I booked a cab (booking id Your Zoomcar Booking : JPS6VP2R0) on 20th august from 8pm to 22nd august 12 midnight and picked it up from palace grounds location. First of all they gave me the car at 10:45 pm, secondly their app says i made a booking for 20th august 8pm to 21 august 12 midnight which means they expect me to return the car in 1 hour. I had to travel to mysore and calicut and returned the car at 10.30pm on 21st, my citrus wallet has 5700rs and they have now charged me with all possible fines and everything they felt like and said I am liable to pay 23000 Rs. This is only because of their app's mistake. I also had the worst experience of customer service from the customer service personnel where i had to wait for 5 to 6 hours to report the issue because the line does not either connect or gets disconnected automatically. The customer service person puts you on hold and never get back. In total I spoke to about 5 people for about 5 hours explaining the same thing. I shall only pay for what I have used and I am not liable for the company's or app's mistake.

    Please do not use zoom cars!

    The condition of the car was pathetic, ac was not working properly. We took zoomcar for the 1st time because we were a lot of people going on a trip, they cheat you with all the charges. We were just 1hr late and also had informed, they charged us almost the same amount as for 1 full day for 1 hour. And on top of that they simply add on late charges+late fee+ fuel charges.

    They are just cheaters and cheating people, i prefer and suggest everyone to take cabs or look for some other facility.

    They do not even have a proper customer service, when asked the car owner about the charges like extra fee and extra charges different he just said he doesnt know and the customer care just wont answer. Worst experience ever.

      I booked zoomcar (Honda amaze, ka-03-ab-5761, booking id - jps6vy2sv) from 13th aug, 4:00 am to 16th aug, 10:00 pm for my journey from bangalore to hampi. I paid 300 inr extra for pick and drop of the car at my house. My wife and i were going to travel in this car.


      Tl;dr

      Zoomcar provided a poorly maintained vehicle after a 1.5 hr delay. This vehicle broke down on the way and zoomcar made us wait for 6 hours on a highway, they also made us pay for cab charges and fuel. I am yet to receive the refund after 7 days and from the recent conversation with them, i got to know that they are charging 5k for vehicle damage without any evidence.


      1. No compliance to service commitments

      Since, i hired zoomcar for the first time, i made a call on 12th aug’s evening to understand their delivery process and other terms and conditions. Call center guy told me that by 3.30 am driver will call you to understand the address and deliver the vehicle by 4:00 am.

      At 3.31 am 13th aug, i received an sms to pick the booked vehicle from garuda mall. I called call center, they told me it’s a default message that goes to everyone so it’s a mistake. They also said that driver will call me in sometime to deliver the vehicle, i suspected he may not call and hence i asked for driver’s number. I waited for 15 minutes but didn’t get any call so i called the driver and to my surprise he was sleeping. He told that he is sleeping in the car in garuda mall, i informed him that he has to deliver the vehicle to my residence, to which he said he has no such instruction. I called call center back and informed them about this conversation. Customer care made another false commitment of delivering the car in next 30mins. After waiting for 30 mins, i called the driver again around 4.20 am, he told me it will take 30 more minutes as car needs to be refuelled. Driver came with car at 5.30 am. Driver and another staff who accompanied him, were not in any uniform or carried any id’s to ascertain that they are from zoomcar and of course not a word of apology for coming 1.5 hrs late. I inspected the vehicle, vehicle was extremely dirty from inside as well as outside and seat covers had holes. Next i realized that car didn’t have fuel, i was expected to fuel the vehicle after having paid in advance for 900kms on this car. I asked him why he lied about filling the tank and waiting at petrol station, to which he had no response.
      I had no idea that it’s commonplace for zoomcar to make false commitments to customers and then shamelessly ignore their complaints. During this 1.5hrs of ordeal we didn’t receive a single call from customer care to determine whether we received the car or not.


