Ordered food using zomato app-[protected]. But, the order gets rejected. So when i asked the customer executive, he says i didnt respond and i wont get the refund as it could effect delivery guy expenses. I never got the call and imagine if the order was big. Please find the attached response from zomato executive guy.

Will the cost of food equal to delivery guy petrol cost?...

Just wanted to share this issue and don't whether this is happening with me only and it has happened with others as well. Today i placed an order at 11.40 and order is confirmed as well by the resturant and the expected time was 30 that mean 12.10 but still didn't get the orders. I tried several times to call zomato valet but he is not picking the call and i pinged someone from customer care executive but didn't get any respnse. So overall...

I ordered food from ravi chinese in my local area.
Then i made online payment for that order at around 11.30 at night. The order was expected to be delivered at 12.02. But the order was cancelled. They said that i changed the address of the order and the food is prepared we cannot refund.

I have ordered food from a restaurant in Banglore and the delivery address was not correct so I cancelled the order after placing it and the money got deducted. I didnt receive my order and valet number was switched off.

I tried many times. App was showing the Valet at one place, tracking from 4 hrs.

Valet did not came near the location and did not try to contact me even once.

I paid money and didnt receive food.

I have ordered food from one of the restaurant in my city through zomato. The zomato valley that delivered the food delivered it in a very bad condition because of his fault of mishandling due to which the delivered food was not ate able. I placed order for 10 chapathis from hotel kolhapuri & had opted for home delivery option. However, the hotel owner said that is is for self pickup. So i cancelled the order. I had asked for a refund of 140 rs now.

The reply i got from zomato was :

I am working in zomato as a runner partner for past 7 months... Before 2months back, zomato treats runner partners equally and spilit the orders equally. I am happy with zomato.

My order was delayed but zomato refused to refund amount saying it's just 9 min delay. What's use of promise if it's not kept.in ad they show if it's not in time it's free n now they say it's not in policy. Plz give some respect to time. 9 min is much more late.

I had ordered 4 burger from Burger King using Zomato. The rider went to some other location and said its not deliverable because of gps issue. I asked them for a refund but they declined to give me. I have order food item from zomato on 08/12/2019 having order id-[protected]. The food was stale and bad in quality.

I communicate the said fact about food item to zomato via support system, where they asked me to communicate the same on zomato's registered mail id.

After that, i mailed the said facts on 08/12/2019. The ticket id is 2341898 for grievance of stale food and asked for refund.
