I had booked a return flight thru Yatra portal (Booking Ref No[protected]. 3 passengers, Date of Journey 12th July DEL-MUM-DEL at 12:45 PM and Return Journey on the same date 21:55. Airlines-Vistara.
The tickets were booked on July 11 at around 10:00 am and was cancelled thru the Yatra portal around 10:30 AM on the same day. After cancellation on the yatra portal and i claimed for refund and got the message that we will confirm it with the airlines and it will take 24-48hrs for a refund.
The cancellation charges mentioned on the Ticket is Rs 6400.00 if the DOJ is 1 day, which was true in my case.
first i got a message from Yatra stating Rs. 12570.00 as cancellation charges (mail attached) to which i did not agree and disputed the same. The i got a message that it is a NO SHOW as the flight has not been cancelled by myself and Airlines is not refunding the amount. When i contacted Vistara they told me that the tickets has never been cancelled, Vistara also has shared me the required supporting documents for the same. Now Yatra is claiming that i had never cancelled the flight, as it was my duty. There has been different versions and everytime a new person is mailing me and reconfirming the details and giving a different perspective of the episode.
I had also contacted Yatra management team also, but i guess they are busy making fool of other people.
When i had booked tickets on Yatra, i paid to Yatra thru their portal and i cancelled my flights on the same portal, therefore it is the duty of Ytra to get the tickets cancelled and initiate a refund.
Requesting you to look into the matter and get my refund initiated along with interest on delayed in payments and harassment charges and the mental agony i am facing.

Greetings from Yatra.com!

We regret the inconvenience caused. As we have observed that you have chosen the "Claim Refund" option on a Confirmed booking bearing PNR 5MCF8I. Hence full refund is not permitted against the booking.

Claim Refund, the option chosen by you, is only applicable for bookings where:

1. Airline has canceled the flight
2. You have canceled the flight directly with Airlines
3. The passenger has not shown up, hence falling under the "No show" category. This option does not cancel your flight with Yatra/Airline.

@ Please note the claim refund was selected by the passenger on Jul 11 2022 10:50AM under ( Passenger has canceled flight with airline Category ).

    I made a flight ticket payment of amount 2069 the amount got deducted from my bank account. I made the payment through gpay and the payment has been done. My money also deducted but ticket not been confirmed and also there's no show of whether where my money went. In my bank statement it is clearly shown my amount is Debited to yatra but I'm not getting any transaction history or booking

    I'm being cheated i think so by yatra very disgusting this is.

    I got my refund back. They sent me the mail about the refund process and within 24 hrs the amount credited back in my account

    My money got deducted from my bank account while booking the ticket but i didn't get any confirmation mail sms or any other way for communication from yatra services. I don't believe yatra.com providing this much of hopeless services.
    I did my payment through Phone pay. I have the UPI Ref number itself.
    Please help me with this issue 🙏

        Hi had booked domestic flight(PNR-CTDBYH) booking ref[protected] on 21st July through phone pay li ked bank ICICI. Blore -chandigarh. I cancelled the flight through indigo. Indigo had refunded the amount on 23rd July to yatra. I got email from yatra to raise refund request.i raised the claim on 24th July. On its website under refund status it shows, 'no such requests raised". When will yatra refund amount into account?
        I am sick on emailing them and there is no number to call. I am not getting any response from yatra

          Hi,

          There are 2 issues with Yatra I’m facing. Rs. 39290 was refunded by Indigo for cancellation of my flight
          PNR - DK9KFS
          Booking ID[protected]

          1. Yatra hasn’t refunded my amount despite raising a request for the same and reaching out to their customer care multiple times (no numbers working, only email working where they’re sending the same system reply to every email escalation) for 3 weeks now. Screenshots attached

          2. Yatra is only refunding 28k out of 39k, and there’s no one to explain why they’re keeping my Rs. 11000+ which they’ve received from Indigo on my behalf since booking was via them.

          Need immediate refund. Kindly help in immediate resolution.

            I have booked a cab from Manali to New Delhi on 20th July 2022 from Yatra online website but i found out that the destination address is wrong written by the Yatra.

            So i immediately cancelled the booking within 1 hour. I paid 1027rs in advance for this booking.

            But Yatra is not refunding my money.
            It is stated that this booking was no charge cancellation 24hours prior.

