Booking Id: jps6vjteh. We had booked a car through Zoomcar in banglore n it broke down after 30kms near a toll naka. After asking for help we were blamed upon having causing the trouble ourself. This undue n undesired way of treating d customer had got us stranded at the toll naka for 6 hrs. After posting reviews on their page and on their FB page, they had d audacity to delete all the 7 posts. This is certainly not the way to take care o[censored]r customers. We are going to lodge a complaint in consumer court against zoomcar for putting us through this torture. They charged us 17k for 3days and we are certainly going to fight to get every penny back. The car was already in a questionable condition when we got it.

    Booking ID - JPS6VJW4Q Date of Incident - 15 Oct 2015 Description of Incident - I had booked a XUV 500 for a trip to Lonavala for a business meeting. Booking was done well in advance (on Monday for a trip to start on Thursday). I was supposed to pick up the car at 9 AM, on 15th Oct, 2015. At about 7 AM, I got a call from Zoomcar that the car I am supposed to pick has developed some mechanical failure, and if I can pick up the car from some other location. I said I cant as I was preparing for my journey, and cant stop everything and go pick the car from another location. They disconnected the call and called back after 10-15 mins saying that Zoomcar will arrange another car at my pick up location (Chandivali), so no I need not worry any more. I was really happy with the response. At 9 AM, when I was about to start to pick my car, I got a call from the Chandivali location saying that can I go and pick the car from Andheri Station. The reason given for unavailability of the car was " Car is UNABLE to come from Andheri Station". I was surprised that the car had yet not arrived, on top they expected me to drive in full traffic, pick the car and drive back in full traffic (easily 2 hours drive) to my home. Anyone familiar with Mumbai can understand what a pain this is. Further, Andheri station in on Western Express Highway, and way to Lonavala is through Eastern express highway. In short, they are on opposite sides. I then decided to ask a friend of mine to take his car, and cancelled the booking. Thanks to my friend, I was not very late for my meeting. Desired Resolution - Zoomcar has an elaborate policy on penalties in case a consumer returns the car late, but no policy in case Zoomcar cancels the booking due to reasons entirely attributable to Zoomcar, that too at the last moment. I want the following: 1. Compensation on the same principles that Zoomcar charges a penalty - (INR 300+Rental value) per hour, for the entire duration of my booking. This works out to INR 15720. Details of Calculation : a) Duration of Booking = 32 hours b) Rental = INR 6120 c) Hourly rate = 6120/32 = INR 191.25 per hour d) Compensation = (191.25+300)*32 = 15720 2. Zoomcar should be made to include the above compensation policy for consumers so that next time they should not be able to fleece customers.

      On oct 7, I have booked a Honda city for 10 hours. I had the meter reading noted down before and after completion of my journey. My calculations said 170 kms in total, but Zoom car calculated 229 kms, the difference was 60 kms. I called so many times to their customer service and there was so no response from them. There is no clear calculation process. They are cheating customer in day light. Zoom car Management should be questioned. They should bring more transparency to their system.

        Recently I had to get rid of my backup car. It would be a few months before I could buy a new one. I needed a place to rent occasionally. My friends suggested Zoomcar and I signed up with them. I rented from them a few times and my experience most of the times has been pathetic. Dealing with them is like dealing with factory laborers. No professionalism whatsoever. All they care about is just taking money from your bank account. Here are a few bitter encounters.

        Booking ID JPS6VCYWO: I thought of renting an XUV for a few days. Getting it booked online was a nightmare. I had some balance in my Citrus wallet. Every time I tried to book, it would calculate the due amount deducting my Citrus wallet balance and would give me the difference. That difference amount would come out from my bank account. For some reason the difference amount ONLY got charged to my bank account and would not complete my booking. I tried this two times (coz it did not complete booking) and both the times I got charged Rs. 6, 735.00. That means they charged me Rs. 13, 470.00 (on Aug 26 and 27) for NO booking. I immediately called their customer support and I was told that they have some issues with Citrus wallet and I should try again without Citrus wallet. I tried while they were on the phone and it went thru fine. About the charged amount Rs. 13, 470.00, I was asked call back after I return from my booking. I have called at least 3 times after I returned but not luck with the refund. They asked me to send my bank statement which I did, TWICE! Now, I have to call my bank to declare those charges fraudulent.

