I ordered food using Zomato App. I ordered Butter Naan, Butter Roti and other items. They delivered me plain Roti and Plain Naan. When I escalated the matter their customer care executive said, “They won’t refund my money” it’s not their concern what the hotel has sent.Then who is responsible???? Then I twitted the problem…Zomato said they will call back… it has been two days…And I didn’t receive a single call.

    Zomato is looting money in the form of id verfication. They activate the app of zomato riders at first step and later payment proccess, starts rejecting all documents which were accepted before the payment, . There is no proper resolving from zomato. The people after trying a lot with the company having no contact number.
    People any way loose their money.

        I received bad smell food from Zomato, that time I am trying to compliant against that in Zomato customer support, but they are not respond. It is very bad. The Zomato not provide any customer support, they provide atomatic chat with customer. It very sufferable situation to innocent customer. I request you to please take action against this.             Two recent experiences in Lonavala from 2 different restaurants:

            1. Pizza from Grill Zone Lonavala: Never delivered warm, leave aside hot, as the restaurant cannot afford a hot bag and how is Zomato allowing them to deliver with their non-resourceful vallets. Imagine pizza coming in the boot of a scooter, what hygiene, what warmth, what delivery experience.

            2. Momos from Momos Express Lonavala: When my ordered Momos were packed as if it was coming free of cost for refugees. Mayonese was all over the momos in both the packs.

            And the customer support was asking me to write on the restaurants page instead taking action himself and over that he offers me a refund of Rs 75, how courteous :-(.

            Sad and bad experience:-(

            Zomato can do better !

                I ordered a food worth Rs.172 at Zomato on 5th September 2021...the food was complete tasteless with only oil present in it...I repeatedly complained Zomato about that garbage and asked for return... Zomato refused it again n again, it was a total waste of money.
                For the same I request to help me to get the amount refunded back and take strict actions against Zomato..

                  This company has started to cheat by providing 0 support, blocking money after customer gets the order.
                  They stop responding to emails/Online zomato chats . I will be doing legal proceeding against these people.

                      I got stale food and when i asked the executive to refund the amount they simply ran away without resolving the queries ...Govind and Harsh are the two executives...Zomato is looting customers

                          I had ordered Potato Chivda from Brijwasi Sweets located at Haiko mall Powai through Zomato app. The product was listed for Rs 200 on the app and I was charged Rs. 200 for it. However, when I got the product the MRP on the packaging was Rs. 175

                              L ordered food on zomato, that
                              is chilli chicken and two roti
                              costing RS 179.00. The food
                              was completely spoiled, veggies
                              were overcooked, chicken was
                              smelly and it was horrible in
                              taste. The roti was half cooked
                              though not a problem but main
                              Course item was horrible. I raised
                              complaint but two Zomatao
                              executives ended my chat with
                              disappointing responses from
                              their side. Put me in queue for
                              more than 45 mins. This is the
                              second time im facing this issue
                              and when complaining about
                              it they respond without even
                              listening to my concern.

                                I had ordered from Zomato from a restaurant called Freshmenu. There was a spillage in the order number [protected], for which I consulted the customer care in Zomato. I consulted twice but they have stated that there is no refund possible. The order amounts to Rs. 256 and I was not reimbursed despite asking directly.

                                    Your company is so insane that they just fool the innocents .
                                    We have ordered manchurian gravy from chopsticks restaurant and after an more than an hour of waiting and tried calling your rider we were not responded back . Nd then suddenly received the notification of order veing cancelled framing us guilty for not receiving the call and the reality is that we didn't even received any call . We were charged the total sum as cancelation. Is this how you guys treat your customers. I swear i m not gonna use it ever again nd would also let my known ones to boycott it .
                                    You guys just charged us for no reason and even the food wasn't delivered nd fault was all yours cause we tired reaching uh but you accused us of being out of reach . Liars in the name of big brand total fraudd.. gonna give you the worst ratings.

                                      I received fatal food. I ordered chicken chilli and butter naan from Ram Babu Hotel and Restaurant via 'ZOMATO' app. But that restaurant delivered me pathetic quality food there was a lot of stones and iton particles spread over butter naan. If I shallow any single bite then it will be fatal for me. There were at least 50-100 iron particles with sharp edges. Chicken chilli was stale It was smelling very bad. I am not even able to shallow a bit.

                                        Hi had placed an order from kinki restaurant yesterday ([protected]) for a total of Rs. 2510 through Zomato. One of the items (Shanghai veg dimsums Rs 300 plus taxes) was missing from the order for which I reached out to customer support where the Zomato agent said to leave a review for the restaurant as he isn’t able to issue a refund. When I asked him if he could escalate to his supervisor, he said he isn’t authorised to do that. Then I asked him where do I complain about Zomato he said just leave a review. After much back and forth and me asking if I need to go to consumer court he said he is escalating but there is no reference number. Zomato advertisements and backing up their claims is highly inconsistent with them duping clients. Now I’m not sure how I’m supposed to get a refund issued? Zomato effectively just washed off their hands saying write a review for the restaurant which I did.
