[Resolved] Zoom Car — fraud in payment and threatening | |||||
A hefty cost of rs. 6000 was being threatened by the zoom authorities for a tire puncture. The cost of a tire puncture hasn't been mentioned anywhere in the terms and conditions. The executives initially quoted a price of 500 and later quoted a charge rs. 1000 without any justification whatsoever and when we contacted the zoom customer care they threatened us with a bill of rs. 6000. The customer care and the zoom executives present were extremely rude. The problem is the zoom app is controlled by the outlet in-charge and the customer care executive and they can set any price they want in the app with no justification.in the end they settled for a rs. 1000 bill. But those 4 hours were a nightmare for us after a long day of traveling. They had our license details and were threatening us with charging 6000. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Not only zoomcar is asking(read extortion) for ridiculous damage amount without any justification whatsoever, but the customer service and executives were even more rude and unapologetic. The customer service executives had the audacity to threaten us when we were just politely asking for damage amount justification. This shameless attitude is unacceptable and I would never recommend anyone to travel by zoomcar.
They dont have any respect for their customers, they are rude and they overcharge. I would never recommend zoomcars to anyone.
