    I have disconnected ACT internet connection w.e.f. 30/07/2021 as per technician advice as no internet was possible in my area. My ACT account No. was[protected]. However, my connection is active till 06/09/201. I sent refund request for refund. But complaint has been closed two times without any reply. I called your customer care executive many times. They kept me waiting and did not return to talk. I provided my bank details also to them. But I have not received any refund. Very bad customer service. Never buy ACT fibrenet. I want my refund urgently.

      Payment regarding incorrect act a/c

      I have ordered for transferring the amount from my old Fibernet account no. (Which I had ordered for cancellation)
      To the new Fibernet account as it has been wrongly paid to the old one. I have been waiting for a week, but still there is no response from the customer care service.Kindly look into this problem as soon as possible please....

        Due to worst customer service and disconnection issue, i have deactivated the connection.i have paid for 3 months and deactivated on the first month so I am supposed to get 2 month refund (aug, sep) amd for this refund request created hut everytime they mention router recollection is pending and close ticket.for router recollection the ticket is created on 3rd aug and no one is coming and taking router.after 15 time call to customer support also no one taking router and refund also not getting.please help.

        They came and taken the router but now they came with new things that the refund cannot be processed.SR[protected] ticket is closed 2-3 times mentioning the policy.if you are not providing the internet properly who ll take the service.even issue is still there we have enrolled for another 3 months but the internet didn't come properly the whole month and after complaining no one cares.after using act for 2 years...are you guys doing to the customer.
        Note:- your refund team is worst.they never talk to customer just close the ticket.please process my 2 months refund.

          I Have paid amount for act installation and one month plan online.
          Later few ppl come and tood its not possible in our area as there are no near by box
          Its beenore than 10 days
          I still not got connection and the amount also not refunded.
          How can the ticket be closed without solution

              I have not been living in Bangalore since March 2020. I had a prepaid ACT fibernet connection at my residence, already paid for in advance till August 2020. After plan termination ACT did not disconnect the account, generated the bill for amount of RS 1200 (15 days worth of plan) and kept calling and emailing each day (sometimes twice in a day) to submit the pending fees, even though I had not used it even one day.
              I eventually paid the dues, and requested the customer care executive to now disconnect the account.
              In Feb 2021, (I dont know how) account got reactivated again. Again the same story, telling my that my bill payment is due, endless calling. Many of the calling executives are very rude, and not trying to understand the problem at all.

              Please resolve the incident by PERMANENTLY disconnecting my account. I want nothing to do with ACT fibernet ever in my life. Ideally I would also like a refund for the extra bills I have already paid.

                As we are working from home, Internet cannot be down even for 2hours. But my internet provider keeps going down at least one working in a week. I raised a complain yesterday and they resolved it today and called me, I asked to take care of connection by resolving permanently but the technician had cut the connection again. What kind of technicians are sent. I called local technicians as well and no response at all.

                  Recently I moved to another location raised a shift request but no response from the team, after 3 days customer care people told me we are unable to shift your connection, so I have raised a permanent close request. But no action till now, trying to connect customer care from last 3 days but it is not connecting and everytime it says I'm in queue don't whole day the same response. I had paid for 6 months in July and raised request on August 13th need to get money from ACT. I think you are blaming customers and taking money.

                  I think you made changes to put my call in a queue and want to drag this till end of the month or 6 months and want to steal whole money with out shifting or closing the connection, at the end customer is loosing. Worst service. How come customer care is busy since morning till night for 4 days, that means you are providing worst service and customers are keep on calling or else you are blocking my calls to cheat me.

                      I had taken a Prepaid Fibernet (Broadband) connection (Account No.[protected] at my residence (Bangalore) by paying initially Rs.5500 on 04 Sep 2018 (for package of 5 + 1 month free). Further, I continued with their service by making Prepaid payments (online) for the same package. Though the speed of the broadband was good initially, it became very slow (unable to attend online classes by my children) since Apr 20 (during COVID-19 pandemic period) may be due to capacity constraints or some other technical issues at the ACT Corp end (reasons best known to them). As per the ACT customer care advice, I had even changed my package by making additional payments on 02 Jul 20 and 24 Aug 20. There was no improvement in fibre net speed. Finally, with no resolution from their side after multiple calls and email correspondences, I decided to discontinue the fibrenet connection once my Prepaid validity expires in Feb 21 and to look for alternate options. The same was intimated to ACT customer care through telephone calls and emails. With no response from their side, I disconnected the modem (installed by me) and stopped using ACT Fibrenet after my Prepaid validity. Further, I changed over to Airtel Broadband from the same date.

                      In the aftermath, I would hereby like to bring to their kind attention the following;

                      (i) A Bill amount of Rs.986.06 has been generated (for the period Feb 21 to Apr21) from their side (for reasons unknown to me), when my connection is Prepaid Broadband which should automatically get disconnected once the prepaid usage period/validity completed in Feb 21. Additionally, I have informed multiple times to customer care through emails and tele calls that I do not need their service due to slow broadband speed and poor customer service, which unfortunately could not be resolved for reasons best known to them.

                      (ii) Making illegals calls through unauthorised recovery agents for bill payment and/or to reactivate the connection. The calls are being made to woman at home encroaching into my privacy and right to choose the service provider.

