My wife ordered half veg manchurian and one single egg double chicken roll from junction through online sbi net banking payment option but i didn't know that she paid already and afterall the delivery boy ganesh sharma reached to my location; i asked him that how much price for food. And he told me sir it is rs. 250.00. Then i paid him rs. 250.00 (Order price)+ rs.20.00 (As a tip)= rs.270.00. I thought my wife ordered it by cash on delivery option but after gone of delivery boy she told me that i already paid to zomato through online payment. Then i immediately called to zomato delivery boy ganesh sharma but he refused my call everytime and at last after 11.33 p. M. He put his phone on switch mode. I don't know anything... I want my money back. Is this a type of cheating happened by zomato delivery boy. Then how a common person survive with no customer care no. Facility in zomato application.

    Hi,

    I had ordered a large cheese and golden corn pizza from da pizza corner on 8th feb, but instead of large one a small pizza was delivered to me. I tried to contact the restaurant but did not get a response. Finally decided to visit them personally. After about one hour i was able to locate them. I was shocked to see a small filthy shop. On asking, they first denied receiving any order, but when i made them speak to the delivery boy, they advised me to cancel the order.
    I have done that but still not received my money back.

      I ordered From Burger Cafe through Zomato and I received food which was rotten, I called the delivery boy and asked him to take a look of what I received, he confirmed that the food is not fresh and rotten and even called the restaurant to complain about this, I asked for help to Zomato in form of email, I was attended and I was asked to wait 24&48 hrs to get a refund but after 3 days of continuous email, now in an denied a refund, I have all the email transcripts, chat, tweets of refund as proof and as well the voice recording of Zomato delivery boy of Confirming the ordered Food was rotten, its being 7 days I am not provided with refund

        My name is Jay Parekh and i ordered food from shree ganesh fast food corner and the order was delivered by jeetlal phoolalchand gupta and my complaint is against him, actually he delivered the order and then told that he wants to check the address on my mobile whether its correct or not and hence i gave him my phone, so he gave himself 5 star ratings what kind of behavior is this, its completely unacceptable, he told me that he wants to check address on zomato app and i trusted him and he gave himself a 5 star rating and when i told him that why did he do such a thing he is telling that u must be busy hence i gave ratings to my self, i was really pissed of with his behaviour and hence complained on the chat option with a advisor named laraib she connected the conference call with him and he is telling me that he wanted to educate me how ratings are given what kind of answer is this, instead of saying sorry he is giving explanation for his mis deeds and later on he is saying sorry toh bola ab aur kya karu, i doubt that he has put some hacking software in my phone through which he can do something wrong with my bank details and my hard earned money after disconnecting the call the chat advisor named laraib escalated the issue to a guy named amit he was trying to help me in the best possible way but i am really upset about the behaviour of your zomato delivery person, i have already recorded the calls with amit aswell as the conference call and i have also informed my society chairman that i want the cctv foitage of this act, as i get this cctv footage i will put it on youtube and all social platforms so that people come to know about this, delivery person is the face of zomato and what he has done was really unacceptable, just see the number of orders i do from zomato but hence forward i will not order from zomato and also tell my near and dear ones about this episode and trust me i will make this video viral and if anything happens with my funds or personal data i will sue zomato for it.

          I placed a order on 11th feb 2020 from food forest using zomato app and paid online rs.119.64/- but i not received my order and when i opened app it was marked as delivered. Your delivery valet not called me and marked it delivered how?? When i called him he was not picking my call. How can zomato offer this service to its customers? I was hungry and waiting for my food and what i experienced was not good☹️☹️. It was life worst experience with your services. This is my

            On saturday i. E., 1st feb, 2020, about 7:15 pm i was trying to order pizza but due to payment failure order did not placed but amount deducted from my account twice. But till time amount did not received. And confirmed via bank they are saying payment done successfully to merchant account. And zomato are also no giving any proper reply only saying wait 4-5 days since 10 days.

              Dear m/s zomato,

              I had order food from firangi bake on 01 feb 2020 at 07:09pm, vide order no. [protected] for the amount of rs.647.80. Order could not be completed, saying “ payment incomplete”.

