Dear xiaomi india team,

Unfortunately, i placed an order (From mi india site[https://www.mi.com/in/]) on 21st feb'19 that contain “mi bluetooth audio receiver white” of ₹999 (For which i used my ‘₹800 coupon’ from mi and additional ₹200 + [₹50 delivery charges]).

According to xiaomi india, the shipment has initiated from bangalore to kolkata, on 21-feb-2019. All of the mi products usually comes from bangalore most of the time. And it reached chandannagar (This place is situated just outside kolkata) on 21st-feb-2019.

But the important thing is, this order delivery was not being done by the mi india itself. This shipment was being handled by the company named ‘ekart logistics’ or ‘ekart’. Mi india has partnered with many other delivery companies, which can be found in their own website itself (https://www.mi.com/in/service/shipping/).

And the significance of ekart is, that it tells the order was initiated in kolkata (Which is contradicting with what have been mentioned in xiaomi india website). So, i expected it to be delivered in 2 to 3 days. But, unfortunately, it did not and it is held in chandanagar for more than 10 days.

And to my surprise, the order was rejected by ekart, with a status “marked rto: order_reject”.

It is quite evident from the tracking details of these two websites that there is a logistic problem between them and this will tend to confuse the seller and customers as well, and the order moved many times between two shipping facilities, chandannagar and chinchurah (Both of this places are just outside kolkata).

After seeing this, i contacted the mi support for the first time on 28th feb 2019, and asked them these two questions mentioned below: -

(1) can i get an estimated date of delivery of the order?

(2) why the tracking details are different in the two websites? If they have partnered for delivery, then where is the co-ordination?

Without even answering these queries, in the first place, the customer support guy decided to escalated the order and i was provided with an “incident id” and i was also informed by the customer support that i would receive a call from the mi team for this order. But customer support did not explain the reasons for escalating the order and the reason why i would be contacted by the mi team.

I never received any call from the mi team, so i again contacted the mi customer support for the second time. Mi customer support told me that, since the mi team tried calling me and could not reach. So, the mi team decided to cancelled order and refunded will be processed.in the meantime, i received an email from the xiaomi customer service of india stating “this is to inform you that we tried to get in touch with you on your number today. But it was not reachable.

We found that due to some operational issues product has been returned, once product reaches our warehouse you refund will be initiated in 8 to 10 days, we are very sorry for the inconvenience happened to you.”

The mobile number which was mentioned in the email, which the mi team had used to reach me was not my number at all. According to the mail, they clearly accepts it is their fault.

So, for the third time, instead of chatting with the customer support i called them up and explained the whole above-mentioned situation that has happened.

The lady over the phone said,

“due to technical issue the order was rejected. We usually do not deliver any order which has been delayed for more than 10 days. Once an order is cancelled it cannot be re-ordered. The refund process will soon be processed once it has returned to their warehouse, but the ₹800 coupon will not be refunded to my account (For any cancelled order). We are very sorry fir you inconvenience.”

But still, i tried explaining the situation that why first “ekart” showed the order status as rejected, whereas the xiaomi india website shows that it is still in transit??

For which they had no answer, but only apologies.

Fedup with these guys. Every time some new fellow pickups the call & speaks the same sentence that they have been taught, every time new complain gets logged but no solution provided till yet.

Ekart logistics is not lesser evil, it is only because of “ekart’s inability” to deliver the order, i have to suffer the consequences.

Ekart have provided their phone numbers, but one cannot reach them as they (Will) never answers the calls.

What a total shock!!!

I am seriously surprised and highly disappointed when it ended up like this.

The whole incident raises some important facts: -

1. The logistic issues between the xiaomi india and ekart logistics is not problem. Once the order is placed it should be delivered. This is your fault, not mine. Customers should not face the consequences for your incompetence. Where is your professionalism??

2. On 28th february 2019, ekart logistics has stopped updating the order status. But to my surprise in the mi india website the order status is totally different and had been updated the order status till 4th march 2019, where it says it is “out for delivery”. Yet it is another evidence that xiaomi india and ekart has a fully confused co-ordination between themselves. Hence, they are misleading me.

