    I din get the food delivered.
    No calls received from valet.
    The order was canceled
    No refund no re delivery
    No proof provided by zomato that there were calls made to me

      On 08 april 2020 i placed order on zomato from restaurant pizza peddlers for amount rs244. Orderid [protected] & orderid [protected]. (All proof attached and systematically explained)

      I apologise as this will be very long to read so, i will highlight now and provide detailed explanation at the bottom.

      i received a call from delivery boy saying that since there are 2 orders from me, he will mark deliver and hand over to another delivery boy.
      surprised, i ordered only one but in app there are 2 orders.
      tried zomato support chat, only bot no feature of cancellaation. No human behind it hence i couldnt explain.
      called restaurant no but it was fake number provided by zomato.
      with no choice i called the other delivery boy who was supposed to bring 2 orders and explained him that zomato did mistake.

      delivery boy accepted and told he cancelled other order and told i will get refund. And he gave me only 1 order.

      i mailed zomato and raised the issue but they are not refunding me despite giving me only 1 order they charged for 2.
      i gave them 1 month time to sort out with their backend technical team and give me refund. But even after 1 month they are denying me. Hence i am complaining.

      -i have proof for everything. Even a kid with common sense after refering to the labelled images will know that issue is with zomato. Please fetch all the images.

      Points to be proven:
      Point 1: payment bug is from zomato side i have not intentionally placed 2 orders.

      Point 2: no means to resolve/remedy situation when error was occurred from their end.

      Point 3: incompetence, and failure to provide refund and compensation even while sufficient proof, explanation and maximum cooperation from my side is given.

      Brief explanation:-

      -i have mentioned that i had placed only 1 order. Let me explain how there were 2 orders and proof that it is zomato's payment bug.

      - usually during payments, most of the times it will not be successful in 1st attempt, hence after some time zomato app asks me to hit retry payment (Ref. Attachment proof of common occurence payment failures 1, 2). Same thing happened here.
      But now without my knowledge 2 successful payments were done while zomato displayed me that payment failed i had to retry.
      Later in call with representative they argued that i intentionally placed 2 orders. Let me disprove it.
      Due to this error, there were 2 orders generated orderid [protected] & orderid [protected].

      Now please fetch attachment (Zomato promo code terms and conditions, time when order placed 1, 2 & zomato promo code 1, 2)

      You can see that i have used promo code which gave me rs70 discount.
      Now read the terms and conditions of promo code. It says this code can only be used only once in 60 minutes every restaurant. Now refer to the time when order was placed.in both "time when order placed 1, 2" screenshots you can see that it was placed at 08:10pm. So, if i human had placed 2 orders intentionally/manually, then it would be impossible to apply promo code for 2nd order.
      And look both the orders are placed at exact same time. It is impossible to place 2 orders with promo code. This is proof that it was bug from zomato app.)

      Hence i have proven point 1.

      -next, meanwhile i tried to reach out chat support but only preloaded messages from robot were displayed. Hence i tried calling restaurant no provided in topmost right corner in the app (Refer time when order placed and fake restaurant no) but the receiver said this is not restaurant number and he is always being harassed.
      I dropped a mail hoping that they will cancel it soon before it it delivered, (Ref mail 1, 2) but they did not cancel order.

      Hence i have proven point 2

      - the rider 1 called me (I dont remember names) and told i had 2 orders and since it is same address, he is marking it delivered and will hand over to the rider 2.
      - this is the time i actually understood what was going on and tried to get in touch with zomato but failed.
      - since i couldnt get in touch with zomato support or restaurant, i called rider 2 and explained that it was not my mistake and cancel the extra order.
      - rider 2 assured me of cancellation and said i would get refund and he delivered me only 1 order. I dont know what he did with the order rider 1 had hand over.