                      I have reported the above matter to them several times (through emails) but despite all my pleadings they haven't taken any corrective action as a responsible corporate to resolve my grievance. ACT Corp is requested to

                      (i) Cancel the wrong bill generated irrespective of my non-usage of their services and / or

                      (ii) Stop the illegal and unethical tele calls from their side for reactivation of service

                      After the complaint, I got three calls from the Act complaint resolution team to understand the case. I explained with sincerity what had happened. They understood the genuineness of the case. Finally, I got a call and SMS message from Act Corp that they have resolved the case and my account has been deactivated. The local team of Act has mishandled the issue. People concerned understood the matter. If we are genuine, I think people are there to listen and help. Thanks a lot to www.consumer complaints.in portal for helping me to resolve this.

                      Today I received calls from ACT representatives to discuss the issue after I registered complaint on www.consumercomplaints.in portal. They acknowledged that they have received the complaint and asked me about the details of the complaint. They have promised me to look into the issue and revert back to me.

                        Hi,

                        My wifi speed is really pathetic. I have opted for 50 mbps but I am receiving 1 mbps or maximum 2 mbps for almost the entire day and other times it's between 10-14 mbps. I have been raising complaints since July 22nd and until now there is no response from your side. Rather than fixing, you always keep closing my complaint without even resolving it. I have not recieved even a call from you to check on my query until this date. I have sent 2 complaints to customer care and 1 complaint each to Nodal and Appellate team but no response from anyone. Each time you closed my complaint, the same day I have reopened it.

                        Its been 27 days since I raised complaint and until this date none from your side has taken any steps to fix this issue. Not even the Nodal team and Appellate team have taken any steps to resolve my query.

                        Below are the complaint numbers -
                        22nd July - SR[protected]

                        27th July - SR[protected]

                        29th July - Sent an email to Nodal officer SR[protected]

                        5th August - Sent an email to Appellate
                        SR[protected]

                        Note that I have reopened all the above 4 complaint numbers on the same day when you closed it without even fixing it. Hence, all the 4 complaint numbers are still open.

                        I want like to inform you that this is not the first time I'm facing this issue. I have been raising complaints about low speed internet very often for more than 2 years. Each time the engineers comes to fix it, that day the speed will be above 40 mbps and after few days, again the speed decreases to less than 25-30 mbps. So most of the year, I am not getting the speed for which I am paying.

                        This time the speed is 1-2 mbps and it has been affecting my work very badly. The customer service upto Appellate team did not take any measures to solve it. This is totally unacceptable.

                        Plz resolve my wifi speed issue immediately and refund the amount for 27 days.

                        Hi, Someone called from your backend team Friday back. I explained him all the issues. He told me that he will send a senior engineer on Saturday to fix this issue permanently but until now no one has come yet.

                        Are you guys playing with me?

                        First of all, you kept closing my complaint everytime and now you said someone will come to fix it and no one turned up yet

                              We renewed our services with ACT in May. As usual we paid for the whole year. For the information I had confirmed that if we decide to leave in the middle that i will get rest of my money back.
                              For the family emergency we had to move to Pune, Maharashtra where ACT doesn't provide service. We asked for a refund and have been sending emails to the Nodal officer also. But haven't heard back and they have not yet refunded the money after telling me it will be done in the next 7 days. I have asked the services and the account to be cancelled from August 1st. It has been disconnect but I haven't yet received my refund. This needs to happen as soon as possible. It is an amount of over Rs. 9000/- . I have raised the refund request several times but they keep closing it without processing anything. I was suppose to receive a call from the refund team which has also not happened. I am thoroughly frustrated and feel cheated.

                                Towards the subjected ACCOUNT No :[protected], I had opted for ACT BLAZE Plan and did a payment on 24th Feb 21, where your team confirmed that this would be 6 months plan + 1 month extra as a offer (i.e., over all 7 months validity would be extended on my account).

                                But now all of sudden, it is really surprising to see that I have got an validity of only 5months, and now my plan is running on a monthly rental basis, without any prior alert.

                                This ACT team wants to loot money from their customers, they don't even have recordings of previous communication to check. The team just closes the complaint without resolution.

                                Please don't team, incorrect statements. I got only one call from your service engineer, asking DO YOU NEED A NEW CONNECTION. Well my reply to him was " I already have a ACT fiber Net connection, and my concern was raised for billing dispute.

                                Your service person hanged up the call, there was no call thereafter.

                                I feel this this one the worst service. Your team is least bothered to response and take necessary actiion.

                                  Wifi's internet not working. It's been 4 days since I have registered the complaint with them. There service is worst. I have paid for the whole month. This is not the first time this has happened. Every month there is internet problem and they take more than 24 hours to rectify.

                                    Address: Hyderabad

                                    I am facing a Internet connectivity issue one full day every week. Until I call the customer care and update about it they don’t start the work.

                                    The customer service team has standard phrases that they repeat all the time.

                                    I pay around 800 every month to get proper service. And need a better service provider.

                                      I am trying to contact ACT numbers to clarify my doubts for extension of internet facility to the ground floor in the same building
                                      but there is no human touch your customer care numbers.

                                      I currently have an internet connection from ACT and i need to install another router at ground floor and change my plan to unlimited

                                      Can some one from ACT call me on [protected] and resolve my queries?
