Yatra provides what it calls a :"fare protect scheme" where if after booking the international fares fall, they will remit the difference.

Normally the fares rise so they have little risk as fares rise closer to travel date.

However in may case the fares fell and after a lot of efforts they transferred about rs 3500 as ecash which was supposed to be for unrestricted use as they are returning the difference of fare.

However when i tried to use this ecash, they said that only 2% can be used for each domestic flight booking, and nothing against international hotels. This is a joke. You can much more discount than 2% by a variety of promotion schemes.

So do not go by their promise of "fare protect" or return of booking amount as difference if fares fall. You will get nothing.

    Have booked for 1dec to 3 dec in courtyard marriott in madurai. Even while confirming my payment i have checked and taken screenshots. After my payment it tells me i have confirmed booking for goa on some other dates.
    I really dont understand whts wrong with ur app. But this morning its has wasted a lot of my time. I have tried to call ur call center even she cant help much asking me to go back to your app to cancel my booking.
    Now it's not refunding full amount. For no mistake of mine i have been penalized by yara

      Hello team,

      At the time of doing the hotel booking and this is the reference number "21968933" using the gift vouchers.

      At that time, i had four more gift voucher of rs.1 k each which we were not able to apply at the time of hotel booking. These are the voucher numbers which i am currently not able to apply for bus booking and only one coupon is getting validated.

      Please note — i have been told by holiday package team (Aditya, rahul & rohan) that i can use these coupon later on for bus booking but just now i have received a call and email from arun kumar and he mentioned that gift vouchers could not be used for bus and rail booking at all and only can be used for flight bookings.

      So, overall right from the time of booking started, i didn't have a proper customer service at all, second please let me know how can i use this coupon, third please let me know if you guys cannot club all these vouchers offline and make it one, fourth please let me know if you guys can help me getting this voucher getting encashed as e-cash into yatra account, fifth if these gift vouchers can be encashed into my debit account.

          Dear sir/madam,

          I am writing this email to you with lot of hope. Last 7 months has been very disappointing and frustrating for us due the issue i am discussing here.

          We had done booking with yatra for going from pune to singapore and back (Round trip). Flight from pune was cancelled by jet so jet had given us booking from mumbai to singapore and return. Our flight was on 26th march 19 from mumbai. On 17th march 19, that flight was also cancelled by jet.

          I had raised request for full refund (Rs. 79, 578.00) on 18th march 2019. Yatra raised refund request with jet on 28th march 19. Not able to understand why there was a delay of 10-11 days from yatra in raising the refund request to jet airways. It was a crucial period. Jet was quickly giving refund in that time window. My friend who also had the same itinerary had done booking through makemytrip. She got full refund from makemytrip in 3 days.

          Have not received my refund yet in-spite of continuous follow up and multiple visits to yatra gurgaon office for last 7 months.

          Yatra had initially replied to emails stating that refund will be provided in 15 days and then started stating that refund will be provided in 45 days. Did not receive the refund so far though it has been 7 months.

          It is a very difficult situation for us due to medical reasons, humble request to help us in getting our refund at the earliest. I am having major medical situation (Suffering from stage 4 avascular necrosis of hips), in need o[censored]rgent funds. Let me know if you need my x-ray and doctor reports.

          I have written almost 50 emails to yatra in this regard, have spoken to several associates in yatra (Ruby ji, mohsin and others) many times, my brother has been regularly visiting yatra gurgaon office as i cannot travel due to my medical situation. Also followed up with jet and iata on advise of ruby ji/mohsin. My brother visited iata office also 2-3 times. They had also recommended to speak to yatra management only for the refund.

            Air Canada refunded our canceled tickets from Zurich to Delhi and provided us exact amount and reference number which was shared with Yatra.com.

            Even after confirming thru email by Yatra.com about our refund will be processed with 24hrs, we yet recive our refund even after 15 days.

            We are in the process of filing an FIR against their CEO and complaint in Consumer Forum for refund and compensation. Booking reference No.[protected].

            Yatra.com is useless and cheap company. This is their strategy to give false email to fool customers. Earlier these ### claimed in email that my refund will be processed in 24 hrs. Now till 04.11.19 no refund received. They deliberately kept on hold refund money received from Airlines and EARN interest. My legal counsel is working on this matter and initiate legal action very shortly.

            on 22nd June on the date of travel, you have requested us for the rescheduling and our team has shared an email with you that rescheduling is not permitted because you are already no-show and we have not received any revert on the same from your end.

            Hence based on the no-show ticket status, we would not be able to process the full refund.

              Actually, i booked a ticket for my mom & dad, they were going to london to meet my elder brother and sister but mistakenly i booked the ticket before the visa start date, i agree with the amount deducted by the company for depart but return amount of that ticket should be returned.

              It's really a bad policy/service with such a big booking company in india. At least the return ticket amount should be returned because it got canceled 3 months before the traveling date.

              but it's not correct legally, Ongoing and returns tickets should be different, for example, if I booked 2 tickets for Train traveling then both will be separate. It's totally wrong.