3. The xiaomi india delivery partner, “ekart logistic” failed to deliver the order. Mi india should have reached their other delivery partners to complete the order, not to cancel the order altogether.

4. The initial query was clearly misunderstood by the customer support. Furthermore, the actual reasons and the steps of the procedure where not explained. The customer support clearly acted on their own, which is without consenting and discussing the facts.

5. The mi team did not contact on my mobile, and cancelled my order on their own.

6. If a customer could reach customer support through emails, chats and calls. Then the support or the mi team could have at least emailed the situation or the steps which would be taken, before initiating the whole process without the consent of the customer. Email is not just a piece of information; electronic mail is a method of exchanging messages between people using electronic devices.

The so called "mi team" clearly lacks this basic understanding of electronic mail and the uses.

7. Furthermore, there should be a time-frame in which the customers could answer or decide the result (In this case, the refund or re-order). Basically, customers must be given an opportunity and time to decide in matters of delivery.

8. The way xiaomi india has acted so far, it is evident that they have been acting autocratically upon their customers. Xiaomi india did not want to give this huge discount (Discount of ₹800, from a ₹999 product). That is reason why they have 8 to 10 days for the shipment to return from kolkata to bangalore, but not 2 to 3 hours time to deliver the shipment to me.

Yes, delivering the product to me would have been easier on them.

This proves the fact, that xiaomi india did not wanted this product to be delivered, in the first place. Since they do not want any product to be redeemed through coupon, but only real cash transaction. They have even mentioned to re-order this product again, where i would not be able to use any coupon.

9. Significantly, in the transaction, i have paid the delivery charges. You are ought to deliver this order, in the first place, by any means. Since the problem is in delivery, mi india or mi team should reach their other delivery partners for the fulfillment of the order. The option of refund must be discussed with the customers first.

Either you deliver the order or give me full refund which includes both money and coupon.

Delivery of the order is my right. Refund of my coupon is my right. That’s all i am asking.

I should get the coupon refund as well. I have earned this coupon this coupon. Refund should be same as the payment.

Xiaomi india has monopolized the whole situation to their own benefit, it is a clear injustice to the consumers.

Why xiaomi india should not sell their products online, if they cannot assure the proper refund for the same. Also, do not even fully understand the uses of communication mediums.

Neither should they provide any coupon (S) as the company fails to guarantee the redeemable aspect of it.

Xiaomi has stopped replying to my emails.

This proves that they are guilty and trying to evade this situation in the name of policy.

Now i don't want your apologies.

Best of luck for legal actions i am going to take i swear.

And stop making a fool of your customers.

This is a clear scam.

I will suggest all to never shop online, especially from xiaomi india https://www.mi.com/in/.

It is not trusted at all. They want our money, with no proper service (S).

Have been using xiaomi's products for years, did not expected this to happen to me.

It is not about delayed in delivery it's about false commitments and the unethical behaviour.

Should have purchased this product from amazon.in

    I have hanging issues but the technician says he doesn't see any issues for not to give refund i have video recordings of hanging problems.
    Problem seems when i use the device continues. Technician says he doesn't see the problem. I do have video proof. They are not seeing the problem purposely for not to refund the amount. Redme note 6 pro. Imei:[protected]
    Bought on 5th feb frm flipkart, battery back up worst, i used to charge my new phone thrice a day, despite trying 5 times flipkart rejected my return, i am struggling with my new 20 thousand ruppes phone with pathetic battery life. What to do next.

    Where's the hide notch option in the settings? It was there before after some system update it's gone. It's a setting I really use.
    I need to know if it will be brought back to the phone in some update or something.

      If i write a harsh comment, i don't know what this company will do but i don't have another option. So i am so frustrated and irritated with this device. I feel like throwing it into a garbage. I have submitted a complaint already but there is no reply at all. It will be good if this company will help me as soon as possible. Please help me.

      Every time I get disconnected to WiFi and do not even get a chance to see a video also as others enjoy watching.

