gave me a new piece from their store, I asked can i check this one, They told that it will be ok, but when I have wear that shoes their was so many problems in this shoes :
1. Pasting of Right leg shoes was not proper
2.Right leg shoes is not in fitting , means when I wear it bend on a single side

After 3 days, I had again gone on that showroom, they listen my complaint, but told me that replacement is not possible, they will send this pair to their Dehradun factory,I have left the pair, yesterday (16.12.11) when I go their to collect the same pair, I found that their was no improvement , still the problem was same, Now again they have put that pair & told me that again they will send it & re-check & replacement is not possible. Pls tell me that how many I will go their & they are taking the complaint lightly, Now I need the New pair of that shoes, Kidly help me for the same & suggest what can I do ?

I am writing from Hyderabad India. I have purchased woodland shoes in july 2014 as I thought that these brand has the reputation for the durability and toughness. From the day I purchased the product I have been having problem with the sole and the other parts of the shoes. I have given the shoes for repair two times till now. even though its 11 months I have bought the shoes I have not able to use them for one month fully. Please look into the issue and see to it that some justice is done. As of fact I am feeling that I have wasted my money in believing your brand .

I have purchased a Woodland formal shoes (with brand name WOODS) last year in November. The shoes sole is broken into 2 parts which i didn't expected with a brand like Woodland. The worst part is when i took the shoes to your dealer the dealer is asking 15 days to repair or replace which is not acceptable for such expensive shoes, even a local brand shoes can be used without any problem for atleast a year and if any problem occurs it is replaced on the spot, but in your case 15 days is too long. which i think is not worth for money

Is it possible i can get refund for this shoes because if the same problem comes in next comming month the shoes will not be replaced.


Woodland is known for making sturdy shoes. Based on the reputation, I purchased a Woodland shoe. However, looking at the quality of the shoe and especially the level of customer service, it is needless to say that this can be my last purchase (very very poor service) .

This is to inform you that i have bought a pair of woodland product from 1 of your showroom from Kolkata on 16/8/2010 but the pasting of the shoes have come out, why this type of product you are selling that within 1 month this happens & whose pricing is from that Rs1000.

i m vivek kumar i was buy a shoe from woodland authorise dealer. i had seen that my shoe`s pesting is geting out and then i went showroom then they recive my shoe.then gave me after 7 day.agin after 4or5 days i found thish problem.totaly i has been founded thish problem in my shoe 8 times.now this time this shoe is in woodland service center.pls help us.

this time i am not agry of woodland comp worker and copmany brcause tey are not solve my problem.they only seel the product but do not support the custmer complent.

Woodland shoe — defective

I have purchased a woodland Shoe on 30/01/09 from sector-14 woodland shoe room, Gurgaon (Plaza market, Old Delhi Road, Haryana). On that i found it was OK but after a 30 min walk i found it is having problem with left leg and right was ok. After i went to that Store and described the same.The store incharge directly told not to replace but we will rectify by sending to factory. it took around 20days. After that i got it and for 10 min it was ok, but after that same problem is continuing. What i suggest the woodland please replace this item with other, if not then please dont make others fool. I am going today to the Woodland store and convince them to keep my shoe for ever as i dont want the deffective shoes. If woodland will do this type of Business then it will be a no.-1 company recently

I have been using woodland shoes for the past 15 years and never have i seen the sole cracked. I have purchased a woodland pair from Mumbai WoodLand, Colaba showroom on 14th Jul-08, after 4 months i found out that sole of both the shoes were cracked in the middle. I have approached my nearest woodland showroom for assistance, and i found that sole for that particular model is not available with them.

Presently, the showroom in Pune, Aundh has sent it to delhi for repair of sole and will be charging me 450 for the same. But they are not sure that sole will be repaired or not. I have spent Rs.2400 for the shoes, but it seems that my money has gone waste.

This is the last thing i would expect from woodland considering their reputation for high standards.
Please suggest what i need to do.

I bought a pair of woodland shoes from your showroom at cherooty road calicut,some six months back.Now the complaint is that the sole of both the shoes started developing small cracks and the stiching between the sole and the leather got seperated on some parts.when I contacted your shop at cherooty road,they said the company will not accept for putting up new sole.please do the needfull and let me know what I am to do next.

with reference of complained of sole broken.I would like to inform you that I am yogesh belong to a middle class faimily before that I never purchase shoes more then Rs1200/-
in my whole life and I was satisfied with the qwality and durablity of shoes but After discussion with my friend He was informed me that go for Woodland shoes and After name of the company and brand purchased fresh shoes from from your retail outlet at crystal mall, near collectry circle. Banipark Jaipur Rs.2495/-
After two/three month that was broken from the sole.
Then I was visited at outlet then found that outlet is closed for forever.
I don't want to tell lies that I have MIssed the invoice, I was thinking that in these prices I will never received the complained but condition are in front of you.
Then visited at your triton mall outlet they informed me that kindly provide the invoice but I can't provide due misplace of invoice.this is my mistake.
I would like to request you that kindly give me the best solution for above request.
It is my humble request to give the proper solution.
I will highly appreciate your efforts.

WOODLAND — Defective Sole

I have purchased one pair of sandal ( GS-4048 KHK ) from the Show Room of Wood Land located at Guwahati at a discounted price of Rs 1499.00. Though the purchase was made around one year back , however sandal were used hardly for 30/40 days from the date of its purchase .
I am now surprised to find that the sole of both the sandals are cracked only on use of 30/40 days . I have shown the cracked sole to your staff of the Show Room at Guwahati and they have failed to give any explanation for the reasons for the cracked soles and inform that they have no stock of soles for replacement of soles
I now request you kindly to replace the pair of the Sandal.

Do not join Wirkle Technologies situated in Gurgaon, Haryana. It is run by 3 fraud people who have malicious intention to corrupt the future of young people. They will take you as trainee and will change you for the offer letter and will tell that you have stolen company's property like laptop and mobile devices. They do not give the salary promised and then make excuses by saying that customer is not happy so why should company pay.

BEWARE!!! AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT IT

I purchased a new shoe model no G.4092 khaki 40on[protected] .after one month its stitches and adhesives are opened, i was submit these shoe to your shoroom AERO CLUB CITY AGENCIES PAZHAVANGADI TRIVANDRUM..they told that the stiching problem is not manufacturing defect. so it will repair at free of cost. I give the materal to him after 10 days[protected] they give back. But that reapiring is not correct, I returned the shoe to the showroom and they give a new slip and told, this material is send to head office.
