I have order food in zomato (Behrous briyani royal and safe) restarant ekadutangal, 15, apr 2020 9.00 pm due to locktown the restaurant closed at 8.30 pm itself the delevary boy called me and said restaurant is closed so i cancel order sir u will get repayment from zomato in 24 hrs i did not bother that day, but till now i did not get any refund i checked now in zomato app it is mentioned as delevored how can u mention without delevaring. My food to me i want my refund today i have proof, i have recorded call both hotel and delevary boy call i need refund make it as soon as possible need ur response

      We had ordered a special chicken kebab family combo from mani's dum biryani through zomato worth rs 1094 at 1:30 pm. Since it was not delivered even after an hour, we called the rider named mintu bhattacharji (Ph no: [removed]) but his phone was switched off. Hence we contacted zomato and they said that it would be delivered in 15 minutes by another rider. After half an hour since there was no response, we called the second rider. He said that the restaurant was not willing to give him the food again as the first rider had already taken it from them. So we contacted zomato again and asked them to cancel the order because the order that was placed at 1:30 had not been delivered even by 4:30. So we just tried to call the first rider now and the phone was ringing and was picked up by his wife and she said that the number belonged to her. We received rs547 as a refund and we are told that we will receive the rest of the money in 4-5 working days. It is not the first time that we are experiencing something like this. Hence we request the company not to cheat their customers like this. I hope it does not happen to anyone else.

        I placed an order at 8:40 pm sunday and i received a notification stating the valet is on the way, upon checking the live status in the app he was 3 kms away and moving to some other place.
        After raising this issue to zomato customer service and the rep name is naveen, i was informed to contact the valet directly instead of reaching customer service.
        So i called the valet and he was not reachable, so again another chat with zomato, and i was informed to wait for 15 minutes, exactly in 3 mins i got a message stating my order has been rejected, i have waited from 8:40pm till 10pm with no further updates from zomato, i was on the chat sitting idle with no customer support, i did not have my food because you did not serve me food as per your commitment and notification, i need someone to look into this matter at urgent, why are you taking my money when the restaurant is not available, i dint get my money back to account and i need a compensation from zomato for poor customer service.

          This is regarding my recent order from kota kachori on zomato. (Order number: [protected])

          Issue: food has not been delivered and the order stands cancelled without my will. Refund has not been provided on it as well. Reason for cancel is being mentioned as requested by customer.

          Details: zomato valet came near the delivery location and called me up. I told him the house address and asked to come 4th floor. He did not aggreed upon that and told to come downstairs. I asked him to come halfway to which he refused. I told him as quoted "if you cannot come i am busy with my work and could not come down you take that order i will talk to customer support". After that i raised a chat request for the order and asked to check why is he not coming till doorstep when just a previous order has been received by me at door. Customer support executive tried calling the valet and was unreachable, even i tried calling him and he was not reachable. Since i saw the cs taking away the order with frustration i had a serious concern with the order being tampered and raised the same over chat. To which i received a call from the cs stating that they have been connected with the valet and have asked him to deliver the order back. I explained the same concern and queried about the refund. I got a reply from the cs that in this case there cannot be any refund as the cancellation charge will be 100 percent. I did not agreed on the same and disconnected the call without proper resolution. After which i see the order got cancelled and reason being requested by the customer. I enquired the same on the chat and got a response that the delivery valet tried reaching out to me but i disconnected. The fact is there was no call by the delivery person and he was not within my visual so that i could have established a contact with him. I need to know is that the way it works and how can a order placed with my money be cancelled without my confirmation.

          Resolution requested: refund my money as this order was cancelled by zomato and zomato valet without my permission and confirmation.

          Finally after getting the Chat rotated with two Executive I have my issue addressed by the Escalation team of Zomato. Therefore marking this issue as resolved.

            I ordered food on zomato and made a upi payment through Google pay from my corp bank account... The first try it said payment failed so i tried again... Now i notice that the Rs. 319 had been debited twice from my bank and it shows payment successful two times in Google pay towards zomato

              I have placed an order with zomato from persian darbar located at marol naka.
              The order was cancelled due to unavailability of the item. As per zomato the order refund has been initiated on the same day itself & same would be processed to my account within 7 working days.
              Same has not been refunded yet. I have contacted my bank for the same as zomato has provided the reference no for the same but bank people are saying same has initiated by zomato & they will only refund the money as no service is stopped by banks to process refund amount.
              Now after some time zomato is saying my email id or some other details are not matching. While placing the order i did not get any issue like so many times & now when its time to repay my amount, why zomato is asking me these details as the details i have already provided on an email.

