Dear Sir/Madam

I have booked a international holiday from Yatra.com on 19/2/20 with yatra reference no- YH 5866595.
I have paid the amount in full and got confirmation from yatra. Yatra has not booked any hotel or flights till now as it has asked me to arrange documents for visa. In the meantime CORONA Pandemic has started and i constantly emailed and called yatra customer center to cancel my booking and refund me entire amount as it was a honeymoon trip and due to corona pandemic it is not advisable to go outside for couple of months. moreover, I can't postponed my trip as per Yatra wishes.
Since not a single rupee has been invested till now i am asking for a full refund.
Every time i have got a pre formatted emails from yatra mentioning that i will be informed 30 days prior to departure and decision regarding travel in june has not been taken yet.
i have also tried calling yatra customer care but they end up saying that i need to email them my queries. so i am not able to talk to any representative till now.

i want to clarify here

This is not a domestic holiday, international holiday needs visa works which needs to be done 30 days prior to departure and this was supposed to be my honeymoon trip so, i cant go for it later.
I have repeatedly ask for the refund as i don't want any postponment of trip.So, yatra decision regarding trips in june doesn't apply to me as i don't want any trip now or in near future.

So, kindly refund the whole amount as any travel in coming months is not advised which is risk to life.

Hence, i don't need to wait for decision from yatra. I just want to cancel a holiday booking for which nothing has been done till now and want my whole money back.

      Hi, i have booked train tickets with yatra.com and due to lock-down in the whole country the train has been cancelled... But i have not received any refund yet from yatra.
      Irctc website is showing that they have initiated my refund 20 days back. But yatra your process of refunding the train ticket is so pathetic.. I have to chase u guys since so long...
      Please refund my whole amount asap.

        Hi, this is in response to my previous complaint comment from the yatra team - for the ticket with booking no.[protected], confirmation # nw94nk - payment was done twice.
        1st time it was made through google pay in the name of roshan alex charey (My collegue), 2nd time it was made using my own hdfc netbanking. The proof of both the payment have been sent through mail. Also, both the payments were done on the same day but i got booking confirmation against only one of it.
        I made the second booking using yatra only because it had the cheapest option at that point of time. Please reach out to me in case of any question on [protected].

          Pl refer our pnr no hkuj3q. Indigo airlines has given us full creit shell rs8032/- but while rescheduling our journey we are getting only benefit of rs 2032/ rs 6000/- are being shown as air line rescheduling charges which is unfair and not justifiable. Due to outbreak of covid19 worldwide all airline companies are not charging reschedule charges. So pl provide us the benefit of the same while booking for tickets for rescheduling our journey.

          This is with reference to your complaint regarding the refund under the PNR HKUJ3Q.

          We have checked the details with airlines and they are providing the credit shell for your booking, which you can refuse for your future travel.

          Currently, the airline is not providing a refund. The only option which airline is providing is a credit shell.

          For further clarity, please find below the airline circular.

          Booked for Travel Between 25th March till 03rd May 2020?
          In support of the Government measure to eradicate COVID – 19, All Indigo domestic flights are suspended till 03rd May 2020. We truly regret the inconvenience caused due to cancellation of your flight.

          What will happen to my booking?
          No need to call Yatra or Indigo to cancel your booking. Indigo will automatically cancel all booking between 25th March till 03rd May 2020.

          What will happen to the money I have paid?
          Indigo will credit the entire amount as a credit shell under your current PNR (Passenger Name Record).

          How can I use my Credit Shell to rebook another ticket?
          You can either write to Yatra or Indigo Reservations. The credit shell can be utilized within one year from the issued date, for the same passenger(s). You can choose any travel date as per your convenience. The Fare difference will be applied, if applicable.

            On 19th March I was booking yatra.com flight. Even though the money got deducted it showed that the transaction is incomplete. The booking could not be done. I told the representative that the money is already deducted, so he informed that within 24 hrs it will be returned to bank. I have still not got my money back.

              I am neeraj garg, i have booked a ticket from yatra with pnr : mjcnsz but i cancelled it due to covid-19. Now on yatra app it is showing that no refund is initiated for this booking. I have mailed them they are saying to check indigo website but on indigo website it is showing that ticket is cancelled and refund paid to yatra online. I haven't received the amount yet. Kindly help me through this.

