I booked an air ticket by yatra app from hyderabad to lucknow via delhi. For this i paid 3205/- on 6th april 2020 for the travel on 21st april 2020 (Transaction details are there in screenshot attached).
This ticket got cancelled because of the lockdown so, i rescheduled the ticket for 11th may 2020 for which i paid an additional fee of 298/- as the fair difference to the airline goair at their website. Because of the extensions in the lockdown, this ticket also got cancelled. After this i didnot make any ticket.
So, finally i paid 3205/- to yatra & 298/- to goair.
Out of this 298/- i got refunded by goair today, but from yatra i got an email today (Attached as screenshot) in which they have processed 2905/- for my e-wallet however the actual amount was 3205/-.
This is pure extortion of innocent customers like me in this pandemic situation. Why they are holding my 300/- as commission? Is this the time to eat commission or to help the customers?
& e-wallet amount will again remain with them. How will i get my money back?
Moreover, in such a pandemic situation, i had lost my job.
So, i request you to please process my full refund so that i can use
It for my necessities in this hard time. Is this a time to enjoy with
The interest/commission earned by the money of innocent passengers?

You have booked the ticket with us and we have given you the confirmation. Flight operations are not in our control.
We regret, we cannot refund the convenience fee charges.

Updated by Ijlal Hood In normal situations, it may be non-refundable but if you are charging it in pandemic that means you are violating the Government's instruction of full refund as Govt has clearly instructed that all the bookings cancelled because of lockdown will be getting full 100% refund. So I request you to refund the full amount as soon as possible.
