I placed an with Uppu Munchi restaurant at 03:04 PM, order no 23855262. The status of the order says confirmed. Few minutes later i receive a call from Uppu Munchi saying they cannot process my order because it is too late. I inform Zomato support thorough chat to cancel the order. Simultaneously I place an order to Venus Restaurant, order number 23856268 at 3:12 PM.
While Zomato support was cancelling order from Uppu Munchi, they cancelled even my order from Venus Restaurant. I never told them to cancel order from Venus Restaurant.
I click on RE-ORDER an place another order in Venus Restaurant, Order number 23857936 at 03:27 pm. The order status said confirmed. The details said the order will be delivered by 4:13 PM. I waited till 4:30 pm. Gave a call to the restaurant, they said Zomato never informed them about the second order.
First they cancel an order when I did not tell them to. Then upon re-ordering they do not inform the restaurant of the reorder request. My order status says confirmed but the restaurant has not received any order request.
From 3:00 PM till 05:45 PM on 07/05/2017 I am trying to deal with the issue without any food delivered to me. No Zomato support whether the chat or the customer care number is helpful. Very disappointed with their service.