        Booking ID JPS6E9PMA : I needed a bigger car to go pick my wife and kids from the airport. So, I booked a Scorpio well ahead of time of pick up date. On the day of pick up, I was on the way to their pick up location Thindlu. I receive a call 30 minutes before the pick up time. The person on the other side tells me they don’t have my car and it will take another hour and half or so to get another car of that size. I told the guy I do not have that kind of time and I am on the way to their place. When I reached their place, I was amazed! They are running Thindlu out of a DUMP! When I called I found out that they operate from a place that the shutter down and there is no name on the place! Upon enquiring I found out that the car I was to pick had met with an accident (if that is true!) in the morning. I was to pick up in the evening. How IRRESPONSIBLE! They had no answer when I asked why wasn’t I notified earlier but just 30 minutes before my pick up time. Anyway, the guy said he will have to get the car from another location and it will take 15 minutes, I waited for full one hour and called OLA (thank god!). Zoomcar that day demonstrated how unreliable they were. To top it all they charged cancellation fee on my booking. I had to reason out with them by calling. Seriously!?!?!

        Booking ID JPS6VCL71 : There was this other time I decided to rent Scorpio for a few days. The car was so bad that it felt I was riding a bullock cart. There were noises coming from every part of the car. When I hit 80km/hr, it would shake like a leaf. They ruined my vacation completely. When I returned I was talking to the guy and he told me its actually a loaner car. Meaning, if one location runs short of cars they use these loaners. Because these loaner cars go around locations, there is no one to take care of servicing. Makes sense!

        These are not one of rare situations. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody who is thinking to use them. I am done with these ! Will try some other car rental company.

          Hello, My booking ID- JPS6VIM2H I had booked a honda city on 15th Sept 2015, and I used to get a refund of Rs. 3185. I received the mail the very next day from zoomcar that my refund is been processed and done, but till date I have not received the amount in my account. When I Call them for the refund the phone got disconnected and thereafter I was unable to contact them further. I had also dropped E-mails to the company but no reply has been given to me till yet.           Refund was done but proper guidelines were not given. Further I was not able to contact with the customer care. I had to wait for long in customer care helpline number. After talking to the customer care the procedures were told and the refund was initiated.

            Booking Id: JPS6VCARL. I completed the Zoomcar booking on 2nd Sept 2015. I have paid a Rs. 5000/- Refundable Security deposit while booking by Citrus Cash. The refund should have been completed and reflected in my Citrus cash by 5th Sept 2015 latest. At first the refund status was shown to be completed by NEFT but I had paid the amount by Citrus Cash (wallet). I sent a mail to Zoomcar customer support but no reply at all for 6 days! After 6 days I got a mail from a Sharan (from zoomcar) saying that the due to some error the refund was bounced back. I was asked to share my bank account details to initiate an NEFT. This meant delay of two more working days. The amount should have been refunded to my Citrus Cash by Sept 5 but here I was informed about the non refund issue on Sept 8th! No refund after two working days so I mailed again on Sept 11th and I got a response that the NEFT was bounced back on Sept 10th! Zoomcar didn't even have the courtesy to inform me about this. Zoomcar requested me to wait for another two days as they were going to initiate another NEFT on 11th. I waited for the refund but on Sept 16th, I got reply that the refund is again bounced back and was asked to share an alternate bank detail which I do not want to. I asked to make the refund to Citrus Cash which is how the refund actually should be! No refund and no mail from zoomcar after that. I had even given them an option of giving me next trip without making payment of security deposit as they already have it! Even this option was turned down! No Refund from Zoomcar even after 20 days of completion of booking. I had a domino effect on my financial life due to this Rs.5000/- refund delay as I was expecting it within 3 working days and hence was paid through Citrus Cash! Zoomcar has a refund process issue and all the inconvenience is caused to me! Let me know if I can get some help here!
            It has been a month since completion of booking and still I have not received the refund.

              Date : 4th Sep ( booking id - JPS6VCT1N) Phone number: Description - Citrus wallet site sucks. Real time transfer of money does not take place. I had booked zoom car for 12th and 13th sep, my plans got changed and hence i cancelled my bookings . Money started reflecting in Citrus wallet but each time i tried to transfer it to my bank account the screen used to stay on submit button loading for infinite time. Either the site is not tested properly or some unethical practice by Citrus and zoom car to eat interest on the money . My question is why cant we have real time money transfer option directly to bank account and not some useless citrus wallet. Response from zoom car team is appreciated. Thank you, Kau

                I had done a booking with Zoomcar on 16/08/2015 at 2pm. without any prior notice the booking was cancelled 24 minutes before pick up time and no other car was made available. The compensation that had been promised was not delivered. I had to call them thousands of times for a month after which my concern was addressed. My plan for the weekend was completely jeopardised and my phone bills due to multiple cals to their customer support was addressed with 500 driving credits. I have lost trust on Zoomcar and never going to book again so those credits are useless to me. I want a feasible compensation from Zoomcar

