I ordered from a restaurant called monkey's hat from zomato at approx 8:50. Food was expected to be delivered at 9:23 in the night. I myself had to enquire at 10:00 p. M in the night and the zomato executive kept lying that the order is on the way. I was fooled until 10:45 and then bluntly told the food can't be delivered and we are helpless.
I was refunded the money bu i could not order food again because it was too late for any delivery after that.
Looks like zomato is pressing its monopoly now since there is no way to penalize them.

    I placed the order, my address was right but with my original address, 1 wrong address was written by mistake (Abc apartment sector 11 sector 25) they have rejected my order and are not refunding my money. An unprofessional person called and laughed and told me that order has been rejected and money is not refundable and he disconnected my phone. Zomato chat customer care is also not helping me.
    How can they not refund me. A cancellation charge is fine but they are keeping my full money. This is unethical and wrong. A business is nothing without ots customers, we should be their top priority. If they can't solve a customers issue what is the use then. They make baseless and wrong policies and cheat customers of their hard earned money.

    I made an order on 02/01/2020, order didn’t go through and got a message stating the amount will be refunded in 2-7 business day however, I still haven’t received the amount yet. Here’s the order id: [protected]. Worst experience, not gonna use Zomato again.
    Ordered rolls and gave 500rs to delivery boy. He told i have no return . So he told me that I will transfer you the amount through Google pay .But now he is out of contact with me.

      Money got debited from my account but i couldn't see the order in the order placed section and also i didn't receive any delivery. I received this message

      I am highly disappointed and i want my money back. I want necessary resolution and want to request for the refund. Please help.

      I have ordered food on 31st dec 2019 from pizza factory Gurugram, i haven't received the order but the restaurant shows it delivered food.when i asked for refund the customer support said they have some technical issues regarding refunding of money but it's been 18 days since they initiated the refund.

        I have been chasing resolution and refund patiently since more than 50 days. I have received a documented confirmation on the refund 9 times, including once on the initial chat commitment.

        After several commitments, Very shamelessly the representative today said that no refund will be processed? This is beyond being disgraceful. Zomato is a brand, they have to keep the commitments made and not just put up their hands and say they can't do anything.

          To whomsoever it may concern, i would like to inform that since zomato has recently changed all one plus one offer into percentage amount offer, as a zomato gold member this was not what i expected this was not informed me we don't expect certain percentage of discount in any restaurants which we easily get in other apps like dineout and eazydiner. This is not acceptable and therefore we need the one plus one offer in restaurants like before. This type of change is fraudulent behavior

            Your lying to me and your sporting to restaurant because they are partner of zomato...

              On 12 november, i have ordered online with orbis restaurant. I called the delivery boy to deliver but he was rude and kept on saying the order was cancelled. But to me it was reflecting that it would be delivered. After few moments, it showed the order was cancelled and the money would be refunded.

              I wrote 6-7 mails about the refund at [protected]@zomato.com. They keep on saying the return is initiated but the refund is still not being initiated at all. Rs 401 zomato need to return.
              Please have a look into issue and refund the amount as soon as possible.

                Zomato services were great earlier but now days issue of delivery any order in their application is very good and in same place in fact order is not being deliver. Unfortunately this is not a new case for me in noida and happens twice in 15days of spam. However this is not the end in my one order valet came to my door and asked to raise a complaint against restrurant that they had poor packing and food got flooded in bag and ask for new packs. When i raise complaint then same person came to me with same order in 10min with repacking of same food stating this is what zomato do. "khana gir gaya tha bag me and now hamne near by restaurant se repack karwa diya". The issue is in 10-11 pm people are helpless to get food in another token if first is fail.

                    I had received a wrong order so i had raised an issue to zomato. They told me that they will refund my full amount which was 297.93. On further enquiry they told me that they have refunded my full amount.
                    They gave me rrn no.[protected] to track my amount.
                    I had ordered on 2nd january 2020 and it's been 15 days but i have not received my refund. This is really worst experience with zomato and i really want to take necessary action against them. The name of the restaurant is dhaba social, beml layout, brookfield, bengaluru.

                      Zomato is the biggest fraud company in india, today on 17th january at around 7:00 pm i ordered fried chicken from a restaurant who charged me 192 after adding coupon, i was expecting fried chicken, but they sent some kind of gravy and there were only 4 small pieces, i contact support a person called nisha didn't even try helping me and give me a resolution, i asked for return or refund. Please assist me zomato i am a frequent orderer from zomato.

