I purchased a Yamaha Fascino scooter in February 2017. It is August now and I have not yet received a helmet (part of the vehicle's free accessories which they actually charged for).
Since the month of purchase till now, I keep visiting the company dealer more than hundreds of times and always sent back home empty handed with a FALSE promise stating that I will get it the next week. It has been I do not know how many weeks they have promised me so far.
Whenever I ask them about the status of my helmet, they have just one answer: "The company (Yamaha) has not sent the stock yet". I keep getting excuses like this from the service people and the manager at the dealer store.
I bought the vehicle for my wife as a birthday gift. She does take the vehicle to her work everyday wearing the old helmet. I can buy a new helmet for her, but waiting for the one that I am suppose to receive it from the dealer - and I actually paid in thousands for the entire package.
I really do not understand the issue. Should I blame the dealer, or the company "Yamaha" which produces two-wheeler vehicles in millions alone in the country. I am stunned about the idea that if a company like YAMAHA can produce millions o[censored]nits of two-wheelers in a year, then why it is SO DIFFICULT for its dealers to provide one SINGLE HELMET.
