I had an mi4i bought on 15th aug'15 worth rs.13, 000. It stopped functioning properly, around 2.5 months ago i. E. 10th july'16. I went to the pune service center on 29th july'16, and after waiting for long hours at the always-full center, they told me that mother board is defunct, and has to be replaced, and that it will take a month to replace the mother board. After submitting, i kept calling the call center and service center, which only connect once in 50 times. I had my request escalated a several times, and it had been 2 months since i submitted my phone so i threatened them to move to consumer court, on 23rd sep'16. So i receive a call from someone at mi india that my phone is repaired and that i can collect my phone from where i submitted. I went there, and they hand me a redmi note 3, 16 gb that costs rs.10, 000. Why on earth would they do this? If i wanted to buy redmi phone, i could do it by myself. I want my mi4i back, repaired. Kindly help me to get me my phone back, because this company xiaomi has made me lose all my patience over 2 months. If they do not have parts available, why manufacture the devices in the first place? I have been facing a lot of inconvenience since the phone started malfunctioning. Moreover, they don't provide a spare phone, and they expect the customer to be fine with all this irresponsible and extremely unacceptable behavior.
My lock button is not working and they are saying to visit the store, really pathetic and i hate Mi now.
