We had a booking under transaction id (Yh4330472) for 5 nights and 6 days involving three destinations munnar – alleppey – kovalam/poovar. With cab assistance all day long and site seeing.

We reached kochi airport on 7th aug the same day kochi was facing some vehicle strike and we were supposed to reach munnar the same day, suddenly the driver asks us to stay back in kochi for safety sake and on contacting yatra team they also suggested the same but on our own expenses and denied any help required. However, due to drivers assistance we decided to go ahead on our own risk and reach munnar. On 9th aug, due to heavy rains and road blocks we got stuck in munnar, the same day we were supposed to leave for alleppey where we already had our house boat booked with meals included, on contacting yatra team we conveyed that we are unable to move from munnar and we are stuck badly at least arrange us a hotel or compensate on meals because we were already under loss as we had paid for alleyppey trip (No compensation for loss of alleppey) but on the contrary the team reverted back that “rains/landslides and road blocks are natural calamities we don’t compensate such things and can’t help you guys in that matter and we are not responsible whatever happens you are on your own! Other than that please let us know how the trip is going”.

Team - we are certainly very much in knowledge that natural calamities are not something humans have control over but compensating the same for humanity’s sake is definitely are in our hands and if not for humanity’s sake then for your businesses sake to retain your customers and saving yourselves from losing further customers you should have backup plans for such situations…
We were really impressed by the thoughtfulness of the team that they could not even arrange us hotel or meals or any information that when can we move next, we were literally struggling/panicking that what would happen next without any guidance left totally stranded in an unknown place.

After all the plight we left the next day 10th aug with help of localite’s assistance early in the morning at our own risk and took a 13 hour journey from munnar to kovalam, which was really a beautiful destination to rejuvenate and relax…but we were in such a shock and so glued in the past experience that we could not even enjoy there as well. Also, for fyi purpose the yatra team dint call us again to even know if we were alive or left munnar safely.

These guys offering a refund for Alleppey where we could not reach due to bad weather...suddenly when it comes to refund the breakup cost against the Trip reduces...

Also what about the extra cost we had to bear due to your negligence or neglected guidance on the particular day when we could coud have avoided the situation by leaving early for Alleppey resulting into an extra stay in Munnar with own expenses.

We need a refund for Munnar as well.

The refund of INR 6000.00 has been initiated from our end Yatra.com takes 24 hrs to initiate the refund. If payment has been made by a private bank, it will reflect in the same account within 48 working hours and if payment has been made from public sector bank, it will take up to 7 working days for the credit to reflect in your account.

    Hi,

    I booked couple of tickets on yatra.com. The website said the payment did not go through and rebook tickets. When i booked the second time and checked my deduction in account, i was charged for both the booking (The one on which error was showing and the one which i rebooked).
    I have been chasing the customer support for 15 days now and i am getting emails everyday that my amount will be refunded in 2-3 days then 4-5 days and the counting goes on.
    I am not sure what's going on and i am not able get hold over any one either from airlines or from yatra.com.
    I want to mention my booking number[protected].
    I want my full refund as it was the website issue and i called the customer support on very day to resolve this issue.
    The customer agent mentioned about full refund and ensured us that it will be taken care in 2 working days.
    Now it is forever and i don't have any idea to whom i should speak because whenever we try to reach airline there lines are busy and they don't have any option to talk to anyone from support team and if we try to discuss this with yatra customer support executives they always tell us that airline is not getting back to them.
    This was my first experience with your booking site and to be honest was worst among all.

      Dear Sir

      I have noted that YATRA is cheating the clients.

      Yatra feels that customer is fool and expect to dance to their tunes.

      I am giving below the details

      I have booked for Srilanka package and the id is YH 4363425 and the travel is to starts on 23.08.2018.

      Unfortunately my passport was held up with British high commission as I applied for UK VISA.

      I informed that to Yatra on 22nd Aug and asked them to reschedule that date.

      I was informed that the date is reschedule o 01.09.2018 and I have to pay aditional Rs 15000/ .I immediatelyI informed YATRA on 24th AAUG that the freight is very high on 01.09.2018 and ask for dates either on 29 Aug
      or 2nd Sep.

      There is no confirmation from YATRA ans today on 27th Aug and I have been informed that it is
      rescheduled on 29th but the charges are Rs 20000/ instead of Rs 15000/

      I would like to point out that totally I have paid only 31000/ which included freight. now the freight on 29TH Aug is Rs 17000/ and this additional Rs 20000/ totally I have to spent Rs 37000/ .

      For the original package I was charged only Rs 31000/ and for reschedule I have to spent Rs 37000/ which is nothing but only cheating. YATRA thinks all are fools and can be cheated

      I expect YATRA should reconsider its charges, otherwise I have no other option expect to go for consumer
      forum and to for legal case . Expecting this, I have recorded all the conversation which I had with
      YATRA in my cellphone .

      I informed YATRA about this but no reply from them

      I will also want to ensure that this YATRA cheating should be known to other public by social media like Twitter, Facebook and other web site like mouthsuht .com etc.

