My flight was re-schedules and hence I cancelled it with the airlines on 23rd March 2020. The airlines has issued a full refund but Yatra is still not processing it even after almost 2 months of follow-up. This is terrible service... They asked me to wait for 30 days and today almost 50 days are over but yet to hear from them

      We had booked holiday package to europe (For 2 person) from yatra (Booking ref id : yh5810556). Our departure was on 09 april 2020 from bangalore. Our departure has been cancelled by yatra due to corona virus issue. We had paid the advance amount of inr 73, 097/- to yatra. But after cancellation yatra is refusing to refund our advance amount, instead of that they told the inr 29000/- will exist in their account and that should be utilized for future booking within 180 days (6months) for holiday booking with in yatra only. The trip was not cancelled by us and when we ask for refund they refused to refund any amount. They forced us to use the other option of future booking within 180days. As in this covid-19 situation we dont want to travel anywhere and we need our money refunded. Please help us to get our money refunded. We attached the advance receipt and cancellation mail from yatra.

        I have booked ticket for domesticc travel date 16-april-2020 but airline has cancelled the flight due to covid-19 restrictions. I have contacted airlines indigo and requested to refund my credit shell amount back to my account. They have agreed and initiated refund on 27-april 2020. I have got confirmation mail from indigo that refund amount to travel agent yatra and they asked me to contact travel agent to get back the refund. Now, am trying to contact yatra support thru mail from past 12 days. But no proper response from team. I am not getting any info regarding refund process. But indigo confirmed money is with agent account. Please help as its a huge amount at this point of time. Its my first flight booking experience.

        We regret the inconvenience caused.

        As checked the booking under PNR OG7FNF was canceled from the airline and the amount was under airline credit shell. Later on 17th Apr, 2020 new booking was made online using the credit shell amount. Please note for travel dated 05th May 2020 was also canceled from the airline end. Hence the entire amount is under airline credit shell.

        Indigo has confirmed that they have reversed entire credit shell amount 3740 INR to RIYA travels account thru which yatra has completed booking. SO wanted to confirm whether its received or not.

        Indigo airline onfirmed that they have reversed credit shell amount to RIYA TRAVELS account from which booking was made by yatra. so, wanted to check whether refund reached to account or not.

            I raised refund request to yatra for PNR : R25JSM, as per the discussion thay had refunded my amount on 29-APR-20 and should be reflect in my accout in 2-2 days its been 9 days now, and am still hassling with them to get my refund

            Bad experience and they stopped replying to my tweets or mails

                My flight was cancelled by indigo airline on 21st march and they processed a full refund from their end (I have proof of that). But yatra.com (Travel agency) is holding this refund for more than 40 days.

                Booking ref no[protected] for pnr lhwcyp.

                I got a mail from yatra also on 21st march that this amount will be refunded.
                But it has been more than 50 days and still, yatra.com is holding the money and not giving the refund.

                Whenever i am raising a complaint on their website, they are marking it as resolved without giving any solution. It is mental harassment for me to follow up every day to get the refund.

                Based on my experience, i will advise others also to avoid yatra.com for travel booking.

Yatra takes 5-7 working days to process the refund, if payment has been made from a private bank, it will reflect in the same account within 2 to 3 working days and if payment has been made from public sector bank, it will take up to 7 working days for the credit to reflect in your account.

                For the last 50 days, Yatra.com is saying that refund will be processed. But the truth is they are not making any effort to process the refund. When I check Facebook, I see many customers complaining that it has been 2 months and still Yatra.com has not processed their refund.

                After checking with the bank, I got to know that the refund transaction id which Yatra.com has shared with me over SMS is invalid.

                This means that they have not processed any refund from their end. Just to mislead the customer, they have shared a random number as a transaction number.

                  I booked a ticket on 16th april 2020 for travel dated 4th may 2020, due to lock down indigo airlines has cancelled the flight and credit the amount as credit sell. Now the problem starts with yatra website, they are still showing that the ticket is confirmed and there is no refund for the same, i dropped more then 20 mails but disappointed by getting system generated mail, i tried every means of communication whether it is tweeter, facebook, customer care number, all got ignored with no response. I have never seen such a poor service by any travel agent. This is the last option left for me to raise my concern, hope yatra will show some courtesy and address my problem.

