I recently purchased a ticket from yatra with cancellation protection. I did not know then i could buy directly from airlines for as cheap as rs 49 where as yatra charged me rs 349 for each passenger. That is exorbitant - 600 times more than actual cost. There should be regulation as to how much an agency can charge. I feel so duped as i have spent nearly 1500 rs on cancellation charges for my round trip where as it should have not been more than 250 rs.

    Firstly of all thanks for arranging my trip to manali which has a mixed reaction and mixed memories which could have been sweet memories but due your representative mr lalit who spoil my tour
    I regret that yatra such a big brand name fail to deliver the basis things right and which has immensely mental stress and harassment leading to lot of confusion and keeping us in dilemma.
    So would like to state my tour experience with you as due to your representative mr lalit mobile no [protected] who was the king of the whole mishap and could have avoid less tension and mental stress if proper planning was done
    Nothing was followed as per the itinerary given to us and we at the hands of the driver as repeatedly i have told lalit that nothing was going as per our itinerary but he just told us to remain clam let me illustrate my above statement by giving you our daily days spend at manali
    First day when we arrived at manali around 11 am there was nobody to pick us when we had call the driver number provided by great lalit some other driver come to pick us up and there was a fight between the old driver and the new driver. My only point was be specific in your approach as there was already a traffic jam and these fight took more half an hour o[censored]s. Once we reached the hotel we were told that today there will be sight seen where as per the itinerary we were been given rest day. Immediately called up your great representative he told us to follow as what was going and so we have no option but we had to agree.in these he did not cover hidambai temple and manu temple saying that these will be cover on the last day.
    Second day was ok and nothing to complaint about that
    Third day was our rotnag where due to the driver mistake it took him to reach one hour late as he was searching our hotel as our hotel was in remote location and he could find it easily and like fools we were standing in the hotel entrance from 4 am. On return solan valley was not shown to us saying that we are late and we have to go vishit temple creating more confusion. My 3 k was pending and i had done the transaction on second day itself but the amount was not received to yatra so i had informed mr lalit that there was a problem and hence the amount has not got transferred so i will make an another transaction as soon as i come back from my rotnag day visit which i had done on the 4 day but still the driver was asking me the payment and i do not know a person name by prakash was abusing me saying that we do not take any body prior to cash itinerary rotnag
    Fourth day was given rest day we were told to stay in hotel i did not understand these concept that why we given rest day as theses was literally stupid as yatra wanted to make money and not service
    Fifth day was icing on the top we were told nothing was calling lalit initially no response but at 10 am he told us that once you check out the hotel at 12 pm you will be given driver to visit the two temple. Driver came at 2 pm and our took us to temple. Totally irresponsible driver who did understand the gravity of the situation as repeatedly told him that our bus was at 5.30 pm. My bus was booked at 5.30 and at around 5.15 we were still at the temple i had to call up the volva guy and told him to wait for us as were are caught in traffic jam which he agreed i am thankful to him or there would have been a chaos of the whole situation
    Summarised my quick view on the tour to manali tour which was literally shocking for me

    Lack of coordination
    Lack of communication
    Stress and mental harassment
    No guide line followed which lead to money waste of mine
    Every day a new tom dick and harry would talk to me asking for payment of rs 3 k apart from lalit
    Lastly feel cheated as yatra has taken us for a good ride and made money from us i promise i will never ever travel with yatra and some will be convey to all my social friends and my families
    Totally disappointment and thanks for spoiling my trip as these was a very special being my wife birthday

      YH4026321 is my booking id for flavors of Europe yatra package. I am traveling on 21st may. Received the voucher today. To my dismay, Airport transfers are not included as per the voucher. When I asked the reason over call, Mr. Shrey Adlakha, our contact person, told that it's a direct joining package for which he took a go ahead from us and then booked. We checked the email trail top to bottom but could not find any such term. This is highly disappointing as I will be traveling with an infant and this kind of service will not be enjoyable. Also I was told by shrey that the hotels have changed in the voucher compared to the visa letter, to which he responded that it was mentioned in the email that the hotel details shared would be just for visa purpose. Again, I couldn't find it any where written.If you are not giving the airport transfers, as claimed, I can assure you that it's going to be my last booking with Yatra. Screenshot attached of the email shared from your end with no mention of direct joining. Also, it was confirmed over call that airport transfers are included. Need hassle free. Hope you will disappoint me.