      2. Poorly maintained vehicles

      Vehicle that i was given had travelled ~63000+ kms. I filled the tank and started driving. From the beginning, i was facing trouble in driving the car - it was making noise, giving jerks every now and then and gear change wasn’t smooth. Initially, i felt it was a temporary problem and kept going on as these glitches were intermittent and occurred every 15-20 kms. While driving with the continuous noise for more than 70 kms, car gave me a huge jerk and i had to immediately pull the car off road. I felt as if there was some problem with wheel, i stopped to inspect but couldn’t find any problem with the vehicle. At this time, my wife made numerous calls to zoomcar’s customer care. Finally after trying for more than 30 mins she got through to customer care and asked about roadside assistance. Meanwhile, i kept driving. Divya from customer care suggested us to go to a service station and get the car inspected as any roadside assistance will take hours to reach. We told we will do it if we find any service station. With no viable option suggested for this onward journey we agreed to drive the car to hampi while our lives were at risk. We had asked for a replacement, which was denied. Then we asked for proper inspection and servicing of this car at hampi as we didn’t want to further risk our lives driving this vehicle back to bangalore. Divya assured that zoomcar will be able to service the car earliest at hampi. She also promised that rsa will reach us within an hour of taking our request and take the car for servicing once we reach our hotel in hampi.

      I was cautious while driving this car and wasn’t exceeding a speed of 60kmph. Within minutes of ending this conversation with divya the vehicle broke down in the middle of the road, our vehicle jolted and i couldn’t accelerate the vehicle any further, with the pace that our vehicle had, i was able to navigate it to the side lane. Thank god that we were not hit by the vehicle behind us when our vehicle’s speed suddenly dropped to near 0 levels in the middle of a highway otherwise, zoomcar might have held us responsible for rash driving.

      Later, from the honda service center i got to know that the left drive shaft had come out and it was a pure mechanical failure. I also got to know that this car was serviced at 49000 kms and was due for servicing at 60000 km as per the recommended schedule but it wasn’t sent for servicing.


      3. Unresponsive customer care & poorly managed roadside assistance.

      It was 10:00 am on a hot day, we were on this highway with no shops or houses around us and that meant no rest room. Since, my wife is expecting, we were anxious. We called customer care, someone told us they are have logged our issue and they will start working on this soon. Another 30 minutes and we didn’t recieve any call back from zoomcar. We called them back and they again said someone will call back. One hour passed. I complained on social media as my attempt to ask them to connect with a senior person failed. Around 11.30 am, roadside assistance from honda called us and told us that they are sending a cab and a towing vehicle which will take around 5-6 hours. I explained to him, we can’t stay there for so long, my wife is 7 months pregnant and there is no restroom around us. It’s extremely risky and life threatening. Trucks and cars were zooming past us at 100-120 kmph and our vehicle would vibrate every time a car passes, my wife was terrified. Rsa person said, he will try to expedite and called us back at around 12.30pm to confirm that a cab and rsa will reach us from davengere asap. Meanwhile, our long and painful wait that involved managing nature’s calls, food and survival inside the heated car continued for next 4 hours. We finally resumed our journey in a cab at 4pm and reached hampi at 7pm that night after a long and arduous journey of 13 hours.


      4. Disconnected systems, information asymmetry among teams, disrespectful behaviour of employees & lack of accountability among senior employees

      We were constantly calling zoomcar people about status updates. No one from zoomcar called and updated us, it was always us who called them to figure out what next was in store for us. Meanwhile, honda rsa called us and told a cab has been arranged and it may reach by 4 pm. We asked him what to do with vehicle if cab comes early, can we take the key and move, he said yes. I had asked the same question to zoomcar customer care also to which they said they will get back to us in few minutes and they never called back. However, zoomcar guy had told us that we should get the bills for cab so that they can refund the money later. Right in the first call, i made it a point to instruct the honda rsa guy to send a cab that could give us bills. Cab came around 3:30-3:45 pm, we moved our stuff to cab, and started our journey towards hampi. After 10 kms, we got a call from honda rsa guy telling us to go back and wait till the towing vehicle comes as they have come with a vehicle which would require the car to be moved inside and they would need the key. We asked him to send the towing vehicle to us, we stopped and waited (Past a toll). The towing vehicle refused to pay toll and travel to the point where we were waiting as it would cost him a mere rs 120/- at which point we told that honda/zoomcar should have informed us that we need to stay in vehicle unless towing vehicle comes. Now, honda rep started shouting on us, that he had to make so much effort to bring the towing vehicle and he also denied that he told us to go with key. After having a good 30 minutes discussion, we went back, waited and gave keys to the driver of towing vehicle. Driver of the towing vehicle asked for 300 inr as tip. We were already fed up with everything that had happened and didn’t want this driver to steal anything from the vehicle and then obviously charges would fall on our head so i gave him rs 100/- tip. We moved ahead towards hampi finally after 4.30 pm.

