Hi,

I am purchasing Redmi note 3 from amazon on 9th august 2016 after 1 months there was a issued of charging while i put on charging it won't charge after switch off the phone it will charge but it will take 10 to 12 hours to charge full. If i attached mobiel to computer the usb dosen't work. So took it to the Mi servi ce centre they told me its a software problem. So asked them to reinstall the softeware after they told me its hardware problem. So I asked them to replace the mobile if within 1 and half month it gives hardware problem its means its defective but the person sitting on the customer care chair arugued using bad language. After i call mumbai customer care number they also refuse to replace they told that we can repair. So friends think before puchasing this mobile phone because i have bad experience.

I had purchased Redmi mobile last two month ago form amazon site . Which model no is HN2LTE-In .

The problem is that mobile is being heated more & battery drainage quickly .

Need your support in this problem .

    xiaomi service center is very bad services provid for customer and i have giving
    a mobile for service center this service center asking for me your mobile complate repair time pireade is more than one month so this company services is not setisfied for me so pls submit my complaint and giving a good response

      Sir mere mobile mein sim fass gya hai. And Im from moradabad, toh yaha k mi k service center wale keh rahe hai ki sim nikal toh jayega but warenty khatam hojayegi kyun ki damage mein aajayega. Toh sir iska koi solution ho toh please dijiye. Mujhe ye mobile kharide huwe abhi muskil se 3 din bhi nahi huye hain. Sim nikal hi nahi raha hai. Meine bahut kosis karr li.
      Sir agar mi wale hi thik nahi karenge toh kon karega. Warna ye mi center banaya hi kyun hai.

        So i want to inform you tht its vry worse quality in your mobile.
        And i unsatisfied to your mobile services..
        And i want to justice, because two times i attached new display nd cost approx 5000 so this mobile is very costly for me.
        And in actual i m belong to middle class family.. So please justice..

          I don’t know what to say. I hope you can understand the extent of frustration and mental agony i am going through. Still i am a hardcore loyal fan of xiaomi, since its entry in india. I am instrumental in making many mi lovers. I just upgraded my redmi 1s to mi 5. My job profile involves lots of document scanning. So i use camscanner app.in my phone. At the end of the day i use my pc to transfer the data from my redmi 1s to my pc. My problem started with mi 5, when i connect it to my pc, all the folders except camscanner are displayed. After much brain storming, i called xiaomi customer care. They had no answer to my problem. When a rs. 6000/- phone can show camscanner why not a rs. 23000/- phone can. The help line executive asked me install mi pc suite, which i did. But even with this, i was not able to detect my mi 5, when connected to the pc. My redmi 1s was immediately detected. The help line person asked me to visit a nearby service center. I visited a service center in vashi, navi mumbai and met one mr. Abdul kavi khan. He tried to view camscanner on a pc, no luck. He even tried connecting my mi 5 to the pc via mi pc suite, no luck. He himself owned a mi 5, so he tried all the experiments with his own phone & the outcome was the same. He even tried the task with three other mi 5 handsets but the same problem. None of the mi 5 showed camscanner or were detected by the pc via mi pc suite. At the same time other models of mi were being detected and showed camscanner. The service center person asked me get back after 2 days, by that time he will check out with his seniors in chennai. It has been more than 10 days; i am still searching for solution. Can somebody help me with this before i lose my patience. Please don’t give me a chance to repent my decision and relation with xiaomi.

          I would request you to uninstall and reinstall the application and check. However, you can use inbuilt scanner app in miui 8 in order to scan the documents.

          -go to tools.

          I think mr. Palku you have not read my mail properly, or maybe you don't understand english. That's the reason you have given me a very stupid, silly and irrelevant solution. As written in my mail i have tried everything before writing the mail. Trial & error, expert advice, help line, service center, etc. My question is why mi 5 is not displaying camscanner folder in a connected pc, when all the phones in the world, including all models of xiaomi do. If you don't understand simple english please consult your senior, before i take the pain to be a pain for all of you. I have paid rs. 23000.00 for mi 5. What for? Not a single mi 5 is being connected to mi pc suite. Why? All other xiaomi models very well connect to the mi pc suite. Why all the problem with mi 5. Dear this is not my lone problem, along with me there are 8 other mi 5 owners who have the same problem. This mail is on behalf of all of them. Please reply asap, and this time something sensible. Please refer one of your service center technician in vashi navi mumbai, maharashtra.

