My date of booking the car was 15 November I have booked a figo which I did not use as I was told that the person who will be driving the car should only book the car which I was not knowing initially. And I was not the one who was about to drive. My friend was the one.So I asked them a way out and customer care told me to not take the car and you will get full refund as in the system if i will cancel then half the amount will be deducted. I did the same and did not go to pick the car. Later on they refunded only the amount 5000 and considered that I have used the car. But after lot of calls and follow up of 1 month. They are saying that they have refunded 420 more which is for cancelled car. But still they are not willing to give full amount i. e. 5840 back which I should be getting as I have just done whatever there customer care representative said. I have been following them since one and a half month. They are just transfering my calls. And updating wrong comments that I am not picking up their calls and cancelling them. Highly irritated. Someone please resolve the issue.

    I had booked a Mahindra Scorpio from your company on 18th Nov (Booking id: JPS6VOF4U) for 25th Dec. Everything was fine until today when from nowhere, I got a call saying that the booking will have to be cancelled. And the reason given can easily be the most vague one, I was told that the Scorpio which I booked was damaged in some accident !! I mean how do you guys know which Scorpio I booked ??? Next I was told that I will have to cancel the booking which I made more than a month ago. What is the purpose of allowing to book early when you have to fool your customers and cancel their bookings. Moreover, the alternative I was given was utterly drastic. I would be provided a Xylo but with a driver. From where do drivers come in between while dealing with Zoomcar ? This is something which completely ruins our plan. Let me tell you straight away Need a car without driver which is the actual trademark of Zoomcar and they are calling me jsut before 2 days of trip. this is ridiculous

    Same as above. Booking ref no JPS6VOXOS, booked on 18th Nov, xuv 500, and got a call that the booking has been cancelled due to the car being damaged. Your call centre is busy from yesterday???????? At least 50 calls unanswered. Option given driver with car?????
    Need to be resolved without excuses. You are not a small roadside company and hence a similar behaviour is unexpected.
    Revert ASAP.

        I have booked the zoomcar in Pune on 13 Nov 2015 between[protected]hrs, which was not confirmed by Zoomcar side. Amount is transferred to Zoomcar was Rs.5560/-. on the same day / time. They could not provide the service to me.. On every call regarding this matter I got the assurance that the amount will be reverted within 3-4 days.But its credited my account till tooday.           With reference to Booking ID: JPS6VK93Q, the booking was cancelled 24 hrs before the travel and the balance amount Rs.18, 590[Rs 18, 790(booking amount)-Rs. 200(cancellation charges)]is still not transferred to my account. Its been more than a weeks time that its cancelled. I have been calling the customer care guys almost all days and they have been giving false promises of transferring the money. This was my first booking on Zoom Car and the service was BAD. There were 2 complaints registered and even after that no action was taken. I want my money back as soon as possible.

            Hi, My name is Venkatagiri, I am from Chennai. I tried to book a Zoom Car [Honda Amaze] in Chennai on 5th of December by paying the booking amount of 17460 Rs.But my booking was cancelled by Zoom Car as they were unable to deliver the car due to the floods. The refund has not been paid and its already 12 days. Please be careful while booking with Zoomcar.

                Booking ID - JPS6VOI5. Booked a car and returned it on time. Upon inspection the zoom car guy told no damages I would be refunded 6000 Rs( 5000 security and 1000 for fuel). After that just receive 1000 back and it says 5000 have been deducted due to damages. What damages exactly no mention. I call the customer care and ask them to provide the checklists before and after the booking to confirm what the damage was and it seems they don't have any records. They have been giving the same reply that they need to check with the field executive for 5 days straight and some how the concerned guy is not reachable.The issue is still open. They didn't mention any damage upon return of the car and haven't shown any proof in multiple exchanges upon phone so far.                   I have booked a car for 29th November usage, on my fathers name using his DL. But due to his severe illness, i had to cancel it on 28th night. I had paid 5000+1890=6890/- for the car through my card. I wanted home drop and pickup, so i was told i will be charged 300/- by cash when the person comes for drop. Before cancelling i called helpline, and i was informed i will be charged 645/- out of the amount of 6890/-. And that they would refund 6245/-/ But eventually i am sent a notification that i have been charged 945/-(645/- + 300/- pickup drop charges) and a balance of 5945/- will be refunded. Firstly, i pleaded several times that they do not deduct anything, they did not accept, fine. Secondly, i requested if the amount of 645/- can be adjusted in my next booking, they did not agree, pity. Thirdly, deducting the pickup drop charges of 300/- when the service itself has not been used ???? Shocking and blunt cheating. And fourthly, i have written multiple times to refund department, helpline, booking department. They do not even have the courtesy to reply back since the last 4 days. Whereas when a booking is done, we get immediate calls pronto. I now decide, if this case is not solved immediately, and if i do not get a relief from this, i am going to sue Zoom Car. I am going to the consumer forum. I will wait for 1 day.