        Hi,
        I am extremely disappointed with Yatra and feel cheated at every step. Yatra has no concern for traveller’s comfort/ concerns and the overall perspective I got from Yatra is that it is only interested in duping people to buy their packages and then just do not bother of the rest.
        Point1: Utter misguidance
        I opted for a holiday package with Yatra since I did not have the luxury of time to do the adequate research to find the places of interest, distance Vs time, hotel ratings etc. I trusted that the Yatra agent (Milan Jain) would do the due diligence when I book the holiday. Unfortunately it turned out that my trust was breached. I was told by the Yatra agent that Delhi to Manali would be around 6-7 hours by road while in reality it was very much 15+ hours!! Yatra has shared with me an itinerary where I am promised to be shown 5 places on Day 1 when I have travelled 15+ hrs in a day!! Is this realistic?? My day 1 and day 2 were just lost in sitting in a dirty infected car
        Point2: Dirty car
        I had upgraded my travel vehicle to Innova to have a comfortable journey. One would be shocked to see the condition of Innova that was sent. Extremely dirty, non-functional AC, stained seats and what not!! The window panes were in such a state where one has to press multiple times to either close or open the window. I would better not mention music system and others when even the basic hygiene was below standards. (I can furnish the photos).
        While booking the holiday, some promises made to me, which off course were far from the truth-
        a) Driver will be your travel guide and will take you to the places of interest. You just stay relaxed and he will take care of travel timings/ lunch breaks etc.
        Real experience: Driver doesn’t know anything. You need to tell him what you would prefer to see and all the aspects. He is just a ‘driver’ and lazy one too.
        b) Driver will wait for you at the airport holding a placard with you name.
        Real experience: Driver is nowhere seen and unreachable on phone. It takes more than an hour to locate the driver who chooses to stay at some parking lot. It is highly unfortunate that you expect us to know where the car is parked and locate the driver.
        c) Driver details will be sent to you 24hrs before the travel
        Real experience: I did not get driver details and I tried to call emergency number, which nobody answers!!. I drop a couple of mails to [protected]@yatra.com but nobody answers. Why do you have emergency numbers if nobody responds to them? After multiple attempts I get the details.
        Point3: Useless emergency contacts
        None of the emergency numbers reach to the agents. The IVR service says to drop mail to [protected]@yatra.com. What is the use of emergency numbers if you cannot reach out for help? I am extremely disgusted at how one can provide such emergency contacts?

        After continuous ringing when by utter luch, you reach out to the agents in the emergency numbers, and raise your concern, they are aloof and all they can say is ‘It costs you Sir. You need to pay extra Madam…You will have to do it on your own..blah blah’. The very purpose of sense of emergency is lost with this kind of attitude you have.
        I seriously regret having booked my holidays with Yatra.

          Made the mistake of flight booking via yatra for new delhi to bangalore.

          Online support is pathetic... Always giving the system error.
          No customer care representative to attend your query for flights.
          Android app service is too pathetic.
          Chat support is just for name sake.. No rep avalable.

          I am trying to get the cancellation/reschedule charges since last 2 hrs but so far nothing is achieved.

          Better use mmt.

            Dear yatra team,

            I am karthik from chennai, booked goair flight ref no - y94f7t round trip to cochin via yatra on feb month and around april first week i was informed about flight cancellation, called yatra and requested for refund on april 2nd week. I was committed that refund will be done on to my bank account in 10 working days max, it has been almost 30 days (More than 20 working days). Till now refund was not made, i am badly in need of that amount. Do the needful asap.

