I have purchased MI 3s Prime from the sale on Mi.com on 21 Sep, 2016.
It was delivered within a week.
On using that handset, I found there a defect in the LCD screen. There was a black shadow on the bottom of the screen.
I talked to the Mi customer care and shared the screenshots with them. They confirmed me with a mail that the handset will get replaced and their delivery partner will call me for a reverse pickup. But nobody contacted me. I regularly talked with the customer care for 5-6 days and they always keep on promising that they will contact me very soon. After a week, today I got call from MI customer care and they told me that the reverse pick cannot be done because the pin code to which the product was delivered doesn’t comes under the list of serviceable areas for reverse pickup. They told that I have to courier the handset myself and have to bear the cost for delivering the product to their warehouse.
Are you kidding me…
Guys, they said that they have different delivery partners for delivery and reverse pickup. This means if you buy any product from MI and that product has any defect then you may not get the service for MI.
I can’t find the logic that the area where you deliver but can’t give any service.
I even requested them that please tell the serviceable areas, I will give you an address of that area for reverse pickup, but they denied.
I had conversation over call so many time but I didn't get any solution of my problem, every time their executive promised me that we'll arrange a call from our senior executive or manager shortly but nobody contacted me till now. This is continue from past 10-12 days, now I was totally frustrated and I am not able to get solution from anywhere.
Yesterday, I got called by customer care. he told me that the reverse pickup cant be done as the pincode to which the product was delivered is not serviceable.
he told me that the company have different delivery partners for delivery and reverse pickup.
i am not getting the logic here. they can ship the product to a pincode but cant give service to the same pincode.
are you kidding me...
i already confirmed by the company in a mail that the reverse pickup will b done from your side and i have to handover the packed product to the delivery person for reverse pickup. and now they are neglecting thier own words...
Please help me because this happened with me but I don't want that any other person suffer with the same issue.
The money has been spent on this phone doesn't seems to be worthy for me.
Is anybody over there who can help me for the same?