                        I was did order my food from chaska restaurant and delivery boy was not moving from last 15 min from restaurant when my order was ready. When my order was ready so why he was not moving from restaurant. I want my full refund. When i check on map ur reply was we delivered food on 2.05pm surely then after 5 min we reply me same we delivered food on 2.20pm why u taking so much time to delivered food. When food was ready.

                          Hello i have a restaurant registered on zomato..

                          Whenever zomato does not have riders available in any area they close the restaurant for ordering but on the their app they show that restaurant is closed for ordering or not accepting orders instead of showing that riders are currently not available... They dont want to bring a bad name to themselves but simultaneously are brining a bad name to the restaurants

                          Further it could be their trick to slowly change the consumer’s behaviour so that their customers may probably shift ordering from their own cloud kitchens

                            I ordered today food and opt option ontime or free. But after reaching set time received call from zomato that address mentioned is not true. although Zomato already delivered earlier on this address( u can check from history) Now they are saying that money will not be refunded as food was prepared by restaurant. Then what is my Mistake as i am neither getting food nor refund money. Zomato is only expoiting its customer. totally useless

                              Due to system error. There were two order booked in zomato and payment deducted twice from my account. I cancelled one of the order and received the other one. But i didn't have any refund status yet. The zamato pepole are not responding properly and dening for refund. Please i need my money back. I didn't received my order.when i complain to the customer care they said money will be refunded within 4-5 days but its been 17 days i didn't get any money when i call to custom support they say due to some technical issues it's stuck but it's been 18 days since i ordered the food.

                                I have ordered a malai kofta, 2stuffed naan and a gajar halwa and paid total amount of rs. 338.0 via online transaction. But the delivery boy didn't come to the mentioned address and the restaurant then cancelled my order mentioning that the provided address was wrong.
                                Then i contacted to the zomato executive support and they made sure if the address mentioned was right and it was absolutely correct to my knowledge.
                                It's been 6 days i'm requesting for the refund as the order we're cancelled by their side but no fruitful response is there. I would expect them to pay back the money as they cancelled the order by mentioning wrong reason which i don't agree neither the facts.

                                  I ordered paratha meal from eat. Fit with zomato and it was cash on delivery and paid 10 rupees extra for opt on option!! It was clearly showing in app if i won't get the food within 33 minutes the meal is free..

                                  I ordered on 12:35 pm, the delivery person came at delivery at 1:18pm.. So i declined to pickup.. The deliver boy called to the customer care and told the whole matter to zomato care but they told i should receive the order and pay else order will be cancelled.. They can't give me meal

                                  I waited almost 43 minutes and they cancelled it.. I need the refund of 350 rupees.. They are looting in the name of on time delivery be aware

Quality very low and cancel the order with in 5 min our amount have been not refunded, and there is no customer support cal centre to report the issue. The person who chats they are telling there is no option to refund the amount. This is the way how zomato looting peopls hard earned money.. I want to my amount should be refunded.

                                      I ordered 2 items on 8th january 2020, the restaurant did not have one of the items and hence they said that they cannot partially cancel the order and requessted me to cancel the order and order only that is available again. Which i did.
                                      Eince 8th january 2020 i have been following up with zomato chat and have been given false promise of refund everyday. And now on 16th january 2020 after 8 days the agent on chat straight away said that zomato will not refund my money because i cancelled the oder. Whereas the status of the order is rejected and not cancelled.
                                      After being given fake promises from zomato for 7 days they are now not refunding my money.
                                      This is the way zomato makes money by cheating and looting people.
                                      They are pathetic. Please take legal action against zomato.

                                        I have placed subjected order at 8:19 pm and opt on time delivery using respective payment of rs 10. I was promised to deliver order at 8:55 pm but when i make a call at 8:55 the valet was not nearby me. He reached at my destination late than proposed time and till then my food got expired. That was totally waste for any human. But neither zomato pay attention on my food nor they provide my delay promo code worth rs 200. I have mailed the same content to zomato but they deliberately denied to give me compensation for this late order as they promised me before placing order. Please see attached snapshot of email content and late order proof for reference.

                                        Please have a look into this seriously. Its anot only me zomato behaving like that way, there are number of people suffering from this arbitrary nature of zomato.

                                        Please help me to get my money back.
