This is to bring to your notice about the most horrible travel reservation experience from a company like yours and what we continue to face till date, when travel date is so close in next 10-12 days on 20th may.

I am writing this on my father's behalf mr. Satish pagaria, who has brought this holiday package booking for not just himself, but 10 other families and brought in so much business to your company. And apparently he is the one who is answering all queries to the whole group on your behalf and still struggling for visa till the last minute, following up day and night with your ever changing team.

It has been a tremendous torture for all these senior citizens, 20 people coming from various locations, to follow up on visa and all other mismanaged communication from your side. Shouldnt your team be proactively following up with us instead of we following up? The trip has not even started and we are still in india and struggling. What will really happen when they reach europe??

They have dealt with 4 pocs so far from your side (Prafful mishra, shrey adalka, aashish, aradhana) and constant back and forth followups asking your team for documentations and dates. 3 times the visa location has been changed (Delhi, jaipur, ahmedabad) and we were communicated that both visas can't be done on the same dates so arrange the travel twice in a week's time, implying additional travel for these senior citizens and additional travel and hotel costs too!!

This information was wrong as they processed both visas for 2 families on the same day by paying some 2k extra, where in everyone ekse had to travel twice. Till date 2 families, including my father's, have no dates for uk visa even after constant follow-ups. Also, even after giving us dates for the first visa, your officials never reached on time to visa office, putting us in penalty zone for delay.

As of today, we have no dates committed yet for visa and we are being asked to pay some 20k per person, where in the delay was never from our side at all. I am surprised to see the professionalism your team is showing on this matter and still not responding with any dates even after we told them to get the visa done at our cost.

Shouldn't yatra be bearing this cost and also pay us for the mental torture that my father has undergone answering all queries of his group and following up insanely with your inefficient team?

Can you take up this matter at highest priority or else by eod, cancel all these 20 bookings, as we don't think it makes sense to send our parents to this kind of a mismanaged trip and put them at risk.

I am attaching the whatsapp chat conversation for your reference since past 2.5 months post booking. See it by yourself how things are managed. My last communication is with gipsa. [protected]@yatra.com, manager of aradhana, who commits to revert back with resolution by eod.

    I booked an international flight from jakarta to chennai for 29 april and return flight on 1 may. I paid rs 69, 948 for the tickets (Rs 10, 000 voucher code and rs 59, 948 by internet banking). Booking reference number[protected]

    I got a confirmation email from yatra with "confirmation email" as the subject line and the email stating in big letters that "congratulations! Your flight booking is confirmed." (Please see attachment 1).

    After 7 hours on the same day, yatra customer service sent me an email followed by a call and stated that the return ticket is not confirmed because the fares increased (Which was not updated in their system) and asked me to pay additional rs 6, 000.

    I told them that i would not pay additional rs 6, 000 as i already paid the amount which was shown at the time of booking which they accepted and also sent a confirmation email.

    Yatra customer care was very adamant. At last, they offered to cancel only one way return journey ticket and refund the corresponding rs 37, 888. I agreed to this on email. Please see attachment 2. I had to book another return ticket and it was even more expensive and i had to pay rs 45, 000.

    After that, they have been neither processing my refund nor responding to my emails as you can see in attachment 2.

    I would like yatra to refund me rs 45, 000 i. E. The entire amount i had to pay for re-booking return ticket because, they forced me to cancel the ticket booked on yatra for which they had accepted the payment and also sent a confirmation email. There was delay on their part in informing me if there was a problem with the booking and because of that i had to pay higher amount for re-booking.

      I have booked on line through my sbi credit card for rs. 6865.00 but due to some personal reason i have cancelled my flight in mar 18. But till now i didn't get refund of above flight pls help and refund the amount as early as possible. Thanks

        I strictly advice to every one not to book any holiday from yatra. Worst service and unprofessional agents and staffs they dont care about your holiday, they only interested in booking amount and will cheat you with their false promises.
        I have my transfer days on 6th and till now no vouchers or passes being shared.
        Just changing agents after booking confirmation and have no responsibility after that.

        None of their customer care or complain no. Is valid.

          Incident : no show of return flight tickets amount not refunded by yatra.com
          As my mother got injured through stairs on the day of flight and apparantly we tried to inform my yatra.com for cancelling my tickets which was from delhi to singapore. But we are unable to connect yatra.com executive and next day they were saying that no show of tourist has been marked and there is no refund of flight tickets.

          Resolution : request for refund of flight tickets, as there was genuine cause for miss of flight because of injury of my mother she is hospitalized and i am enclosing the report with this complaint.

