This is the second bad experience i faced today while ordering from zomato. I was promised in ur previous mail that i won't face any problem which i last faced on 11/9/17 on my daughter birthday and you guys promised to me that order for zomato with hastle free service and also credited rs 200 as compensation. I thought to give uall a second chance. But today it's proved u guys don't believe in customer service. Today when i ordered subway and when i had a chat with ritesh. I was really upset with his response and feedback what i received from him when my order received around one hour 30 minutes. I requested ritesh for refund of money paid. He said its againt policy. I m very sorry to say he started making weird excuse it's sunday and all. Let me tell u guys every sunday i order my dinner from restaurant and any restaurant i call they deliver to me in 30 minutes or max 45 mins or even if late max 1 hour. But when i ordered again today from zomato it was delivered to me more then one hour almost 90 minutes. Which really lost my appetite. I had paid money through credit card i had no option rather to take it as ritesh denied for refund and cancellation. Also to my surprise i been proved now u cannot trust zomato anymore as when i had a bad experience earlier inspire telling ritesh order is really late and inspire asking for full refund. He strickly denied against company policy. Very sorry to say u guys have against lost the trust and i would rate u 0 star. Worst customer service for ordering food. Will definitely share my experience with social media like facebook twitter, comsumer forum friends and relatives so that they too don't face such bad experience.

    Hello you have wrongly debited an amount of Rs. 2143 / from my ICICI bank account . We have not ordered yesterday 11.10.2017 it has been debited

      I placed a prepaid order at 22.53 on 23.09.2017 for delivery of food. The delivery time at the time of placing the order was showing as 45 minutes but after placing the order it was showing as 90 minutes. I raised the issue with zomato customer care service and they accepted that there was some issue with the expected delivery time and assured me that food will be delivered against my query whether the food will be delivered or not. However after inquiring about the delivery and their so called reply of keeping patience, the food could not deliver. When i raised the concern with them they simply come out with a solution and refunded the amount as zomato credit. Now when i said that i will lodge an f. I. R against them, they initiated refund to be credit in next 5-7 working days. Now my query is why they should not be penalised and why i should not be compensated for the suffering i went through. I had to sleep empty stomach because of their false commitment.

        I went to new market to hang out with one of my friends today. However, i went into moven pick for an ice cream served in cup, and it was not until i had nearly finished it that i had realised that there was a small black strand of hair sitting at the bottom of the cup. It wasn't very imusing as i have been here before and not once experienced this.

          I ordered veg spring rolls through zomato and they delivered chicken spring rolls. I am a pure vegetarian. I have a severe stomach ache and regular vomiting since. This not only leave me sick but also mentally disturbed. The service provider zomato has completely failed and at fault for this action.
          I have complete proof of zomato admitting there fault.

            Keeping all the rosy and comforting lines apart, let's get to the point! I i used zomato - you ought to take the responsibility and are answerable too.

            I ordered palak paneer & missi roti : i received shahi paneer (In lack of palak paneer) & a soggy undercooked mix veg. Paratha

            #1. How on earth a restaurant can deny upon calling them back to the same no. (+91 [protected]) they called from? If it's a wrong no., how they got to know my order, strange? Where on the first call he insists on changing the order in absence of what i ordered (Palak paneer) - check the order history. Is it a hoax? How come that restaurant never called me back? Why their contact no is not displayed on your page??

            #2. I wish if you could taste the # they sent: so called, shahi paneer was like a baby vomit with some frozen paneer. Paratha, which i never ordered looked like an old smelly rug! You definitely can make out what a missi roti looks like?? It was rancid and dismal.

            Would you pay for such dog #? No. No one will and should! How such # holes are on your portal? No, fitment or monitoring?

            Lastly, i was chatting with you guys for close to 3 hours. And no one bothered to call?? Please don't shoot with excuses. There were instances, where your team calls twice for same order delivery confirmation. I mean, is it needed? Utilize resources properly.

            *and in another episode on 24 aug - the food was over spicy and delivered cold. What did you do about it except chatting like with your gf/bf. Come on! Show some respect to customers. Put people who can act upon issues rather than chatting.

            What i need: complete refund + compensation for the mess i have been through, period

            We would request you to share the order with us so that we can get this checked from our end and provide you with a resolution at the earliest
            I placed my order at 4.10 and it showed the restaurant accepted it and at 5:35 they cancel the order. Upon complaining against their weird cancellation after 1.5 hours they send me a credit of 50 bugs as a token of apology.

            What kind of brand service is this?

              I have ordered food from a take-away restaurant called nutan in mumbai, sion area through zomato app. During checkout it had said that (Get 15% cashback with mobikwik) for which i have saved a screenshot as this happened twice in a row.