                This has happened multiple times in the past as well and same again this time.
                I was trying to book mumbai-hyderabad one way flight. The payment got deducted through my bank account but no booking or confirmation was made.
                They donnot even have a clear customer care number to resolve the queries. Just keep writing them emails.
                Need my refund back. I will never transact on this website ever again after receiving my money.

                    I live in london and was visiting my family because of my mother's sudden death. I wanted to book tickets from dehradun to delhi but due to technical error on yatra;s behalf the website picked up 29/10/2019 instead 29/09/2019.

                    I called straight away but unfortunately struggled. After few hours of constantly being online and trying to find a resolution i got through someone who confirmed its error on their part and they would call me back. They then somehow cancelled my ticket and said i did it. While i was talking to them they mentioned i am initiating web chat which i obviously declined as i was on calk with them. Due to shortage of time i complained and rebooked my tickets with make my trip but got nothing back from yatra and i had to pay for their technical error.

                    50000 rupees means £60.00 for me but the trust and authencity is gone.

                    I would appreciate if this could be acetated as i wont stop as its my hard earned money and i am not sitting here to pay for someone's mistake.

                    We planned a trip to Bali with the help of Yatra, we initally got the iternary from 2 customer executives of Yatra, but once we paid the money the iternary which we got was totally different the flight tickets that we got was totally different. This is not acceptable at all.

                      I did enquired about thailand family trip with yatra.com 25th september & given quote of 33k person for travel dates from 31st sep to 4th october. As we have total 8 family members, sales representative asked me to pay 10000 inr as booking amount as flight cost will go high so that he can block for 8 people. Then i paid on same day. Due to some circumstances, i need to cancel this planned booking. Then i send email to yatra sales rep & talk to him to cancel my booking & refund. However yatra are reluctant to refund my 10k booking amount.

                      I am asking same question, why this is NOT refundable without issuing any confirmed flight tickets or hotel confirmation details. Its just under enquiry process.
                      If i got all the confirmation from yatra along with vouchers, then definitely agreed the process.
                      Hard earned money 10K goes in drain, its hurts a lot for middle class people. Pls yatra team don't cheat people like this. Try to re-consider & re-fund it.

                        I was booking the ticket from mangalore to jaipur on 30th september 2019, but while i was doing the transaction the session got timed out. A sum of rs 5790 got deducted from my bank account.
                        I need a customer care executive number to talk to. Yatra.com has pathetic services, dont have clear complaint options and well as their helpline numbers are also net working. While booking i didnt get the reference number too. So how should i claim my refund?

                                I had booked an online air ticket in www.yatra.com for travel to austria on official duty. The booking reference no is[protected]. This is an internation air ticket for travel in oct 2019.
                                While browsing for fares in yatra during july, yatra person called me (Dont know how they keep watching), and insisted me to book early as the fares may go up. He also said about yatra assure policy that if there is any decrease in fare at a later date before journey, difference will be refunded as cash. And fares will be monitored by yatra daily and it is automatic. So i made the booking in july 2019. But now, i saw the fares are much lower now and yatra kept quiet.

                                Since the fare is rs 10000 less i raised the claim and yatra agreed to refund rs.9390 but only as ecash which i can use for tickets purchased in yatra and that too a maximum of rs. 300 at a time. This means i have to utilise the amount in 30 to 35 separate bookings. This is not given in the terms and conditions of yatraaasure.

                                  I have not received any support regarding the jet airways cancelled ticket bearing reference no.[protected] booked on february from hyderabad to london round trip for 2 (Myself aged 78years and my wife aged 69years). Jet airways has given necessary comments to yatra regarding full refund but yatra.com company is not even responding to my follow up email for refund even after 4months and my booking is not shown ng on their website either. No one picks up call and not a single customer care number is working. I am contemplating legal actions against this gross misconduct against 2 very senior citizens and i have to approach the consumer forum.

                                    I have booked a flight from yatra for my grandma from kolkata - hyderabad-kolkata with pnr number y03x7. My grandma got medical exigency and couldn't travel. When i checked in the website for cancellation and refunds (15 days earlier from travel date) it showed only 414 rs refundable against 7000 rs tickets, the tickets were partially refundable.
                                    I don't think its a good business gesture to refund passengers so low amount, its closed to non-cancelled tickets. I just wanted to know what loss you incur by cancelling a ticket and refunding the amount (If cancelled within a reasonable time frame, i am not talking about cancelling within 24 to 48 hours).
                                    I believe its a profit to you because you will sell the ticket anyways to someone else with a higher price so why charging both parties?
                                    Its completely unfair to give 400 rs refund on 7000 rs ticket. I understand, the airline and yatra have polices but i think its just to make more money from helpless customers as they have to agree to your terms and conditions if someone need to travel for medical purposes.

                                      I have booked train ticket from yatra.com by paying through amazon pay, money got deducted but yatra is saying no booking is done, although amazon has shared a details of transaction.

                                      After all this when i mail yatra support for help they sent me automated mail replying will get back to you in 24 hr. Still 4 days are getting passed none has called me no movement has done by them.
