Zomato has disabled my account from online ordering, all because i complained abut the wrong order last year. They added zomato credits to my account and then conveniently disabled my account. Now those credits are useless for me. My gold membership got wasted.

Mr. Deepinder goyal can confirm if they decide to not activate delivery again once disabled?

    I have an issue here
    My order has been placed from hyderabad eatz restaurants and also i amount of 188.60 rupees has been debited from my account.
    We have reached the zomato chat service but there is no result. There are mentioning that they cannot refund or else replace my order.

    We are expecting the positive replay
    Because this may effect your brand and also the service.

    Try to credit my account as early as possible.

    If the amount has been not credited then by here now i will stop using your services

      problem with zomato refund status

      I've ordered food from coffee and tiffin restaurant (Order i'd -[protected]) this was on november 2019, and yet i haven't received the refund and i've ordered again from bakerstreet pizza ([protected] - order i'd) and i haven't received refund and they're give rrn number through which we can track the refund but i dont think that is useful. I paid using gpay, so kindly refund the amount to zomato wallet so that atleast i can use it again :)...

      My order was cancelled by your executive because my live location was different from the location i wrote. It is not my problem if my live location wasn't detected correctly by your stupid app, i did pit the whole address so i dont know what's the fuss about.
      I requested your delivery guy to come to the location which was literally 9minutes away and even told him that i will give him extra money for this but his stubborn behaviour helped none. Also, the help executive told me that i wont be getting my refund back. Fraud zomato.

        I made an order today and the order got cancelled.

        Even after the cancellation i connected within seconds with the support team to undo the order. They said me that i wouldn’t get a single rupee nor the food.

        I lost all my rs270/- for nothing.

        This is so bad and fraud. Partial refund atleast must be provided or a coupon atleast.
        Total order amt has been taken for cancellation and i received nothing. Pls help.

          A product was not delivered to me worth rs 570. Then i asked for a refund but instead a promo code was added to my account and i wasn’t informed of the validity of this code and now the code has got expired and zomato is not updating it. This is not fair since the order was not delivered and i asked for refund to account but zomato advisor sent it as a promo code. They have charged me incorrectly when i have not even have used the services.

            Hellow sir, i ordered food in zomoto (Order number: [protected]) we ordered food at 4.46, still food is not delivered. Zomoto agent said to complaint it in zomoto customer care. I complained but they are not giving perfect reason. I have been wiating for more than 1 hr, but they insulting me by sending " for compansation we send you rs. 100. Then they cancelled the order and initiated refund. I need the refund today. Please help me out

              Ordered food from zomato. Zomato claims on the delivery page (See attached file) they were at my address but i didn't receive the order which is a lie. I tried calling them back almost immediately, first i was put on hold as the valet was on call with someone else. Then my calls were ignored. There has been news before of zomato valets eating food ordered by customers, i believe the same has happened here under the guise of me not being there at the address.

                Hi zomato team,
                I have placed an order on 27/02/2020 against order#[protected] using your app. The order details was 2-mutton biriyani from arsalan and total charges was 447/-.
                After few minutes later i received a call from your rider that he not able to find my delivery location, when i placed the order via my mobile using number [protected] the delivery location was mentioned below.
                49, purna mitra place kolkata 700033, aminia golpark, ballygunge gardens, kolkata, west bengal, india.
                I used this address from your app and the address is the correct one, but the location of the address is not typed by me, it was accepted by your app.
                I requested the rider to deliver the parcel to my home as i already paid the amount via paytm. The rider denied to deliver and transfer the call to rider helpline, the helpline contact person said i have selected wrong address due to that neither i will net get the parcel nor even the refund. I have initiate a chat session with your helpdesk and explained the situation, but helpdesk person constantly stating that i have selected wrong address due to that no refund possible.

                I like to inform you that 49, purna mitra place is my home address and that address was mentioned in the delivery location, then why the parcel was not delivered. I have paid the amount, i have selected my correct home address still i it was not acceptable at all about your service and customer relation, i have paid something for nothing.
                I was in a marriage ceremony which is 55km away from my home and that requested food was for my wife and mother, they not able to have their dinner yesterday due to your outstanding support and process.

                    I have not received the order for more than a hour so i have tried to contact customer care. Later on she said that the order is delivered but as in the status it was showing it was still in preparation and the valet is also not assigned so i asked how can it will be delivered without the valet. When i was able to prove it, my order got cancelled. So, i have waited for more than a hour and she was trying to manipulate me but when she found that i can prove it so she cancelled the order. She also lied that i will get a promo code of 200 which she failed to do that. Nice trick zomato!!!

