I placed an order at 8:40 pm sunday and i received a notification stating the valet is on the way, upon checking the live status in the app he was 3 kms away and moving to some other place.
After raising this issue to zomato customer service and the rep name is naveen, i was informed to contact the valet directly instead of reaching customer service.
So i called the valet and he was not reachable, so again another chat with zomato, and i was informed to wait for 15 minutes, exactly in 3 mins i got a message stating my order has been rejected, i have waited from 8:40pm till 10pm with no further updates from zomato, i was on the chat sitting idle with no customer support, i did not have my food because you did not serve me food as per your commitment and notification, i need someone to look into this matter at urgent, why are you taking my money when the restaurant is not available, i dint get my money back to account and i need a compensation from zomato for poor customer service.