        Today i got my tv which i ordered 2days back when i opened the parcel remote was not available in the box and now they are saying why u opened the parcel.
        If parcel containing bomb then i should wait for the service engineer to open it
        No body is taking responsibility and now they are saying buy new remort then only u can install ur t
        Highly disappointed from mi
        If action not taken i will never take mi products to my last breath
        I have ordered redmi note 6 pro from xiaomi india for rs 13999/-.But when they delivered this product the product has only rs 12999/- and now the product has only rs 11999/-.I want rs 2000/- cash back.
        I am getting disconnected every time to WIFI and cannot find even one metre available network. This problem has been encountering every time. Please help me solve this issue. Don't say that the problem is in the device because the device is new.

          I bought redmi 6 (Black in 32 gb variant) and
          My naphew was using my phone and it got burnt, i thank to god it didn't hurt that 7 year old baby
          I was very confident customer of mi, i had used 3s prime and note 4 and 5 but this time i am very disappointed with this accident.
          I need refund or replace (Not refurbished)

          Notice: if i need to get a help of court and law proceedings i'd go for that for sure.

            Dear sir/ madam i bought a new redmi 6 pro handset from a shop in my town kishangarh renewal. And from the date of bying my handset has a trouble with its sim. My sim idea cellular automatically gets deactivate. I send my mobile for any repair at mi service center they changed its system and hardware but still this problem is same. I contact customer care they only provide basic details. So kindly help me regarding this problem... Some times people call me on my phone when it's very urgent but i don't know whether my sim is deactivated automatically. This is too unbearable. I paid money for this phone working 12 hours a day and this showing me wastage of my money please take some necessary steps to eradicate this problem. I will be thankful to you for this kind act...

              I had a battery issue with both the capsules i used before. So i replaced then. On feb 23, 2019, i made another replacement of my capsule regarding she issue i. E., battery. I charged it to 99% and waited till the end of the day, and the charge started falling down. I was completely shocked. I expect them to give some quality products to customers, but the people at the service centers are not at all maintaining standards. Please resolve this issue.

                Against the Invoice No.: 24188, dated 19 Feb. 2019 & Order No.:[protected], dated 19 Feb. 2019, I have online purchased MI LED TV 4 Pro 138.8 cm (55 In), cost Rs. 49, 999/- from Xiaomi Technology India Pvt. Ltd. (GSTIN No.: 19AAACX1741N1ZZ).
                The TV has been delivered on 22.02.2019 at 12:34, by Delhivery Courier. Then on the Customer Care number of MI ([protected]), I have registered request for the installation on the same date i.e. 22.02.2019.

                As per my request, MI Customer care allotted date & time for the for the installation as : 23.02.2019, between 18 Hrs to 20 Hrs.
                On, 23.02.2019, at 10:26 hrs, I have received a call from [protected] . This is the mobile number of MI technician. He told me that he is coming for the installation of the TV within 1 hr. But, I told him that the time slot provided by customer care is 18: 00 hrs to 20:00 hrs (On 23.02.2019). Right now I am 40 Km away from the location, where TV is to be installed. I can come minimum upto 16 Hrs to that location. Then, the technician told me that either he will install within 2 hrs or tomorrow morning. Then, I told him to come tomorrow morning (i.e. 24.02.2019).
                But, till now no technician has come from MI to install the TV. I have made call to Technician, customer care and the mobile number provided through SMS ([protected]) many times . But, still I am waiting for any technician to install the TV.

                I need the immediate and correct response at your end.
                I have installed Jio tv app in tv. But this app is not working .
                Please suggest what can be done now.
                I have installed android app in that with latest version.
                You please suggest how can I installed Jio tv app in my tv.
                I was downloaded app from external source and through USB i have installed that.

