After reading rave reviews on ndtv i purchased a new redmi note 3 32 gb silver directly online from mi store. Imei no of the phone is [protected] and its serial no is 12664/20095251 and i received it on 02 august 2016.

Within 15 days the phone showed hardware problems. On carrying out the test informed by xiaomi mi customer support, speakers, blue tooth and some other tests too showed hardware errors. On using an apple headphone with it, it went intol ock mode. Xiaomi mi told me to go to their service centre.

I was shocked to see the crowd of people demanding service in the service center and complaining about the quality of and numerous problems with their new or in warranty mi phones.

When finally my turn came. I was asked to wait for almost an hour and then told that the motherboard was faulty, would have to be replaced and will take 25 days. No replacement. The total disregard of the customer is shown by this.

This with a brand new phone. Inspite, of their limited warranty statement posted at their site they do not replace the phone, or will do so only within 10 days of purchase.in my case the delivery took place after 12 days of purchase/payment, hence no replacement!!!

I will never recommed this company to anyone and would like to dissuade others from buying their products.

    Ordered xiaomi redme note 3 from mi website & received damaged product, tried their toll free no. So many times but not connected and support mail id inbox was full and not working.
    Next day chat customer support executive had taken all the snapshot of outside box and cracked mobile and taken the replacement request. He told me that you will soon get a call from our team & the product will be picked up from my address within 48 hours.
    But still i didn't get any call, not received any message or mail of complaint registered..
    How would i will get to know that my replacement request has been registered.??
    Kindly check it and do the replacement as soon as possible..

      Sir, i had ordered the redmi note 3 silver 32g mobile on 20 aug and have received the delivery on 21 aug in the afternoon. I was happy with the delivery service but i had received a faulty piece. I kept the phone charging for 2 hrs but the phone did not start. Then, the customer care support told me to go to the service centre. But as it was sunday on 21st the mi service centre were closed on sunday. Today on the 22nd of aug i have visited the mi service centre and they have told me that it is a faulty piece and your mobile will be replaced. Then again the mi call center told me that the mi team will call me in 24hrs to verify and then they will pick up the defective piece from me and then they will deliver me the new handset.
      My question is, why this process is taking so much time? And if the mobile is verified at the service centre then why mi has to verify it again? If mi has the policy of bringing into notice the defective piece in 48hrs then why i should not get the mobile in 48hrs?
      I request you to please deliver the handset on the day when the mi team comes to pick up my defective handset.

        Very poor product as well as the worst customer service.
        The month i bought mi41 (October2015) the same month it started giving problems.
        1. Headphone not working
        2. Mobile is getting hotter within 5 minutes of call
        3. No ring tone only noise
        4. Music player never ever worked
        5. Language problem, customer care representative can only talk in english and hindi but customer knows only tamil.
        6. Phone is with the service center for more than 2months, not yet repaired.
        7. It’s very difficult to get through customer care manager.
        8. Job sheet number (Wfin[protected] and complaint number[protected].

        My case is not yet resolved, no one is taking any action neither Company nor Consumer forum. Everyone is money minded, they just want money. I thought that maybe Consumer forum will do something to help the customer, but this is also a waste. Maybe this forum is also supporting that worst company . Very disappointed by both of them.
        I bought the redmi 2 prime.. i had some issue with the camera.. Literally xiaomi have the worst service centre respon ever.. its been more than 2 months my phn is with the service centre... I was told that it may take 2 weeks max but its been more than 2 months.. and now even after calling many times sending many mails and chats they have diverted my contact number to a voice mail box.. but when i call then with a different contact number the alwys pick up.. atlrst as a courtesy as a responsible brant its their responsibility to inform us about the product status and delivery time.. now its heighy.. and i am going for RTI and consumer court... Atleast as a Part of CSR thr brand have to inform about the status.. my enquiry number is [protected] My complaint num.[protected]. M from dehradun and so have no service center here and hence have to call for xiaomi pickmi service.. i need my phone within this week or else i am going legal on this..

          I have submitted my redmi 2 mobile on 25th july for service to be done by service center but they havn't done yet. When i called them they said parts had not came from the company side.
          I am very annoyed with this type of services provided by the xiaomi india service center in lucknow.
          Delivery dates given by service center was 9th aug, 2016 but when we again call them on the number which they have given they didn't pick up the call.