              This is regarding my booking

              Yh4172926 is my reference code.
              I am writing this to you with utter dissappointment.
              Yatra has been the my worst experience till yet and i wonder if i will prefer it again in my life.
              I have been trying to connect with my tour representative since last 5 days. She has not been picking up my calls through customer care helpline, they say that they are transferring the call but nobody picks.
              She does not respond to my mails at all and she writes a mail to me saying that she coudn’t connect which is extreme lie.

              Mr. Akash who was very active on calls before i paid, but now he doesn’t pick any calls neither he replies on whatsapp.
              Ms shivani sharma (My tour representative) does not bother at all to even respond to thousands of mails and calls.
              I am not interested at all in getting served by yatra after this, i want my money back in my account.
              I am going to share this on all social media sites as well.

                I was to travel from chennai to aranthangi on 11 may 2018. I booked online through yatra and my ticket is confirmed, boarding in perungalathur at 10.30 pm

                I called the operator to confirm the boarding point and bus current status. But all phone numbers given below are un-answered or switched off.

                I am fed up a lot, since i was calling them for 2 hours from 9.30 pm on 11 may 2018.

                I was waiting in my boarding point and i didn't receive a call from the travel operator.

                I searched the internet for operator office number and i got one and called them for bus driver number and he gave one. I called him, but it was not the right number too.. I called the office again even they have switched off theirs too.

                Consider i am not travelling alone and if i am travelling with my family and baby or with my parents, think about my situation whether can i roam around looking for bus or finding them a new bus for travel at 11.50 pm on a busy rush hour day.

                How could the bus operator can be so irresponsible of its customers. Is this the way they treat them.

                I am hoping to know how would yatra react to this and how could possibly solve these kind of situations for its customers.

                Fed up a lot, i sent a grievance mail to yatra, will post a reply too when i get a reply from them

                  I have made full payment on 25-apr-2018 for chardham trip starting from 21 may 2018. I was trying to reach them either over phone or over email but not successful for many days. But not successful. New agent from yatra.com anupam desai contacted me about my trip and said he is working on my hotel and vehicle booking on behalf of yatra.com.

                  Unfortunately due to medical emergency i have to cancel my trip. Since it is customized trip, my booking is not shown in my login in yatra.com site. I am struggling hard to reach them since 1 week. Travel agent mentioned that he cannot take cancellation/modification request and said i need to contact yatra.com.

                  I don't know what to do now, desperate on raising complaint.

We hadn't got visa and yatra people just say that they will cut our booking money even they not suggested any solution or shifting of dates it's very emotional and financial harestment.                       This this to state that myself samrat chatterjee is a yatra holiday advisor from pune (Yh4142321). I had booked a mauritius package for my client ms roshini kapoor from 5th may to 11th may. Right now she is in mauritius and she is very very very upset regarding the services.

                      1) when ms kapoor did an initial payment then it was not informed that the hotel which she had selected is sold. Pfa the mail trail which clearly mentions "casuarina resort n spa" but after 5 days i was informed that the said hotel is sold out and yatra is giving an alternative hotel-"manisa hotel" for which i convinced her.
                      Now when my client reaches this hotel she gets the most saddest experience of all time.
                      No dental kit is given which is a basic thing.
                      Jet spray is broken
                      They have clearly stated that lunch cant be provided
                      Very ill maintained hotel.

                      2) in the mail it clearly states that there will be a 1 hr photoshoot on day 5 but when client recieved the vouchers there was no mention of photoshoot. When i enquired about the shoot i was said to me that shoot cant be arranged at such a short notice.. This is a clear case of non fulfilment of commitment by yatra and this is not accepted by client at any point. She is evenn contemplating to go to consumer court if the commitment done by yatra is not met.

                      As a yatra advisor i feel terible in front of client as my reputation is at stake.