                    Respected sir/madam, i am saravana kumar, from chennai. I am raising this complaint in regret. On 6/7/2018, i was tried to book redmi note 5 pro gold in mi.com.in (Official site of xiaomi smart phones) for rs. 11699 through online by using my debit card (The original cost of the mobile is rs. 14999. I had used my exchange coupon value for rs. 3300 (Exchanged my old phone). The transaction got failed two times, so then i went to cod option and processed the order and the order no is: [protected]. After an hour, i found that the amount rs.[protected]*2) is depicted from my bank account on the same day 6/7/2018. I had raised the complaint to xiaomi on the same day, that the amount rs. 23398 is depicted for those 2 failed online transactions. They assured me that my order is placed on cod option, said me that the mentioned amount will return back in 8 business days. I got the product on 8/7/2018 and paid rs.11699 by cash. The reference number of both the transactions are[protected] &[protected] and i received one failed transaction[protected] amount rs. 11699 on 10/7/2018. But i didn't received my 1st failed transaction amount rs. 11699 from 6/7/2018 to 5/2/2019 till date. When i enquired my bank, the bank said me that my 1st transaction is not failed. It is successfully transferred to xiaomi on 6/7/2018 through online for the same order no: [protected] (Which i placed by cod) and asked me to get back the second amount which xiaomi received on 8/7/2018 as because my transaction is successful, the order is successfully placed through online on 6/7/2018 itself, and the bank reference number is[protected]. I am struggling to get back my amount rs. 11699 from xiaomi from 7/7/2018 to 5/2/2019 (6 months). The bank doesn't received any fund amount rs.11699 from xiaomi from 20/9/2018 to 20/2/2019 (Till date) and insisted that, "one cannot initiate the amount on a successful transaction of a processed product order". The bank mentioned that the provided arn no:[protected] is the reference number of my transaction to xiaomi, dated 6/7/2018 for the order no: [protected]. The bank verified the arn no:[protected], the reference no is showing my invoice bill statement for the order no: [protected]. Sir, you can see the reference number:[protected] in the payu statement is successfully placed for the order no: [protected] on 6/7/2018 itself. Xiaomi charged the another amount rs. 11699 by cash on 8/7/2018 while delivering the product to me. The bank insisted me to raise the complaint to xiaomi by attaching all the statements proof provided by the bank, my invoice statement, payu statement to get back my amount rs.11699 charged on 8/7/2018 as cash. Kindly please do help me to get my amount back from xiaomi. I am tired and helpless sir, i am struggling to get my amount rs.11699 from 7/7/2018 to 20/2/2019.
                    I bought mi tv 32 inch on 29 Jun 2018. Now screen is completely invisible because of some kind of internal defect. Kindly find this issue soon as possible. Thank you

                    I have purchase Mi TV 32 pro 4c from Mi Home they charge 499 extra than Online rate & while purchasing they saying that installation service included in this charge & even they doesn't provide delivery service & now at time of installation service they ask 399 more for wall mount overall they charge 499 ₹ more

                    Earphones are not working completely. The sound quality in mi earphones is too slow. When I bought it, the sound quality is sufficient, but now earphones are not working, in the set of earphones one is working completely and other one is damage.

                      I purchased the xiaomi mi note 6 pro on february 2, 2019. The mobile's face unlock feature is defected as it is getting unlocked by my brother's face too. This has lead to privacy and data leaking resulting in reputation decline and low self esteem in my opion. This has lead to mental harassment too and want consumer forum to take appropriate action in this regard.

                        I am vipin pathak from gurgaon, haryana.
                        I am using mi products from long time. I have multiple mi phones, i have mi headphones, i have mi power banks, i have maximum products of your company. Even i refer to my friends to buy mi products.

                        But this time i am very disappointed with mi product and service too.

                        I have purchased mi a2 from amazon and which was delivered on[protected] with order number[protected].

                        The mobile which i got started giving problem of restarting automatically after few days of delivery and complete firmware crashed later on, for the same i have visited mi service center in gurgaon, they had checked my handset and told me there is a software & hardware problem, so software was updated and charging port replaced and issue was temporarily resolved.
                        But just next day it again started giving problem of restarting automatically and complete firmware crashed later on and for the same issues i also approached to mi solution expert at your toll free number but no solution to the problem and also visited mi service center in sector 15 gurgaon and after checking they confirmed to replace motherboard, but as i have purchased new phone why should i do so much efforts.
                        As it is impossible for me to visit service center daily so you please provide me replacement of handset as all the option of troubleshooting i have utilized for my handset was but still issue not resolved.