      - i tried to mail the customer support for refund of the other order but they denied saying that in system it is showing that order is marked delivered for both oder id and refund is not possible.
      (Refer attachment mail 1-6)
      - i told them to call me.in call the customer representative kept me in conference with rider 1. I explained everything. When customer representative asked rider 1 did he deliver to my location, rider 1 said he came to my location and delivered. He started lying fearing that he will be punished or penalized for handing over the order to rider 2. Of course he will lie. Who will tell their boss that they have not performed their duties?
      I told the same. Rider 1 in restaurant itself had marked delivered and handed over, so in conference i asked him to describe my location or what instructions did he get from me to come to my location, since it is difficult to reach my locations without instructions. He was not able to prove it. But kept insisting that he had delivered.
      Customer representative called rider 2 and he said that there was only 1 delivery.
      It takes 40 min to come to my location. How come when restaurant finished preparing food at same time, one was marked delivered 40 minutes before and other 40 mins later? Doesn't this prove that rider 1 sitting at restraunt had marked it delivered?
      Now i and customer representative came to agreement that since rider 1 cannot be trusted, customer representative will forward it to his backed team, there they will
      "determine rider 1's location at the time delivery was marked successful".
      I was happy with this proposal since this will bring out the truth. And replied that i was eagerly awaiting their results from backed.

      Hence point 3.

      Now 1 month has passed. I have given them enough time but no refund. They are mailing me and calling me harassing me to give me details.
      I should explain this from start? I told them to refer trial mail and even explained to them. But every time it is new representative and they dont resolve my issue and keep harassing me.
      Just how many times can i explain whole thing? I am done with them.

      They are employing delay stratergy.

      I request you to please resolve this issue and bring me justice.

        My order no. On zomato is [protected].
        I ordered a pizza cheese blend sauce 1kg pack. The pack delivered was just getting expired in 9 days from the delivery date. Even the color of the sauce was getting yellowish as it was getting rotten. I did talked to customer support to change the product with a latest manufacturing date or return the product. But as zomato is kind of selfish and fraud company nowadays they refused to change or return the product. Now the product is a complete waste of money for me as i cant eat a rotten product. Very very shameful for zomato. I will never order anything from zomato.

          Dear team,

          Hope everyone are well and safe. Regarding the order no [protected]. I made an order for my parents since they could not go out. Once my order got confirmed and zomato vallet was assigned, texted him my parents contact no and slept since had a very long day @work and needed a break. Once i woke up when i checked the order details got to know it was declined. May i know how could be the right solution for this? Glad to hear from you or make this escalated, because it made me feel bad about this kind of thing.

            Dear zomato

            I had placed an order on the 6.05.2020 from kfc which got cancelled the order #. But the amount was deducted twice. I have attached a photo as proof.
            Update: 15.05.2020 recieved one payment of rs 614.99/- n the other payment is still not reflecting with my bank after provinding the transaction id.

              On 10th may 3:15pm i get a notification that rs.675 is paid to zomato via paytm, which i haven't done, i had a word with paytm and they said iy is autodebit by zomato as my wallet is linked. I contacted zomato via their chat and they refused, they said that they haven't received any money even in zomato app i cannot see any transaction or any order, i don't know where it went. Paytm confirms that it's not a fradulant activity and says it is autodebit via zomato itself and zomato refused to accept.

                With respect to Order [protected], Zomato have delivered chicken item instead of egg item. Due to corona atmosphere I am abstain to eat chicken and also due to my beliefs. It has caused real amount of trauma and agony to me. Also the phone number of the restaurant mentioned in the app unable to connect. For this mental harassment happened to me I required suitable compensation.

                  I had ordered vegetables from zomato from daily basket, ina colony amritsar. To my surprise order which was delivered was entirely waste. Vegetables were rotten. There were insects in vegetables. I tried to contact zomato but all in vain. No body is listening. I tried reaching out to the shop from where the order was delivered but surprisingly shop was not there and shop owner denied telling his actual location and denied any kind of exchange or refund.
                  Please help me as these people are taking advantage of the covid 19 situation and instead of healthy stuff they are looting consumers by sending stuff which is not fit for consumption and not caring about exchange or refund or after service

                    Not giving refund amount for missing items in the order, no proper reply and response from the customer service. O toll free number to call also.

                    They are cheating customers, same happens many times.

                    Paid 1390 in zomato app for grocery, received 830 worth items and the remaining balance is 686 credit balance is displayed in the bill.

                    Still zomato customer service not accepting to refund the money and that's their policy.

                    Cheating the customer and taking extra money is the zomato policy.

                      Not giving refund amount, paid 1390 in zomato grocery app, received 830 worth items and same is there in the bill also.

                      Remaining balance is not credited to my account and customer care person tells me that they cannot give the money back.

                        I have not received my refund. It was made on april 16 and the app showing that they have already refunded to my account and it may take 7 days to reflect that in my account. But it had been already 15days and its not been received in my card.
                        The refund was initiated because of nonavailability of the food in the particular restaurant.