                      I had booked an international flight travel on 3rd march from bangalore to toronto for me and my family (2adults and 2 kids) on yatra website. My booking details are as follows:

                      Travel date - 22-apr 2020

                      Once the lock down was confirmed and further extended my flight by lufthansa was cancelled by the airlines. As i did not get any communication from yatra on my flight, i reached out on lufthansa indian customer service number to get the information.

                      Further i opened a support ticket[protected] on 9th april 2020 on yatra website, from there yatra support team gives me update on covid-19 rather than my refund. I have also shared my recorded telephonic interaction with lufthansa customer care to yatra support with no positive reply from yatra.
                      Now post my travel date (Which was on 22nd apr), yatra has happily updated my booking as completed.

                      Again i have opened a new complaint with ref[protected] for which also the support team will update as resolved without any reply.

                      My 2.15 lakhs is stuck with yatra, where i am looking for a immediate refund of the full amount.

                      Please note, the refund will be applied to the airline through RA ( refund application) and it generally takes 45 working days to get this approved. However, due to COVID-19, the situation is different therefore it will take time around 60days. lease expect a delay in response from the team end.

                      The reply you shared is an open ended statement for users like me to wait and watch. When a complaint is raised on a reputed platform, Yatra should give some concrete data rather than an open ended statement with 60days waiting period.

                      On the contrary people booked directly with Lufthansa have been told their refund will be done in 10 working days, but still a travel agent like Yatra with years to experience working with airlines like Lufthansa needs 60days for retrieving the refund from the airline.

                      Request Yatra to be specific on the refund. Awaiting your reply soon.

                        This is ujwala i have booked holiday package for bali from yatra.com in jan 2020. My booking number is yh5826528. The package amount was inr 1, 12, 000/- and i have done online payment of inr 72, 072/- though debit/credit card and inr 39928/- was balance. As yatra.com team told me that they first booked flight tickets and after balance payment yatra.com team will provide air tickets with me.

                        After corona virus effect on 23rd march 2020 i wrote mail to yatra.com team regarding booking status (Cancellation or postpone booking) but i didn't received any response from yatra.com team.

                        Then after on 24th march 2020 again i wrote mail to yatra.com team for cancellation of my booking.
                        I received mail from yatra.com that i will get updates on my booking prior 30days of departure.

                        After that i have received call from mr. Satyam gupta (Representative of yatra.com) he didn't gave me any option or solution infact i requested him to postpone my booking, but he said for that i need to pay more inr - 35000/-, if i will not pay that amount i will not get my booking amount back.
                        After this verbal communication he wrote mail on 3rd april 2020 asking for another booking date.
                        Verbally i have given new booking date, he said he will check availability for the same. After that i replied on mail for new booking date.

                        After that i have received call from mr. Satyam gupta he said airlines is giving credit shell till 30th june 2021 (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/travel/destinations/singapore-to-shut-down-... i agreed for that then he ask to pay land charges, later on he said it was the deference amount of flight booking which i didn't paid, i informed him that as per booking instructions i have already paid full flight ticket amount but mr. Satyam gupta denied and he said if i will not pay that amount i will not receive credit shell and yatra.com will not refund my money.

                        After that i received mail regarding payment of deference amount/land cancellation charges on or before 22nd april 2020. If i fail to pay that amount i will not get credit shell or my money back. So i ask to extend the date but he denied that also.

                        Also i am keep asking to show copy of my air tickets even i wrote so many mail regarding this but they didn't shared that with me, so i requested them if my booking is not yet done then kindly return my money back.

                        I think my flight tickets are still not booked, even indian government has announced to refund money of passengers with zero cancellation charges.

                          I have a booking from yatra for turkish airlines for 22-apr and as per airline we can convert our tickets to open tickets or reschedule one time for free due to covid issues.
                          I had asked for the same on 18-apr and to do change accordingly but was only updated with general information, when i replied to email as the phones and emergency lines not working, i got the reply on that you cannot do online.
                          Hence again asked for the same to confirm they replied they will check for the availability dates and so i need to provide them the schedule dates.
                          When the tickets is open how should the dates can be given
                          Further i have provided them the required dates for rescheduling but being last date before travel i do not have a quick response from them. Neither i got the call being this an immediate departure schedule. Looking for immedate resolution and full payment back in case of delay's.

                            I booked a honeymoon package with yatra.com for 10th may 2020

                            They cancelled my booking for may which i understand but against my booking they are providing me with the voucher of malaysian airlines that too after 20% deduction. Its a complete loss to me because malaysian airlines don't have flights within india and it seems difficult to travel outside india at least for few months.

