I had an inbuilt defect in celphone. Perhaps company is doing sale of defected phones along with working phones in flash sales. My phone is with warranty but xiaomi pays no heed in providing after sales service. I am enclosing proof of everything. They are making fun of customer by giving one and another day for pik up but never comes to receive it. Also flipkart takes no responsibility of its products.

    I've bought this phone probably 4 months ago and didn't even use it properly. The I ordered it from snapdeal and everything from order to delivery was good. One fine day the mobile went blank and started heating up, I immediately removed the battery after the heat was increasing. And then the real story started, my phone was dead and whenever I put the battery, it started heated hot red may be that's the reason they named there phones as Redmi. I leave in a busy area of Hyderabad but we hardly have the service centers by near. I am regular office going employee and can't manage to take a leave at all. However I managed to get sometime and went to the service center at Banjara Hills which is nearly 20 KMs from the place where I live and to my surprise there was no service center at that location when asked the security guard he said that they have closed the service center without informing anyone. I wasted my time and fuel and it was 1 PM already. Again I took a turn and visited another service center at Begumpet, which took another 30 minutes. People at the center were distributing a piece of paper and the token number written on it. It took 3 and half hours to get my turn. Now the first desk agent just saw my phone and said there is some problem with the motherboard which needs to be replaced and it might take more than 30 days. How can some one need 30 days to repair the phone and how can they expect me to stay without phone for more than 30 days? I am a corporate employee and a phone is must for me. I requested for a replaced phone but they said nothing such is possible. The people working at the counter are very dumb and waste time chit chatting each others. Though there were four counters, only 2 employee would sit at the counter and other two rest comfortably and come after 2 - 3 hours. I felt like I was cheated and there was no option left rather than buying a new phone. Looking at the complaints and customer service I have no hopes that I would get my phone back ever again. Ive attached the job sheet with all the details. Looking forward for the help from consumer forum at least.       i had ordered an mi4i mobile from mi.com site order no :[protected] delivered on 6/11/15 with faulty swollen screen .i filed a complaint (no:723335)on same day on official email id and email id printed on delivery box within 24 hrs but did not get any reply from them .my request for replacement of faulty mobile has been rejected .

          and it delivered at 21 October 2015
          after that i tried many time to know what is the status of phone
          but customer care executive always say, it is under processing

            I had ordered a Redmi 2 Prime from Xiaomi website. For 4 days order status was stuck on confirmed. Today after 5 days it says processed on the day it was ordered. I mean, whats going on?? Their customer care number is busy from 5 days and they also do not answer on chat support. This is the worst service I have ever encountered. I have no phone from 5 days and now the order status says DC to ship. Is it going from the distribution centre to shipping from 5 days?? What the hell!! They are not worth 1% rating they have got. You can see the order status as on 9th of November in the screenshot I've added.

              This is in regard to ticket no 608117 and 608249. My red mi note 3g device is with the service center since past 2 months. All I hear from them is that the issue will be resolved shortly since 2 months. Their Officials never care to reurn my mails. I have written to Jai Mani and Hugo Barra on FB but nothing happened. When asked for the contact details of the person to whom i can serve a legal notice, they are not responding.
              So please help me to file a consumer case for this.

                How Xiaomi has taken me for a ride (an expensive one)

                After much research I ordered a Redmi 2 Prime from the Mi India website on 1st Nov.
                I was a little hesitant because I read online that their customer support is one of the worst in the cellphone business.
                But since I had seen many friends using the phone in China, I decided to go for it.
                Also, I needed the phone asap so I didn't opt for the discount scheme (500 off Diwali sale) or any other E-com website

                I was pleasantly surprised when it was shipped and delivered on 3rd Nov.

                Immediately after opening the box, I found the speakers to be non functional. I.E. no sound of videos/music/ringtones etc. That is when my surprise turned to horror and shock.

                So, I sent them an email immediately on the 3rd November stating the problem. I received no reply and every single email bounced back.,
                Finally, the next day I was able to get through to the helpline number after trying atleast 70-80 times.

                The call center employee, Ms. Shivani, directed me to do various hardware tests and concluded I had to go to the service center.(Complaint No. 707815)

                My wife had to skip work and had to travel to the call center and spend 4-5 hours commuting and waiting in line.

                The gave me a copy of the work order which I had to scan and email them to get a replacement.
                Again every single email bounced back.

                That's when I got miffed. I facebooked and tweeted Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi India and every single Xiaomi person I thought would help.
                No replies!!

                Then I called up the call center on 7th Nov and they said we will email you with details about the replacement.
                Still nothing!!

                So, this is what i felt happened here.
                Xiaomi, for blocking my order in the higher price category, immediately ships me a faulty phone.
                Their "policy" only guarantees a replacement if there is a complaint within 10 days.
                So, now they are sitting pretty with my money and I am sitting furious with a phone that I can't use.