            Booked an international ticket to toronto from mumbai on 30th april. I was wrongly mailed that the ticket was of 28th april by a lady named vandana rikhari. The flight was of ethiopian airlines 641 ref no. Yt27971609. The flight was actually on 30th april. The same was later corrected by yatra after great follow up. Wasted 1000/- on the cab fare reaching the airport.

              Need to highlight the pathetic misguided service which has resulted in loss of a family holiday which was booked for 6 months in advance. 2 issues to be highlighted basis booking with yatra.com
              1. International package - (Ref # ya:8242775)
              2. Domestic flight - (Ref #[protected]

              In the month of dec2017, we had planned for our annual family holiday during the summer (May 3rd week). We shortlisted baltic holiday package and made the advance payment of inr 1.2lacs. The sales resource (Modassar. Islam) also recommended that since the package was from delhi (18th to 24th may), suggested us to book blr-del-blr flights (17th to 25th may). We booked this basis his recommendation.

              As the sales process proceeded, shrey adlakha from yatra got in touch for visa processing/ documentation. He is one of the most pathetic customer service resource who never followed and sent wrong documents guidelines for processing (He sent us french schengen visa details), i had to research and follow up multiple times and course correct to get the estonian visa details. By this time they had not even booked our flights which we got to know much later.
              2-3 weeks ago (After 5/12 months of planning), we get a mail mentioning that this trip is cancelled as they did not have sufficient bookings. It was the most worst customer experience ever. After hue and cry, i received the booking refund, however they copmpetely washed their hands off the domestic flight booking inspite of tem recommending the same.

              I had tpo cancel the indigo flight for which there is a cancellation fee of inr 17k from indigo and the remaining amount was sent to yatra who again are levying their cancellation charges.

              The issue is the cancellation is happening due to yatra and i as a family am suffering inr 21k loss plus the trauma of a missed holiday after all the planning.
              This has made it very miserable and completely no ownership or remorse from yatra officials. I have decided not to use any of their services in future. Its disgraceful they because of them i have lost money, time peace, family fun and all the above.

              Unable to add support docs as the sixe of individual pic is above 2mb. Yatra has got the records of all mail as well. Hd to call up multiple times to elicit a response

              You have not done me any gesture or favour. Because you kept these both transactions separate and wrong guidance given, i ahve lost INR 16k for no fault of mine. The group package was cancelled by Yatra. The guidance given to purchase the BLR-DEL-BLR flight was from Yatra and am bearing the brunt for the loss. Out of INR 21k, the fee reversal is INR 3.9K for cancellation. Whose fault is the cancellation because of- Mine or Yatra's? If you cant provide proper service then dont be in the business.

              The whole last 6 months of planning was a failure from Yatras end. The ads are all misleading about the set pax confiration ir being cancelled. More than that the misguided info to book the domestic flight as the holiday package was from a different city, i end up getting INR 4k for air ticket cancellation for which i have booked for INR 21K due to cancellation of the Holiday package from yatra and hence had to cancel the flights as well. The worst part is the team not owning up to it.

              My holiday plans have been completely destroyed because of YATRA.com.

              Attachment1- Also please note the mail from Modassar recommending us to block the BLR-DEL-BLR flight- on 16 dec 2017.
              Attachment 2- showing me following up as a customer to Yatra multiple times on checklist for visa and me proactively making payments
              Attachment 3 & 4- Unhappy with Shrey who was dealing with us. sent us wrong info on visa etc. multiple follow ups. Mail also to Gipsa and Yatra customer service asking why they misguided us.

              Because of you all i have lost INR 16k as flight cancellation. Pathetic customer service after multiple follow ups. Blocked an amount of INR 1.2 Lacs for 6 months which was refunded again after multiple follow ups... Truly the worst experience. I need an answer for the cancelled flights. I should not be at fault for loosing this amount.

                I would seriously request you to take this matter into consideration and come out with an affirmative solution because the way this person (Mr. Manoj gupta) harassed me; cannot be tolerated and it’s not beneficial for the company in longer run.

                  Respected sir, i want to raise a complaint against yatra for not providing me back my refund for a sum of rs 5959.00 which was deducted from my debit card. The booking reference number is[protected] for my travel from ndls to ghy railway station. The booking was done on 17th of april, 2018. Its been 10 days till today however, credits are unseen on my account. I even contacted my bank in this regard however no resolution has been yet provided. Hope you will resolve my issue. Thank you.

                      1 My package includes all the transfer from the airport and same was told to me by your agent. In between you have changed a lot of agents. Now the service voucher for the transfer from amsterdam airport to the hotel is not provided and I have asked same from your agent quite a lot of time she is not replying.