                      I ordered schezwan gobi noodles and gobi manchurian through zomato. I paid 186 rupees to zomato. They accepted my order and arranged a delivery boy for the food in name abdulhameed. And after 15 minutes, the hotel person calls me and tell me to change the food item. I said, I am like to eat this food only, when I ordered. It is showing in zomato, in stock. After taking my money and accept, now without my knowledge, zomato cancelled my ordered..

                      Full of hungry, I raise this complaint. Zomato taking money from me and make me to wait for more than 30 minutes. At last, they cancel my order without my knowledge. Please take necessary action.

                        I have ordered Butter Chicken Naan & Crispy Corn Meal from UBQ by Barbeque Nation and the delivery person was late so I called him and when I asked him for my order he said that my order is cancelled because he wasn't able to connect with me. Then I connected zomato on chat, they also replied me that order was cancelled as my phone was not able to connect. And when I asked for refund they replied that they will not be able to initiate a refund as there delivery person and support team tried several times to reach out to me but there was no response from my side.
                        But my number was never unreachable. Neither the delivery person called nor zomato tried to inform this once.
                        Do zomato doubt customers intentions?
                        Is our money is just a piece of paper?

                            I have ordered food on 22/02/20 and cancelled the order with in few mins.
                            But zomato not refunded the money, they said for cancelled order they will not refund the money.
                            How can they prepare the food in 5 mins & if this is the policy then zomato team have to deliever the food as well.
                            There is no customer care number and on emails they said will not refund the money.
                            There is big fraud going on. we can easily check that they have increased the amount on zomato app. if we directly contact to resturant then they are providing food at less price.

                              As advertised by zomato, get food delivered within 30 minutes or get it for free is a misleading advertising and fake. I had ordered food at 8:58 pm on february 25 2020 and the food was delivered at 9:48 pm on february 25 2020. Which is more than 30 minutes. I have a screenshot from zomato stating that the food will be delayed and when i requested for the refund, they denied.

                                Hello, i payed for zomaland tickets and payment was successful, however there was no confirmation about the tickets i checked email, sms and even in app (Zomato) but no tickets, so i contacted zomato chat customer support as there is no voice customer support, and i was told that the payment wasn't confirmed, the amount was deducted from my account, i payed for 3 tickets each 399rs, i payed total of 1197rs, and i was told that if the amount has been deducted it will be refunded in few days its been days and there is no update regarding this and now even the zomaland tab is removed so there is no way to contact customer support and even that chat history with zomato chat support is not showing,

                                This was a disappointment in the first place that i payed for the tickets still didn't receive the tickets and the event is today and i cant attend the event because there was an error/issue with zomato, and now i am having to contact customer support again just to confirm if the refund has been issued or not

                                But i was told by a chat customer support to contact through email as this information can only be provided by an email customer support.

                                Please reply as soon as possible with a confirmation.

                                took 15 days, after multiple emails and chats between me and Zomato agents, however they refunded full amount, i am not much happy about it as they took this long after providing multiple proofs and investing a lot of time for this as i couldn't attend the event in the first place and then it took some effort to the the refund even though they should have done it without me having to put up with them for so long

                                multiple replies from zomato, however they are now telling me that tickets were sent through email, wheres as i contacted chat customer support through zomalamd tab in zomato app, and chat support confirmed in the chat that payment was not confirmed and if the amount was deducted then it will b refunded in 5-7 days, which is why i was disappointed that i couldn't go to the event next day, not i am being told that tickets were sent !!! i checked and there is no such email, i was also told to check under zomaland tab in zomato app where it should tickets, it does not show anything as such and now even the zomaland tab in the zomato app has been removed after the even !!!

                                received and email confirmation from zomato on 5th march 2020 that refund will be done in 7-10 days, it has been 14 days today since the issue, i also got an email from zomato saying that tickets were confirmed, which i contacted them a day before the event and they said it will be refunded, ..anyway i still haven't received the refund as of yet .. will check again in 7-10 days as zomato says, hopefully will get the refund by then

                                  My Order was placed and the driver reached my street and called couple of times. I was held up in important call and couldn't pick his call. Zomato delivery guy cancelled the order and updated status as "No refund" as customer was not available to collect the order. As a customer, my expectation was that Zomato delivery guy should knock the door and deliver the food rather calling to customer's mobile phone to check the availability. Customer might have been ordered food for someone at home. Address was clearly mentioned in the Zomato account and not sure what is stopping delivery guy to reach the home.
                                  I have seen several times that Delivery guys sit in his bike, call customers and want them to come and collect where he parks his bike. This is unacceptable. I want the refund back and I want Zomato team to educate delivery guys to reach customers place, knock the door and deliver the food rather calling the person.
                                  To make it worse, I raised a complaint via email and there is no proper resolution provided rather same email template by Zomato customer care team. Their email response is given below -

                                  "This mail is regarding your order ID- [protected] from Dindigul Thalappakatti.