                Taking into account the time and costs I spent emailing/writing/calling these guys and my wife skipping work, travelling and wasting a day, I would not recommend anyone to buy a Xiaomi product.
                You would be better off going for a better, more well known brand.

                Because If its Xiaomi, its all BUYER BEWARE!

                  I have order MI RED MI 2 PRIME on 1st Oct and deliver at 7th Oct . the product quality is very low there was battery heating to much and battery charge not hold on .I give complaint about replacement on 11th Oct and pick up at 15th Oct and deliver to ware house at 19th Oct and still they not replace my product and give to excuse only i requested to them please refund .

                    Mi earphones usually cost Rs.999 and are always 'Out of Stock'. One I saw a post by Xiaomi India saying that there is a diwali sale and I saw that the earphones were available on that day for Rs.299, and i thought the cost is reduced because its a sale. But after buying the product, I have recieved a different model of earphones. These are a lower model and the quality is different.                     From The Given Address" whereas i am staying at the given address only.
                    I was not even contacted. It is a matter of 600 meters from nearby delivery
                    hub to my address and it reached 3 days back also. Please correct this kind
                    of service.

                      I purchased MI power bank 10400 MAh on 18/10/2014 and one more on 20/10/2014 through Flipkart after using both the products I had problem with the both the power bank. I contacted customer care to solve the issue they made me to run the corners of Chennai MI service center and the service center informed me that power bank cannot be serviced and informed me to contact the customer care I called them and informed them they agreed to replace both the power bank with a new one. My first complaint number is 2936 Dated 03/02/2014 and the second one is 3295 Dated 20/02/2014 then the service center combined my both complaint into one complaint and given 62779 as Ticket number Dated 10/03/2015. Still now as company agreed they did not replaced the product or refunded my amount I paid for it. For the past nine months company is frustrating me and not responding my several requests. I kindly request the consumer forum of India to take action against the company for selling poor quality product in online and do not respond customer complaint on product and close the issues at right time. Regarding this I also mailed to the Times Now Paper editor to publish the sufferness I faced with MI company.

                          I have place an order on[protected] which order no. is[protected]. i have received a faulty phone on[protected]. after that i make a complain in [protected]@surpluss.in on[protected]. after 3-4 day they take the faulty phone back on[protected] through bludart courier which way bill no. is [protected]. after taking back the phone they send me a another phone on[protected] which replacement order no. is[protected]. this phone is also a faulty product.after that i make a complain again in [protected]@surpluss.in, they told me that please go in mi store and collect a job sheet after that we will help you . i went in mi store on[protected] and take a job sheet from mi store and email it to [protected]@surpluss.in, mi service center people said that the IMEI no. of the phone is not registered in the record of mi store.i told to surpluss.in regarding this issue, but they told thao they need a jobsheet for further help, i went in mi store again on 2.11.2015 for a job sheet, but they said that they can not provide a job sheet for a non registered IMEI phone . i told this story to [protected]@surpluss.in but they did not give any reply . please solve my problem as soon as possible . thanks

                            1. I ordered Redmi2 from MI store in Delhi on September 20th (Order ID #[protected])
                            2. First I got a dysfunctional phone. The toll free number never connects and I had to find and go to xiaomi service centre to resolve the issue
                            3. I was asked to get the phone replaced, so I finally managed to contact xiaomi to pick it up and get me a replacement
                            4. The replacement phone package arrived in 5 days only, but there was a rock( a stone) in it.
                            5. Its been more than two weeks and I have not got any response from Xiaomi regarding the same. My money is with them, and I got a stone. They are not replying to my mails
                            6. Its been over 40 days and I am still trying to reach out to somebody and get me some resolution. My money is stuck with them. I want my money back ASAP.

                                I purchased Mi4i 16GB worth Rs. 12999 on 17th Sept, 2015. Within a month the cell Phone got an issue with display (manufacturing default). So I submitted my Phone for repair/replacement in Mi service center( S.G. INFOTECH- Boriwali West Mumbai-92) on 12th Oct. 2015 and till now I had visited more then 3 times and every time the service center replies me that I'll get my Phone in or after next week and have not yet received my phone back. So how come I can trust this company, therefore I want my money back for which I purchased the Phone... So I kindly request YOU to contact me by mail or call. Contact me for all relevant documents

                                    I purchased Redmi prime before month. i am facing problem in calling and picking call otherwise phone is working well in the same i contacted MI service centre Kalkaji which is ruined by HCL company. They are refusing to repair my device and asking that their is a small short curcuit in Motherboard. I am confused that if the phone is in warranty then why this motherboard is not in warranty. Its very bad it was purchased one month back only. This is not fair. kindly help me to sortout this problem.

                                        I have bought a redmi note around 7 months back and it has started behaving abnornally -intermitient hangs for unlimited time -reboots while multitasking -yellow color permanent patches at corners of screen -permanent color imprints on screen when lit up -sluggishness while chatting over whatsapp, emailing etc -open camera - click a picture-takes unnecessary long time -poor battery performance
