Problem with mi 4i mobile device - i had bought mi 4i last year and after 10months, suddenly it stopped working, motherboard. as it was under warranty, i gave it to service center at indira nagar, bangalore on 31th may-16 and they said it may take 7 days and i will receive a message once fixed.
Now, its been 46 days (on 15th july) and still i havent got the message.
.inspite of continues followup with service center on 10, 15, 18, 25 june 2016, i was informed that they have not received hardware from xiaomi team and it may be delayed.
Its been 46 days my phone is in service center and they do not know when they would received hardware and asked me to escalate to customer helpdesk.
In the mean time i followed up with customer support helpdesk for more that 5-6 times for escalating this issue but i never got a proper reply from team. very poor customer support and no proper escalation procedure.

When i called up customer care they said according to the company replacement policy is within 10 days and asked me to take the mobile to nearest customer care center. When i visited the service center he said it has got some OS issues and it takes around 6 hours to update the software. When i visited the service center again at evening 5pm on the same day to collect the mobile it was not done. I quietly asked him what is the reason and he replied in a loud voice saying you are not the only customer for me i have lot of mobiles to work on and asked me to come next day morning.
Next day it was switched on and i was very happy and took my mobile home and started using it. Suddenly there was issues with the touch and i was not able to even text anyone it was so horrible. Again i took my mobile to service center and the guy who serviced my mobile removed the mobile cover very rudely and started checking. After some time he called me and said he wants to put some hardware which will cost around 3000 rs. I was so shocked that a 20 days old mobile is either replaceable nor serviceable with the warranty covered. How can you expect me to give 3000rs money to the service center guy and get it repaired. For not having a single scratch on the mobile or any physical damage why should i give money to the service?
How can the 20 days brand new mobile will have so many issues. You people have given wrong product.
Is this how Xiaomi treat your customers? Xiami is fraud company stealing money from common Indian people by giving fake products.
I would request Xiaomi to provide the replacement for the product and do not repeat the same.
i have attached some of the documents along with this mail for your reference.
If Xiaomi is a genuine company then prove it by replacing the mobile.