              I booked a hotel through Yatra.com vide Booking Reference Number[protected]. When I approached the checkin staff in the hotel, he is saying that there is no such facility of online booking by Yatra.com. When I am trying to show the booking references, he is saying get out as this has become a continuous nuisance with respect to Yatra.com. We (family) are on the streets for more than half an hour and finally checked in another hotel by paying exorbitant amount. There is no response from Yatra.com, when we are trying to call them. no reply. I want Yatra.com to immediately return the amount paid for the booking, amount spent by me for another hotel booking and some amount for the inconvenience caused. The mail sent to Yatra.com and their confirmation mail are given below.

              I booked a hotel as per the following details. When I approached the hotel reception, he is saying there is no online facility for that hotel. When I am trying to show the booking reference, he is shouting and saying get out.

                Dear Sir,

                On 19th July 2022 I booked a hotel @ Nestway Asma tower Calicut by using yatra.com. Hotel Booking Ref Id :[protected].

                At the time of checkout, the hotel management not provided the GST invoice of the hotel stay, and informed me that I will receive the GST invoice from Yatra.com via mail.

                I am waited for 5 days, However I didn’t received any invoice from yatra.com.

                Asper the govt law, it is mandatory to provide the GST invoices along with tax details.

                Request you to kindly provide the GST invoice within 24 hours from the receipt of E-mail, I file the complaint in GST department for committing the GST fraud by yatra.com.

                    I made a payment on yatra using my slice card gift voucher, also I paid extra amount from UPI but after doing all this the booking information is not seen in yatra application.

                    Moreover I tried booking my ticket again after 1st failure. Again I paid 1, 170 from UPI extra and tried booking the ticket. Now the irony is that my money was debited and there was no booking information on yatra again.

                    I'm pissed off because this is amount of total 19k which I've paid and got nothing in return. moreover these yatra people are not having any contact number for customer care.

                    I don't know what will happen to my money, I'm just worried.

                    Another thing is that the money will be on the higher end if I'm booking the ticket again. who's going to compensate for that?

                        I booked a ticket for 4 passengers from Yatra.com on July 19th for Lucknow to Delhi. The money was deducted from netbanking and i never got the ticket. After calling airlines, they confirmed that there is no reservation in our name. Yatra does not have any phone number to call either. This is bad customer service. Money was never refunded for more than 6 days. And the price of ticket also went up resulting in additional losses.

                          I made a Bus Booking in Yatra for travelling on July 6th, 2022.
                          The Bus Service was cancelled by the Service Provider few hours before the scheduled departure.

                          So i requested the refund via the App and also sent a mail to the team [protected]@yatra.com.

                          But i still havent received the refund. Its more than 20 days.

                          I need the refund at the earliest.

                            I had booked a 2 nights stay in OYO 77536 Kallari Komforts hotel using Yatra(booking screenshot attached) Booking ID[protected]. Upon reaching the hotel on 23rd of July 2022 the hotel denied me check in at 3 PM stating they don’t have the booking for me from Yatra. I contacted Yatra helpline number after that and was able to talk to a representative only by 7.30 PM in the evening. The Yatra representative did put the call on conference with OYO customer care who stated that they have booked my stay in another hotel Capital O Hotel Samanvi International which is 25 kms away from the hotel I booked in Chikamagalur(distance on google map screenshot attached).
                            The Yatra representative assured me that he will call back by 8.15 PM and confirm the booking or give an alternative solution but no one called neither I could reach any other Yatra representative. I was left out on road with my wife without a hotel on my 3 days vacation in Chikamagalur. Nevertheless I spent again on another booking and stayed in another hotel for one night via MakeMyTrip(booking screenshot attached).
                            There’s no help anymore from Yatra stating any details about change in hotel coz still they show Kattari Komforts only as my booked hotel which even the representative on the call confirmed. When I wrote mail to them, now they just reply saying I didn’t visit the hotel which they booked, but why should I travel 25 kms to another hotel which I didn’t book. I need my full money refunded ASAP. And in name of hotel booking this is a pure SCAM run by Yatra. They have screwed my 3 days vacation and I had to get back home on 24th July itself coz I couldn’t find another hotel room worth staying since prices are double on weekend here. This is a pure harassment to the customer.