              They never give the cashback after 48 hours. After registering complaints several times, the first time they did however post the second order, they never gave it. It has been 13 days and still not credited in the account for which zomato is taking no accountability. I have wrote to them several times in the chat support and all they say is the matter is escallated and will get back to us which they never do, of course to no suprise.

              They never share a complaint id even after requesting multiple times. I have called their contact center for customer support and recorded the call where they said it'll be resolved and its been 3 days since, no solution to it.

              I feel both zomato and mobikwik has been duping their consumers heavily by doing this as i am sure i am not the only one who have faced this issue.

              Request to look into this. Hand to god i really wanna sue them. It is not about just the money but the false pretext they lure the customers and cheat them and that violates several ethical and humanitarian issue. More so people's time and energy and one can't put a price on that.

                Hi, on sept 16 2017 between 3am till 4:30 am i have placed an order for food with happy beings's restaurant.. The food was tasteless completely so i contacted the customer service chat agent mr. Manjeet and he refused to refund. It will be of great help if you look in to this matter and help me to get a refund. I stay in gurgaon. I have placed order previously with the same restaurant ant each time the food is rubbish... Need your help to...

                I've had the worst experience ever with Zomato.Order Number: 36114815

                This is the order I placed on this website. I waited for almost 2 hours and have still not recieved any food. Prepaid the amount and it was really embarrassing. It was for guests and the shop was right across the street and I was too engaged to other wise go and buy it myself
                Because I trust the service in zomato and wanted to speeden the process up I even prepaid the amount.
                However after 2 hours I called the zomato customer and kept asking them to cancel as the guests left and the food would be useless for me. However they still kept insisting the food would still take another 20 mins but it took longer than that.

                However you guys kept refusing my request to cancel and made me regret my decision of pre payment. Instead you have me some complimentary amount for my next order but I dont need that at all. After this incident I doubt I'll be ordering from Zomato again

                Please do something to improve your system and refund my money. I wish to cancel this order

                Threw the food in the trash since there was no one left to eat it and Zomato kept refusing my request to cancel it over and over again before delivary

                This is bullying and haressing a customer by not listening to their demand after taking so long to deliver food.

                After 2 hours when I called you still took 30 mins to deliver but refused to cancel my order. I was being punished for showing my trust and giving you the payment by expecting thatdelivary will be done within the time shown on zomato which is 45 mins

                  On 20th aug, 17; i ordered from pizza hut through zomato at 12.30pm. Order was confirmed by pizza hut and it was notified that it will take half hour for the delivery.
                  However, the order didn't come till 1.30 and i contacted zomato support. Within 15 mins they said that the order was delivered. I insisted that it wasn't the case. I called the restaurant and got confirmation that my order has been cancelled which was neither updated in zomato nor was it informed to me via call or message.
                  Zomato customer care told that they are trying to contact the restaurant but all efforts are in vain. However after one hour and 45 mins, they said they could get hold of the restaurant and they will call me. I got the call but it seems they were contacting some other restaurant. I told the same thing to zomato and asked them to contact the right restaurant. But still they insisted that my delivery is complete. After calling the restaurant to and fro, finally my order was cancelled. I am still awaiting the refund though.
                  I am swearing to never order from zomato. It's a headache. The service is poor and ridiculously slow.

                    I have ordered food in zomato, i got my food but it was rotten, i told them and they contacted restaurant and finally they simply said we are apologising for that, we can feedback this to the restaurant it won't happen again.

                    But i told it was not fair you got money and i got spoiled food, i asked refund, they told we could not refund your money.

                    It was happened many times for me and my friends, they are selling rotten foods and making money, and made everyone as a fool.
                    Zomato thugs their customers in the name of packing charges. i have noticed one thing while ordering from zomato, for two small-medium sized containers they have charged me 28 INR. the cost of packing increases even when you increase the quantity of rotis also they have tagged this packing charge as TAX.
                    I have also had bad luck with zomato. THeir customer service is horrendous. Just after 30 seconds they confirm your order and within 1 minute your food gets prepared according to their app when in all actuality it doesn't. But if you change your mind or try to cancel your delivery they won't refund your money back.

                    Also there were times when I received rotten food and they did not refund my money back.

                    With customer service life this, I wonder why people still use zomato. I had a similar experience with UberEats and they simply refunded my money back no questions asked.

                      I have been having problem since my first order with zomato. My order which was delivered the food quality was poor hence when i complaint about the same the agent from customer service used profanity on the call and disconnected the call. Hence when i complaint against the agent zomato apologised but no action was taken against the agent and stated that they will improve the service. And since then every single order which i placed have caused me inconvinience. I have been treated like begger by zomato and every one from zomato was rude withe me and i had to call multiple time just to get my own money back. Today when i called just to know what is the outcome for my complaint the agent stated that they have taken it as feedback but they cannot compensate me for the time wasted, money wasted and for the way they have behaved with me and abussed me on the call. I am really not happy with zomato and want to take serious action on zomato.

