On 3 sep 2019 evening i received call from yatra executive mr roshan as he asked me to help me in booking my international tickets which i am already done workout, as he said that he can book the tickets in less fare as compare to fare coming in yatra app so he quoted me rs 144507 for two passengers so due to less fare i ask him to hold my tickets and he said he is holding tickets for next 24 hrs with same quoted fare, now when i called him to confirm my tickets and i want to pay then he is saying that fare is increased by 35000 which means he was commited me wrong and now due to his fault i will not bear 35000 loss because in yatra app fares was coming 146000 so he was giving me rs 2000 discount so i hold as per his commitment. I have no fault so i will not bear this loss so kindly help me and book my tickets at same price which he was quoted me. Waiting for your favourable response.

I want that you please listen my recording with mr roshan as he clearly told me that hold ticket rates will not change, i agree that rates are dynamic but my convern is that why he committed me wrong bcz if he will insist me to hold tickets then i had booked tickets at lesser rates. Now i have booked new booking with the help of mr brijender from yatra with a loss of rs15000 due to my urgent requirements of booking. Pls listen recording of mr roshan then come back to me then you came to know my exact concern.

We have heard the call recording. Agent confirmed the fare and the validity of the fare which we received from the Airline. He also mentioned that only two seats are available, the deadline which was shared with you was what we received from the Airline, Airline cancelled the hold flight and we were not able to give you same fare. You booking is confirmed on INR159678.00, after you have given a go ahead on the fare.

Yes that i made another booking because i have to book the tickets so due to Yatra wrong information i have to bear 15000 loss. My main concern is that Mr Roshan commited me that fares will not increase till 24 hrs or if fares increase then it might me RS 100 or 200 only. so please listen recording again. Your last reply was not satisfactary as this is only defending by yatra team, its better to call me and understand my exact concern

We have checked all the records, we have received the updated fare from the airline and same agent provided to you. We have no control over the airline system. The fare was increased from there end not by Yatra. Airline canceled the hold fare. Hence as per the discussion with you, booking was confirmed.

If you were not comfortable with the updated fare, you should need to tell us that you do not wish to go ahead with the booking. However, you have shared consent, based on the same we confirmed the booking.

    I had cancelled my journey through indio flight 6e 7225 dated 09 aug 2019 booked through yatra on 07 aug 2019 with indigo pnr no pip13t for journey from hyderabad to kannur.
    Yatra booking reference is[protected] dated 07 aug 2019.
    I tried to get the refund rom yatra.com but not succeeded.
    Payment of rs 7891 was made through net banking.
    Indigo authorities on contact intimated that they had refunded the amount to agency and to contact agency for refund.
    Yatra.com is failed to refund the cancellation refund even after lapse of more than three weeks.

      I m complaining about yatra train ticket booking.. It was cancelled from yatra site on 19 aug, 2019. The reference no. Is[protected]. An amount of 2300.96 is about to refund. Its been almost 9 days the amount is not received. The money got deducted but ticket was not booked so from yatra the whole amount was to refund.. Time limit was of 7 days. But it have exceeded more than that. Kindly look into the matter.

        I had booked a vistara flight from bkk to del for 30th august from yatra.com (Booking number[protected] under the “yatra assure” program which says that the fare drop is covered and so is the free 24 hr cancellation.

        When i called yatra within an hour they suddenly told me that it is under yatra assure but vistara does not support 24 hr cancellation so they can’t allow me free cancellation. When i asked why i have to pay a fee, they said that yatra assure is only applicable on “selected flights”. So my question here is, why was i given the option of yatra assure on the vistara flight if it wasn’t even part of the plan.

        Yatra deceived me with their flexibility benefits and as soon as i made the payment they brought in weird terms and conditions. Now i want to cancel the flight but i am not being provided the option of full cancellation. I am hardly getting 10k out of the 54k that i paid.

        Extreme unfair practice by yatra. Now they are blaming it on me that i misunderstood their terms and conditions

          I am sunil totlani and i booked a ticket from bkk to del through yatra. I filled in all details and made the payment. At the end, my entire money i. E ₹53, 766 was deducted but no confirmation or email received for the same. I called the customer care that very moment and they said we don’t have the team that can handle this case right now, i will have to make another booking or wait until the team gets back to me the next morning.

          Since i had to make the booking on an urgent basis i booked another one. Now, i have called yatra multiple times regarding this refund and they just tell me that the refund team will get back to me while not giving me any confirmation that the refund will be initiated for sure. Considering their image, i am really scared that they will put an angle to it and not give me my money back.