      After coming back to bangalore, i repeatedly asked customer care to connect me to some senior person or ceo, greg as i wanted to explain my case so that zoomcar can improve the processes to quickly resolve customer problems in future. I was told that all senior people are marked in [protected]@zoomcar.com but i didn’t get any response after 1st acknowledgement reply. It makes me think that possibly all senior people are also either aware of such regularly occurring issues or they just don’t care.


      5. Unethical practices of keeping customer’s money

      Our struggle didn’t end even on reaching hampi. When we reached hampi the cab driver told us he didn’t have a bill to give us. I called zoomcar and told them about the situation. Zoomcar told me they can’t refund without bills and we should have checked before getting in the cab. I responded that i had already told rsa guy to send a cab that could give us bills. And, if honda rsa is zoomcar’s service provider then don’t they know what kind of cab do they have to send. I talked to zoomcar’s team leader, and made him talk to the driver as evidence. Driver explained to him that he is a small operator and doesn’t provide bills. After this, zoomcar team leader said, they will waive off in this case. I told zoomcar to have a conference call with honda rsa guy and send me an email that they will refund the cab charges post which only i would pay. They sent an email and i paid 5680/- inr. I had already paid a fee of 16650/- for zoomcar, which i don’t have and already paid fuel charges of 1485/- which zoomcar should have paid. Now, i have to pay extra cab charges which they are liable to pay as per the contract.
      I asked them that they should refund my money immediately since car is not with me and transaction is over. They replied saying since in system, transaction end date is 16th aug, 10:00 pm, they would be able to refund the money after 16th aug. I was also promised that within a day, by 17th aug, we will receive the fund. They also told that they will refund our return journey and day travel during our stay.

      While coming back from hampi on 16th aug, i got multiple calls from honda service center, where our rented vehicle was taken on 13th aug. Service center didn’t have any clue whose vehicle is it, what is zoomcar and who are we? Most likely, honda rsa person had given them our number. So by 16th aug, zoomcar hadn’t even called the service center to know the whereabouts of the vehicle.


      When i reached home on the night of 16th aug i got a call from a driver of zoomcar, mentioning that he wants to come to my residence and pick up the vehicle. He had no clue that our vehicle broke down and had been towed away. I explained the situation to him.

      6. Charging customers for wrong/unproven/illegitimate reasons

      I sent all the bills to [protected]@zoomcar.in on night of 16th aug. Since then, i haven’t received any confirmation on refund, all they say is that they will get back to me shortly and they are waiting for update/service report. As i received several calls from honda’s service center, i asked them about the problem, they told it was a mechanical failure and left front drive shaft had come out. Till 18th aug, car was still in service center in bellary and no one from zoomcar had gone there to pick the vehicle or get the service report.

      After writing several emails and tweets, on 20th aug at 10:00 pm, someone from customer care called me to tell me that they will refund the money but there is a rs 5000/- charge that will be imposed because of some damage in chassis. When i asked him what is the damage? How does he know that this damage was caused by me, he had no answers and he said he will check and arrange a call in 10 minutes. As expected, that call didn’t happen.


      Zoomcar, pay my money and compensate for trouble caused.

      1. From the point where the car broke down to hampi - rs 5860, i don't have a bill for this amount as the cab driver didn't provide the bill, although i explicitly told mohan from honda to send the cab which can give me bills.
      2. Travel expense for two days - 14th and 15th august. : rs 3800/-
      3. Travel expense of return trip from hampi to bangalore. : rs 7000/-
      4. Fuel bill to refill tank. : rs 1484/-
      I demand, you pay 1 +2+3+4+ refund money paid to you, i. E; 16650/- as compensation for the agony caused.
      Total refund - rs 34, 614/-
      Bills are already sent to you in email at [protected]@zoomcar.

      It's been 10 days and I am still waiting for my refund. Now, you are asking 15 more days. You levied false charges of 5K INR without any proof. This is appalling, extremely rude and poor.