          Good. Please tell me, why is this issue limited to mi 5 only, when other models of xiaomi are working fine with miui 8.0.2.0. I have a redmi 1s running on miui 8.0.2.0 it has no such issue as seen with mi 5. Both camscanner & mi pc suite are working on it. What is the point in buying a phone for rs.23000.00 when it cannot serve a purpose?

          Ok fine. I will wait. Please answer my query regarding camscanner. I will advise, please tell your team to try it out with a mi 5 handset. All the other models of xiaomi and all the other phones in the world show camscanner folder in pc, what's wrong with mi 5. Will this issue also be rectified in the next miui update? Can you please give an idea how long do i have to wait?

          I certainly understand that you are unable to use camscanner in your device. I know you would like to get this issue resolved. I will surely assist you on this.
          Javed, i would request you to set the device to default factory reset mode. I would request you to take the back up of your data before performing the factory reset as it will wipe out the data from your device. Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
          A. Create a backup:
          1. Got to the settings
          2. Select additional setting
          3. Select backup and reset
          4. Select local backups
          5. Select backup
          6. Select apps, accounts and contacts & deselect system
          7. Create backup.

          B. Factory reset:
          Go to settings — additional settings — scroll down and select backup & reset — scroll down and click on factory data reset — click on reset phone at the bottom. This will reset the phone to factory mode.

          Ok. After i set my phone to factory mode, will camscanner work. As told earlier at least 8 mi 5 handsets checked by me are facing the same problem. Only mi 5 are facing the problem. Even one of your technician in your own service center in vashi, navi mumbai faced the same problem. He had no answer for this. So are your sure that after factory resetting my camscanner issue will be solved.

          Now this is getting out of my patience can some body speak to me or give me number, i will call and talk face to face. I am asking you what is your name and you are replying i love pizzas. Nonsense. You people can't understand simple english. Please take not that all these conversations can be used against you. I have paid my hard earned money to buy mi 5. I will see to that all this mails are displayed all over the various social platform throughout the net. If you can't solve my problem, say so, but for god sake, talk sense, talk to the context.

                  Firstly, primary mike was not working in a brand new handset, which xiaomi fails to acknowledge. secondly, when its given to service center, they take ages to fix it, which is manufacturing defect.

                  Pathetic customer care service. Customer care number always seems to be busy!!

                  Will not recommend anybody to go with xiaomi!

                  I am still using my old handset, although I made investment in xiaomi redmi note 3, thanks to such a pathetic brand!! yet to receive the handset from service center. On the top it, there is no way by which I can track if the phone is repaired or it will take another year to get repaired.

                    Earphones not replaced even after 2 months

                    I gave my earphones for replacement to mi service center, ashok nagar, chennai on july 23. They told me that they will be replace them within 20days. Its been 2 months now, and i haven't yet received any response from their side. Whenever i try to call this service center, their number is either busy or not reachable. I have reported this incident to mi several times, and yet their is no response. Every time i talk to them, they are asking...

                    I bought above model mobile from Amazon but from day1 this handset was giving problem, its second SIM slot was not detecting SIM /memory card.
                    From last 15 days handset is handover to service centre vikas marg Shakarpur Delhi but it is under repair.
                    Such a worst performance and poor response from service center never expected.

                      Getting hang also
                      Just got the delivery of mobile of 17th September unable to understand the probkem

                        I have purchased redmi 3s prime on 17-aug-2016 (Your mi order is confirmed order id: [protected]) and device received on 19th aug 2016 evening.
                        After using device for 3-4 days device was functioning abnormal like power button is not working, finger sensor stopped responding, device heating etc. On 29 aug 2016. I talked to customer care through chat support they have provided me one ticket id[protected] for device replacement. On 1st sept i received one mail stating that your request has been forwarded to logistics dept for device pickup. But i am still waiting for device to picked up and replaced.