                          I have order food on Monday night 27th April on zomato.and they accepted order but after some minutes they decline my order.while chatting with customer support he told they initiated refund amount but two days going to complete still amount not refunded.

                            This is worst app experience i have ever faced. I am just waiting when this company will comes down in losses and it’ll get close for forever.
                            On april 2020, i ordered from mc donald’s i. E 2 aloo tikki burger with cheese and 2 mc puff, in which mc puff quality was so poor and it’s taste was so horrible, you can say this also it was tasteless item. I complaint this on zomato and even i given my feedback to mc donald’s page on zomato app. I also tried to chat with zomato customer executive they also didn’t help me and i also mailed them 6 times they don’t reply my mail after giving 1 time reply and every time there was a new customer executive talked to me and i have u explained them from the beginning. I want to make complaint again zomato company

                                  We had ordered a special chicken kebab family combo from mani's dum biryani through zomato worth rs 1094 at 1:30 pm. Since it was not delivered even after an hour, we called the rider named mintu bhattacharji (Ph no: [removed]) but his phone was switched off. Hence we contacted zomato and they said that it would be delivered in 15 minutes by another rider. After half an hour since there was no response, we called the second rider. He said that the restaurant was not willing to give him the food again as the first rider had already taken it from them. So we contacted zomato again and asked them to cancel the order because the order that was placed at 1:30 had not been delivered even by 4:30. So we just tried to call the first rider now and the phone was ringing and was picked up by his wife and she said that the number belonged to her. We received rs547 as a refund and we are told that we will receive the rest of the money in 4-5 working days. It is not the first time that we are experiencing something like this. Hence we request the company not to cheat their customers like this. I hope it does not happen to anyone else.

                                    I placed an order at 8:40 pm sunday and i received a notification stating the valet is on the way, upon checking the live status in the app he was 3 kms away and moving to some other place.
                                    After raising this issue to zomato customer service and the rep name is naveen, i was informed to contact the valet directly instead of reaching customer service.
                                    So i called the valet and he was not reachable, so again another chat with zomato, and i was informed to wait for 15 minutes, exactly in 3 mins i got a message stating my order has been rejected, i have waited from 8:40pm till 10pm with no further updates from zomato, i was on the chat sitting idle with no customer support, i did not have my food because you did not serve me food as per your commitment and notification, i need someone to look into this matter at urgent, why are you taking my money when the restaurant is not available, i dint get my money back to account and i need a compensation from zomato for poor customer service.

                                      This is regarding my recent order from kota kachori on zomato. (Order number: [protected])

                                      Issue: food has not been delivered and the order stands cancelled without my will. Refund has not been provided on it as well. Reason for cancel is being mentioned as requested by customer.

                                      Details: zomato valet came near the delivery location and called me up. I told him the house address and asked to come 4th floor. He did not aggreed upon that and told to come downstairs. I asked him to come halfway to which he refused. I told him as quoted "if you cannot come i am busy with my work and could not come down you take that order i will talk to customer support". After that i raised a chat request for the order and asked to check why is he not coming till doorstep when just a previous order has been received by me at door. Customer support executive tried calling the valet and was unreachable, even i tried calling him and he was not reachable. Since i saw the cs taking away the order with frustration i had a serious concern with the order being tampered and raised the same over chat. To which i received a call from the cs stating that they have been connected with the valet and have asked him to deliver the order back. I explained the same concern and queried about the refund. I got a reply from the cs that in this case there cannot be any refund as the cancellation charge will be 100 percent. I did not agreed on the same and disconnected the call without proper resolution. After which i see the order got cancelled and reason being requested by the customer. I enquired the same on the chat and got a response that the delivery valet tried reaching out to me but i disconnected. The fact is there was no call by the delivery person and he was not within my visual so that i could have established a contact with him. I need to know is that the way it works and how can a order placed with my money be cancelled without my confirmation.

                                      Resolution requested: refund my money as this order was cancelled by zomato and zomato valet without my permission and confirmation.

                                      Finally after getting the Chat rotated with two Executive I have my issue addressed by the Escalation team of Zomato. Therefore marking this issue as resolved.

                                        I ordered food on zomato and made a upi payment through Google pay from my corp bank account... The first try it said payment failed so i tried again... Now i notice that the Rs. 319 had been debited twice from my bank and it shows payment successful two times in Google pay towards zomato
