Placed an order with al bek restuarant through zomato. And after one hour of waiting for delivery, i am getting to know that the order is declined and the refund can also be not processed.

I got to know on contacting at your customer service that refund is not processed as my phone was not reachable.

Since i had already provided proper address with the room no., i dont see it as a valid reason for order been cancelled.

    Yesterday i have booked some food items from zomato from the vendor tea post. The order got confirmed. But after some time the shop informed me that the zomato delivery boy has cancelled the order. I got surprised at this instance.

    You are requested to look in this and take appropriate action in this regard.

    And how the said order is showing delivered in the status.
    Please look into your systems and issue

      Hi zomato,

      Hoe you doing well and wealthy.

      This is ramana reddy, registered mail id :[protected]@gmail.com, no:[protected],. Orderno [protected]

      I don’t have any regret to say this “ i am cheated by you like anything”. It’s not your mistake, it’s mine to trust you and install your app hence i have to penalize badly and i did.

      Scenario : i order on zomoto on 30th nov around 11 pm, 1 family biryani worth of 380rs for 4 members. After 35 min your delivery boy brings me a small biryani who even cant eat 1 person.

      I ignore to take it as it is not my order, my order for 4 members, i can’t took. With in a minute the status as changed delivered. I called to delivery boy, he was not picked up.

      Immediately i went to your zomoto chat, i didn’t receive it, how can he change the order delivered, no ans from you end, they said issue will be highlighted and needful wiil be done.

      No ans from your end from last 1 week, i chated with you team 3 time, every time is same ans, but now they are saying it’ not in my hand, we have a separate team, they will resolve it.

      Now it’s the new way of answering the thing, i hope you trained them very well to cheat cust. Order no :[protected]

      Now i need some answers from you, i don’t think so you can resolve it so just give me answers for me.

      · what’s my mistake here to trust you?

      · how can you change the status has delivered without happen?

      · is 7 days took to speak with delivery boy, whether it delivered or not?

      · how you can you send single biryani instead of family pack at least you can’t compare worth?

      A small suggestion from my end : “instead of cheating cust please increase your charges o[censored]sage that’s better, if we love your service we will pay but cheating don’t not worthy “.

      Still i don’t understand will changing status will come under cheating or not?

        I was checking through app and prices and the order got confirmed with the order number: [protected]
        Immediately i left message to cancel the order in chat but was no response again i called customer care he was telling zomato don't have order cancel option he forced me to take that order. I told him i have other issue and i want to talk to you superior he denied and told they don't have superior also and he cant transfer the call. If you don't have order cancel option add that your app and help me with this order

            My reviews and photos that i am constantly uploading in their website is getting deleted. My user interface of their website has also changed. I have talked to other users, and nobody's user interface has changed. I emailed them and nobody responded. I am putting all these photos and they are mysteriously getting deleted, and neither can i get to reupload them later. As a result, all my points are getting decreased; and my level is also reducing. Do look into the matter please.

              I ordered a cake from zomato and after successful transaction i didn't get any order id. i didnt recieved my order yet. when i called that restrau the told me that tell me your order id now what should i do. I already did payment om my order. please help me wid this as soon as possible. And ya the customer care numbers available on your site are wrong numbers so how can we contact you people.

                I ordered from Zomato, it cancelled my 2 orders because the restraunts coudnt deliver the order and is not paying me refund of orders stating that the delivery person cancelled the order because he couldnt reach me. He talked to me and dint deliver. This is very unprofessional behaviour, i have screenshots of the chat and call details i can send you. This is not why we pay on zomato by paytm or other wallet apps. Plz revert back.

                  I had ordered food (Dominoes) via zomato of order number [protected] on 2nd december, 2018 of amount rs. 347.99. The ordered was cancelled by dominoes because of distance problem. The refund was said to be transferred in 48-72 hrs.
                  On 7th december, i had a talk with nikhil, manager of dominoes restaurant who said that my amount of rs 347.99 has been refunded to zomato on 3rd december, 2018 for which the reference no. [protected] and reference no.[protected].
                  The same was conveyed to zomato but it denies such refund and is not paying me back.
                  I want my refund back. All the transactions and payment (Paytm) were done through phone no. [protected].

                    I had ordered the food from YumYum Dilli restaurant located in Ghazipur via Zomato. As Zomato service is within 30-40 mins but that order made me suffer till 1 hour & 30 mins till I approached to the restaurant. There was no information regarding live tracking. They didn't provided me delivery boy name & no. When I called them they gave me Raju no. He didn't picked my call . Again I called they gave me another no. of Rohit . I called him 10 mins but he didn't picked the call . Then I reached to Zomato customer care but they were also helpless as restaurant was not picking their call.
                    After several argumentation they provided my food, which I didn't eat then as I managed to eat something else as it took so much time.

                    The food was cold. Jeera rice was having so much jeera in it that I was unable to taste the original taste of rice . The patisa which they gave in dessert was stale.

                    I didn't liked their food . In future I will never ever order from here

                      dominos said that the did not get payment from zomato.

                          For last few months I am using Zomato and give reviews to the restaurants. Today I ordered lunch from Dilli Darbar. Initially it was showing in app that the outlet is in Dilshad Garden which is my area. However after I made the online payment and check the map. It showing that its in Durgapuri, Shahdara, which is quite far from my place and will take minimum an hour for delivery. So I cancelled the delivery as I need it fast. However Zomato has deduct the whole amount as penalty for cancellation. I mean even top hotels won't do this. What kind of policy is this? Immediately I start chatting with them as they don't have customer care number. They want me to email the issue to [protected]@Zomato.com, which I did. However I told them that its a lunch time and I need to order something. They won't help. So I ordered from any other restaurant which is close to my place as COD. But the food was stinks and I have to dump the whole food. Now again I contact them for the issue. They took my money online and offline however didn't provide me food for the lunch. Kindly look into this matter and refund the money ASAP.