        I have been scammed by a company
        named Zoomcar rentals its a big name in car rental business. I booked a car on 7th august
        for my guest from United States.. 17 august when we were expecting the car at the booking time 11:30am
        the car didnt reach we tried there customer care contact numbers the head office phone, but nobody was
        answering the phone we wasted more then a hour & some how i managed to speak to them on the accidental helpline several times i called
        they use to give a certain time but nobody bothered at all waited more then an hour after that they call and say
        your booking has been cancelled because of shortage of cars. Now i got a refund of 6800 the amount paid was 7100 & as a apology they give a credit of 500 if i book next time.. what will i do with the credit in there company & why will i book a car next time in this fake company so in the end i pay 7100
        and get a refund of 6800 wasted almost whole day to deal with them.. please take a strict action against them so that nobody in the future gets scammed like this..

          My booking id JPS6VYTIT on 5th august ... i was harrassed by the fleet executive and zoomcar rohini city center branch head ... they created fake documents to impose charges against me ... i had been regular custome for more than a year ... no passt history as you can see ... they have been harassing me from my last 3-4 bookings ... i will be filling a case against them in the nearest police station if i dont get a postive feedback from zoomcar soon ... and i will also mention how company is supporting their extremely unmannered employees and luring out money from customers ... fast response is expected

          I had an accident due to which I returned the car late. I complained regarding the late fee and zoomcar thankfully waived it for me. But the difference in amount hasn't been credited to my account yet.

            Worst service i ever had in my life time we want to waynad water fall in the way to that waterfall in extreme dense forest our zoom car broke down we called on their number at 3 pm after that they said they will send a recovery van and a cab for us at 7 pm dark night they took that broken zoom car but they have not send any cab for us, only we people know it was how scary to stay in between the forest which is near to bandipur tiger reserve... Every time when we call them we were getting the reply cab is on the way will reach with in 5 min... At 11pm night the cab reached at that place and set out from that forest... Worst service.. Playing with the life.. Zoom car only care about their car's life not of their customer life... Never ever hire this

              We have booked zoom car for 16 august at 9 am but till 12 pm, we didn't get the car. And this zoom car is a team of liars because executive call me at 9:30 am that driver already started 10mins before but we got the number of driver at 10:30 am and call the driver then he told us that he started just 10 mins before. All are liars in zoom car. Very disappointing and worst service i have ever seen in zoom car.

                I have booked zoomcar scorpio for 13th aug 2016. However, the vehicle was not available., which i had to know after going to the pickup place spending deep auto money..

                Zoomcar never had courtesy to call us in advance and tell that car was no available and that i had to mad alternate arrangements

                We tried calling customer care several times, it keeps disconnecting..
                Customer care number or email does not exist in their web site
                Live customer chat is not available in their web site
                The place swagath garuda mall, office of zoom, there is no mobile signals
                People who work there have no clues about how to behave nor customer care persons... When ever there is a issue, they would say they would call back.. It does not happen..

                Because of all these i had to concel my plans of tour and did incur lot of agony and losses. I wish to file a legal case as i am not happy the way they are doing the services they are promising..

                Please advise the next steps. I am ready to spend time and energy to fight it out to see similar experience to other can be stopped

                  We tried to book a car via zoomcar app and money got deducted from our account without getting any confirmation and we did call you and you said that the payment is unsuccessful and i contacted my banks customer care they told me that payment was successful and thy give me reference id also. I need to know that where my money gone as bank people saying it is problem with your side. We tried to connect you it's not getting connected. May i know that when will be my money get credited back. And you have received a payment according to bank but there was no confirmation, please solve this asap!!

                    I would like to inform my booking id jps6vytit... I usually took car from this pickup point and the fleet executive and manager have been harassing us from last 2 months... They try to imply fake charges of the vehicle... Vehicle is never clean and we have to carry air freshner as foul smell comes each n everytime... The vehicle given to us had loose front seats and no working horn which could cause accident anytym... I had to go somewhr that why i took the car... Condition was hell... Despite of it, being a longrun customer of zoomcar i always compromise on it... But this time they implied smoking charges... There was mess from previous booking he clicked pic of that and harassed us that u have smoked in vehicle... I never smoke and tell othrs nt to smoke in car strictly... I wont be paying any unnecessary charges implied on us... Look in this matter and i want charge waive off asap

Unfortunately, we will not be able to reverse the charges levied as we understand that there are all necessary details regarding the charges. In regard to the harassment that you reported, please rest assured, we will investigate on the matter and will take strict action on the same. We do not tolerate such behaviour and will take due action on the same.
                    My discounted booking got cancelled and i was informed after one day, i made all my hotel bookings and arrangements, now who is responsible for my loss, you arrange me a car at same price, my money got returned next day after the discount period was over. If you guys dont want to give why do you advertise your offer

                      Dear Sir/Ma’am,

                      Kindly request you to give me a detailed invoicing on the car rental that I had availed from you. I am surprised that in my first booking itself there were so many innumerable issues that I had faced:

                      1) I had booked an XUV 500 to be delivered/picked up from my house in Powai on 31st July at 7:30 am.

