Ordered food through zomato. Delivery was delayed and inspire of it food was cold. They are being food in open hand and not sure where are the places they kept in bike. Even small delivery company bring food in box safely and avoid unhealthy ways. Two guys came to delivery and i have to decline since food was cold.

Had tough time to make chat support agent to understand the issue. They just provide copy paste answer.

Same experience had yesterday and tejas from customer care called apologising and promising this will not happen. Zomato is worst service

    Hi, i have ordered a boneless chicken biriyani from 9 grill hotel. It was a prepaid order. Two boys came for delivery. While delivering they didn't give the bill with the order. So i returned the order and asked customer care for the refund. Now zomato support is telling that delivery boy has delivered the order and we can't refund. They have cheated me and didn't refund at all. And also they disabled support window for me. They have arranged a telephone conversation with the delivery boy now the delivery boy said i came alone and delivered the order. First of all, they don't have any billing system and there is no proof of delivery. They took my money and cheated.

    I placed an order today, the didn't received the order . After checking through the Zomato chat support they say the order has been delivered. I tried calling the delivery executive but he didn't answer my calls. After some time even the chat support stopped responding.

    Happening with me probably now. I'm yet to get my food. It has been 2 hours. Chat support is also not responding. Disgusting Zomato. Even I've a gold membership. I think I have been cheated by Zomato. They just looted my money.
    On 7th October 2018, the order was placed accidentally. Seems to be Zomato app behaving weirdly. Charged full amount via PAYTM . When contacted the restaurant and Zomato both says order cannot be cancelled but order not received yet.. and the app says delivered...don't know who is responsible and enjoying?

    I called up the rider but his mobile was switched off.

    I contacted the customer care chat but got no help, they told the rider has switched off his mobile

      Ordered from zomato at 2:00 am, from a restaurant called sethi's, but didnt receive any update from your end even after 1 hour of promised time. No response as well, no correspondence from either zomato or the restaurant, and above all no sense of apology from either of the parties - not picking up calls neither replying back to my queries. Definitely not ordering from zomato again

        I have ordered food in kfc through zomato. After placing the order there is no action taken from zomato side and restaurant canceled the order. There is no proper reason given by zomato for this. More over the order time was 10 o clk, zomato took more than 45 mins to give a reply back. Due to that i can't place next order and after 11o clk all restaurants closed. Due to zomato, i am starving today without dinner. Please take proper action. My order id is kfc order id #15092474

          misleading app support and marketing strategies

          I had placed a order on Zomato, the delivery time while placing the order was 45 minutes and a even had the audacity to charge a 20rs delivery fee. As soon as the order was placed the delivery time was increased to 90 minutes. Who waits for food for 90 minutes, Zomato? Why do you even have plans to deliver from such restaurants?
          And over and above that, the chat support guy tells me to wait for 20 mins even on repeated questioning...

          Placed the order and got the food after 2 and half hours.. When i complained on twitter and fb.. You guys didnt even bother.. I need a compensation.. This is one of the most pathetic service i have ever got.. Seriously!!!

          Zomato has literally made a fool out of me when i called the delivery guy.. He dont even have thr courtesy to pickup the call.. When i called tje fourth time the number is busy.. When i call the fifth time the phone rings but no answer.. Finally after 15minutes he returns the call,, asks who is it and i explain what am i trying to get.. He complains about restaurant and asks to call restaurant.
          When i called restaurant, they said the delivery guys has gone from here to meet his friend and denied to take food... Seriously this is such a pathetic customer handling. I did connect with zomato customer they dodnt even respond timely.. We have to wait atleast few minutes for them to reply to us for each msg.

            We have ordered 3 items from rolls mania viman nagar through using zomato app but the delivery person come without the shake which we have paid for.. And zomato care person already had a word with rolls mania manager name vijay said very clearly that he dose not have shake available but still why the zomato person said that u can send the order without the shake we will speak to the guest but i have not spoken with anyone regarding the same,, i want to know why this kind o[censored]seless service your giving to the consumers. And the delivery person is not bother at all. Because of this nonsense things of zomato staff i am sleeping without food. Very poor and pathetic service.