                      My client ms roshini kapoor is a celebrated blogger and she has said that she will make sure that maximum people should know about the services offered by yatra through social media. (Attached - instagram page of my client)

                      Today is only the 2nd day in mauritius and she is ready to come back on the first flight available if yatra gives the refund after deducting the charges.

                      I expect a speedy solution to the goofup done from yatra's part.

                        My name is ankur saha. This is to bring to notice about yatra.com’s very unprofessional attitude and lack of appropriate response and action. My flight booked in yatra.com under pnr otfxkk, the first segment got delayed and subsequently i missed the next two flights in my itineary. The airlines failed to provide appropriate flights and thus cancelled my booking but gave me full details and documents stating that i did not embark on my flight due to reasons for which i cannot be blamed for and asked to me to issue a refund to my travel agent as according to law, with that document, they are obliged to pay me the refunds for the segments of flights which i could not embark due to this mishap. And their response, looking at most of their customer care numbers not reachable or inactive or keep ringing, other half with personell who are arrogant and have no manners and disconnect the phone because they want to go home (The kolkata office, a lady), no booking changes and cacellation processes which can be supported by the app and their complete and utter arrogance to deny any possible to intent to a refund. I hope this complaint helps to shed light to the recent situations.

                        If you are able to make international calls then my Number is the same +[protected]. If you can’t, which is quite evident, because I as of yet, have not received a single call from your part. The fact that your helpline numbers never work is simply astonishing. But the fact that your personell cant reply to all the emails i sent is really disturbing. I have been contacting you through email all these days but there is hardly any reply. Now i have sent my documents numerous times and still no action. I have an email in which the airline clearly asked you to process the refund doesn’t seem to bother you. I have forwarded that email too. So, when my documents which were provided my Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport Aeroflot officials ( Aeroflot Russian airline, based in moscow) which is stamped and signed and clearly states the delay of the flight along with a receipt showing the one flight which i boarded (which got delayed) and all the other flight in my itineary unused (because of the delay), my question to you is, why is there so much of delay in processing the refund. Even you guys are not acknowledging it. Please process my refund as soon as possible.

                          We have made a booking for thailand tour with family on 3/apr, well in advance to avoid last minute hassles.
                          Till now, we havent even received bookkng vouchers, despite multiple followup calls and mails. The agent handling our booking is never reachable on her extension and extremely rude if we manage to reach her. Her manager herself was never reachable. We were always told she is not at her desk. Fed up with delay, we ourselves got our visas done.
                          All we need now is our booking vouchers, pickup drop details, tour operator details etc. Consideribg our trip is day after tomorrow and it is nearly end of day today, i am not sure if we will receive anything at all. My call has been disconnected 3 times today in the middle of conversation.
                          Not everone can afford an international trip.. We have planned so much for this, from taking leaves at work, sacrificed so many things to create a wonderful memory for our kid. Yatra completely ruined all our plans and happiness. We are now extremely stressed and nervous of all the money we lost and no response from yatra yet; not to forget a ruined holiday.
                          Yatra, this is not fair business, this is fraud and emotionally draining and distraut. Extremely disappointed. I will make sure no one i know remotely will ever use yatra.

                            This is to bring to your notice about the most horrible travel reservation experience from a company like yours and what we continue to face till date, when travel date is so close in next 10-12 days on 20th may.

                            I am writing this on my father's behalf mr. Satish pagaria, who has brought this holiday package booking for not just himself, but 10 other families and brought in so much business to your company. And apparently he is the one who is answering all queries to the whole group on your behalf and still struggling for visa till the last minute, following up day and night with your ever changing team.

                            It has been a tremendous torture for all these senior citizens, 20 people coming from various locations, to follow up on visa and all other mismanaged communication from your side. Shouldnt your team be proactively following up with us instead of we following up? The trip has not even started and we are still in india and struggling. What will really happen when they reach europe??