                                  Please be informed that we have introduced new policies to avoid food wastage which includes that if any order is cancelled under customer being unresponsive then cancellation charge is levied. Since our delivery executive as well as our support team tried reaching out multiple times however, the calls went unanswered due to which we had to cancel the order. Hence, refund cannot be initiated. Would request you to avoid such instances in future.

                                  If you have any queries, do write back to us. For a quicker resolution, do ping us on the in-app chat support."

                                  I have a simple question to the Zomato team. I have reviewed the Terms and conditions and attached it for your reference. Please go through it once again.

                                  It clearly says refund cannot be done if customer is unresponsive. In my scenario, I clearly mentioned my delivery address and delivery guy didnt reach out to my home and knock the bell.
                                  No where in your terms and conditions, it says that customer should attend the call of delivery guy. My concern is the delivery guy is not even at my door step and ring the bell to gain my attention/response. Without being in the spot, how could you blame the customer as unresponsive.
                                  I suppose there is an option called "Dont ring the bell" option in order page. It means the delivery guy should ideally reach customer home to deliver the package rather waiting in the street and tried calling the customer.
                                  If the door is locked or customer doesn't turn up after ringing the door bell, then you can call it as unresponsive. But in this case, you cannot call it as unresponsive and you cannot expect customers to be available on phone.

                                  There is no escalation matrix in Zomato team. I expect a valid answer.

                                    I have ordered food through zomato mobile app on 23/02/2020, 7:42 pm (Order no. [protected]) and i paid the amount for the same through my debit card.
                                    The delivery boy for the above said order has gone to wrong address, which was confirmed by him when i called him and subsequently cancelled the order.
                                    On very next minute i approached zomato "online ordering help" and found that there is no contact no. To call and only chat help they have. I expressed my complaint through zomato chat, but even after extended explanation they refused to refund the amount by stating i have not pick the call when delivery boy called.
                                    Hereby i want to bring it to your notice that
                                    . Delivery boy has not come to given address for which i have call & cc camera recordings.
                                    . Secondly co. Has not displayed delivery boy mobile no. To contact.
                                    . Thirdly co. Is alleging that i have cancelled order on my own which was not happened in fact, which was done by their own delivery boy.

                                    Please make every online food delivery co. To provide consumer contact no. For the benefit of indian citizen

                                      Hi,

                                      I ordered (Order no: [protected]) food from the app and it was not properly sealed properly due to which it got spilled. Order number in subject line also attached the screenshot to cross reference it.

                                      I am a vere hygienic person and trust zomato to deliver hygienic food. Also i rely on zomato for my daily quota of food as evident from my orders.

                                      I have no complain from zomato in terms of customer service so far. However today i was disappointed with the food packaging and deliver of it.

                                      The packet was not sealed properly and food got spiled. For normal person that could have been fine but as i said i am a very hygienic person i had to throw the whole thing in the garbage bag.

                                      I trust the plastic containers are hygienic (I am sure you guys have strict rules around it, if not you guys are in trouble as playing with people helath will some day bring you down), well lets beliebe they are dis-infected in that case when food spills it gets contaminated by the bag it was delivered. Bag being a fabric is more prone to bacteria and other micro organisms which can create serious stomach issues and in worst case can also hospitalize you for even a month. Now do you understand the the severity of delivering food in properly sealed containers.

                                      Bag is not only the issue, the bag delivery agents use is also not hygienic at all as i am sure many packets gets spilled during the day and we indians will not take any action till its too late. That means those bags are not washed timely again spillage is serious and spilled food should not be consumed.

                                      I tried calling the restaurant to report the issue at the exact moment but as usual there was no response no one care to even pick the phone up let alone resolving my concern.

                                      Today i thought of writing this big email because it is more frequent these days, out of 10 if 2 packets are not sealed properly i'll give it a poor.

                                      I am pretty sure nothing is going to happen as making profit is all what matters but as a responsible citizen i had to report the incident. Also it hurts to increase the size of my garbage with my hard earned money.

                                      I am surely looking for a full refund and an assurance that things will be strick and we will not receive spilled packages or we should have the right to deny a food packet if food is spilled or something similar to it.

                                      Please refer to the attached images for validation and order id. I dont k ow about you folks but i am not going to consume food from a spilled container consider it similar to eating your food served on dirt. I am sure you wont accept it, if its not visible that doesnot means its not there.

                                      I have ordered the food via Zomato but they delivered the wrong address.
                                      I have waited so many hours for the food but it was not yet.
                                      So I decided to live chat with Zomato but they also not helped. contacted hotel which I order the food but they also disconnected the phone when I tried to reach out them