        It's very unfortunate, i am keep getting false promises regarding my refund. It's already been26 days since refund process has been initiated by yatra.com. Everytime i called on given extension, my call never transferred to seniors also after repeatedly saying.

            Pnr is jyvg9s. I pad 7800/- for indigo flight from vizag to kochi via bang. But due to floods on 15.8.18 they canceeld the flight from bang to kochi. The refund amount offered to me is rs. 1995/-. They are praying for these disasters to occur so that they can milk a dead cow. Ppl are stranded co of kerala floods and they don't care how difficult situation they are on.

              Today, I have booked flight from Ahmedabad to Bangalore on Yatro online app travel dated 22.08.2018. Booking reference number is[protected]. While booking in the app, It has not asked my permission to have insurance and insurance amount of INR 538 has charged to me. I have thought that it was convenience fee. After booking immediately i called to yatra customer care and i asked them to cancel my insurance and refund me the amount but they have denied it. I have also mailed to [protected]@yatra.com. I request consumer complaint department to help me to get my amount of INR 538 as the same has done without my consent. My flight booking is of the date of 16th Sep 2018 and today approx 1 hour back only I have booked the flight.

                I booked an Etihad ticket (Ref[protected] from Yatra to avail 40kgs student baggage. My ticket shows only 30kgs. On contacting customer care, they say i should have been 'more aware' while booking. They agreed on call that it wasn't my fault. Why should I then have to pay extra for no fault of my own? They denied changing my allowance. Worst service.

                This was the flow when I booked my original ticket as well. And all the terms mentioned in the offer are fulfilled. Still I did not receive 40kgs allowance

                  My air india flight ai634 got cancelled on 4th july 2018 from bhopal to
                  Mumbai. I had already got the boarding pass issued. First yatra said that you have travelled on this ticket. Then when it was communicated that the flight got cancelled, they said they will check with the airlines and get back to us. After many reminders, finally they accepted that the flight has been cancelled. But they were not able to process our refund. We have been writing mails to yatra and following up for refund but nothing is happening. I am still waiting for refund from yatra. Do not buy tickets from yatra as their services are not at all up the mark.

                    Hi,
                    I have booked flight tickets of kerala but as there is a natural calamity in kerala, i have to cancel my flights of december'2018 [reference:[protected]].

                    I have paid ~rs.23792/- and the refund i am being offered by yatra is just rs.6000.
                    If i would have booked the flights directly from airlines, they would have refunded me the money with just rs.2000/- per person per sector charges i. E. Rs.20, 000 refund.

                    Only due to natural disaster i have to opt out of kerala family trip.

                    As a reputed organisation, yatra should refund my money with minimum cancellation charges. If not, i would have to take this matter to grievance cell.

                      I booked hotel room in hotel mount & mist, ooty through yatra hotel booking for 15th august to 18th august, 2018 vide your booking ref no.[protected]. Due to natural calamities, mysore to ooty road was disrupted from 10th aug/18 onwards as reported in electronic & print media in bengaluru. I tried to contact hotel mount & mist at their contact no.[protected]/0423-[protected] but found no reply from the ist one and 2nd one says does not exist from 12th, 13th& 14 aug, 2018.in view of this uncertain condition i being a senior citizen wanted to either cancel or reschedule my vacation and contacted your customer care on 13th & 14th aug. Frantically but in all occasions your customer care people (Mr adil, mr connel, srikant & others) reply that hotel is not agreeing either to refund or reschedule my itinerary & ask me to contact hotel personally. Once i contacted hotel mount & mist at mob. No[protected]Given by your customer care on 14thaug) hotel personnel refused to refund or reschedule asking me to contact yatra hotel booking as i hv booked the hotel through yatra only. I am astonished at such behaviour on either side and going to loose my booking money of rs.7141/= for no fault of mine as due to prevailing natural calamities in this region i wanted to revise my tour plan. Well this is for your information that i am a regular air ticket booking registered customer of yatra.com but feeling disgusted for such unprofessional behaviour of yatra.com. Under this circustances i request you to do the needful to address my above complaint of refund/rescheduling of visiting dates to maintain your integrity with customer like me.

                        This is in reference to my booking with yatra (Ya:[protected] for thailand following is discrepancy with money taken by yatra and services rendered

                        1. Visa fees

                        As per by booking visa fees was included, however due to delay at yatra end, it could not be processed and i had to take visa on arrival

                        Visa fees - 16,[protected] bhat) - 8, 400 (Refund received = rs 8, 400 balance due (Plz check with nidhi saxena and mr anshul in this regard, all email communication available with her. Booking person mr anshul sharma)

                        2. Siam niramit show
                        As per booking (Plz check with mr anshu sharma who was contact person during booking) dinner included in the payment done from my end. Please refer the email cimmunication below in this email
                        Actually no dinner serviced in entry ticket given to me (Matter reported to yatra representative nidhi saxena through my email dt 3rd jul, next day to actual visit to siam niramit)
                        I had to pay 400 x 4 = 1600 bhat ie 3300 rs