            Best bargainer wins in group travel in yatra.com. We booked our ladakh package 2 months before we got @75 k and our fellow group members booked just 15 days before got same package @52 k why because they negotiated better. Trick is to put the query and show no interest. We can also say a competitor is giving @lower price. What next.. You will have unbelievable deal. I asked for refund for which they gave me below email.

              Air tickets with jet airways booked in the month of april have not been refunded by yatra.
              The airline jet airways has already confirmed cancellation of the flight and has also confirmed full refund.
              I do not understand why yatra is taking so long to process the refund!! It is now 5 months past the flight date and it is sufficient time for you to get the required confirmation.

              We are hearing this since April! It sounds more like Yatra is trying to fool us into letting go of our money. Despite multiple follow-ups we have not received any concrete response or support from you.

                I booked this plan for manali and never realised that this could be worst travel experience for me and my family including two young kids.
                I was threatened, harassed and intimidated in front of my family all for asking for what i deserve.
                The tour started on thursday june 13th 2019. The driver came 40 minute late considering we were waiting for him on road near akshardham temple in delhi.
                While reaching karnal me and family told driver to halt at sukhdev dabha. Now he told us that lets go to shiva dhabha. It is only when we insisted that he took us to sukhdev. Once our food was over i called driver to get ready. To our surprise he was no way near the car and having his chats at a distance and he took his own sweet 15 min to come and start the journey. All this while we were sweating in the open.
                Now comes the lunch time when he took us to a shoddy place jimindara dhaba and told us that there is no other place after this.
                We were forced to eat there against our wishes. Again we were forced to wait for him to open the car rather than other way round.
                Also, all through the journey he was on phone speaking indecently while family was travelling.
                Somehow late night we reached our destination.
                The resort was nowhere 3 star as claimed by yatra team. Anyway this was a small inconvenience against what was to happen to us.
                Next day i. E., june 14 we planned to go to solang valley. While entering city he asked for rs. 300/ as entry tax. I told him that we are on package and he can check with yatra. Despite that he contested for same endlessly.
                While coming back from solang valley we told the driver that we will have lunch at jacksons near circuit house road where famous trout fish is served. He flatly refused to take us for lunch and dumped us at place of his choice. After lunch we went to hidimba temple and nature park and our trip was over for the day.
                All through the day his calls were on.
                Next day i. E., june 15 we went to manikaran. While coming back from manikaran i told the driver that we would like to do shopping in kullu. He flatly refused for this and misbehaved with me and my wife in front of my kids who were shell shocked. The driver threatened to down the car in valley.
                Immediately i called the given tour coordinator kuldeep chauhan. He is the worst person to whom i would have ever spoken in my life. He flatly refused to hear my concern. We told him to drop us to resort and we decided not to come back with him.
                I mailed yatra people for alternate arrangement but they didnt do anything.
                The yatra coordinator mr. Kapil chhaperwal also did nothing.
                My wife had to beg kuldeep chauhan to arrange for alternate driver and somehow we were provided for same. We did not say anything to him and quietly came to delhi while stopping at worst places and getting heat of the day as he refused to turn the ac at higher level.
                Yatra people refused to do anything except aplologising as if i am a begger. They offered me rs. 2000 ecash which i will not take.
                On july 30 2019 i got a call from yatra that they are giving me rs. 1500 extra. I told them that i am not a begger running after your money.
                Please be beware of this scam called yatra.com.
                I have now sent this complaint to central govenment for needful action. I will also approach ministry of tourism facebook and other pages for suitable action.

                Below is the Yatra reply to Centralized Public Grievance Redress And Monitoring System (CPGRAMS). See how they character assasinate their customers while hiding own competencies.
                On trip, client complaint about cab and driver which was changed by the vendor for their return journey.
                As per vendor, customer was creating issue and threatening the driver during the trip. As per supplier he abused him also. Later, vendor personally met guest wife and assisted with raised concerns. All the sightseeing were covered by driver.
                Attached is the email received from supplier. Initially we offered him 2k e-cash since driver was changed by vendor and all sightseeing were covered though client was not ready to accept the same hence later we offered him 1500 User money also. He is looking for cash refund which we have denied.

                  Hello sir,

                  I have booked a flight using my registered email id: [protected]@gmail.com and completed the payment process using gpay. But after the payment is completed i did not recieve any ticket confirmation mail to the registered email id and also it is not reflected in my bookings as well. After 1 hour i recieve an email stating my refund for amount rs 8858 has been initiated and will be completed with 2-7 working days.