                        So i am requesting you please provide me replacement of device as early as possible.

                        Details of my complain are as follows,
                        Mobile: redmi a2, 4gb, 64gb, red colour.
                        Order id:[protected].
                        Date of delivery:[protected].

                        Issue in mobile:
                        1_ phone firmware getting crashed and not able to start phone again with any method, service center people not responding properly.

                        Now complete box with non-working handset is available with me.

                        Please do needful asap.

                          In relation to your product Mi phone “Redmi 5A (Gold, 32GB)” bought by me on[protected] I have already told you so many times through calls and mails that this phone has problems regarding display and softwares after using 2-3 months. I went seven (8) times to your service centres- 3 times Baddi (H.P), 3 times Chandigarh, 1 time Hoshiarpur (Punjab) and 1 time Kangra (H.P). At last I got frustrated with same recurring problems but still your service center advisors and seniors advised me to go again and again to service centres. Some service centres told that there is problem in its software, some told that capacitor is not working properly, some changed its battery and some changed its speakers. But still the problem persists

                            I had ordered mi "redmi 5a (Gold, 32 gb)" mobile phone from your flipkart site on[protected]Invoice bill copy attached). But i am sorry to say that your product was defected. Nearly 3 months after buying it started showing problems. The display used to get black. Then i showed this mobile in service centre and they changed its software but again just after 2 days it showed problems. Then i again showed it at service centre. This time they said problem was with capacitor and said that they have solved the problem in capacitor. But now again it is having same problem of black display. Now i want to know that whether you could do anything in this as this is clearly a manufacturing defect.

But i am sure to say my mobile is not repair and it doesn't drop in water. Sir help me and ither u don't help and mi not helping me i will complaint to mca. I am shour about my mobile. But not satisfied by your services.

                                I am rashmi sahu on 09 feb 2019 i have reported to mi service centre (Ramananda tower guwahati) for reapiring of my mobile mi note 3 and my mobile is not warrnty period. My mobile problem was "not holding charge" and technician told me your battery and your mobile charge point has been damaged. I told them for repair and i have been paid rs 2180/- after reach my house i have seen again same problem in mobile. Then again i have reported to service centre and told them my mobile is not holding charge they lodged my complaint vide complaint number wxin[protected] dated 13 feb 2019 and they told me please leave your mobile with us for checking. On 14 feb 2019 stated by service centre that your mobile mother board has been damaged and to be paid for rs. 4780. Now i am stating that if mother board was damaged why intially not point raised. If i will pay 4780 + 2180 =rs 6960 total cost of repairs. Please look into the matter and necessary action. Thanks

                                  I am not able to update my device though update package was available. Presently, my device update package is not available. Why this is so?

                                    I purchased a Smart TV on 19th October 2018, till now none of the applications like Amazon Prime, Netflix are working on it. I got in touch with Flipkart from where I purchased the set, they said that such things are provided by the company. All these important aspects related to the product are not mentioned in the specifications. How am I as a customer supposed to know all of these things. I purchase a “Smart” TV with the intetion o[censored]sing all applications, that’s where the Smart word comes from. I was instructed by MI’s executive to use applications like Facebook, Whatsapp, etc on the TV. Have I purchased a set for using these applications ? Or have I purchased it to use other applications ?
                                    What nonsense suggestions the executive is giving me. Moreover he was such a dud, had no information relating to the set, I had more information than the executive on the product.
                                    Repeatedly on raising complaints, I was told that these applications will not work on the set with no such information provided on the site.
                                    I need an immediate revert before I escalate this even further.

                                      I purchased note5 pro on 28 October 2018. It is switching off automatically again and again. I spoke to the customer care executive who told me that the handset will be replaced if the service center is not able to resolve my issue. I went to the service center where the phone's software was updated and I was told that the issue is resolved but even after several visits to the service center my phone is in same condition. It is switching off again and again on its own. My work is being disturbed because of the phone. I am truly dissatisfied with this service of mi and I would not recommend mi to anyone
