This is with regards to an order that I made from website http://www.zoomin.com
Order # ZIN1-HQKHIQZGY.
I have been a regular user of this site since some time and this is the first time that I am facing such a bad experience.
The product which I ordered was not delivered at the address that I mentioned and the person for which it was shipped was asked to pick up the stuff from the courier office. The reason the courier firm gave was that they don’t have service in the area of the shipment and that zoomin provided the wrong pincode to them and that was the reason why they took the order. They informed that they wouldn’t have taken the order if the correct pincode was provided
When I have clearly mentioned the address of shipment with the pincode, why was there a confusion in providing the correct pincode to the courier firm?
The shipment was a gift to someone and the person had to travel more than 8Kms to collect the courier. If you can’t provide an order properly at a particular location, cant you mention this at the time of taking order?
The courier firm abused the person who went to collect the courier. This is not at all acceptable.
I am going to file a case in consumer court highlighting the above points (basically for charging money and cheating).
