Issue: Loan Disbursal even after saying no to that.
I, Tanu Sharma am a regular user of Zest Money. A Few days back I saw instead of a gift card it's showing a personal loan application I can apply for, as I logged in to my Zest Money Account through the ios App. So the procedure was to check eligibility as follows:
Enter your salary info and pan card number and then it will show the estimated eligible amount.
After 4 days i.e. on 5th Nov 2022, I got an email for a 3-month statement from ZestMoney through [protected]@zestmoney.in, just to check the eligibility I emailed my 3-month statement.
Then I got a call from[protected], around 11:56 AM on November 9, 2022, stating he was calling from the ZestMoney. He mentioned going ahead with the loan application, I was asked to share the canceled cheque or passbook's front page. On the same call, I declined to go ahead with the Loan with a clear NO. He agreed and mentioned If the loan is not required at the moment he can connect with me back on the same number, and he hung up the call. Call Duration: 1 minute.
But, The same day Exactly at 7:40 PM on 9 Nov 2022, I got a message from the bank that 1, 42, 000 rupees has been credited to my account.
I was shocked when I saw that amount and message the very next day on 10 Nov 2022, at the same moment I called on the same number above mentioned at 7:00 PM, but I couldn't connect. I dropped an email to [protected]@zestmoney.in from tanu.[protected]@gmail.com stating the case (Screenshot attached - email 1.png)
I got multiple emails till 12 Nov 2022 that issue has been forwarded to the concerned team but no one connected.
Finally, I decided to call on support i.e.[protected] on 11 Nov 2022 at 3:25 PM, Call duration: was 5 minutes and stated my complete concern she mentioned that she will transfer the call to the senior but never happened.
Today i.e. 15 Nov 2022 I called multiple times finally when I was fade up with no solution I decided to close this loan by paying back the complete 1, 42000. even though I was ready to pay an INR 5, 680 processing fee, for which I was not liable even because no one took my consent before it, just because I got frustrated with no solution.
But while I was transferring the amount It was showing an error I couldn't transfer more than 1 lac rupees in a single transaction.
I did a payment of INR 85, 420 on 15 Nov 2022 at 3:38 PM through the ZestMoney app via UPI. Now remaining amount got increased because the system calculated the interest on it. Already I was born 5680 INR, the so-called processing fee ( which I don't want to pay at all, I want to be waved off first). Now I have to bear more interest in it, after splitting the amount for 6-6 months, amazing!!!
I called back to support once again, and he mentioned you couldn't do the payment in one go because you have a saving account that has a limit of 1 lac rupees transfer in one transaction. now, whatever the 6-month amount is pending you have to bear the interest also on it.
Wowwww!!! what a classy service.
See, Take your money back, I am ready to transfer the remaining amount ( i.e. half of the principal amount, excluding processing, interest, etc.) Close the account Right now. I can't pay the processing fee, interest, or whatever single rupee over to it, because before the final disbursal, even after saying no to my loan application, I am not liable to pay a single penny extra.
Take this on utmost priority. Thanks.

The remaining amount at my end is 56, 580 INR ( which I can pay as I get assurance of closing the account ASAP ).
ZestMoney customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