                          Today on 18th, May at 1’oclock i ordered food items of 202 Rs. and then i wanted some alteration and i no time i cancelled it so that i can make some changes but after cancelling my money was deducted from my account as so called penalty they say. I didn't receive any call or sms from them. It was around 1100 rupees I lost and they are calling it as penality. 100% deduction and how can name it as penality, don't they know the meaning if it. I mailed them, chat, spoke to the delivery boy and contacted to the restaurant(AKSON, HYDERABAD) as well. He did return that food and he ate that. It's very pathetic. SO PLEASE NO BODY DONT PAY THE AMOUNT UNTIL ITS REACHING YOU, EVEN NO SURE WHETHER YOU WILL RECEIVE THE ONE WHAT AFTER THAT DELIVERY BOY ATE.

                          I am Sahaya Teresa, I had ordered food from Vairamaligai through your app, the order was cancelled as
                          the delivery boy was unable to locate the address and he was not able to reach me on my phone.
                          Susequently i had called within 5 minutes of his last call but he refused to deliver stating the order
                          had been candelled and nothing can be done . I tried calling your call center at [protected];
                          [protected]; [protected] but nobody responded. I also tried calling the delivery boy for how to get this
                          rectififed but he said he is helpless. Could you please refund as i had already paid in full and my food
                          on top of it had not been delivered . This is very disappointing as all previous orders to this address
                          had been delivered without any hazzles. This looks to be a deliberate attempt by the person not to
                          deliver inspite of calling him back.

                          Hope you refund at the earliest.

                            A few days ago i ordered 2 sweet corn pizza from dom's pizza restraun. Cost of each pizza was 60 rupees. So total price i had to pay was 120. But i used the code eve40. Which would have granted me 40% cash back if i paid through paytm. I paid through paytm an i have not received the cash back. I tried to find the customer care number of zomato but i haven't got any information about it. I had even asked the zomato customer care (Via chat service of zomato) about when will i get the cash back in paytm, they said i will be getting it in 24 to 48 hours. I did not get any cash back and also don't have any means to contact the customer care. Please help

                              I had ordered food from zomato online food ordering app on 29th november 2018 at 9:52pm. The restaurant is captain toms. The order no is [protected]. I had paid online through paytm and i was billed rs724.5. When the food was delivered i found it packaged with swiggy tapes. This was shocking since i had ordered from zomato and i double checked. I was outraged since i had friends visiting and took photograph of the packaged food at that time. I put forward complaint at zomato chat. The agent on the chat agreed to their fault when i shared the photograph. I couldn't consume the food since there was no zomato packing. I continued venting my grievance with zomato agents but they were least concerned with my plight, ignored my responses and took such a serious issue casually. I literally kept pleading for 15-20 hrs on chat... It amounts to harassment. I have screenshots of all the chats at different timings. Also slept hungry since it was late. They had credited my zomato account with 100 rs and said that sometime such packaging issue is an unavoidable circumstance. Im highly disturbed by this unethical and callous treatment of the consumer. I want the money which i paid back and also want the concerned authority to levy a hefty penalty so that such a mistake is not repeated again and any genuine customer is not fooled.

                                Mne zamoto sy pizza book kiya tha.. Payment bhi online ki.. But kuch 20 minute baad call aya ki hm pizza delivery nhi krtey.. Aapko refund wapas mil jayega.. But refund bhi wapas nhi howa... Mera sawal ye hy jab order nhi lena tha tu app m fund ku liya gya.. Or jo restaurant service nhi de pa rha os sy tie-up ku.. Sir m chahta hu ki mera fund mujhey wapas mil jaye thqqq..

                                  I have placed an order with zomato at 11.30pm and waited for 1 hour than called customer but no one picked. Pinged on chat and they said they are returning the money i paid for the order at 1 am. So is this the way to treat your customers.
                                  Where would i order food from at 1 am. I have already paid the money in zomato now that's in zomato credit. Now if i order from somewhere else i have to pay again as zomato credit won't apply there. Can't believe zomato for the order now (So zomato credit won't be used)

                                  So basically i suffered for 2 hours in night and have to stay hungry for that time. On top of that i lost my money and piece of mind. Than the customer care guys said o am looking in to the issue but didn't respond at all.

                                    Today i ordered tandoori chicken bird mandi. order no is [protected] : I received only rice and tandoori . Without chutney and without bill. I called the zomato delivery guy and he said its the mistake of hotel owner. I called the hotel, they said its the mistake of zomato.
                                    Called all customer care numbers, to no avail.
                                    Feel rejected and support team also telling we cant delivery missing items, we are shareing your feedback with the restaurant and will ensure these issues will noy repeat again in future . Please call me for more details.

                                      I ordered from Dusk to Dawn restaurant in Hyderabad. Order ID: [protected]. The order was for Chilli Prawn. The food was stale and just boiled with veggies. Couldn't consume even a spoon.
                                      Raised a chat to get the item picked up for replacement/refund. The team constantly stated that they will take action. Nobody showed up.
                                      Not even the restaurant people called me regarding the matter.
                                      It's not about the money, it's about the responsibility. The amount charged was Rs.325 which I paid for the stale food, which is not acceptable at all.

                                        They give spoit & cold food & after complaining they neither give a replacement nor a refund.

                                        Horrible food & items missing from the combo. It is a waste of money & zomato people they are neither replacing the order nor refunding it.
