I am using ACT from over 1.5 years now.. and probably the first one to get in my locality So I had to attach a junction box attached to my wall outside and was getting ₹100 discount for the same. Now few days back I realised except for mine there are 5-6 more connections are going from my junction box to my neighbors.

1) Does that will consume more electricity ?

2) I called support and told them to remove the junction box from my house as i think it is consuming more electricity and I don’t want ₹100 discount.. So he told me to Mail Act support about the same .
But Its been over 30 hours I have not received any response from Act team.

    Tenth Attempt here to Get Response from ACT team

    Act connection has been disconnected saying "requested by customer or amount due" which was ACT Billing team issue.

    This disconnections have caused major impact to my multiple conference calls with my customer and have to switch to mobile data. It impacted my children's online classes too.

    Let's see how much act customer care team care for their customers and how act is going to address my issue.

          We ( myself and my husband Vijay) are unable to reach to your helpdesk, despite calling multiple time from different phone numbers to your Call center ( +91 - [protected], +91 - [protected] and[protected] at different time zones for the past 3 days.
          We are asking for the Account Name to be changed ( SR[protected] = Name Change Request.), We need a solution for the request. Can someone from ACT revert.
          It is miserable the way we are getting treated despite being a customer with ACT for more than 5 years. Even the basic feature of reaching out to Customer care has become impossible through all the numbers that you have displayed in the website.

              I have make 100calls but no response.

                Ticket numbers

                Many other tickets have not been attached as it got lost due to phone upgrade.

                This is report that the unprofessional, punctuality issue of the local technician in my area.
                The tech was intimated 2 months ago about the below situation

                1. The small internet box was installed
                many years ago into my neighborhood.
                2. The place where the box was installed
                had to be renovated.
                3. Multiple intimations were given to act by
                me and all my neighbours from 2 and a
                half month.
                4. The local tech said he would come and
                do it but he never came
                Many tickets were automatically closed
                Into 24 hours without my consent
                They had to be opened multiple times.

                *5* EVERYDAY that passes by without
                internet costs me and my neighbours
                around 1500 each from my daily wages
                as we work from home. This has
                impacted our work very badly, it has
                brought down our impression at
                workplace.

                It is very disgusting to see that the company has been doing nothing to resolve this matter, the tech has come and he has taken the box away the whole area has no internet and the tech's cannot just do one small job.
                The cables used by Fibernet are cat5 cables.
                We are living in 2021. For Godsake!! How can cat5 give u fiber speed? All o[censored]s have 125mbps package.
                The whole area looks to have a better service but unfortunately this is the only service available in our area. ..

                It's not only about the salary mostly
                Its about stability we as your consumers being as employees show at our work.

                We hope consumer complaints being the best and renowned ombudsman will intervene and sternly take action into this matter...

                Still not fixed. Customer service says permission issue everyday. Whilst I'm telling them that I give permission to install the box into my house each and everyday. Still no tech comes over. Really bad!

                Customer service hangs up the call on the face
                Customer service doesnt escalate to manager when demanded.
                Customer service does nothing except saying that they will escalate the matter
                The escalation goes no where and another 24 hours has been added to the time frame.

                I'm so tired and fed up with this company
                I am losing salary everyday
                And,
                My job is at stake

                ACT should be crucified for this kind of a pathetic support.

                They had to just take my cable and put it to another junction box. For that 9 days 😂 sick people! My internet issue is now fixed. But I still want to be compensated for my salary.

                    My account is in suspended mode, I tried calling customer care around 10 times but no one picks up the call. I have done payment also, its still suspended and I am not getting any support.

                    Finally, the issue got resolved after 5-6 calls to their associates. Feedback to Act Fibernet - 1.) improve your customer care service (its so poor), 2.) please keep the customer in loop for any issues related to the customer, and inform them regularly on the issue's progress.

                      Act internet is not working for more than 1 day. This is not first time we are facing this problem. Monthly atleast 3times we are facing this issue. Please treat this on priority and provide a fix on this.

