I bought Alpha in July 2015 from Sri Motors. I used to give my vehicle for service in Ekkaduthangal service center. Since the service was poor there, I started giving in Valasaravakkam. It is marginally better than Ekkaduthangal. I have used two wheelers of other brands earlier. Comparing with them, the service in Sri Motors is very poor.
1) Poor cleaning. Cleaning is done by security when the customer comes to take the vehicle.
2) I observed petrol level reduces considerably. There is no proper response to that.
3) While taking the vehicle for service, technicians do not check the vehicle for issues (that the customer may not feel/report) and while delivering, technician does not explain the services carried out to the customer.
Few months back, I have complained to Yamaha India. But I don't see any improvement in service.

    I purchased FZ-S in JANUARY 2015, within three months i got engine issues . the problem was with poor quality of VALVE. I gave my vehicle to service center. They kept vehicle for 3-4 days and returned saying that problem is solved. But now again the problem is back, is the quality of your products is so BAD that it is failing every now and then?

    I need immediate response for this issue!

    Else I know how to make this issue big enough to reach your CEO as even I work in AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY itself.

      I purchased bike from amrit motors ludhiana in dec 2015, at the time of purchase i was informed about facilities about the bike. One of the facility was 11 free services as normally only 6 free services are offerd. Also i have taken the extended warranty for rs 777/-. Now as per my job profile, i got transferred to mandi gobindgarh (Near khanna), now dealer is saying that your 6 services has passed so now you have to pay for service.
      Also there is only one free service punched in your software while i have availed it 4 times from amrit motors ludhiana till nov 2016. Now although i have paid for extended warranty, i am not getting my extra 5 free services.
      As free service data entry and misguide was from dealer side ludhiana, i feel really bad about company policy. I request you to look into the matter urgently and get my earlier free services data punched into your system and credit my 5 extra free services of extended warranty.

      Now i have come to know that amrit motors ludhiana's license got cancelled in may 2016, why didn't i got any sms or mail regarding same!

        Hi,

        This is Prabhuraj Kulkarni and I'm writing this mail to convey Yamaha motors that the spare parts used in Fascino are of low quality and doesn't comply to standards.

        My scooter shock absorber got worse within 2 years o[censored]sage and the same has been communicated to Yamaha showroom in Raja rajeshwari nagar bangalore and since from 3 days they are telling they don't have stock and they are not ready to give warranty for the spare part which is not acceptable as a customer.

        Please direct to the respective showroom and take action.

          Worst products, unworthy brand. fraud dealer network. they are just formed fraud dealers along with them just looting money from poor people.
          yamaha raz zr - stopped on first day itself.
          dealer said story1 on day1
          again problem accoured
          now dealer saying story-2.
          when i compaint the same to yamaha india (the boss of frauds). took 48 hours (means 6 days). now without doing anything just saying take back delivery of scooter same fraud dealer fixed all the issues. it will not stop at all.

          they can't give in writing that what was RCA and solution.
          this itself explains how they are trying to save their fraudster network.

            I bought a fascino on 15/02/2017 new model. It is noticed that the head light always on mode. I contacted the dealer about this compliant and they are telling that it is as per govt rules (Euro iv). It results lost of energy, battery and life of bulb reduced. Kindly solve

              Hello sir/madam..mene apni bike ki servicing 3 feb.17 ko hariom Yamaha m karai thi or usi din new battery bhi lgwai market se.. 14 din bad meri battery m problem hui fr m battery wale k pas gya jisme muje btaya gya ki bike m problem h fr m service center aya jahan muje bola gya charger change krwalo jo ki mene krwaliya fr battery bhi frse new lgwai bt aaj 1 march ko wahi problem hui battery discharge hui fr m service center gya jahan muje bola gya ki kuch or problem h magnet se related aap bike chhod jaiye or 1400 tak ka kharcha ayega agr yahi phle chek krlete to muje aaj problem na hoti or jo charger change kiya tha jo sahi tha uske rupaye ni lgte..plz muje jo problem hui or inligal expenses hua uske liye justice ho.

                Hi, got my bike serviced at Adarsh Yamaha, F 26/4 Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi - 110020. Dated :[protected], Invoice No.: 11289, Job Card No.: 1816.
                Total sum was Rs. 5290.30. But what I paid is Rs. 5448.00, exactly 3% extra money for paying with credit card (date:[protected], MID- [protected], TID[protected], Invoice - 000979)

                I need to know the reason for this 3% extra charging. Why they are encouraging people for cash transactions when the whole world is going for cash less.

                And I want refund the 3% extra money paid.

                Hi,
                I want to buy a bike FZS v2.0 on 23rd March, 2017 at Pearl Yamaha, Kondapur(Gachibowli-Miyapur road).
                They are asking 2% extra charges. Why should I give extra 2% for paying through credit card.