                            They have dealt with 4 pocs so far from your side (Prafful mishra, shrey adalka, aashish, aradhana) and constant back and forth followups asking your team for documentations and dates. 3 times the visa location has been changed (Delhi, jaipur, ahmedabad) and we were communicated that both visas can't be done on the same dates so arrange the travel twice in a week's time, implying additional travel for these senior citizens and additional travel and hotel costs too!!

                            This information was wrong as they processed both visas for 2 families on the same day by paying some 2k extra, where in everyone ekse had to travel twice. Till date 2 families, including my father's, have no dates for uk visa even after constant follow-ups. Also, even after giving us dates for the first visa, your officials never reached on time to visa office, putting us in penalty zone for delay.

                            As of today, we have no dates committed yet for visa and we are being asked to pay some 20k per person, where in the delay was never from our side at all. I am surprised to see the professionalism your team is showing on this matter and still not responding with any dates even after we told them to get the visa done at our cost.

                            Shouldn't yatra be bearing this cost and also pay us for the mental torture that my father has undergone answering all queries of his group and following up insanely with your inefficient team?

                            Can you take up this matter at highest priority or else by eod, cancel all these 20 bookings, as we don't think it makes sense to send our parents to this kind of a mismanaged trip and put them at risk.

                            I am attaching the whatsapp chat conversation for your reference since past 2.5 months post booking. See it by yourself how things are managed. My last communication is with gipsa. [protected]@yatra.com, manager of aradhana, who commits to revert back with resolution by eod.

                              I booked an international flight from jakarta to chennai for 29 april and return flight on 1 may. I paid rs 69, 948 for the tickets (Rs 10, 000 voucher code and rs 59, 948 by internet banking). Booking reference number[protected]

                              I got a confirmation email from yatra with "confirmation email" as the subject line and the email stating in big letters that "congratulations! Your flight booking is confirmed." (Please see attachment 1).

                              After 7 hours on the same day, yatra customer service sent me an email followed by a call and stated that the return ticket is not confirmed because the fares increased (Which was not updated in their system) and asked me to pay additional rs 6, 000.

                              I told them that i would not pay additional rs 6, 000 as i already paid the amount which was shown at the time of booking which they accepted and also sent a confirmation email.

                              Yatra customer care was very adamant. At last, they offered to cancel only one way return journey ticket and refund the corresponding rs 37, 888. I agreed to this on email. Please see attachment 2. I had to book another return ticket and it was even more expensive and i had to pay rs 45, 000.

                              After that, they have been neither processing my refund nor responding to my emails as you can see in attachment 2.

                              I would like yatra to refund me rs 45, 000 i. E. The entire amount i had to pay for re-booking return ticket because, they forced me to cancel the ticket booked on yatra for which they had accepted the payment and also sent a confirmation email. There was delay on their part in informing me if there was a problem with the booking and because of that i had to pay higher amount for re-booking.

                                  I strictly advice to every one not to book any holiday from yatra. Worst service and unprofessional agents and staffs they dont care about your holiday, they only interested in booking amount and will cheat you with their false promises.
                                  I have my transfer days on 6th and till now no vouchers or passes being shared.
                                  Just changing agents after booking confirmation and have no responsibility after that.

                                    Client name : anurag aggarwal
                                    Incident : no show of return flight tickets amount not refunded by yatra.com
                                    As my mother got injured through stairs on the day of flight and apparantly we tried to inform my yatra.com for cancelling my tickets which was from delhi to singapore. But we are unable to connect yatra.com executive and next day they were saying that no show of tourist has been marked and there is no refund of flight tickets.

                                    Resolution : request for refund of flight tickets, as there was genuine cause for miss of flight because of injury of my mother she is hospitalized and i am enclosing the report with this complaint.

                                      Booked an international ticket to toronto from mumbai on 30th april. I was wrongly mailed that the ticket was of 28th april by a lady named vandana rikhari. The flight was of ethiopian airlines 641 ref no. Yt27971609. The flight was actually on 30th april. The same was later corrected by yatra after great follow up. Wasted 1000/- on the cab fare reaching the airport.