                      2. I was told that my package include transfer from paris to lucerne. Due to some reason you company was not able to provide the solution. And I have to roam around the city for the same to find the tickets which wasted alot of my time. Now i have paid for the tickets over n above my package and i am not being told about how i should get my refund. I have paid 195 euro extra above the cost and travelling expense to get these tickets.

                      This is such apathetic and worst kind of experience i had with your company.

                      Now your agent is asking to get in touch with some one from customer delight team after my repeated enquires. On my tour i only have to follow up with everyone to get these thing done then why should i hire you if i still have to go through the same pain.

                      Further, do you expect for a 12 day tour you can book a flight with a person with 1 luggage per person. I have to pay 10000 extra for the luggage service at time of leaving delhi. Now i dont know how much i will pay for the same. And after this your agent says you have given go ahead as if we have to go in netigites to get this thing checked. I m signing on my will as if before which i should have shown to legal guy to help me provide a solution. You as a company cant provide a one stop solution then god knows how u are operating.

                      Anshul can you provide me service vouchers for return from amsterdam airport to hotel.

                      And corporate team can you help me out with flight luggage and my refund which i have might have to pay again on my return.

                        We have booked for Europe 15 days tour from Yatra.com, package id - 6939420 for a group of 18 senior citizens scheduled kn 20th May 18.
                        The package has been booked and advance amount of 6 lacs deposited since a month. However there has been absolutely no response and reverts on our numerous calls and emails and whatsapp messages on UK Visa and Schengene Visa and also regarding details of flights, hotels itinerary etc.

                        The service agents Shrey, Prafful, Suman and others have been after us before package booking and advance amount. Now, as the advance amount provided, they have failed to provide any update on other things.. Absolutely no response from them, even for Visa they failed to provide dates.. For three of the couples they provided appointment at Ahmedabad France Embassy, my parents went there after 7 hours drive early morning, but after reaching there, no one from yatra was there to assist them and provide them with documents. Parents have to be outside Visa Embassy for full day without any docs been provided... Still most of the members in group are not been provided Visa dates and no one recieves Call there.. Even customer care once pick call they will put on hold for hours.. Noone is there to attend.. I feel like CHEATED and this company looks to be full FRAUD.. With agents having no courtesy even to speak to us, no escalation matrix, no customer care.. We feel its a SCAM if proper revert and all in schedule doesnot work and noone attends us in proper manner, i have to goto consumer court to get 6 lacs plus all the pain and trauma.. I will make sure they will give us atleast 3 times the amount i deposited.. As the people involved are senior citizens that too 18 members and pain, trauma and stress they have been into since then is beyond my tolerance and if nothing is done and trip doesnt go smoothly i will make sure yatra people will pay hefty price for it.

                          1. Vouchers provided to me by yatra team clearly mentioned that both the bf and dinner were part of my package during hotel stay at havelock.
                          2. However, the hotel did not have any information about it and they refused to accept or even see yatra vouchers. Their comment was "we do not know who yatra is...".
                          3. Yatra representative in havelock "mr jitender" just plainly refused to do anything and said that there is no point of "arguing" with him since he does not work for yatra. Not sure why yatra gave me his number if he was not going to be of any help to me? Extremely rude speaking person.
                          4. When i called the support number and spoke with vivek, he updated that dinner is not part of my stay at hotel in havelock, now, i fail to understand (A) how come yatra gave me vouchers saying its part of my stay? (B) and if anything changed after issuing the vouchers, was not it anyone's responsibility to tell me about it?
                          5. We only came to know about it when we, all family, went into the restaurant and settled on the table to start the dinner. After that most embarrassingly, we have to leave the tables in front of all the guests and settle the issue. Is it how i was supposed to feel when booking holidays with yatra? How can you compensate for this humiliation?

                          Now, I find this feedback very strange for 2 reasons:

                          1. on the very day of this issue. I spoke with Yatra representative both at your service center and the person you assigned to me at Havelock, Both of them told that due to some mistake, Dinner is not a part of your package. Hence you can have Dinner and pay for it, which I did. I was there for 2-nights, for 1-night (same night when I escalated the issue) had a Dinner at Hotel and for 2nd night, outside the Hotel.

                          2. I have payment slip with me from the Hotel.

                          I fail to understand when your team verified and confirmed on the same day, why are you guys now putting on me to prove that I am right, when clearly Hotel is not providing the correct information to you or you guys are not asking for correct info from them.

                          THis is the exact problem, during our phone conversation, I asked you to mention below 2 things and you agree to do that, nut again just receiving one line mail.