                        The worst vacation package for himachal pradesh from may 24 to 30, 2019 organised by yatra.com (Refer no. Yh5097845)
                        We would like to give our feedback on our himachal customized package provided by yatra which was specially charged and this is what we received.
                        As we arrived at chandigarh airport, we observed all other travel agents were standing with placards which carried the guests name to welcome the guests.in case of yatra, which claims it is rated no. 1 in this business, there was nobody around to pick us. As we realized that we were the last passengers left, we tried to call the tour coordinator ashwani gupta (Kc tours & travels cell -[protected]), who never answered any call. Then we tried calling his driver (Called sunny cell - [protected] provided by yatra, he was found way behind in the parking lot of cars waiting for us to find him.
                        We boarded the innova car (Which had a lot of scratches on the vehicle, its air condition in the car had very low cooling, & the buttons on the front desk board broken, (Pictures attached) at 12.20 noon, for the first leg of our journey from chandigarh to shimla. At lunch, we stopped by at a dhaba. On checking the bill, we noticed that the bill was inflated by rs. 200. The dhaba waiter told us that he has added the driver’s meals amount too. We were surprised as we had already paid the drivers allowance to yatra in advance. We called yatra’s sales executive, for clarifications, who though not an yatra operations person was always available, whenever we called him after 24/7 customer service persons failed to offer any assistance) and after a conference call between mr. Ankesh, myself and ashwani gupta, this matter was sorted out, that no extra payments are to be done to the driver & that we have done the entire payment to yatra. All payments to the travel agent will be done by yatra. Ashwani gupta came with the driver assured us that he would refund the amount of rs.200/-. This was not done. All this happened, on day 1, immediately after lunch, while the car was driven by the driver to the travel agent’s office, all of a sudden. After luch the journey continued. We reached mashobra club mahindra resort, shimla at 6:00 pm. This resort is a nice resort. All along the way, the driving was very rash & on high speed. The driver was busy answering calls (Driving on a hilly region) all the way, with very loud music on. He was caught by the police, his license was taken. Here we learnt that he was caught by police the earlier day too for talking on mobile while driving. He had the fine receipt with him which he showed the police. For this, the police punished him to drive back 2 kms and then the license was returned at the spot where he was caught. (Waste of our time) the police also scolded the driver saying that because of talking on mobile, he could meet with an accident and take away the lives of 4 innocent people along with him. Still he did not listen & throughout the entire journey he was very adamant & continuously kept on talking with the travel coordinator with loud music on.
                        Day 2 - sightseeing trip to kufri - return to shimla
                        Driver took us to places which he had planned & not what we had asked for. We were not interested in the amusement park. This was discussed & was agreed on mail with the sales executive that we were not interested in the pony ride & amusement park. We had informed yatra of our disinterest in this. Whenever we questioned him about his plan, he remained silent.
                        Then he took us to mall road & said "you can ask & go whereever you want & call me when you have finished site seeing. We had to walk in the hot sun asking the locals for directions to the mall & somehow reached the lift to the mall road. (Two youngsters including one senior citizen & one 55+ walking in the scorching heat. He could have reached us to the lift!) then, later, inconvenience for us to search for exit parking. He was busy answering calls all the way with very loud music on.
                        Day 3 - drive from shimla to manali via kullu
                        Left at 10:00 am & reached hotel green orchards manali at approx 9:45 pm. What a horrible journey, rough driving, no ac in the car, sunny (The driver) stops at the worst hotel on the way for break. The whole day we all survived by eating biscuits & water.
                        Despite of several request to halt for shopping of shawls at kullu still he paid a deaf ear. Although the driver has been to those places several times he would never share information.
                        We checked in at hotel orchard greens. This 4 star hotel has one star facilities. This hotel had no lift and we were given 2 rooms on the 5th floor. One person who is a senior citizen & the other 55 plus of age, plus two more family members, all 4 o[censored]s had to climb 5 floors. We called for yatra's customer support & spoke to mr praveen to sort out the problem. This person never helped. I was forced to accept whatever rooms were given to me as the temperature that night was 8 to 9 degrees & there were no spare rooms available. The condition of the rooms were pathetic. The walls were wet, the sofas soiled & dirty, the toilets leaking, taps leaking, the chair provided in the room was so small for a 2 year old child to sit & poor room service. There was a 1 ½ inch insects crawling on the bed. (Pictures of the room & the small chair. You can imagine our plight. Day 3 – no sightseeing