              Again the same order was re-tried vide order no. 01 feb 2020 at 07:11pm, vide order no. [protected] for the amount of rs.647.80. Again this order also could not be completed, saying “ payment incomplete”.

              As advised by your chat agent in app, i had contacted my bank (Icici bank ltd) for crediting back my failed transaction money.

              But, surprisingly, i had received reply from the bank that the amount for both orders had been credited to zomato account without any failure.

              The details given by the bank is given below for your reference. The mail received from icici bank ltd is attached for your ready reference.

              “ your transaction of rs. 647.8 is successfully credited to the beneficiary account vide rrn no[protected].
              Beneficiary details:

              The same was communicated to m/s zomato customer care ([protected]@zomato.com) and on 06 feb 2020, mr shaved khan had confirmed that the payment had failed for my said orders. (Refer trailing mail) he also advised to wait for 4 to 5 working days to get the refund.

              Even after the said period is elapsed, i had neither received refund from zomato or icici bank.

              As icici bank had confirmed that the payment is credited to zomato account in yes bank ltd vide the transaction reference numbers mentioned above, you are requested to refund the said amount rs.1, 295.60 to my account.

                I had ordered food and instruction were not followed. When complain zomato team calls at 10 pm and argues rudely and then further no one replies ceo teams calls with half info and again is of no use they are not highlighting the case to ceo to take final cal. Everyone is rude in zomato. As a customer i deny taking such behavior and have asked for cancellation of gold membership and refund my money but no one is listening and not replying. All have become deaf.

                  Worst experience with zomato today... I paid for kfc and haven't received the order... But in app it is showing that order delivered successfully... I contacted the zomato team but they are saying that they have cross checked and order was delivered... I never thought that a big food service like zomato will also cheat its customers..
                  I want my money back... I want refund
                  Please solve this issue... Please

                    I order from mcdonald's using zomato.

                    The delivery boy never delivered two iced coffee which was mentioned in the bill of the order when it got delivered. Upon delivery i asked the delivery boy about the missing 2 iced coffee he told me that restaurant never gave him those and to contact zomato regarding the same.

                    When i contacted zomato the told me that they have investigated and the delivery boy is telling them that he had delivered the order. The delivery boy is lying and would have took the coffee for himself as we have already seen zomato delivery boy doing the same before.

                    The zomato is now taking side of the delivery boy instead of their customer. I order from zomato daily for about a year. I use it for breakfast, lunch and dinner but still this is the customer service they provide. They are indirectly saying that i must be lying and they have investigated and the items were delivered. I already mailed them twice and they don't consider customer opinion at all and would consider delivery persons words more.

                    This is just because the order was prepaid else i would have rejected the order. Also at time of delivery i tried using zomato support from app but as usual zomato support is always receiving high flow of queries and never really reply instantly and ask to email them.

                    The amount of 2 ice coffe is not such a big amount. I order daily from zomato and would not lie for such small amount and purpose. But still i won't be paying for something that i dont get. That is totally unacceptable.

                    Also i can see that there is nothing you can do for prepaid orders as if something goes wrong there is no instant support of zomato on app as promised to users and they always asks to drop a mail that would take more than 24 hours to respond.

                    I want refund on my 2 iced coffee and if you want you should investigate you delivery boy further. I would not lie for rs.140 but he might. So please hire your delivery boy accordingly as i would not be paying for such thefts as i won't be paying for something that never got delivered.

                    I have also attached the images for reference that there was no iced coffe at the time of delivery but it was mentioned in the bill.

                    Kindly check the images to see that i received only 1 package and it has the bill of all the product but can never accommodate 2 iced coffee in it.

                    The 2 iced coffee were never delivered and i want a refund for the same.