                I booked flights with yatra.com with booking reference number :[protected] and both the flights got cancelled. One was with indigo and other was with air asia
                Indigo is saying they have processed a refund to yatra 15 days back and still i have not received any money from yatra and other flight with air asia im not able to get any information on the refund. When i tried to contact air asia, they are asking me to talk to yata, but yatra.com has no customer service or nothing these days and even i raised multiple complaints by email and on their site as well, but no response till now

                This is not yet resolved and i still didnt get my refund back and now yatra is saying i will get only Rs 1753, where you guys have previously agreed to give me 3948 Rs and i have email proof from your customer care for that .                   On 12 march, we have cancelled our flights with indigo and they have provided a refund to the agent, yatra. We were due to travel on 12 april. Indigo has given us a partial refund and vouchers to make up for the balance. When we contacted indigo for the refund as we have received confirmation of the amount to be refunded from indigo, they advised that the refund was paid to the agent. Yatra refuses to assist us and providing the refund done on 13 march 2020. We received a email asking us to cancel on their site but it doesn't allow us to do so. The reply we get is that the flight booking has been cancelled by the airline. How do we now get our refund that indigo paid over to yatra???

                    I had booked 2 air alitalia tickets - delhi to barcelona for 28th march, 2020 (Via italy - delhiromebarcelona).

                    Due to corona-virus outbreak the airlines had cancelled the sector from romebarcelona, as a result the airlines had to cancel the complete itinerary. I was told by air alitalia that i was eligible for a 100% refund as the flights were cancelled by them and i should contact yatra to get the full refund.

                    I contacted yatra for the same but their staff isn't responsive and kept telling me the same thing that:
                    "we would like to inform you that as per airline refund is not applicable however airline is ready to issue the travel voucher for full amount but need to use that voucher within one year from the date of issuance and only with alitalia airline booking."

                    Even after sending email confirmation screenshots from air alitalia, yatra never replied before 4-5 days and kept on sending me the same emails without paying any attention to my emails which had all the proofs. I even shared the airline's policies which clearly said that passenger's who have had their flights cancelled will get full refund.

                    I was really patient with yatra but they don't seem to even try to try and make anybody's life any easier, i had even told them to contact the airlines which they definitely didn't.

                    Please help!

                      I cancelled my flights on 27th feb 2020 but till date they are making excuses and not refunding my account.
                      These are the dates on which i cobtact their team and they giving me excuses:
                      On 27th february they give time of 5 working days.

                      On 7th march they give me 72 hours time

                      On 12 th march they give 12days time

                      On 25th they give me 3 days more time

                      On 29th they give me 24 hours time
                      On 1st april 2020 they gave my new date 15th april and make excuse of lockdown due to corona.

                      I had cancelled my flight tickets on 27th Feb 2020, and on that date there is no issue of covid-19 and till date I didn't get refund of my flight tickets. Kindly provide specific reason for not refunding the flight refund. I got the mail from GoAir that they refund the money on 28th Feb 2020 to yatra.com but yatra is not giving my money back. And doing mentally harassment as I am asking for my money from Last month and there is no delay from banks it's the delay from your side.
                      And I am not planning to travel in next 4 days but why should I wait you have to refund my money as soon as possible as you are harassing me without my mistake.

                      Please check my matter I had travelled but my flight tickets are cancelled and I book my own so the refund is pending from your side. So please don't time pass and make fool of me.
                      And I requested for cancellations of whole tour but your team rejected and forced me to go on tour in covid-19 condition, flight carrier company go air cancelled the flight due to corona, so I request for cancellation of whole package but yatra refused to cancelled my whole tour package and cancelled the flight tickets only whose refund is pending and ask me to book my tickets by own. And ask for confirmation of tickets booked by me so that yatra will plan accordingly after reaching Thailand.
                      I am attaching the screenshot of the mail in which your executive confirm my another ticket booking and refund. On different dates your executives confirmed me that they are crediting my refund but till date I am not getting my refund which is my main issue...so please don't harass me so much now...

                        On 21/03/2020 for flight booking nagpur to bombay was tried on yatra.com and money was taken out of my account, no booking, no sms, no emails received. Even after 7 days money not refunded. No customer service, no chats, no call center.
                        After contacting icici bank they said.. Money has been processed by yatra and no refunds were given.

                        Yatra has been veri irresponsible and fraudulent. I wish get my rs 4112 which has been taken by yatra for no reason..

                        This was the sms recieved for the transaction done with the UPI id... No booking reference number nothing was received from yatra.
                        The fraud company doesn't even have call center or emergency services number for customers like to reach them...

                          My name is Manishkumar Patel. Indigo has already refunded my flight (Chennai to Ahmedabad) fare on 22.03.2020. After completion of 1 week, Yatra has not initiated any refund till date. Neither customer care reachable nor they are replying online complain and email. Third class services from Yatra.