                    Hi,

                    I have booked a zoomcar from Bellandur Novotel, Bangalore at 11PM on 11/21 after driving just 34 Kms without ac or music system the battery went down. The car was a pretty old one 91.5K Kms in odometer with very bad condition of clutch and accelerator.

                    I got stranded on a deserted road in midnight. I called zoomcar support they assured me help is on the way. After waiting for 45 mins there, I repeatedly called the customer care and finally got the fleet service contact. To my surprise he has refused to come help me even though he is located jut 7Kms away. I had to contact the call center again and after 1hour 30 minutes finally the fleet service arrive but they did not even bring a jumper cable to start the car. Finally after waiting for hours I had to cancel my plans and go back home.

                    The resolution zoomcar has provided me is that they will refund the unused kms. I just want to ask if this is the kind of service they has to offer in emergency conditions.

                      Hi, My name is Siddharth Singh, I am from Pune. I tried to book a Zoom Car [Suzuki Swift] in Pune on 5th of November by paying the booking amount of 1540 Rs.But my booking was cancelled by Zoom Car Reason they mentioned : My driving license was blacklisted . So I asked my friend to book the car from his ID and license, which he tried, paid and amount of 1900 Rs but this time also Zoom Car rejected the license saying that it is not visibly clear. But the DL photo was crystal clear. So both the time the booking was cancelled. But till now, after 15-18 days my refund has not been processed. I have tried their helpline numbers and mailed them numerous times but everytime they say- refund will be processed in 2 working days. And today I got a mail saying. Refund will be processed in 15 days. My suggestion to everyone, People be careful while booking cars from Zoom Car.

                        I booked a ride on 18th and uploaded the DL copy after an hour. On 19th morning 2AM i got a message saying system has rejected the DL copy and the booking has been cancelled. After calling the customer care, instead of re-initiating the ride, they are offering 500Rs free cash. Even after all this now they are saying the money won't be credited in my account but will be paid as Citrus cash that too after 15 days!

                        Zoom guys called me and gave me the 50% offer and thank you guys. I just want to say this to the reader. These companies will again do the same thing and unless you shout like crazy the matter won't get resolved. I really hope i don't have to come here and post another complaint.

                          HI, i booked a zoom car through Zoom car App on 10th October(request No JPS6VJHB9) and CASE ID 29581 and same day within an hour of booking, booking had cancelled because of driving licence problem. I called to zoom cars customer service about cancellation and deposit amount refund.they told me that refunded will be happen within 7 working days but still i didn't get any refund amount. i called four times and sent mails so many times to customer service centers of zoom cars but they didn't respond properly. Please file a case against zoom cars...

                          we spoken on 6th Nov 2015 regarding the compliant over call with zoom-car support team(mobile no. [protected] ) and they asked to forward to one more email(feedback.[protected]@zoomcar.com) and same was received as per the support team and they were supposed to be process the refund process on the same day and supposed to get the refund amount into my account by max. by Tuesday(10-Nov-2015) but the same is not refunded.
                          moreover they are sending mails again and again for bank account details which is no use.
                          attaching the email and if required i will attached the call recording details.

                          please help me to file a case against Zoomcars.

                              Booking ID - JPS6VIS6C. Paid Zoomcar 7400/- on[protected]/- Refundable). Made a complaint at Zoom Car, twice. (CASE 24451 and CASE 27514). Still awaiting refund of 2600/- out of 5000/-(2400/- refunded). No positive response from Zoom Car to my query.                                 Booking Id: jps6vjteh. We had booked a car through Zoomcar in banglore n it broke down after 30kms near a toll naka. After asking for help we were blamed upon having causing the trouble ourself. This undue n undesired way of treating d customer had got us stranded at the toll naka for 6 hrs. After posting reviews on their page and on their FB page, they had d audacity to delete all the 7 posts. This is certainly not the way to take care o[censored]r customers. We are going to lodge a complaint in consumer court against zoomcar for putting us through this torture. They charged us 17k for 3days and we are certainly going to fight to get every penny back. The car was already in a questionable condition when we got it.