                      2) I made many calls to your customer care from 7:45am until 9:30am but there was no feedback where the car was or any other update. During this time I had spoken to Bhavna, Saraswati and Moeen. None of them were giving me any updates and in fact Moeen suggested that he would cancel my booking.


                      3) I requested Saraswati that I needed a car of any other category so that all my plans and further bookings did not go a waste. At around 11 am I was confirmed that I will be given a Mahindra Scorpio which I will have to collect from Vashi.

                      4) I was told by Saraswati that she will refund me the pick up/drop charges. Also I shall be refunded that difference between booking an XUV500 and Scorpio. Apart from this she will also reimburse the cost of the cab that we have to take to Vashi (kindly find attached the receipts of the cabs that the 6 o[censored]s had to take from Powai to Vashi).


                      5) The following day I had requested Saraswati that I will return the car at any other location but Vashi as Powai is quite far. She accepted that I can drop the car at the Airport location by 6pm.

                      6) While driving the car to the airport, I faced an extremely dangerous situation when the breaks of the car had failed completely and my only support was the handbrake, which helped me to save myself from a deadly accident. I immediately parked the car on the nearest Petrol Station in Saki Naka and left for the airport to catch my flight. I dropped the keys with your employee at the airport.

                      7) After all of these incidents as well, there has been no feedback or updates from your end and it has only been me who has been trying to continuously call you to figure out the updates. This has been the most disappointing experience ever where none of the employees seem to have decision making power or concern about the reputation of the company.

                      Kindly understand the extremely sad situation that I faced with my first booking with Zoom car. I am certain that I will not be booking a Zoom car ever again in my life and recommend others not to chose Zoom car while renting a car.

                      Request you to kindly settle my account by providing me with the justified refunds as well as security deposit back.

                        On 29th june 2016, i availed the car hiring service from zoom car against a refundable deposit of 5000/- under a order id no. Jps6v3mt8 and still not received my amount. I tried many time to contact zoom car but not got any satisfactory ans.Initially they are saying about there refund policy of 5-15 working day and they are saying there is technical glitch in banking channel.
                        I zoom car is hurry in collecting the amount than why not at the time of refund.

                        What kind of services they are providing by not refunding the deposit amount.

                        Even they have worst customer support, with always avg waiting time of 10-15 mins and no satisfactory reply.

                          Hello Team,

                          I had booked a Honda Amaze from 2nd July, 2016 (2.30pm) to 3rd July, 2016 (6.30 pm) from Zoom car, Bangalore.
                          However, a vehicle damage fee of Rs.2000 has been deducted from deposit of Rs.5000.


                          Issue: The vehicle damage fee which was levied is totally wrong. I am not telling that the dent on the bonnet was present before the car was delivered to me.
                          My point is that there was no dent on the bonnet when I handed over the car to person who had come for the pickup. The concerned person had checked the car at this point and no dent was found. It was only after 3 hours that I got a call from the zoom car team that a dent was found on the bonnet.
                          I immediately called the person who had picked the car and he told me that he had checked the car and no dent was present at the time of pick up. Also, I received the dent image from your team. The dent is easily visible and only a glance is sufficient to find out the dent. How can the person who had come to collect the car miss such a big damage?
                          I also have the audio conversation which I had with the person who had come to collect the car and also the image of the dent. He had clearly confessed that there was no damage when he picked up the car. Despite this, the fine has been levied on me. Any damage that has occurred, has happened so after the delivery of the vehicle to the pickup guy. So I am not liable for the damage resulted due to the people hired by ZOOM CAR to take the car back.
                          In addition, I have not seen the damage physically. The registration number is not visible on the image which was sent to me.

                          I firmly believe that these charges have been falsely levied on me and want my full deposit back.

                          Despite reporting the situation to the customer care executives a numerous times, I haven’t received any proper response. It has been over 3 weeks since I lodged the issue request. The only response I got was that the zoom car team will get back to me but nothing has happened since.

