I had ordered a Bluetooth speaker (gold) in on June 2, 2016. No option for cash-on-delivery was provided to me, and I had to pay through netbanking, which I did through ICIC Bank. The order no was # [protected].
On June 9, I got a message stating that the product had been delivered to me from MI India.
I immediately send a message to the team stating that no product was received by me.
Within two days, the customer care called to ask if the product had been delivered to me, which I stated no to. They said that they would investigate the matter and revert.
several rounds of calls and discussions later, a Proof-of-delivery was forwarded on July 9, 2016 (one month after the supposed delivery). This was signed and initialed by someone else. I called up the service line and told them that this was not something I had signed and that I had not received the product. Again all I got to hear from them was that they were looking into the matter and would revert. My last call to the company was on Friday, July 29, 2016, when again the only reply that I have had is that the matter has been escalated, and that we will revert soon.
This was my worst experience in shopping with MI India, and the matter has been dealt very shabbily, to say the least.
I have been neither provided with an assurance that the product would be delivered or that money would be refunded. I would advise that next time you buy from Mi India, please do not pay upfront.