                                  Booking ID - JPS6VJW4Q Date of Incident - 15 Oct 2015 Description of Incident - I had booked a XUV 500 for a trip to Lonavala for a business meeting. Booking was done well in advance (on Monday for a trip to start on Thursday). I was supposed to pick up the car at 9 AM, on 15th Oct, 2015. At about 7 AM, I got a call from Zoomcar that the car I am supposed to pick has developed some mechanical failure, and if I can pick up the car from some other location. I said I cant as I was preparing for my journey, and cant stop everything and go pick the car from another location. They disconnected the call and called back after 10-15 mins saying that Zoomcar will arrange another car at my pick up location (Chandivali), so no I need not worry any more. I was really happy with the response. At 9 AM, when I was about to start to pick my car, I got a call from the Chandivali location saying that can I go and pick the car from Andheri Station. The reason given for unavailability of the car was " Car is UNABLE to come from Andheri Station". I was surprised that the car had yet not arrived, on top they expected me to drive in full traffic, pick the car and drive back in full traffic (easily 2 hours drive) to my home. Anyone familiar with Mumbai can understand what a pain this is. Further, Andheri station in on Western Express Highway, and way to Lonavala is through Eastern express highway. In short, they are on opposite sides. I then decided to ask a friend of mine to take his car, and cancelled the booking. Thanks to my friend, I was not very late for my meeting. Desired Resolution - Zoomcar has an elaborate policy on penalties in case a consumer returns the car late, but no policy in case Zoomcar cancels the booking due to reasons entirely attributable to Zoomcar, that too at the last moment. I want the following: 1. Compensation on the same principles that Zoomcar charges a penalty - (INR 300+Rental value) per hour, for the entire duration of my booking. This works out to INR 15720. Details of Calculation : a) Duration of Booking = 32 hours b) Rental = INR 6120 c) Hourly rate = 6120/32 = INR 191.25 per hour d) Compensation = (191.25+300)*32 = 15720 2. Zoomcar should be made to include the above compensation policy for consumers so that next time they should not be able to fleece customers.

                                    On oct 7, I have booked a Honda city for 10 hours. I had the meter reading noted down before and after completion of my journey. My calculations said 170 kms in total, but Zoom car calculated 229 kms, the difference was 60 kms. I called so many times to their customer service and there was so no response from them. There is no clear calculation process. They are cheating customer in day light. Zoom car Management should be questioned. They should bring more transparency to their system.

                                      Recently I had to get rid of my backup car. It would be a few months before I could buy a new one. I needed a place to rent occasionally. My friends suggested Zoomcar and I signed up with them. I rented from them a few times and my experience most of the times has been pathetic. Dealing with them is like dealing with factory laborers. No professionalism whatsoever. All they care about is just taking money from your bank account. Here are a few bitter encounters.

                                      Booking ID JPS6VCYWO: I thought of renting an XUV for a few days. Getting it booked online was a nightmare. I had some balance in my Citrus wallet. Every time I tried to book, it would calculate the due amount deducting my Citrus wallet balance and would give me the difference. That difference amount would come out from my bank account. For some reason the difference amount ONLY got charged to my bank account and would not complete my booking. I tried this two times (coz it did not complete booking) and both the times I got charged Rs. 6, 735.00. That means they charged me Rs. 13, 470.00 (on Aug 26 and 27) for NO booking. I immediately called their customer support and I was told that they have some issues with Citrus wallet and I should try again without Citrus wallet. I tried while they were on the phone and it went thru fine. About the charged amount Rs. 13, 470.00, I was asked call back after I return from my booking. I have called at least 3 times after I returned but not luck with the refund. They asked me to send my bank statement which I did, TWICE! Now, I have to call my bank to declare those charges fraudulent.

                                      Booking ID JPS6E9PMA : I needed a bigger car to go pick my wife and kids from the airport. So, I booked a Scorpio well ahead of time of pick up date. On the day of pick up, I was on the way to their pick up location Thindlu. I receive a call 30 minutes before the pick up time. The person on the other side tells me they don’t have my car and it will take another hour and half or so to get another car of that size. I told the guy I do not have that kind of time and I am on the way to their place. When I reached their place, I was amazed! They are running Thindlu out of a DUMP! When I called I found out that they operate from a place that the shutter down and there is no name on the place! Upon enquiring I found out that the car I was to pick had met with an accident (if that is true!) in the morning. I was to pick up in the evening. How IRRESPONSIBLE! They had no answer when I asked why wasn’t I notified earlier but just 30 minutes before my pick up time. Anyway, the guy said he will have to get the car from another location and it will take 15 minutes, I waited for full one hour and called OLA (thank god!). Zoomcar that day demonstrated how unreliable they were. To top it all they charged cancellation fee on my booking. I had to reason out with them by calling. Seriously!?!?!

                                      Booking ID JPS6VCL71 : There was this other time I decided to rent Scorpio for a few days. The car was so bad that it felt I was riding a bullock cart. There were noises coming from every part of the car. When I hit 80km/hr, it would shake like a leaf. They ruined my vacation completely. When I returned I was talking to the guy and he told me its actually a loaner car. Meaning, if one location runs short of cars they use these loaners. Because these loaner cars go around locations, there is no one to take care of servicing. Makes sense!

                                      These are not one of rare situations. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody who is thinking to use them. I am done with these ! Will try some other car rental company.

                                        Hello, My booking ID- JPS6VIM2H I had booked a honda city on 15th Sept 2015, and I used to get a refund of Rs. 3185. I received the mail the very next day from zoomcar that my refund is been processed and done, but till date I have not received the amount in my account. When I Call them for the refund the phone got disconnected and thereafter I was unable to contact them further. I had also dropped E-mails to the company but no reply has been given to me till yet.                                         Refund was done but proper guidelines were not given. Further I was not able to contact with the customer care. I had to wait for long in customer care helpline number. After talking to the customer care the procedures were told and the refund was initiated.