                            Sir, i booked a ride on 27th june 2016 from zoom car and returned it in the required time. Now for the refund they started refund process on 28th june 2016 at 3:15:24. And i haven't received the refund yet and it's 19th july. I called them before and they told me that i will get my refund in 5-15 working days. So i waited for that also. Now today is 19th july and i haven't received any refund. I called them today also and they told me that i will have to submit my bank statement to them. And if i do that also it will take another 5 days approximately. I am facing a lot of problem due to this i have asked money from others and now they are asking me for that. I want compensation for the inconvenience caused and also for the phone bill. And it's written on the official website that l will get refund in maximum 15 working days.

                              I have all the way from dharwad to bangalore and booked the drive for mercedes.. But when i reached your place the mercedes was available but the button which is used to move the driver seat backwards was not working.. As the client told that the car met with an accident 6 months back and its not working.. We contacted your customer care many times and then they said only 50% will be refunded.. Finally after scolding them they agreed to pay 2650rs which the price was 3770rs have booked as i got the discount from goibibo.. I lost 1000rs.. Never expected this from zoom car and will tell all my friends not to travel in zoom car anymore.. I will lodge the complaint against you guys.. This is the way you treat your costumer.. Will directly complaint to the main office..

                                Zoom car has given me a nightmarish driving experience.
                                I was supposed to get the car at 7:30 pm and was supposed to return the car at 11:00 pm the next day.
                                I was given the car at 10 pm and was made to wait all the while. I was told that the car i am allotted has not been returned by the previous customer. While eventually i was given another car which had been parked right there all along. So now i have to pay for two days but i get to keep the car for one day.
                                Now because our program got washed away due to the late delivery, we decided to go for a long drive the next morning.
                                When we finally did take the car out the next morning, within 3 kms the tires on the left got deflated. Upon calling the customer care i was asked to push the car to a mechanic and get it repaired myself.
                                I currently am in the middle of tue highway and i don't know what to do.
                                So i am typing this compaint and hoping that people are made aware of zoom cars pathetic service.
                                Reiterating, i am in the middle of a nightmare.

                                  I had booking of swift car on May 8th, 2016 from 2:00 hours to 17:00 hours for 225 kms. As, Maruti Swift was unavailable at the location, Honda City was allocated to me from another location. I was fine with it and pretty much happy about it that Zoom car at least cared about my journey.

                                  But, after the journey started, I hardly crossed 35-40 kms and car broke down. There was minimal water blockage on road as it was raining on May 8th around 3:00 AM. I drove car through that water and it broke down. Also, front bumper of the car came out as the water flow went inside it.

                                  I wondered how come all cars and trucks were easily going through it and only this Honda city provided by Zoom Car broke down. It was really a minimal of water blockage. After going through this water blockage, the car suddenly stopped and i could not even turn on the interior lights, head lights, parking lights.

                                  Reasons of disappointment:-
                                  1. While taking a car before journey from the location, i noticed the front bumper issue and mentioned it to the guy who handed over the car. But he just noted it down, but did not fix it
                                  2. Zoom car has provided the car which was having faulty battery.
                                  3. We have reported the incident between 3:00 AM to 3:30 AM and after that, they promised the zoom car person will arrive within an hour, but no one showed up till 7:30 AM. Around 7:30 AM - 7:45 AM, A towing guy came from Honda service center .Even after the car was towed, we were provided a cab by zoom car after half n hour of it
                                  4. Zoom Car also did not provide any other vehicle so that I can continue with my journey.

                                  I was on road at night which did not have street lights for 4 hours, and I could not do anything at night as car battery was down.

                                  I am highly disappointed with the Zoom Car. I heard it is one of the great service provider. But after experiencing this I would not like to use this service anymore.

                                  Then, I asked them for refund of this journey as my journey could not complete. But instead of that, they asked me for the 5000/- as a Damage fees. In the policies of Zoom car, it is clearly mentioned that user is allowed to pay max upto the security deposit of respective bookings in any damages. Though, when i booked a car, it was Zero Deposit offer from Zoom Car, But still I paid 5000/- as a car damages.

                                  Now, Today they are threatening me to pay 85000/- (Eighty Five Thousands Rupees) for car damages otherwise legal actions can be taken against me. Despite of paying an outstanding amount after the issue, they are asking for another significant amount. When i booked a car, i had gone through each policies of Zoom car, But i could not find any points where i am liable to pay more than security deposit amount.