                              I booked online flight tickets from YATRA.com from New Delhi to Patna of JET AIRWAYS airline. Flight was scheduled to depart on May 12, 2019 (Sunday) at 9:10am from New Delhi and has to arrived on same day at 11:00am in Patna. But before that, JetAirways suspended all it's operation due to their economic crisis. So my flight was also cancelled. For this I have right to get full refund. When I requested for refund from YATRA.com that time then they provide me a refund application number by email. I was told in the email that we are working to get your refund as earliest, you shall promptly receive an email communication from us, as soon as your refund is processed by the airline and initiated from our end. But i am waiting for refund from more than last 3 years but i didn't get it till now. Previously refund status was shown in website of YATRA.com but now it is not shown. To know status of refund, many times i mailed to YATRA.com but they never reply me with suitable answer. This is totally case of violation of the right to consumer. Please look in this case of mental harassment and solve it. I am providing all the details of booking and claiming refund below.

                              First of all, I am feeling glad now after getting status of my refund after 2 years. It is possible due to consumer complaint forum. Thanks a lot to this forum. Now I want to say from Yatra.com officials that please at least check once the website of JetAirways. JetAirways published all the information on their official website 'https://www.jetairways.com' in 'Refunds / Q&A' section related to refund of flight tickets which was cancelled by them during their financial crisis. They clearly mention there that 'The filed claims were verified and status of the same were provided in the List of Creditors issued from time to time. If you had filed your claim for the cancelled ticket, then please check if your name appears in the LOC (Version 9) dated 3 October 2020 (“LOC”) along with the admitted portion of the claim. Visit https://www.jetairways.com/insolvencyproceedings/ to find this list. If your name appears in the LOC (refer to admitted column of LOC for admitted amount), then you will be entitled to a refund of your actual dues, subject to a maximum of Rs. 15, 000'. I already checked list many times but my name is not in the list.

                              I want to know from Yatra.com officials that they said in their reply above that JetAirways haven't update them about the claim of refund but JetAirways already provided everything related to refund on it's website. Now what kind of extra updates and information they need to know related to refund?

                              And if my name is not in the List of JetAirways then who is responsible for this. At the time of cancellation of flight, when i asked for refund from Yatra.com by mail, they send mail to me in reply of my mail in which they provide me a refund application number [protected] and said that this application number is under a continuous follow up since 25th Apr'19 with the airline. I already shared the screenshot of that mail in my complain, please check it. According to mail it is clear that Yatra.com claimed for my refund to airline. But now my name is not in the list of claimer's of refund. So, I want to ask from Yatra.com officials that is that refund application number what they gave me was real or fake?? If it is real then why the status of this refund application number is not shown now in the 'Know Your Refund Status' and 'check your refund' section of their official website 'https://www.yatra.com'. The refund status was earlier shown here but now it is not shown. I am sharing the screenshot for proof below.

                              I am requesting from consumer complaints forum please look in this case of violations of right to consumer and take necessary steps on this.

                                Worst experience!
                                We booked some flights via yatra.com at the beginning of 2020 before pandemic had started. Unfortunately, after pandemic was hit in India, they cancelled all the flights. We called several times and not one time they were helpful. Neither did we get our refund nor any compensation. It has been more than 2 years now and still did not get any refund for our tickets. I don‘t know how many times we have to call them to get our refund. I am tired of this! Will never book with them again

                                  Hello,

                                  Have been following up on email regarding a refund against a flight cancellation made by the airline.

                                  Refund has been pending from more than 10 days now. An email with subject - 'YA:32393808' enquiry on status of refund" has been going on since 8 days now.

                                  This is causing a very big inconvenience to me and making the whole experience bitter. Kindly do the needful asap and look into this matter seriously.

                                    I had booked flight on 13th June from Pune to Madura but indigo has changed the scheduled which I was not comfortable and requested them to cancel my ticket. After cancellation indigo gave confirmation for refund amount. I have also initiated refund on yatra.com as per procedure and got confirmation mail with details of cancellation and amount to be refunded but it has not yet been credited in my account/credit card.

                                        I took a package from Yatra.com for travelling in Kashmir for seven nights and eight days. Again I had to pay extra money. I didn't get meals in hotels although they didn't confirm me previously. So I had to suffer much as had to give energy and money for arranging meals each time. They took enough money from me but only provided hotel without meal and just travelling cost although not included local side scene. I am feeling disguised with this issue.