                      Ordered paid food on my home address. Which was being excepted rider called after 25 mins saying location problem then said will follow gprs and delivered. After 10 mins zamoto rang me and asked address which i provided and said it can't be delivered. I called the resturent and they said rider has taken delivery 10 mins back. After waiting for another 20mins again called resturent they said we can give in writing rider has taken delivery now i cheaked mail refund not possible as address problem resturent has prepared

                        Couple of days back, I ordered full portion on a dish for 380/-, but received only half potion (priced at 280/-). So, I contacted there customer service & requested for the other half potion to be delivered. Zomato executive replied that it can't be fone due to non-availability of delivery guys. So, I asked them for a refund. Instead of giving me bank refund or Zomato credits for 190/-, they gave me a coupon using which, now when I order, the total amount comes to 280/- & I still need to pay 90/- for no fault of mine. With Zomato credits or bank refund, I wouldn't have to pay anything.

                          I ordered food from a well known chinese chain through zomato and provided additional instructions. Chatted with zomato customer care regarding the same. Despite all this, still received order not following my instructions. And the message i got from zomato customer service is “i try to call the restaurant but they were unresponsive. We promise, we will take care of delivery and service and will serve you better in future. We completely understand, that this is not the desired online order experience for you, we are deeply regret for the same. Hope to serve you better on your next order.” what is the point of giving service next order when they are not willing to fix the mistake made on the current one. I contacted the restaurant several times and got the right order. Zomato did nothing and promised for better service next time. Horrible service and experience this is not the first time this is happened last time they did not fix the problem and it was a prepaid order. Nothing was done - food was wasted and money was not refunded or order replaced.

                            I was placing an order from dosa king on 09th feb 2020the transaction showed payment failed and the amount got deducted from my account. The order id [protected]. No refund yet i have received. I need immediate resolution for this ticket.

                            Request you to kindly look into this matter. This kind of service from zamoto we are not at all willing to use this app again. They dnt even have customer care number or chat. Dam frastructed.

                            Just to update you all just now I have received a spam call stating that calling from zamoto regarding your complaint. I told him about my refund amount which is yet to credit he said madam there is an issue with hdfc bank we will do transfer your amount in government bank if you do have any plz. I said ok he asked me about my debit card number I got him Dan he asked about expiry date I told him that too. Then finally he asked me about cvv number I told him I cnt share with u that Dan again he said madam I will do right now ur amount transfer I strictly told him no. He just hang up the call. Guys plz be aware with such people.

                              Ordered food from zomato with orderid [protected] of rs 105.25 on jan 26, 2020. They did not delivered the food and when i talked to their customer support for the refund, their initiated the refund of rs 30.25 and the message i received is below

                              "we have initiated a refund against your order (Id: [protected]) on zomato order. Refund of rs 30.25 will start reflecting in your account within 2-7 working days."

                              When i pointed out that i need the full refund of rs 105.25, they said they have escalated the issue and i will receive full refund in 2-7 days.

                              After 2 days, i got refund of rs 30.25. Again i asked their customer support that i haven't received my full amount, they again said we have escalated the issue and you will remaining amount in 2-7 days.

                              After 7 days i again contacted them that i haven't received my money, now they are saying they have refunded my entire money for this order id. This is how zomato is cheating their customers

                                Yesterday i ordered some waffles. My address is given in the app itself. I went on to have shower my family was there at home. The order was prepaid. 672 something. The delivery guy called me i don't know why for like 2/3 times and zomato just cancelled my order. And they didn't refund me my money saying it was a penalty and there is nothing that they can do.

Still delivery boy is denying to deliver the order stating that location was wrong... And abusing on call... He dnt have any manners how to talk to a lady on a call... He was just sharing on call... Mein nai aauga muje traffic or ye sab milta h raste me... Is this a service which we receiving from zomato.
                                    Please educate your delivery boy also to the customer support executive how to talk...

                                        I have ordered food in zomato today afternoon then i went to a meeting. I thought food was delivered with security officer but i was shocked the food not delivered and i have checked with the app it said like food not delivered and also i have received no refund
                                        I called the delivery guy he said the food is returned to the restaurant and i called the restaurant they said please speak with the zomato we can't do anything again i called the delivery guy he said come to restaurant i will ask about the food. When i went to restaurant they said we will receive 50% amount we can't provide you the food ask the zomato customer
                                        Then chated with zomato customer care he replied we can't give refund so i asked for refund policy he said i can find while ordering the food.
                                        No customer support number available only chat
                                        No proper response from customer support
                                        No refund for the paid food which is not delivered