                        ​i have sending request to yatra representative nidhi saxena) for the balance refund of the services not rendered by yatra but money taken at time of booking

                        I request your help in getting my refund of rs 11, 707

                          I have lodged a complaint against yatra for not crediting the refund, in response to my complaint, somebody from yatra called me and asked for my card no. How can they ask for the card no. When i have booked the ticket through them using my card, they should refund the amount to my same card account. I don't know whom shall i approach to get the refund of my four airtickets

                            I had booked a hotel in Munnar for 11th Aug. Due to the current Kerala situation, I had to cancel my trip to Kochi. Out of Rs 7000, Yatra refunded 3000 only. Since this was a genuine case, they refused outright to refund my entire money. They told me I should have called prior to cancelling the tickets. But I did the same with my flight booking and they have informed that if the situation is same during my flight timing, they will look for refund. This is outright cheating as there was no means I could have made the trip. They should have proactively refunded my money.

                                  Hey... I have created my new yatra a/c today i. E. On 05/08/2018 for railway booking. So 12:11 my booking was done for 3 passengers for kancahjunga express from guwahati to njp on 13 august but for some reason i had to cancel but before that when i paid the amount through my debit card within secons the money was deducted from my account rs 2070 but their was no confirmation mail or message that my booking is successfully confirmed. I cancelled my booking and i got a, message

                                  It was written that" refund and request for yatra booking reference no [protected] has been processed in 9 sec. Your refund transaction id for a refund of rs2070 is...

                                  After that at5:00p. M i tried to track my refund status but it was showing nothing i put myreference no. And email and clicked submit but nothing is happening. So i want to know will i get my refund?... If yes then when and how will i find it or there will be no refund and it will be a fraud case?

                                        Yatra team is not concerned about clients issues. They just ask clients to do most of the things in the visa process and pay the amount on time.

                                        They provide clients with third-party vendors for visa appointments & assistance over there. Sometimes they don't even properly check the documents required for the visa process and you need to follow up so much to met them as well.

                                        If visa got rejected because of vendor mistake also they don't bother about that they just ask us to forget or drop your plan whatever the amount you have paid. If you're not willing to take the second appointment on your own.

                                        They won't even assist properly for the second time visa appointment unless you pay the full amount to them.

                                        They will provide some flight itinerary to visa process and different for us. We won't sure till the last moment what would be ours.

                                        Better to have an escalation matrix to share this feedback with them, unfortunately, they don't even have it. They will just give some nonsense vouchers for compensation.

                                        We would like to inform you that visa approval is not in our control. And, we have checked, visa was approved when our team re-apply it. As per visa team without covering letter VFS will not accept the case for any category ( business or tourist). So the visa rejection might have some other reason and the person from visa team who assisted you in VFS, he hasn't removed the covering letter. On very first day our team has clearly told to you that once your visa approved then they will submit your wife application but you have denied for the same and applied visa individually.                                         My booking ID is YH4263196. I have opted for a Europe holiday trip with my wife. For Schengen visa, we appeared separately due to my wife new passport take some time, I have been assisted properly at Bangalore Third party vendor. I got the visa in the first go itself.

                                        Next time for my wife visa, yatra have provided a different third-party vendor at Chennai there we have faced a lot of issues due to their negligence, even after cross verification also we got rejection due to missing covering letter itself. VFS representative asked for the same but we are guided like sponsor letter & covering letter also same, so one is enough, so we submitted the same. So, my wife got the rejection in this case. So she has collected her passport at Chennai VFS office, that time she asked the reason for rejection they have mentioned no covering letter itself. Even reason mentioned over the rejection letter also resembles the same "purpose of the tour is not reliable". Because it is correct she is not provided her cover letter only sponsor letter.

                                        Later onwards Yatra Visa processing team also keep on asking money not even bother about our visa rejection. The team mentioned as if you want to go then you have to pay then only we will share the documents else ignore the money you have paid.

                                        They have booked another appointment as well but they haven't shared any documents till the appointment date. We faced so many issues in preparation of covering letter and sponsor letter. And Yatra Salesperson provides some assistance here. As no legitimate person from Yatra visa team ever takes any responsibility as well.

                                        Yatra Visa processing team have mentioned like: We will share the required documents and you need to go through everything for the second-time visa process. For this, I have taken a couple of days office leave and prepare the proper documents and asked some other people for verification then re-appeared for the visa process. The second time she got the visa.

                                        But what my concern is it shouldn't happen to anyone else next time. Your team is not even feeling guilty at all. There just giving some voucher's to just close this issue. That is where I'm worried. Till date, I have paid almost all the amount except this second-time visa fee and they have mentioned like euro price increased but they are failed to provide where they are referring the ROI of euro. Because there is no match between the Yatra mentioned euro ROI with any of the websites.

                                        We are a newbie for this process. If we know everything then why will we opt Yatra?

                                        I hope you will resolve my issue.