              Both the service providers are giving each other names & i have to struggle for the money of which the items are not delivered. Details are mentioned below.

                I am a regular Customer of Zomato. From the last few weeks There is a serious problem in our city. This problem is faced by each and every one o[censored]s in the city.
                While searching for restaurants In Zomato app there is 5-6 restaurants with different names but their owner is same and the food comes from the same location.
                Actually there no such restaurant in that place. They cook food from home and delivers. The problem is they are cheating us by different names.
                The food quality is also very poor. No taste at all. And the price of the same dish is different every name.
                I request you to please take immediate action. I am attaching all the details.

                  Zomato is not doing regular checks, i orders food from zomato and the driver wasn’t wearing a mask or gloves. The restaurant did not provide a bag for my food. The delivery person touched my food with bare hands. I am stating that zomato has not followed any government rules and has not tracked the delivery person who delivered the food to me. Even the customer service personal sooraj and alina didn’t register a complaint and let the matter slip away

                    I ordered food from zomato but restaurant said 1 item not available i can't accept that so i want to cancel that but my money deducted not refunded to me worst behaviour giving to me zomato it's really worst zomato all rounded we have to make complaint against zomato

                      Hello,
                      On 19th april 2020 12.03am i ordered food from zomato with order id: [protected]. The issue is that while i ordered food i mentioned the address where the food needs to be delivered. But the application picked wrong address automatically which i didn't know. When the delivery guy called me and said that he already reached the address, then i searched for him near my location for 5-10 minutes then i saw in the application that he's around 600m far from my location. So i called him and mentioned that he's in wrong address and search in google map the mentioned address from the invoice and come to that place.
                      Then he came to the invoice address and stopped 200m far from our location and refused to come here. He again asked me not to receive his calls for two times for which the order will automatically get cancelled and i'll receive my refund.

                      Then i mentioned the entire issue to the zomato customer service through emai and twitter along with the invoice where the address was mentioned and the rider location. Then i received one call from there end and the tech support was very rude in the entire call and even he said they won't refund the money as the distance was more than 15km and disconnect the call in the middle.

                      In short as a customer who already paid the food has neither received his food nor the amount what he paid for the food.

                      Please help me with this issue because it's my hard earned money and i think it's unfair and unfortunate to face this kind of brutality from a company which serves food.

                          I placed an order to breakfast in box ejipura bangalore order id : [protected] from bib-breakfast in the box on 12 april 2020 at 8 am i ordered through zomato a devil's breakfast which cost rs 399. I only received one fried egg mushroom and 2 sausages. Missing one sausage 3 bacon 1 chicken bacon mashed potatoes tomato and bread. Normally the above would cost above rs 300 in the same restaurant. Despite multiple emails no one has compensated anything. They have also shut down love support so the delivery person could talk to the zomato people at the time of delivering shifting all grievances to only email support. Have wasted precious hours arguing on mail with no compensation

                            On 18 March 2020 at 11PM, a Zomato order no. ZTD-20-E9D4BC64OF603 that I got from my paytm wallet. An amount of Rs.244.35/- was debited from my paytm wallet which i didn't order. The money was debited without my consent. I request you to please check the above fraud mentioned and credit my amount back to my wallet. My Paytm number [protected].

                                I placed an order on april 9 th, 2020, from maharaja restaurant. I am attaching the copy of my order.
                                After sometime i got the message order delivered. But i didn't get.
                                I called the delivery man, but he didn't lift the call.
                                I tried to contact zomato support at that time, but they didn't respond & telling me to send mail.
                                After 2 days, they are saying order successfully delivered to you.
                                Plz look into this matter.

                                      I ordered food that was spoilt and demanded refund, for which I recieved my refund as well.
                                      After that I ordered food and everything was fine.
                                      Suddenly after 2 days my account is now blocked due to suspicious activity and no other reason is mentioned.
                                      I demand quick resolution to this, as I have been a regular user!