                          I bought my redmi note 3 from amazon like 2-3 months ago. After a month or so my phone started to restart. After 2-3 visits to their service center they reinstalled the software, but the problem wasn't solved. They asked me to submit the phone, so i did. They gave me a period of 10 - 15 days. But now it's been 21 days to be exact i haven't heard from them. Whenever i call they disconnect the call and never give a specific answer. After numerous calls to their customer care they launched a complaint on my behalf 3-4 days ago, but i still haven't received any call or message. I have also heard mentioned above things from many other consumers. Please help me out

                            I had given my Mi 20000 mAh Power bank on service on 17th July to service centre. Afyer 60 days, there is no response from MI India regarding my power bank. i called their customer support team regarding this issue. No response from them.

                              I ordered a Redmi Note 3 phone from MI website to avoid any defects, but when i received the phone, it was defective handset, the area near switch off/on button is received in a damaged condition. I registered the complain on the same day 13 Sep16, complain no.[protected]. but till date (20th Sep16) they have only one response, that our customer team will contact you soon for replacement.

                              They do not understand any urgency of customer. The defective handset is lying in my house in one corner, & i am using someone else's old handset.

                              Everytime a new customer care executive picks & i get only one response "Please wait, our team is working on this".

                              Now I am so frustrated, i only want refund for it, i do not wish to have any relation with MI.

                              Please help me to resolve this issue fast, or suggest some legal action i can take.
                              My powerbank is in warranty, i have given my powerbank to XIAOMI official service centre on 21.07.2016. My complaint is registered & Its been 60 days still it has not been repaired nor i have got an official word about it.

                              I had given my phone to service centre before 47 days but they didn't repair my phone in this time period but till now we didn't get any response from there.Customer care is saying just wait or wait.. How many days i can wait???

                                Not receiving any update from services center regarding earphone replacement even they are not received phone[protected]

                                I had submitted my earphone in Malad West, Mumbai service center.

                                When discuss on chat of xiaomi they are just saying we will contact you in 24-48hrs and then not received any update(I have log of that chat as well).

                                Kindly look into this matter.

                                  This regarding my phone xiaomi redmi note 3.
                                  After buying it within a month it got stopped working, 3 major problems.

                                  1. While pressing power button it is getting volume up (Power button was not working)
                                  2. Charging port stopped working only after hard reset it was working only 1 time then again stopped
                                  3. Some times inbuilt buttons are stop working so i failed to go back or on home screen

                                  Gave phone to service centre on 29th aug. They told it will back withing 10 to 15 days.
                                  But still not back.

                                  Called to customer service after 20 days and got very unprofessional behaviour from them.
                                  They replied we do not have part for it so it cannot repair right now, i asked when it will get repair they replied cant say it can take 15 day 1 month or a year.

                                  My question is what is the use of that phone which was with me only for 1 month and to you guys for 1 year.

                                  First of all after lots of try i got that hone and now this problem.

                                  And if mi does not have parts then why are they doing business? They should shut the company because they don't have service to their customers.
                                  So what you suggest me now should i buy new phone because you guys are not repairing my phone.

                                  I am not that much rich to keep 10 extra phone with me.

                                    I have given powerbank for replacement on 31st may 2016 but till date they have not given me back. Whenever I call them they say to wait. When I ask for refund they say we don't have any refund policy. Since 4 months they are not responding to my issue. Once they call and told that collect your powerbank but when i went Cg road Ahmedaba service center nothing was there. they are also making fool. I wasted my time and money every time. My job sheet number is HHIN[protected] and I was given estimate time of 15-20 days but I think it will take years to return my property. No one is taking in charge of this issue. I request u to please help and provide my money back. I will never every think to buy xiaomi product again.

                                      I have been suffering from the bad customer service for my faulty mobile...i had submitted my redmi 2 mobile on 30 june at siliguri service centre having job sheet no JS[protected]
                                      yet i havtn't got any compensation from them.More than 75 days passed.Its too delay. ..worst service of redmi i have ever faced...totaly disaapointed
                                      i have also complaint in xiomi cutomer care but they donot try to fix it