                        I ordered from nizams kolkata.. The scheduled time of delivery was 8.23pm... Even after 1 hour i was waiting for delivery... Meantime the delivery boy called 10 times, each time instructing him of direction of my house... He never came.. By the end of it i was calling him and he stopped answering my calls.. I called zomato support.. First 2 times they said they will check and call me back.. Noone called me back and finally they stopped answering as well... My money and time was wasted
                        This company has the worst customer service ever, all they have to offer is a hollow apology and u should be grateful if can get a refund, worst part nothing much u can do.

                          I had ordered from crunch pizza last night and my payment was deducted. I wanted to confirm the order again so i directly called up the restaurant and asked wether they had received any order from me and the restaurant guy was like no sir we haven't received anything by the way we are closed. But my order showed 140mins. That minute i texted zomato customer support and all they told me was to give them a days time to contact the restaurant and get back with me about the issue it seems. Bloody i'm complaining because i haven't received the food but charged for it and why will it take a days time to contact the restaurant! Order id is 30752302

                            I order in ck's bakery in zomato and they delivered the rotten puff, when i informed the zomato people with pics, they said we cant able to refund the amount instead we will improve ourselves by not repeating this incident. They need our money improve their job. They get the share from restaurants. They need to invest to learn and not from customer money.

                            Below are the word from zomato

                            To make things even better, we have taken a number of measures to ensure that this error and similar mistakes do not happen again in the future.

                              Hi,

                              Yesterday night at 9:12 i ordered food from chaitanya through zomato (Which is hardley 2 kms from my place).

                              After i placed the order i got message from zomato that food will be delivered at 11:34 pm. I thought maybe because of rain, delivery will be delayed.
                              At 11:41 pm when there was no delivery, i reached out to zomato customer support, who said that food has been picked up and despatched.

                              At 11:51 pm when there was no delivery, i reached out again to zomato customer support. Now they gave me a different story. They mentioned that restaurant is not reachable and they dont know the status.

                              I kept following up with them till 12:30, without having food. The parcel was never delivered. Later zomato support mentioned that they will credit my money (Rs 1343.43). Today morning i get an sms that they have credited as zomato points.

                              Btw @ 01:00 am when i checked status of the order, i am socked to see chaitanya showing the status as delivered, when i didnot get the parcel still.

                              After the plight yesterday, i dont want to use zomato again and i also dont want zomato points. I simply want my money back which had been deposited through netbanking to their account.

                              Also i would like to file a complaint on the callous attitude shown to deliver food product (When this is their buisness)
                              They are the slowest delivery ever .
                              I received my order after 3 hours. And got no support from tomato till now. Already being 30 days

                                Today i ordered from subway via zomato around 9:00 pm. Ok...?? Now i got my order around 10:30 pm and one sub was missing from it (I. E chicken tandoori sub). I was kept trying subway's contact number and guess what, no answer. Then i tried zomato support (Rahul and kanika). They were very rude giving me confirmation that order will come in 5 mins. Still hasn't come yet. Please look for it.

                                  The health and hygiene of the restaurant was pathetic. I and my wife went for lunch today ie 15 jul 17 and ordered for soups... First time the soup was brought and i could find a small piece of rubber band... Showed it to the staff... He withdrew the bowls of soups and told that he will change it... So nice of him but when he did bring the next round of soup... My wife could discover piece of curly hair nicely wound to a chicken piece in the soup... And that hair was not for sure from the head... That time we could not dare to ask for any other food but to leave the great xian restaurant disgusted, disgruntled and hungry at around 1500 hrs in the afternoon yet to have our lunch. Your site has a great review as well as recommendation for the restaurant... I request that you should review this seriously...

                                    I had order the food exactly at 8:35pm and right now it is 10:38pm and i still haven't received my food. The restaurant is also not contactable and when i asked the zomato support, they made me wait for it and i still am waiting. I still haven't got any eta on the delivery and the zomato chat support is not even willing to share that with me even after asking him numerous times.

                                      Non refund of money deducted for unsuccessful transaction

                                      Will like to advise all to refrain from using zomato based on my personal experience. I have been chasing it for refund of money deducted from credit card in respect of a failed transaction since 28 may 2017. Had got a confirmation on 30 may 2017 that refund has been processed and it should get reflected in next 2-7 days. However, on taking-up with the customer care, no satisfactory response has been there till now. Last response on 07 july...