                        The issue that I have experienced was: The internet service was not provided due to relocation of the junction box setup at my residence. The outage started from 05/May/2021 till 04/Jul/2021. For these period the payment was made already and since the service outage was caused due to delay by ACT service provider. I had opened multiple tickets and also sent multiple emails to their customer care and also Nodal Officer. But no proper action is taken yet.

                        It occurred on: 5/05/2021

                        Adjust the billing amount with 2 months service outage charge, since they did not provide service.

                        I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

                          Hi, I have an Internet connection and have been facing issues every second day. I have raised many many complaints / requests to resolve the issues, but your technicians demand money to come and check the Issue and it gets resolved for 1-2 days and again the Internet does not work.

                          Everytime i call customer care, all they say is we are sorry for the Inconvenience we will look into it and no further action is taken from ACT.

                          You send Prompt reminders for payments, but NO SERVICE.

                          Extremely BAD service by ACT.

                            Worst experience, I paid 3800 Rs and took connection in the month of Apr but from day one the internet dint work and i have raised close to 30+ complaints till Jun end but no use, In the last week of June customer support said there is a issue with power box, so they cannot solve the issue and suggested me to request for refund. So based their suggestion i sent an email requesting cancellation and refund but there was no response, they kept the connection live but cannot use internet/internet doeswork. Even after multiple complaints they neither refunded nor i could use the internet. after three months i received an email stating that i will have to pay bill amount around 800+, so i called customer care and explained/asked why i should pay, he respond saying even if internet doesnt work we have to pay. such bad and worst experince. customer support is trained in such way that they repeat same answer for all question and they close the ticket.

                              I had requested for a new connection 31/07/2021 and made payment of Rs. 3841.00. Immediately after a few hours I call up the sales agent (Manoj) and informed I would like to withdraw my new connection request. The agent then told me he's requested for a refund to be processed and the accounts team will call you to take the details for the refund (why will they call me to to take the details when they already have it?) I have since been calling the customer care number but I'm unable to connect to them because the IVR says there is no account number linked to my number. And when I reach the sales team for the same they just disconnect the call.

                                    Worst customer care with zero response.
                                    - My broadband bill was paid on June 5th . Act claimed that I haven’t paid the bill and disconnected my broadband connection and asked me to pay the amount once again. Though I submitted the proof of my bank statement and clarified message from bank about the payment they still denied and reclaimed that they had refunded the amount on June 14th. But refund was not reflected. I made continuous follow up but no proper response right from the customer service to nodal officer. No one made a proper follow up. They also disconnected my connection and now after one and half month today (august3) I got the message that account has been activated. How irresponsible it is on their side to be so lethargic. In this case, I don’t want to continue with their service and want to disconnect the connection once for all and get the refund. But even if disconnect, they are denying to refund the amount to my bank and are saying that the amount is in act wallet and I can use in future. Why would I use act wallet when I don’t have a connection. When I raise the question the customer executives are speaking so rude that don’t even talk professionally. I need a proper solution and want my amount back to my bank account which is the original payment mode.

                                      I've received a call from Act Fibernet customer support executive on 2nd August stating that my existing plan be upgraded from 25 Mbps 250 GB plan to 50 Mbps 500 GB plan. I use 6 months package so my next payment due is on 2nd October. He informed that upgraded package is Rs 60/- higher than existing one for 6 months. So for August and September he advised me to pay Rs 20/- from Act App and I've paid it and call was cut from their end while I'm online with them. I've called support twice regarding this issue and there was no resolution from their end and they informed me to wait until next payment date to use upgraded package. I need the resolution on this ASAP.

                                        I have been using act internet for more than 2 years in Bangalore. And due to pandemic i had suspended my account and moved to my native. Since then I had been getting calls about the reconnection.

                                        Now am back to Bangalore and raised request to reactivate my account and its been more than 48 hrs and still no progress has been made.

                                        Internet is now very much essential with people like us working from home and I had already lost my 2 days leave because of this sluggish response.