              I have made an order through zomato on 5th mar 2018 and the payment was made and the refund was not provide. The order was accepted and no notification was sent for the issue which is going to happen. One of the customer service agent named harshita was very rude and was not providing any consideration even if the issue was wit them

              Need compensation of wastage of money and time

                Today 2nd of feb 2018 on 9:30pm i order a pizza from dominos on zomato app and i have already paid the money. Till now i didn't receive my order nor anyone picked my call also the chat option of zomato app was not responding. My order number and i'd is attached within in image plz look into the matter. Plz return the money via pathname on [protected] or deliver as soon as possible. Really very disappointed.

                  I had order from ovenstory pizza for a bogo, seems like the food still is in their kitchen and seems like they are preparing it for 1.5 hours and so on. Now, i have to leave and as it isis of no use to me. I want my money back doesn't matter whether you deliver or not.

                      On[protected] i ordered food through zomato from dindugal thalappakatti, ramapuramat 8pm for rs.610.32. I didint receive any calls or infoemation after that. My cash got debited from account. So i called hotel and enquired abput it. They dont have any information

                      First time i tried to pay Rs.270 but app showed payment incomplete but money was deducted...once again i repaied and order got confirmed and got delivery...but money was deducted 2 times...pls send tat money back of Rs.270
                      2times money cut than call me delivery boy not available and I'm say my money return but 5days going not come to money my account.

                        I had placed an order from a local pizzeria mojo pizza - doubly loaded prabhadevi mumbai.
                        I received confirmation that the order was received. However after 35 min the order was rejected stating deliver not possible in sub zone.

                        My issue is why was the order possible for that pizzeria if its not completely in the delivery range.
                        Secondly why was the order not cancelled immediately.

                          zomato customer care

                          I ordered veg frankie and some other stuff from zomato. However was delivered non-veg frankie, As we are vegetarians, we asked it to be replaced. The zomato support was cooperative initially, but after i told them to try again and check with restaurent, as the restaurent told us they had no issue replacing. The zomato customer care person hanged up on me, and has stopped replying

                          This is completely unprofessional behaviour....

                          I placed order through zomato i got confirmation of the order.
                          Restaurant ‘moti mahal’ called me that it’s been 30 mins your food is ready but zomato delivery guy didn’t come.
                          And nobody is responding to them.

                          So i called on zomato helpline number some guy picked he told me to hold and wait.
                          I called them again they put me on hold and didn’t pick my calls.
                          Zomato is such a big organisation and why did they send me confirmation if they didn’t have delivery guys and customer care was so not helpful.
                          They put me on hold for 15 mins and never responded back.

                            Placed an order in kanti sweets an amount of rs.405. Order no in zomato is [protected]. Payment was made through online net banking hdfc and payment reference no is[protected]. While making the payment amount was deducted from my account, but in zomato app it was showing payment incomplete. Immediately i did chatting with zomato customer executive, they told it was mistake in payment gateway and amount will get refunded. Still now the amount is not credited. I want a proper answer when i will get my amount back. Food was not delivered.

                              On 20 feb 2018, order 8 subways and 3 cokes on zomato, received called from subway yerwada saying we are out of cokes and hence can deliver ice tea instead of coke. When food was delieverd, dint get the bill, upon calling them and asking what about the bill, they said because bill is mismatched because of ordering coke on zomato and getting ice tea on delivery.
                              How to get the billl now?

                                The customer service people at zomato are of the view they don't owe anything for a delayed delivery by their partner restaurant even if the restaurant promises an on time delivery or cashback.
                                The partner restaurant offered a 45min delivery timeline and we ordered from there because we needed food on time. The order was delivered more than an hour later and then the zomato customer support instead of helping me get the delayed delivery compensation told me that they will share the feedback with the restaurant and no compensation is possible also there is no timeline that when will the restaurant respond. Such is their customer service

                                  Placed an order via order id#[protected].
                                  The app adverised the dish - macher matha diye dal as vegetarian. Ordered this for a vegetarian friend who consumed it to realise that it was non vegetarian.
                                  Called the restaurant, who said that the dish had always been non vegetarian and it was zomato's fault to advertise it as vegetarian.
                                  The entire episode ended up hurting the religious sentiments of my friend.
                                  To add, their chat team and customer services are pathetic..

                                    Order no 2144889 i know it's really akward but this order never got delivered. This order was placed in the initial days when zomato delivery just started and the chat facility or any other medium of complaint was not available. The restaurant literally denied delivery and my money was not refunded. Could not complain earlier as was not aware if this medium.