                I need to know the reason for this 2% extra charging.
                Why they are encouraging people for cash transactions when the whole world is going for cash less.

                Should I buy the bike or not? If yes, I don't want to pay extra 2%.
                Please let me know your responce by 23rd March 2017. So that I will go futher.

                  On 17 Jan, 2017 i have taken the delivery of FZS-Fi white color from Goyal Motor Pune from the first day itself i have been having issue with my front suspension its making noise as if its broken i have complainted about ot 4-5 time and handed my vehicle to them for repair but it has not been resolved till now not after my 1 st service also, on 26 Feb i have given my vehicle agin for full day for repair but again the same issue i am getting and not only that this time my side graphic stickers are also tampered. what should i do now service center is blaming the yamaha and now i think i have dumped my 1 lack rupee in purchasing this bike. Please help

                    Purchased date: 10 March 2015. 4th time I m writing this mail to you. From past 8000 km I m facing engine related issue some noise from engine, engine getting stuck when I go more then 3000 rpm several times I have complained 3 times I have put my bike at service at pepal Yamaha Maninagar ahmedabad-8 they have kept my bike for more then 7 days for 3 times the person named mukesh was assisting me even they send some engineer from Yamaha from rajkot to inspect he just checked from exterior part didn't even touched my bike. Last time when I kept my bike for 7 days mukesh told that there is some problem in bore recently I checked the bore is untouched and mukesh was asking for money for bore repairing work I didn't pay a single rupee as my bike is under warranty. now I m Tierd of complaining to you people please provide me a proper solution.

                      I bought ray zr (vinayak yamaha, domlur). on the day of deliver, after riding 6 KMS it got stopped. sales person took the scooter and after 2 days he handed over the scooter saying they fixed everything, gave me a spark plug which caused the issue. now they replaced and it will work fine. trust with brand and i took the bike but after a day, again it stopped in same manner. this time i pulled it to service station. they requested one day to analyse and fix the problem and took 2 day to fix and now they are saying it was minor electrical problem it is fixed. i paid money to get a new scooter, but i guess instead of new i got refurbished scooter. i never heard anywhere saying on delivery day itself scooter getting problems. if you are a trust worthy brand and whatever you technical team said is true. then write the same thing in letter and handover to me, then i will take the bike from your service station. otherwise let it be with you until you feel this poor man's frustration.

                      fraud yahama india, selling refurbished scooter and not understanding customers. they told their team will call me to resolve this issue. now they are saying go to dealer and take scooter delivery. you really thinking i am so stupid waiting for 3 weeks to resolve this.
                      I have brought a Yamaha Ray z, after 8 moth back shock up have oil leak. I asked to do shock up recondition but the service center SN Yamaha Kottakal asked money to do recondition.

                      Mr. Dhanapathy is one of my colleague. Initially he was damn happy to get a bike from Yamaha and looked for a good outlet. He heard that Domlur one provides a good service than anyone and booked a bike there though there were couple of outlets near to his home, which is approximately 11KM.

                      Even we were happy to see his new bike but unfortunately he had been going through lots of troublesome with the new bike. It just stops while running and doesn't starts. After servicing with vendor, it again caused the same issue of getting choked while running and doesn't starts. Due to which he was going late to office and days were failing. Huge loss and time.

                      Yamaha is not assuring that this wouldn't happen again. He has paid the money and he should have been replaced a new one after the second failure.

                      We don't think Yamaha values customer money and time. I never thought they would provide such a poor service. He not losing a good customer but they lost a good review what he had earlier. I don't think we would promote Yamaha to anyone.

                      I suggest Yamaha to replace a new bike for him for the hope he had on you. Make sure that it's been tested thoroughly.

                          Fz version 2.0 is my bike which crossed about 12, 000 kms in 8 Months and makes same sound as shown in video. I was frustrated with sound and sometimes thought to sell my bike also. After many efforts, i changed chain kit along with Damper, bearing, collar and sprockets. After changing all these the sound was so good as it hears as a new bike sound. I Felt very happy by listening to sound but my happiness doesnt exist for more days. Only in 4 days which runned about just 150 kms again the sound changed and was frustrated again.
                          Is it really a Manufacturing defect? or problem in Driving the vehicle? Al the bike experts and users please reply if you know any suggestions for reducing sound...

                            I met with an accident and gave my vehicle to Yamaha showroom for parts replacement on Dec 30 2016 then joined in hospital for treatment. I discharged from hospital, yet my bike didn't see the light of the day. January went and it's February 21. Yet I couldn't get my bike. All they say is that their place is under Renovation process. So I have to wait. Initially they told they will finish the entire process in 4 days. Meanwhile I called them many times, all they say is come now and collect. When I go there they say can I come in 2 days. This went on and on for 54 days. Today they told I can collect my bike in 1 hr. When I went there, they told they misplaced my bike keys. And they were asking me to look for duplicate keys. All these days, as I don't have biken i took taxis for travelling. I lost my money and my patience. I have all the documents supporting this statement, taxi bills and calls recorded. I wanna lodge complaint in consumers court as my dad himself is an Advocate, this would be the only solution I see now and ever.

