On August 26, 2020 I had booked a Yatra flight reference number[protected] at 11pm under the Yatra assure policy under which cancellation within 24 hours would be 100% refundable. On August 27, 2020 at 10:15pm I began attempting to cancel the ticket under the Yatra assure policy. However, the app kept crashing and showing error. As proof, I sent Yatra an email at 11:45pm showing the cancellation not working (attached). The next day, I spoke do Mr. Ankit Hada from Yatra customer care who requested proof of the cancellation attempt after which we were told that we should get the refund. However, as the flight got closer, we could not even cancel the flight from our end because it was within 48 hours of departure and Yatra customer care was not responding to us. (attached screenshot of partially refundable ticket and Yatra cancellation not working). It has been about 2 years since the incident and Yatra keeps sending emails saying that they are requesting refund from the airline whereas the problem was a technical error from Yatra's end. We should simply get a refund from Yatra without having to keep emailing them and receiving replies from them once every 3 months. This has truly been a sour experience and we have stopped buying tickets from Yatra now. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