                  I have booked zoom car on on 26th of july and return it back on 27th July but even after that zoom car is not return my security amount which is 4475, we had a log conversation on mail and they apologies for the same for the delay multiple times in an email or in call even that I am not received my security amount I have all the proof of the fraud which is done by zoom car, please let me know how to make complain and how can i get my amount with interest.                     Booking (id JPS6VCQZ9) went unconfirmed on Aug 21st, 2015. Refund (of Rs 10780) not completed by zoom car since then. First - August 21st : Zoom car did not confirmed my booking... though they had charged by credit card on Aug 21st. They said payment got stuck in payment gateway. Every time I had to call to check booking status ! Next day Aug 22nd, they said that booking is cancelled and you will be refunded. "If you need car make another booking thru mobile App.. huh !... " No car given that day and I had to make ANOTHER booking for next day Aug 23rd. August 29th - As I received no refund for my First booking, I called zoom car and spoke to Sangeetha. She confirmed my payment was received through transaction id 'ljlb3cxp3' and agreed to initiate NEFT refund to my provided bank details. Since then - I spoke to multiple zoom car representatives - Sharad, Sam, Simmons, Feroz, Asif Pasha.. and Sangeetha.. they all promised to call back but didn't. Zoom Car has not completed NEFT refund (CASE 7661) for booking id JPS6VCQZ9 for amount Rs 10780 till date and I am chasing these guys since August 22, 2015. Today Sep 5th - I got another email from Asif Pasha ZoomCar and he again asked my bank details for new CASE 9802 he created for NEFT refund. He again promised to call me back and it is 2 hrs since.. Again FALSE CALLBACK PROMISE BY ZOOMCAR ! Each time I ask to talk to supervisor.. they put me on hold forever..and eventually disconnect. Is this the way zoom car does business..?                       I Chethan.c had booked a zoom car on 25/8/2015 but I did not get any confirmation about the car neither did I get any details about the car but amount of Rs 32, 360 has been deducted from my account (my account no: SBA[protected] I have been informing them but they are not responding me properly so please do the needful .

                        My booking reference no: JPS6VCQG8. Date of incident: 23 Aug, 2015 10:00 AM Zoom car charged me vehicle damage and did not refund my Rs 5000/-. But I did not damage it. They did not inform me also about the damage also. When I checked why refund has not happened till now they I notice that they charged me for damage and without informing when I asked them why they did not inform me at that time they did not gave me correct answer. I don't know whether the part they charged me is present in their checklist which need to be filled before taking the car. I want the consumer forum to give guide lines to them and also ask them to refund money. So that they should not simply blame anybody.

                          Hi there, My booking id is JPS6V7AZ4. Pick up time was 7.00am on Saturday. I went there around 6.30am. You guys told me that car is very dirty & we can't send it for washing. I told you to clean it manually. After 7.45 I noticed that car tyre have three deep cuts, which you guys didn't notice (after all its customer's work to check the car). Then you asked me to contact to call center guys. Very good communication from them, they don't understand Hindi as well as English also as they belongs to Bangalore. Next time I'll learn to speak Kannada before using your services. No coordination b/w call center & ground staff. Actually Ground staff is also suffering from this problem (as they told me). What kind of system or net conductivity you're using. Which is down from last two days. After this you guys send a car for me from another location at 8.45am. Again you guys didn't check it. I checked it & found the spare tyre was all damaged. Again call center story (very much disappointed). Then you exchanged the spare tyre from the previous car. I took the delivery at 9.15am, I drove it near about 100 mts & found wheel arm is cracked & you guys giving your vehicles to your customers in this condition (very good). Then again the same story story began (call center-me-ground staff). I kept patience & was watching your drama. It was a bit funny also. Then at last you told me to go to another pick up location to pick the car. I gone to bhikaji kama place from Saket. Then this time it was a third car in front of me & time was 10.15am. Finally I was talking with one of your call center exec & he promised me that he will raise a complaint against it & will send the complaint no via mail & msg, also promised me to arrange a call back from your manager. No complaint raised & I didn't received any call from anyone. When I was driving I called you, but no response from you. After all we are not your valued customer. Today at 7.00am when I came back to drop the car at bhikaji location. There was no ground staff. I kept calling you.. call center no was down. I waited for 45 mins on phone, no one received my call. Its tolled number, & what you're doing, see... then I contacted to Aayesha. She supported me & send your ground buddy.. the guy was full on drowsy. He told me that you didn't pick the car from this location, again a very good coordination. The attitude of that guy was very good as he's doing some favour on me. He told me to fill up the return check list. I was unable to do it as your app was down. I asked him for second way. He told me to contact to call center. I told him that they aren't receiving the calls. He kept saying to contact to call center (lol). Finally called to Aayesha, she told me to leave as she is gonna take care of my problem & promised me to call back around 1 o'clock. Sorry this time again I didn't receive any call (disappointed). Now what you gonna do, kindly tell me. Can I expect a call from some senior person?