                        Day 4 - sightseeing in manali
                        There were so many nice places planned to visit but the driver sunny just drove one kilometer & dropped us at the market place saying"from here you can ask & find your place."
                        Day 5 - drive from manali to dharamshala - sightseeing in dharamshala (Asean health resort and spa)
                        Scheduled sightseeing by yatra at dharamshala. Visit the tibetan medical centre, the church of st. John, local monasteries or try out some meditation courses.??? The driver did not take us to any of the above at dharamshala. The site seeing never happened because the driver decided to take a different route so that we don't halt and see those scheduled places. After a long drive of 40 kms the driver suddenly realised that he was on the gone the wrong way. Hence had to reverse the same distance... Shier waste of time. Was that a planned by yatra to increase kms??? Despite being promised that the vehicle being provided is ac, the air condition was switched off throughout. Every time i requested to turn on the ac of the car, the driver replied rudely, ”yatra has not booked an ac car”. The heat during the day was unbearable (38 to 40 deg at day). We called & spoke to jaspreet singh (From yatra's customer support) he was polite. But no effect. Travelling 10 ½ hours in that terrible heat - do you call this an enjoyable holiday? Noticing such behavior of the driver, we had to call yatra to check if it was safe to travel with this driver. Because on our return from dharamshala as we found his behavior very weird & we were afraid. Five mins after we took of from dharamshala, the driver had a clash with two young local boys who were riding on the motorbike. The driver left the innova car in the middle of the road & got out to fight with the 2 local boys which lasted for approx 45 mins. We not only lost 45 mins of our time, but one can imagine the stress & tension we were during that 45 mins until the entire drama was over. We were stranded in a isolated place, on top of the hill, just open land, & if the situation had to get worst (We mean the fight) it could have resulted into anything & we would have been the victims.
                        Day 6 - drive from dharamshala to chandigarh.
                        Besides main roads, the driver drove through lanes, sub lanes & rough roads. We finally reached hotel ramada, chandigarh at 8.30 pm. Without any siteseeing and lunch on the way. Still we reached so late because we were going round in circles, just travelling but never reaching. On the last day, we checked out at 11 am as per schedule hotel time. The driver was informed well in advance. He comes 2 hours late to pick us up. Chandigarh is a beautiful city with broad roads. But the driver drove through the hutmen colony & the fields & reached us to the airport at 3.15 pm for our flight which was scheduled at 7.45 pm and fled away.
                        After paying such a huge amount we came to himachal pradesh for holidays through yatra and saw nothing but only travelled & travelled in a car without ac on stony roads which was worse a horrifying experience. We went from one place to the other, stayed in a hotel and left for the next place, stayed in another hotel & this was continued from chandigarh to hp and back.
                        Travelling with that driver was like travelling with a maniac. Was he really of sound mind, we wonder… he was picking up fights with everyone one the road. (1. One big fight was while returning from dharamshala, on the way he had a fight with 2 young boys on the motor byke by dashing them. 2. On 30/5/2019, at 1.30 in the afternoon at hotel ramada, he left the car to hit the driver of another car, and the security guys (Sardars) of the hotel had to request him to calm down. 3. From may 24th ashwani & driver have been promising me for a xerox of the car permit and driver’s license, on the last day he just dropped us and he ran away.) we need an explanation from yatra & compensation for the torture meted out to us, four people, of which one a senior citizen, who left home for a wonderful vacation customized for us by yatra but returned very disheartened, disturbed & depressed.
                        We were lucky we reached the airport alive. We had to wait for more than four hrs for the flight. We lost not only our money but also most importantly peace of mind.
                        Conclusion : the entire vacation was messed up by yatra. Hence we request you to kindly refund the entire amount. Instead of relaxation all that we had received is stress, loss of money and depression, tension, and the wrath of the driver. The yatra team support was very very poor.
                        I want a full refund of hot. Green orchards, manali & entire site seeing car charges.