                                  I have talked to higher authorities for this. And this issue must be taken seriously.

                                    Booking - on 11/07/16 i (saurabh) booked xuv 500 from zoomcar (hadapsar), car pick up was scheduled at 8:30 pm, it was handed over to us around 9:30 pm as the car scheduled didnt arrive in time, hence we were given another car without service.

                                    Problem begins here-
                                    After 200 km approx car breaks started being unresponsive, we were on our way to bhandardara which is quite isolated. after contacting zoomcar they suggested to manage for few kms and get it checked with local mechanic, cost of which will be levied by zoomcar. after check up it was found that break oil was way low than minimum mark. he filled it up with break oil bill of which is attached.

                                    After going on for few kms break was unresponsive again, again after check up it was found that break oil container is again empty.
                                    Hence - there was a leakage of break oil.

                                    In the meanwhile car computer started having glitch like when it is driven in front, rear sensors and reverse alarm started blinking and sounding.

                                    After waiting for 5 hours zoomcar provided tow truck and a cab to our destination.
                                    In morning mahindra informed us that car wasnt serviced since long, and that was the root cause. (quote attached)
                                    What was at stake-
                                    1) life
                                    2) time
                                    3) trip
                                    4) money
                                    5) never reached our destination.

                                    Demands-
                                    Complete refund booking amount and security plus compensation towards my lost time and threat to my life.

                                    My suggestion to others-
                                    Never book a car from zoomcar, their after rent services are horrible.

                                    If demands are not met-
                                    I'll follow up with my lawyer.

                                      Booked a scorpio on 08/07/2016 vide booking id jps6v3faz for our journey from airport road, viman nagar (pune) to lavasa, a distance of approximately 70kms. after driving d vehicle for 55kms one of its rear tyre got flat. we replaced it with d spare tyre n started off again. however, d spare tire too got flat after 5 mins and we 7 people (4 guys, 3 girls) found ourselves isolated in a place where civilization couldn't be traced anywhere near. strandered in d middle of a road amidst hills, it was 7pm then. of d 7 cell phones we people were carrying, there was network in only 1 phone. we called up d customer care n spoke to many of their executives (ahmed sheikh, prakash, prabhu to name a few) of zoomcar n were told that a backup cab would b send within d next 1hour. but even after 3 hours der was no cab sent for us. meanwhile it started to downpour. we kept ringing d customer care and all they wer saying was they were trying to arrange a cab for us. even after 3 hours those people couldn't arrange. unconvinced by their below par service we managed to find a cab ourselves. we again called up d customer care asking about the status n also informing them about d cab that we arranged. however they said we cannot leave d brokendown scorpio behind and assured us that a cab would be send at the earliest. till 1am all they did was sent a recovery van to tow away d scorpio. we again called up d customer care asking where our back up cab was, and there came the same reply again "we are trying to manage, sir". unable to find a way out, we requested the driver of d recovery van to take us along with him to which he agreed at 2am.
                                      My question to zoomcar is if they couldn't make necessary arrangements, why did they not say it at the first place?
                                      Is their car more valuable than human lives? the girls were standing in d rain for 7hours in n isolated place n yet there was no assistance. this is so disheartening and highly unprofessional on part of zoomcar.
                                      Who would have been responsible if any untoward incident happened??
                                      I demand a logical explanation from zoomcar with a further demand to compensate for d inconvenience faced.

                                        I had done my booking with zoom car for 4th july, 2016 being the pickup location as chembur Eden garden at 6 AM. Got the message from zoom car at 5:30 am and at the same time spoke to to the customer for the pick up at the same location and they confirmed that the driver will hand over the car.
                                        When we reach the location there is no one present called the customer care the phone was not reachable. After somehow talking to the customer care we were informed that the pick up location was shut from 3rd of july.
                                        Because of this i have made a huge loss
                                        Zoomcar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Also calling your customer care on 14th July they tell me that i need to fill the form for my bank account details for the refund. They are telling me after 10 days that too when i am calling for refund follow up. There is no initiative taken from their end to ask for the bank account details for transfer.No courtesy to reply back on the complaint email sent to them. Also they offer some Rs 300 credit to citrus account as an apology.. After this kind of worst experience with zoom car do you all think i will ever use your service. NO.