                                        Need to highlight the pathetic misguided service which has resulted in loss of a family holiday which was booked for 6 months in advance. 2 issues to be highlighted basis booking with yatra.com
                                        1. International package - (Ref # ya:8242775)
                                        2. Domestic flight - (Ref #[protected]

                                        In the month of dec2017, we had planned for our annual family holiday during the summer (May 3rd week). We shortlisted baltic holiday package and made the advance payment of inr 1.2lacs. The sales resource (Modassar. Islam) also recommended that since the package was from delhi (18th to 24th may), suggested us to book blr-del-blr flights (17th to 25th may). We booked this basis his recommendation.

                                        As the sales process proceeded, shrey adlakha from yatra got in touch for visa processing/ documentation. He is one of the most pathetic customer service resource who never followed and sent wrong documents guidelines for processing (He sent us french schengen visa details), i had to research and follow up multiple times and course correct to get the estonian visa details. By this time they had not even booked our flights which we got to know much later.
                                        2-3 weeks ago (After 5/12 months of planning), we get a mail mentioning that this trip is cancelled as they did not have sufficient bookings. It was the most worst customer experience ever. After hue and cry, i received the booking refund, however they copmpetely washed their hands off the domestic flight booking inspite of tem recommending the same.

                                        I had tpo cancel the indigo flight for which there is a cancellation fee of inr 17k from indigo and the remaining amount was sent to yatra who again are levying their cancellation charges.

                                        The issue is the cancellation is happening due to yatra and i as a family am suffering inr 21k loss plus the trauma of a missed holiday after all the planning.
                                        This has made it very miserable and completely no ownership or remorse from yatra officials. I have decided not to use any of their services in future. Its disgraceful they because of them i have lost money, time peace, family fun and all the above.

                                        Unable to add support docs as the sixe of individual pic is above 2mb. Yatra has got the records of all mail as well. Hd to call up multiple times to elicit a response

As per our finding it was a group booking and due to less strength trip was called off and full refund was processed from our end in the same mode of payment. As checked regarding your domestic flight booking our team was in contact with you and as a gesture of care Yatra service fee wavier has been given and amount of INR 3980.01 was processed from our end in the same mode of payment on 29th April 2018.

                                        We will share the proper feedback with the concern team and assure you we will take necessary measures to avoid such instances in future.

                                        You have not done me any gesture or favour. Because you kept these both transactions separate and wrong guidance given, i ahve lost INR 16k for no fault of mine. The group package was cancelled by Yatra. The guidance given to purchase the BLR-DEL-BLR flight was from Yatra and am bearing the brunt for the loss. Out of INR 21k, the fee reversal is INR 3.9K for cancellation. Whose fault is the cancellation because of- Mine or Yatra's? If you cant provide proper service then dont be in the business.

                                        The whole last 6 months of planning was a failure from Yatras end. The ads are all misleading about the set pax confiration ir being cancelled. More than that the misguided info to book the domestic flight as the holiday package was from a different city, i end up getting INR 4k for air ticket cancellation for which i have booked for INR 21K due to cancellation of the Holiday package from yatra and hence had to cancel the flights as well. The worst part is the team not owning up to it.

                                        My holiday plans have been completely destroyed because of YATRA.com.

                                        Attachment1- Also please note the mail from Modassar recommending us to block the BLR-DEL-BLR flight- on 16 dec 2017.
                                        Attachment 2- showing me following up as a customer to Yatra multiple times on checklist for visa and me proactively making payments
                                        Attachment 3 & 4- Unhappy with Shrey who was dealing with us. sent us wrong info on visa etc. multiple follow ups. Mail also to Gipsa and Yatra customer service asking why they misguided us.

                                        Because of you all i have lost INR 16k as flight cancellation. Pathetic customer service after multiple follow ups. Blocked an amount of INR 1.2 Lacs for 6 months which was refunded again after multiple follow ups... Truly the worst experience. I need an answer for the cancelled flights. I should not be at fault for loosing this amount.