                            A company executing in india without following proper norms and not providing proper documentation for the financial transaction. Recently i took service from this company in form of hiring a car. After everything is done, i looked at the receipt they are providing i was shocked to see the receipt doesn't carry in of the following information: 1. Mode of Payment. 2. Financial Transaction No.(Payment done through Bank). 3. No Tax Details. I contacted Customercare and request thrice to provide a proper receipt but they refused straight away and conveyed it's as per their policies. I am shocked to know it this is possible to issue such invoices without proper details. I tried contacting the number mentioned provided on receipt but it's not getting through and seems like it's not in working condition intentionally. Can you please look in to this... The company seems to be a Fraud.

                              As per the discussion with the zoomcar executive i have been informed my refund will be credited by the end of monday. But still it is not done yet. Altough, i keep sending the reminder mail neither i am receiving any acknowledeg nor theere customer csre responding .

                                I have booked a Zoomcar Scorpio on June. They taken 5000 Rs as security deposit. But after handover the car, They took more days to initate the refund and The didnn't refund the money as promissed. They given partially and said this and that charges applied. I felt very bad about their service and commitment. They are cheating the people. Please ignore the service from zoomcar. however i had send so many mails no reply for my refund and i had called several times. The customercar peoples are not repsonding.

                                  I booked my booking on 14/06/2015 11:00AM to 14/06/2015 22:00PM, booking reference#JPS6EN1N2. Per company policy in black and white on their own website it's maximum of 15 days, however in this case it's over 15 days but no sign of refund of security deposit. Is this a trick to eat someone's money. It's certainly a great distress and painful experience with Zoomcar customer service for the last two days. I have been constantly trying to get hold of someone in Zoomcar customer care, however it's hard to get hold one, and if you're lucky either you will be placed on hold for undefined time or you will get to hear executives talking so cheaply about the customer who has done the business with Zoomcar. I spoke to Imran on the very first day to know about delay in Security Deposit refund, this man just gave the answer in the air to get rid off the customer who's calling with a concern and he was so very arrogant to help, with full of intolerable attitude. When asked for a Manager, to my shock even the Manager was so slang in her behavior towards the customer, and in the end she disconnected the call. My multiple efforts to speak to someone to know the status was just useless. I tired again on the next day and no wonder I'm not successful to get hold of someone. None of the customer care numbers were working, all I could hear was they're just ringing. I was just wondering what if a customer is in a breakdown situation and tries to speak to someone at Zoomcar, he/she is completely stranded. Could I call this as completely HOPELESS to expect from a company like this. On the company portal, under my account section it's clear that the refund been initiated through Cheque towards my credit card from which I made the payment but it's over 15 days, in fact close to a month now still I do not see refund onto my card yet and however I have been charged interest for the same. I would like to ask a question here, if a customer delays to return the vehicle in time I will be charged for delaying drop off. Now, how much I should be charging Zoomcar for delaying the payment as the TAT on your portal maximum of 15 days and you guy's have crossed over 15 to return the payment. This is seriously worst experience I have ever come across in terms of service. I'm certainly not the potential customer of Zoomcar ever again.
                                  I am also facing same issue, it has been month they always says has some technical issues. Look's like zoomcar will run away with this security amounts near future.

                                    hey there, tejas here, i booked a ride on 3rd of june 2015, and that day my ride was cancelled and spoke to the cust service, i was advised that i wil get it back in 15 days, but its way past 15days, and moreover no response from email support, chat support or even cust care, a strict action should be taken care of this

                                      I have booked a self drive A-Class Mercedes Car from www.zoomcar.com on 3 june 2015 as my travelling dates are 6 june 2015 - 9 june 2015 and i have paid Rs. 22580/- from my visa card and on 5 june at 23:00 i got a mail from the company that they cancelled my booking and will refund my money as the car was met with an accident and when i asked i want to see the car wherever it was parked i will visit there personally then they refused to show me the car as now i am sure they don't have car they are just making fool of customers they are just generating traffic on there website and now even i am sure this company is a fraud company i request you to please take a legal action against this company and i want the loss i have to bear due to there cancellation.