                              Two days back I got my bike serviced at one of your service center at Noida sector 10 centre but m inspire of paying a huge amount for the bike service my bike is still making noise and is running like I am dragging it even m not sure they have replace the parts which they have charged me for.
                              I am highly unsatisfied with the kind of response I got from there as they are not ready to listen when I complaint there after taking a test ride. Didn't expect this kind of behavior from Yamaha. Request the officials to kindly look into the matter before I take some strict actions against them.

                                I recently bought a R3 from Vinayaka motors domlur and got very bad image on yamaha...They made a scratch and when reported to managet, He himself says that he will make scratches and can't give 100% of the bike. He also compare bike do get accident so he is asking to consider like that...on top of that coolant is leaking in a new bike but they are least bothered to fix it instead tied a tape on it still not been fixed..On top of that my R3 first service I was there with them, they asked some beginner to train on my bike for servicing as the trained r3 guy was on leave and called a outsider for support him as well, end they serviced it but this is how they service r3 think about your bikes guys, they never give accurate time, imagine i booked seat cover last year for R3 after 2 months they bought a cover from local shop and said yamaha product not available, and still they haven't paid my excess amount which I paid for R3 while purchasing the vehicle, they act like nice but pure poison...

                                Hello... . . This is Kumar. I bought a Yamaha S Z Version 2.0 and the bike front - handlebar to front wheel that area is worst condition. Handlebar is bend and balls are jammed. very very worst service of that yamaha dealer and yamaha factory.

                                  I need a help. I am facing a problem with my fz16 2009 model...i have done a total of 80k kms and recently did head lapping an cylinder kit change with engine bearings at the Yamaha authorized service center in Coimbatore.

                                  Problem: upto 500kms i didn't face any problems it was smooth. But after that suddenly when i down shifted the gear from 3rd to 2nd the bike totally stuck, the back wheel is completely locked without any movement. And Everytime i shift gears it give me a noise. Again downshifting stops the bike at the spot.
                                  What are the possible reasons for it. Service center guys aren't able to identify the actual problem. Im pissed off help me please!

                                    I have bought (Yamaha Ray Z) bike on 15-Feb-2017., there is no light switch. It's working always when using bike key. While asking to the bike dealers, they are telling it wont be off and no sensor, it will bright always morning and night. So by my bike battery has down up very faster. And people are keep on telling my bike light is on at morning by style, like showing fingers open and close.

                                    There is good respect yamaha bikes. Even though they are releasing bike without light switching is, very nonsense.

                                    (I want answer me)
                                    1, what 's the benefits of lights always on?
                                    2. Why there is no switches?
                                    3. Why have you not fixed light switch as like other bike? Police men warning me more times.
                                    5. It's whose mistake yamaha makers or yamaha show room dealers?

                                    I need quick response, or else i might be post the regards this complaint in Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter. When we spend our own money, Yamaha dealers not responding properly. It is my first buy from Yamaha and i get disappointed very much.

                                    I am getting a sound in front panel. Like tok tok sound while bumming on road... It's very unpleasant sound while riding my bike..

                                      I bought Yamaha R15 V2.0 (Spirit Yamaha, Kothrud, Pune)on 16 Jan 2016 . In last couple of weeks ago I found some bubble on left side panel at the down..Then after some time the paint on the panel is rotten out. Is this quality of paint Yamaha use on their bike which is cost about 1.35 lacks. The quality of paint is to bad. Hope Yamaha will replace it with the new one. Thank you

                                        I am great fan of Yamaha since my childhood to till now and had huge respect for the same. I wanted to buy the new Yamaha FZ 25 and made my booking on 6th February 2017 at Raj Yamaha Adyar Chennai ( a registered Yamaha dealer) and they gave me a promise that they bike would be delivered by end of this month and I can see the display piece which will be getting delivered next week.

                                        Now when I called the concerned show room they have said to me that they are clueless and the display piece will be coming by end of this month. When I enquired them why they are going back on their words I got an answer that it is Yamaha that is doing so and not them . When I said that they have made false promise I got a very rude answer that is how it is and just keep the phone down. When I said to him. Whether I can enquire this ambiguous statements of them to Yamaha, I got a very rude answer like do what so ever you want and nothing can be done here .

                                        After following motogp for all these years, the legacy of Yamaha as I thought it would is not there . I feel so shattered and hollow on how I got a reply from a registered Yamaha show room and why is there such a difference is statements and the way the handle customers before and after booking of the vehicle. And why was there a false promise made ? . I am still in shock and also still believe that Yamaha would not do so and this is just a bad dealer. Hoping for some better customer service and answers here.