                          1. Hotel has communicated to you that the Dinner was served to the guest as part of package.
                          2. Hotel has not issued any invoice to customer.

                          Request you to deny if it was not discussed?

                          Attaching the receipt with this.

                          Now, I want to know:

                          1. What action are you taking against hotel to lying with you?
                          2. What action have you taken yourself to find out the Hotel lie?
                          3. Why should I be suffering because of your non-action for such a long time?

                            Hi all,

                            Booking id: yh4075780

                            My visa is still in process and i've to travel on next monday i. E. 30th apr'18.
                            This package deal was closed on 22nd march'18 and i was told that the visa formalities will take 10-12 working days.

                            After mail several exchanges, aparajita shared the noc format for visa only on 30th mar'18 (Only after a week). There i was informed that my visa appointment will be taken in the 1st week of april. My documents were ready accordingly and regularly followed up with the yatra team for visa initiation but got a revert that the flights tickets and hotel vouchers are not with them yet, how is it possible that the team is not prepared with visa submission documents (Basic itinerary vouchers) of the customer and my visa submission got late due to yatra's negligence as they took hell lot of time for the same.

                            I submitted my documents for visa on 10th apr'18 and there was a flaw as well, aparajita mentioned wrong dob in my husband's insurance document. After a escalation to her manager - gipsa jain - which was of no use as she doesn't give heed to all these matters (Never got any mail from her despite she being in every mail), nothing changed. I asked aparajita to share her escalation matrix but she just looped her manager in the mail... Which is certainly of no use.

                            Post that i was told that my visa will take 10-12 working days which are getting over on 24th apr'18, i've not received any updates, mailing yatra people everyday and calling them to check on the status. I just have time till 27th apr'18 will leave for mumbai - from where i have my flight to greece.

                            If my visa & passport doesn't show up till friday, yatra.com is going to reschedule my entire trip as per my convenience and going to bear it's cost because the delay happened due to yatra's negligence and nothing else. They took their own sweet time and delayed my visa application process due to which there'll be an impact on my travel.

                            I'm already going to escalate this as i'm not finding any changes in the way yatra is dealing with my case post multiple reminders. Of course, there's no use of having managers in loop because they don't take the pain to go through any mails where they're marked.

                            Terrible customer care team you guys have!!! As a customer they've to chase you for everything and there's no response even post that...
                            Pathetic response and experience so far!!!

                              I have booked a thailand international package on 6th feb with the ref no: yh3967382 through yatra's executive gazela praveen and have paid the booking amount of rs 14000/-. However, after paying the booking amount there was not contact on any of the mode of communication (Phone, email etc). Finally i reached out to the customer care generic number and was transferred to the gurgaon yatra just to learn that gazela has left the job the next day i paid the booking amount and that my account has not been transferred to anyone.

                              I was totally shaken with the way they handled my case and have told that i would like to get my cash back and not willing to take up the holiday anymore. After several tries one day i got a call from naveen who understood my case is genuine and the fault is on the yatra's ex employee gazella, and promised me that he would help me get the refunds of 14000/-.

                              However, its been 1 and half months i never got any calls nor they are responding my emails and i am still waiting for my refunds.

                              Still waiting for my hard earned money.

                                I purchased some coupons (Discount coupons of mojo pizza) worth rs. 700 with yatra e cash, ref. No.[protected]. While i tried to redeem it, mojo pizza did not accept it. They told - mojo pizza cant recognize such coupon codes. I raised a complaint with yatra.com and instead of resolving the issue, they harassed me and made my call waiting for long time. I become ashamed and could not able to keep my commitment towards my family. I am feeling cheated. The coupon validity is upto 31st may and i have been chasing yatra.com since 2nd april. I want my money back with compensation and punishment to the cheat company

                                  This is regarding my recent booking for Himachal Pradesh family tour for 13-May-2018 to 19-May-2018

                                  Date of booking: 27-March-2018

                                  Before making the payment I use to get hourly follow-up calls from the travel agent asking me to immediately process the payment transaction.

                                  I was given assurance that the itinerary won't be changed once I make the initial payment (25%), as they can hold the hotel rooms for me. So I've paid the 25% amount, I've the original payment receipt where the hotels (3-star) are listed.

                                  After making the payment, around a week later, I got a call from Yatra's travel agent(on April 6) saying that the hotels booked for Manali and Shimla are not available and I was given some alternative cheap low-grade hotels, and they are aking me to choose from these alternatives.

                                  As I was not happy with the alternatives I asked them to either book the ones which are offered to me in the original itinerary or refund my payment.

                                  Now the Travel agent assigned to me for follow-ups is not picking up the call, Every time I had to go via customer care to reach to him. The issue is pending for around 2 weeks, email resopnces are also poor and delayed a lot.