                          Rs 915.98 was generated with bank refund ref no[protected] and
                          yatra ref no[protected] due to indigo airline cancellation of flight no 6E 707 with PNR=JLUF6E on dated 15.07.2019.
                          several times i requested to rescheduled to on 14.07.2019, but customer care refused to do that throwing reason of no seats are available.Moreover all the time i checked at indigo sites it was available.
                          Atlast i was travelled on 14.07.2019 with PNR UNTU5E from bhubaneswar to kolkatta of Rs 7853/.
                          till now not refunded.

                            There is an advertisement on yatra website which says that there is an offer to get almost 20000 off with the code ytintfly. This is a big lie!!!
                            The code is told invalid even though your booking should be eligible for the offer as per the terms and conditions. I have tried to get this offer with other accounts but still not able to do it. I book a flight from lhr to hyd for 14 september 2019 and return on 29 september 2019. I paid 39k for the tickets including all the charges. I decided to re-schedule the return ticket which was on 29 september to 10 october 2019. On checking the flights in the website, the price of the flight is 21k. I tried to re-schedule it myself from the website but this option is not available with yatra. I called up the number provided on the screen. The agent who answered the call, seems to be lost. He informed that a call back is needed to be arranged to re-schedule the flight. I informed the agent that i have a very strict schedule and hardly get time as i work in night shift. I requested a call back at 11 am and i did receive a call then, the agent mentioned that i need to pay 12k more to get the ticket re-scheduled. I was in sleep and also didn't have that fund in my account i requested a call back again and asked the agent to promise me to call me. Nobody called me and then when i started chatting again, they informed me that i have to pay 14k now. Later at 9:30 pm i called up and requested to re-schedule the flight and they asked me to pay 15k. The price kept on increasing. Yatra keeps advertising that they give the cheapest flights and they help us save money. They are liers!! Just liers!! On cancelling my flight for september 29, that seat becomes free to be booked again. However i am paying for both the flights. I have paying 39k + 15k to get only two tickets?? Is this how customers should be conned? What about situations like mine where in there is an emergency and the flight is needed to be re-scheduled.?? I am requesting the consumer complaints boards to take a look into this please.

                              Hi team,

                              This is regarding the case of cheating from yatra.com.

                              I have paid 60k in advance to proceed with booking.

                              I have requested for the us visa assistance, but there was no such assistance, which can provide information whether i will be able to get visa on time, before the travel date. But they asked me to go ahead and pay the visa fees. Now there is no appointment for the visa until oct 2019. My travel date is on sept 2019.

                              How is it possible to have a vacation with this kind of planning?

                              I need my complete refund with visa fees as well i. E. 84k

Can consumers actually ever trust ur services. This is actually making me question y I even thought o[censored]sing ur website, will not do it again surely if action is not taken immediately.
                                Can u pls refund my money asap otherwise I will be forced to take legal action. Kindly look into the matter with a little more seriously.

                                  I had booked round trip jet airways flight from bangalore to london for april 18th. My yatra reference number is[protected].
                                  The flight was canceled and i got an confirmation email from jet airways stating they have processed the refund to yatra on april 17th. Jet had processed all refund before april 20th. I have sent the confirmation email to yatra customer care escalation manager on email and his whatsapp number.
                                  I have multiple emails from yatra starting from may stating i'll get my refund in 45 days.in june they said another two weeks.
                                  It's august and there's no sign of refund.
                                  They're not changing the story stating they can process it once airline gives them.
                                  The airline has already given the refund and my other friends who booked it via make my trip and goibibo have got their refund as they cancelled it before april 20th.
                                  Yatra is not returning the money inspite of confirmation from jet airways.
                                  This is inadmissible and clear theft of money from a customer.

                                    Today evening at 18.30pm, i have tried online booking of bus tickets for three members by morning star travels ac sleeper bus scheduled to depart at vijayawada benz circle point at 19.45pm. Unless refunded, kindly register my complaint in consumer forum and see that my deducted amount paid online is refunded with penalty.

                                      I have tried to book a bus from pune to nagpur via yatra.com, but the booking was failed and the amount has deducted from the account. I have contacted with yatra customer service, they told me that they haven't received the payment. I have also contacted with my bank customer service and they said beneficiary has received the payment. I am having transaction details with me and i have also mailed it to yatra. But unfortunately they are not responding properly and not looking into the issue.

                                        Address: B005 Nester Harmony, mahadevpura, 560048

                                        I had booked a flight with yatra booking reference number[protected]. The flight then go cancelled by the operator for which yatra was supposed to pay me back the charges.
                                        On not having received the amount when i contacted them they gave me just an rrn number and told me to follow up with the bank. Which by itself is insufficient information as they have not provided me the account number to which they claim to have credited this account

                                        Yatra should take responsibility for their transactions instead of asking the customers to follow up with banks and yatra to get their money back

                                        It has been close to a month and i have not yet got the refund amount back

                                        We have checked the details regarding your refund, the transaction is already processed from our end on 15th July, 2019. The refund has been processed into your same account through which you have made the payment.

                                        Please find below the ARN & RRN number, Request you to kindly check with your bank for further status.

                                        In case you have not received the refund in your account, kindly connect with your bank grievance cell/Nodal team. If they deny after checking with above-mentioned reference details, then please take the written confirmation from them and share with us the same we will take it up with the bank accordingly.