            Its is really very unfortunate that since purchase it is hardly around two (2) months, and now the mobile is completely dead & i have submitted to your service center at master canteen, bhubaneswar having invoice no[protected], dt - 19.05.2016, order no-[protected], job card no - wxin[protected]. i have submitted the mobile on 16.08.16 but your staff out the date on 17.08.16. since then it's almost a week there is no response from your service center & nobody is bothering that after an expenditure of 12000/- from pocket now i am without a mobile for so long. it shows your products compatibility, effectiveness & bad rumor in the market. i have followed up many times but nobody is responding. now people starts talking that this product is not worthy & should not recommended to purchase for. anyway i simply urge to make my mobile ok asap or else i will make a consumer case without any option.

              I submitted my mi4i on 14th of july due to issues of microphone not working and phone was switching off automatically several times a day. I was assured 20 days delivery from kolkata mi service centre. Kasba branch. Regardless of which my phone is still out with them. They are saying that they have ordered for the parts from bangalore but those parts are not dispatched. It's been 45 days what the hell is going on with this useless company. I am gonna file a case against this.

                Dear xiaomi I have to say u have bad service centres
                I went to have my headphone jack repaired at 4 and till 5.30 they did not attend to my problems
                Further the service centre downgraded my phone to 7.5 when my phone was already properly running the 8.0 version
                The service centre did not care about my problems
                If I am not provided a proper solution I will take rhis matter to the court
                Further I am talking about the service centre in Chennai egmore I went on 22/08/2016

                  I have purchased mi note 3. a month ago. i got defective piece of phone and it has hanging problem. so i decided to replace it. after receiving another piece of phone i got to know this phone is defective in body part. it it damaged piece, so i complain back in mi support. after submitting my complaint i didnt get any call or message regarding my damage phone. and i tried to call more then enough time. but i am not getting any response from mi support. and they are not giving any information about product which i purchased.

                    R/sir, i submitted my xiaomi phone at service center on 18-6-16 at karnal. Further i had so many visit to the center but output of the same not in progress till date, i have spent my precious time for my phone repair but they are used to speak lie all time. My phone is in warranty period but now it is going to expire and it is not my fault. Now i am facing lot of difficulties as i have no phone in my hand, it is also shameful that for a period of 2 months out put of service center is nil and my phone is still in service center and the behaviour of the service center member is very poor please solve my problem as soon as possible now i am attaching some paper proof to this my complaint.

                      Mi protect - not value for money, bizare terms and conditions and customer feels cheated. I bought a redmi note 3 april this year and paid for mi protect. I believed my handset is covered from accidental damage for 1 year. I got handset's screen damaged and when i called up customer care to get it fixed, they refused to take this request as its been more than 48 hrs screen got damaged. They cited the terms and conditions document. Should customer know the terms and conditions by heart? When they got their handset broken, should be calling customer care immediately? Is it kind of emergency medical services they are providing? Shouldn't such malpractice be stopped?
                      I cant listen to the caller's voice when i receive the call.i have to restart the phone every time i have to receive a call to listen the voice
                      Same issue I have been facing for long. When I took my handset to customer care, they said will take minimum 40 days to rectify the issue.

                          There was sale on 17th August, for Redmi 3s mobile phone, we added it to cart and while payment it went out of stock, every thing was done in seconds. They are cheating People of Indian in name of Flash sale, pls ban this company in India. They are Bloody cheaters. i am also going to register Formal complaint.

                            This mail is to highlight gross negligence at the part of the xiaomi customer care team. I bought a redmi note 3 that was delivered to me on 10th july 2016. Since the phone was a birthday gift for my dad (Which was on 17th), and i keep ordering gadgets from xiaomi (This is my 10th after mi 4i, mi5, mi pad, 1 redmi note 3, some battery banks and headphones), i did not open the packaging then and there. When we opened the packaging after 7 days i. E. 17th july, i saw that there was a dent in the box and upon opening the box i found that, the screen was shattered. Within 10 minutes i wrote a mail to xiaomi customer care asking them for a replacement. Next day they asked me for various pictures of the product, box etc which i sent.
                            I then got a very curt response - "since you did not inform us within 24 hrs, we can't replace your phone". I was zapped since the xiaomi policy (On the website - http://www.mi.com/in/service/replacefaq/) says that a request for replacement must be set within "10 days" and that it covers "goods damaged in transit" (Snapshot attached). I even called the customer care, spoke to a senior executive - she kept my call on hold for 30 minutes - eventually i hung up
                            Then when i wrote to them the next day (Today) re-iterating the fact that the policy says clearly 10 days, i got a rather half-witted response saying that you have sent a request after "48hrs" hence it can't be entertained.