                            I have requested yatra to give credit note of yatra and not malaysian airlines and there should not be any deduction but they are not agreeing

                              Dear Sir/Madam

                              I have booked a international holiday from Yatra.com on 19/2/20 with yatra reference no- YH 5866595.
                              I have paid the amount in full and got confirmation from yatra. Yatra has not booked any hotel or flights till now as it has asked me to arrange documents for visa. In the meantime CORONA Pandemic has started and i constantly emailed and called yatra customer center to cancel my booking and refund me entire amount as it was a honeymoon trip and due to corona pandemic it is not advisable to go outside for couple of months. moreover, I can't postponed my trip as per Yatra wishes.
                              Since not a single rupee has been invested till now i am asking for a full refund.
                              Every time i have got a pre formatted emails from yatra mentioning that i will be informed 30 days prior to departure and decision regarding travel in june has not been taken yet.
                              i have also tried calling yatra customer care but they end up saying that i need to email them my queries. so i am not able to talk to any representative till now.

                              i want to clarify here

                              This is not a domestic holiday, international holiday needs visa works which needs to be done 30 days prior to departure and this was supposed to be my honeymoon trip so, i cant go for it later.
                              I have repeatedly ask for the refund as i don't want any postponment of trip.So, yatra decision regarding trips in june doesn't apply to me as i don't want any trip now or in near future.

                              So, kindly refund the whole amount as any travel in coming months is not advised which is risk to life.

                              Hence, i don't need to wait for decision from yatra. I just want to cancel a holiday booking for which nothing has been done till now and want my whole money back.

                                I have booked a ticket from Mumbai to Lucknow on 16 April 2020 my booking has been cancelled due to Covid-19.
                                Sir I wanted to Know that from where I got my money back and when... When will that money get deposit in my bank account.

                                  Hi, i have booked train tickets with yatra.com and due to lock-down in the whole country the train has been cancelled... But i have not received any refund yet from yatra.
                                  Irctc website is showing that they have initiated my refund 20 days back. But yatra your process of refunding the train ticket is so pathetic.. I have to chase u guys since so long...
                                  Please refund my whole amount asap.

                                    Hi, this is in response to my previous complaint comment from the yatra team - for the ticket with booking no.[protected], confirmation # nw94nk - payment was done twice.
                                    1st time it was made through google pay in the name of roshan alex charey (My collegue), 2nd time it was made using my own hdfc netbanking. The proof of both the payment have been sent through mail. Also, both the payments were done on the same day but i got booking confirmation against only one of it.
                                    I made the second booking using yatra only because it had the cheapest option at that point of time. Please reach out to me in case of any question on [protected].

                                      Pl refer our pnr no hkuj3q. Indigo airlines has given us full creit shell rs8032/- but while rescheduling our journey we are getting only benefit of rs 2032/ rs 6000/- are being shown as air line rescheduling charges which is unfair and not justifiable. Due to outbreak of covid19 worldwide all airline companies are not charging reschedule charges. So pl provide us the benefit of the same while booking for tickets for rescheduling our journey.

                                      This is with reference to your complaint regarding the refund under the PNR HKUJ3Q.

                                      We have checked the details with airlines and they are providing the credit shell for your booking, which you can refuse for your future travel.

                                      Currently, the airline is not providing a refund. The only option which airline is providing is a credit shell.

                                      For further clarity, please find below the airline circular.

                                      Booked for Travel Between 25th March till 03rd May 2020?
                                      In support of the Government measure to eradicate COVID – 19, All Indigo domestic flights are suspended till 03rd May 2020. We truly regret the inconvenience caused due to cancellation of your flight.

                                      What will happen to my booking?
                                      No need to call Yatra or Indigo to cancel your booking. Indigo will automatically cancel all booking between 25th March till 03rd May 2020.

                                      What will happen to the money I have paid?
                                      Indigo will credit the entire amount as a credit shell under your current PNR (Passenger Name Record).

                                      How can I use my Credit Shell to rebook another ticket?
                                      You can either write to Yatra or Indigo Reservations. The credit shell can be utilized within one year from the issued date, for the same passenger(s). You can choose any travel date as per your convenience. The Fare difference will be applied, if applicable.

                                        On 19th March I was booking yatra.com flight. Even though the money got deducted it showed that the transaction is incomplete. The booking could not be done. I told the representative that the money is already deducted, so he informed that within 24 hrs it will be returned to bank. I have still not got my money back.
