This is regarding the issue I have faced with my recent order number: [protected] I had an issue with my phone due to which my calls where showing unreachable, however, I was right at my location even before the delivery partner vivek could arrive, I waved at the delivery partner Vivek who ignored twice later he may have called the zomato team and they would have also tried calling me.
This delivery partner vivek met me and denied to give me my order as he had already got the order cancelled stating my number was unresponsive this is absolutely a blunder he denied to handover my order to me even when I was in front of him, he turned his bike on and started moving later when I escalated this issue to the zomato helpdesk I was routed via chat where Kanak tried handlingmy issues, however, she did make a conference calland heard the whole conversation where the delivery partner Vivek initially lied stating he did not meet the customer at all and afterasking him back he confirmed that he met me and did not deliver the order as it was already cancelled this is something I dont accept firstly these fools did not come to the location I had he was standing 200 meters away from my location which was on the app he was standing in a place where the roads are full of stones afterI met him he turned his bike and just ran away.
Kanak then told me that she would need more time to investigate and then she had denied to assist me further and just kept on telling sorry for the inconvenience and she had also denied to refund my orderor replace my order nor she was able to escalate my issue to her manager even after asking her multiple times, its not fair that you make us pay our hard earned money and then your delivery partners thieves decide them to steal away simply by using tricks like standing far from location and then running away when asked to handover orders.
Kindly investigate and terminate that unprofessional uneducated foolish delivery partner vivek from his services and do issue a refund for my order and also want an action against kanika too who was unable to escalate the issue, need confirmation on each issues that I have raised