                            I'm feeling very cheated and mistreated, especially when i'm so fond of xiaomi as a brand. Moreover, my first reaction was - how can the company not honour what it says - even amazon gives 10 days replacement.
                            I hope that this matter is taken up with the seriousness that befits a dissatisfied consumer rather than receive a default and standard reply. Expecting asapaction from xiaomi team and phone replacement. Do let me know in case you need any other clarification.
                            I am also having the same problem. Ordered a phone, ear phone set and the phone was delivered when I was not in town. When I opened the package 3days after delivery, I found that the phone was bent and the back panel is twisted at an angle. I called customer care and they constantly read the script saying the replacement request was received after 24 hours and hence, cannot be accepted. In addition, I did not receive the ear phones..

                            Any luck for you? It is a 11K phone and why should bear the consequences of negligence from the company side.

                              I have purchased a mi 4 handset (Xiaomi product) online on 7 - february -2016 from flipkart.com, this phone working fine till 25-june 2016 then suddenly its turned off so i submitted my phone to their authorized service center based on lazpat nagar new delhi, however its more then 60 days and they are not be able to repair the hand set i have also called to the mi customer care center even they guys are not be able to telling me the current and correct status of my hand set, i don't have any trust on this product any more, and they have almost spoiled 2 months warranty of my phone as my phone is in their service center from almost last two months, i want my money back with all the losses which i have to bear due to their poor service.
                              From past few days my xiaomi redmi note 3 (gold, 32gb) cell phone is rebooting unexpectedly .I tried factory resetting the device but nothing worked .Earphone is also not working properly this problem is constant from the day I got this device, I hope you respond to my query soon.

                                I have purchased mi4i mobile phone from amazon on 13th oct 2015. After 8 months, one day the phone got switched off and did not start again. The phone is in warranty and i have taken it to its service centre in ranchi on 9th june 2016.

                                The phone is with service centre from last 2.5 months and they have not fixed the issue yet. I have called them multiple times and even visited service centre but they are not providing any specific date on when the issue will be resolved.

                                I have also called on mi toll free number [protected], they are also not providing any specific date, when the phone issue will be resolved.

                                This is very frustrating now, i have spent a lot of money on buying the phone and now they are not even bothered on providing customer satisfaction.

                                    I purchased a mi redmi 2 prime 4g phone in the name of naman agarwal, on feb 06, 2016 and as a result of the non-functioning of back camera it was sent for repair on 23.06.2016 and the expected return date was 04.08.2016. We have been to the service centre a number of times but to our disappointment your service team said that there were no spare parts available! I need the status of the phone. Within 24 hours and please reimburse my days of warranty lost as a consequence of your negligence! Or else i will be compelled to move to the consumer court.

Yeyterday i visited that service center n they told me come after u got message or call from us. And they also told by laughingly, yet those who had submitted their mobile on 5th of july that not yet serviced and you had submitted on 23rd july, wait for another one month, i am so irritated from mi...! My service order no. Is - wxin[protected].

                                        Dear sir/mam,

                                        This is to inform that vide order no. [protected] i have purchase redmi note 3 handset from mi app on 13.05.2016 which was delivered to me on 18.05.16. After few days the phone started to hang which i thought might be normal due to bug on miui version. For resolving the same i updated the miui version to the latest update provided for the handset. Still the problem existed and it then started to reboot too and after some time the phone automatically got switched off. For resolving the issue, i contacted your authorized service centre at kolkata (Xiaomi exclusive - kolkata, 20h park street, ground floor, kolkata) dated 01.08.16 who later on did the software format and gave me the handset stating the problem is resolved. Still the problem was not resolved and i handed over my set to them for further inspection. They later on confirmed that the problem was not related to the software but the mother board is having a malfunction and has to be corrected.

                                        Since i am not satisfied with the quality of the handset purchased, i would request you to kindly replace the same or refund my amount.