                              Hi,

                              I booked a flight ticket from indore to mumbai for 15th april 1.00pm with yatra.com.
                              My money got deducted from my account but i never received any booking information my number or mail.

                              The ticket was booked around 11 pm on 27th march 2020. The amount was rs. 2649.

                              The customer care number of yatra.com is not working and they are only allowing us to mail the complaints which are not reverted back.

                                I have booked an international flight to the us. Due to covid-19, flight got canceled by airlines. When i contacted delta airlines, they offered full-refund. However, yatra is charging 40% as a cancellation fee.

                                When i contacted customer care, they didn't respond. When i opened the ticket through their portal. They marked ticket as resolved.

                                Yatra is cheating with the customers.

                                  Due to corona virus flight from cochin to abudhabi has been cancelled & i got mail from gulf air they said that amount will be refunded through yatra i have taken ticket from yatra.com my book reference[protected]. My departure date is on march 28 i mailed several times & even called they were not picking up the phone & not getting a proper response from them please solve this issue immediately

                                    My reference number for the Bali package is YH5833876 which was supposed to commence from 28 March up till 06 April. For the same I had given 2 installments payment of total amount INR 1, 10, 788.
                                    Foreseeing the situation of Covid-19 widespread i had taken up for the cancellation of the package on 6th March . The issue started there onwards, you took approximately 2 weeks time to resolve my query and kept forcing me to continue the travel by stating 'BALI IS SAFE'. However as per the reports by WHO, there were cases of Corona positive people being detected in Bali. Somewhere around 20th March, after wasting my precious time just by mailing you guys or holding on the customer care number, Mr Kanishk Bharti informed me that the refund will be given to me but INR 72, 674 after all deductions.

                                    The deductions when checked included :-
                                    Flight - 12, 508/-

                                    Land + Hotel - 25, 606/-

                                    Total Deduction - 38, 114/-

                                    INR 38, 114/- deduction for getting the package cancelled just to keep me an my wife safe from the widepsread COVID-19.

                                    INR 38, 114/- deduction for simply obeying the travel advisories issued by WHO, Ministry of Health and Welfare i.e. the Government of India.

                                    ON 21 MAR BALI GOVERNMENT DENIED VISA ON ARRIVAL FACILITY TO ALL THE INCOMING PASSENGERS

                                    SUBSEQUENTLY DGCA DID NOT APPROVE LANDING OF ANY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ON INDIAN SOIL.

                                    Now the situation is that we are under a lockdown for next 21 days, a janta curfew prior on 22 March and all international and domestic flights disbanded.

                                    Today, I received the refund amount of INR 72, 674 after all the deductions which should ideally have been waived off as it was A GLOBAL CAUSE COVID-19.

                                    YOUR REPRESENTATIVES ARE GIVING ME THE LOGIC THAT SIR YOU RAISED THE QUERY ON 6TH MARCH THAT IS WHY THE DEDUCTIONS HAVE HAPPENED. THAT TIME CORONA WAS NOT PREDOMINANT.

                                    Yatra.com are you guys sick, what do you want, should i have waited for all this while and then today should i get my package cancelled??????? should i have waited for people getting dead due to corona and they have cancelled my package. INR 38, 114/- is not a small amount. I am a serving officer of the Indian Air Force and very well understood the situation well before hand and acted as a responsible citizen of the country, by not proceeding to Bali.

                                    Other than the Airline deductions, you are requested to look into the Land + Hotel deductions (which i never availed) and refund the mentioned amount as well. Being with the Ministry of Defence, i will seperately be taking up a case with the Tourism Ministry and DGCA as i am very sure that i am the only soul who is being harassed by your organisation.

                                    Shame on you Yatra.com!!!

                                      I have booked goair flight from patna to bangalore (G8-378) for sunday 22 march.
                                      Airline pnr-k5j5ns. Name : meena devi. I have tried so much to contact customer care but unable to reach customer care. I booked through yatra app. But during cancellation showing refund of 2209. But i have paid 6000 approx at booking time and as go air flight is cancelled i want complete refund as flight is cancelled by go air.

                                      I have cancelled flight from airline also. Airline initiated full refund. When i will get money back

                                      I tried booking a ticket on 23.03.2020 from Chennai to Periyakulam.
                                      Money got debited from my bank account but ticket was not booked.
                                      I tried calling customer care and written a mail to customer support but none of them responded for this.
                                      Please provide a solution for this issue and also for the refund.

                                        I am extremely disappointed with your behaviour. I have booked my round trip using yatra app. I have cancelled one sided trip through airlines website but unable to receive that amount through yatra app.