                                  After receiving the payment they have started ignoring me, most of my valuable time is spent calling their support team/travel agent

                                  I'm very frustrated with this kind of service, I want the refund of my payment as early as possible.

                                    On 11.04.2018 at 10.30am around i have booked a ticket. The details are as given below & attached with this email,

                                    However, mistakenly, i have booked ticket for 23rd may’2018 instead of 23rd april’2018. Immediately, i have informed yatra.com customer care executive (Cce) & also, jetairways cce, for rescheduling of the tickets but have not received any positive responses. The reschedule charge is higher than the based fare of the ticket.in the same way for cancellation of the tickets, the charges are higher than the based rate of the tickets. Whereas it was informed in the tickets that (Point no 07/ page 1) that “if ticket is canceled directly from the airlines web site, office or call center, customer needs to inform yatra.com for the refund to be processed. Yatra will levy rs. 400 per passenger per segment”
                                    However, on 3rd /4th called to the yatra.com cce, they have assured that if jetairways do cancellation in free or charge minimum amount than yatra will refund full/ rest amount (Even without taking convenience fees) to me.
                                    In the same way i have again called to the jetairways & requested for cancellation, but didn’t received any good response. And cce of jetairways has informed that they don’t have such norms where they can minimize any charges in cancellation

                                      Hi team,

                                      I will be going fo the thailand bankok trip with yatra, agrred package was
                                      Economy class airfare (Both side) with airport taxes.
                                      4 night 5 days package
                                      2 night accommodation in pattaya city.
                                      2 night accommodation in bangkok city.
                                      Daily buffet breakfast
                                      Transfers from bangkok international airport to pattaya hotel
                                      Coral island tour in pattaya city with indian lunch
                                      Alcazar show
                                      Transfer from pattaya hotel to bangkok hotel
                                      Half day city tour in bangkok city
                                      Full day safari world and marine park with lunch
                                      Transfer from bangkok hotel to bangkok international airport

                                      But in the itenary they missed alcazar show and full day safari world and marine park with lunch

                                      I havs asked them, and i got a response that only alcazar show will be added

                                      The cusotmer care executive is almost unreachable all the time, and my itnary is till not finalised

                                      All the payment has been made... Not a single penny remainining

                                      Do you guys fool cusotmers with your lucritive online details

                                      Money got deducted and i have not received any kind of reference number or any booking details. I just checked in the bank saying amount of 10, 026 has been deducted for booking from yartra online( VIN/Yatra Onlin/[protected]/0)
                                      i want my refund amount as soon as possible.

                                        Dear all,
                                        A very badly managed tour to sikkim by yatra. The service of sales executive mr. Sandeep singh and ms. Swati jha is very very bad.
                                        This is with reference to my booking with yatra for sikkim. The booking reference number is yh3923760.
                                        I have booked the package from yatra (Total 15 people) totally relying on their brand value without inquiring about the package details. However the experience was so bad as they have just made the tour a mess.
                                        The sales executive mr. Sandeep singh ([protected]) was talking to me and given me the package details. He was continuously talking to me and just forcing me to deposit the booking amount and told that if there is any query or changes, the same can be done later on. Even at night 8.45 pm he was forcing me to make payment immediately as he has to leave the office by 9.00 pm. I told him that i am travelling but still he forced me to stop the car and make payment which i refused.
                                        Next day when i made the payment of booking amount, he has not talked to me even once. I have made him several calls as well as email, however he has not responded to any of the call of email. I have called ms. Swati jha, who is his senior, however she also not responded. After this i have to call the general customer care number and discuss the details with other executives.
                                        The itineraries as promised over phone and also written in the email has not been provided.
                                        The rooms as mentioned in the itineraries in hotel summit norling, gangtok are not provided. Rather the manager of the hotel has asked us to make payment for extra bedding which we have already paid to yatra and the same was mentioned in the itineraries.
                                        The hotel provided in darjeeling i. E. Hotel summit hermon, is a very bad property which is provided to us even when we have specifically asked for 4 star hotels. The manager of the hotel himself confirmed that we are a 3 star category hotel. The rooms were smelling and the space was very minimal.
                                        The local traveler has not taken us to the places as mentioned in itineraries rather the drivers were forcing us to see other places not mentioned in the itinerary by paying extra amount.
                                        Therefore the total experience was so bad i would recommend not to book any package from yatra.
                                        The service of sales executive mr. Sandeep singh and ms. Swati jha is very very mean and bad.
                                        I would love to talk to any of the yatra people who can at least listen to my grievances.
