I change my 2g to 4g sim, have visited the local air tel office at least 4-5 time with so many times called and mail them to sort out the issue of this one to one mapping, they gave me fake promise that it will be solved with 3 hours. For last 4 days i don't have signal on my mobile ([protected]) to do any outgoing/incoming call. My plan of 247 for 28 days, here it looks like the money has been took by air tel without providing the service

    I (Harshit oberoi) is highly disappointed with the services from you guys from the past 1 month and every time whenever i call customer care department i have to be on hold for more than 45 min and today was the worst experience. I was on hold for 54 min and after 54 min i was connected with supervisor name anil who didn’t give any resolution and i was forced to cancel my services with airtel.

    Now let me tell you the whole scenario and because of resolution provided by anil i was forced to cancel the services.

    On sept 14 or on 13th sept i called customer care because i wanted to switch my airtel standalone broadband connection to airtel broadband connection with the fixed line and customer care advisor advise me that they will take a request to provide new connection as i have stand alone connection i have asked him that do i have to pay for installation charges and your customer care advisor denied and said that i don’t have to pay installation fee but when the executive came to my place to get the new connection he asked to pay 1000/- for installation fee and then again i had to call customer care executive and then after discussing the same for 40-50 mins your advisor gave me credit of 472/- and finally on 16th sept i got the new connection installed and i have called the customer care of 17th sept and asked your advisor to cancel the standalone connection and i was told that it will be cancelled in fact they asked the reason and verified my personal information as well but they haven’t gave me any service request # or confirmation neither i received any text message for the same. Also in the mean while i was informed that i will get the instrument with the new connection but at the end i was not provided the same and then after lot of calls and speaking to supervisor i was offered a credit of 200/- and every time whenever i called i asked that stand alone connection has to be cancelled and every time i was informed that it has been cancelled and today i received a text message for the bill of 1295/- so i was in shocked as i have cancelled the stand alone so i decided to call customer care and over there i got to know that stand alone connection was not cancelled due to which i received the bill, i explained the whole scenario to the customer service rep named (Sheel) and he asked me to give him the ref# i informed him that i was not provided a ref # so he listened to the call recording and said that i did call to cancel but as the back-end team were not able to reach me it was not cancelled so i decided to speak to supervisor and after a long hold 45-50 min my call was transferred to supervisor named anil and as per anil it was my fault that i didn’t ask for the ref #, he clearly said that as i don’t have the ref # even though he has the record that i have asked to cancel the service he can’t do anything i still gave the option that as i asked to cancel the request on 16th so i can pay for 15 days but not beyond that he straight away denied and said that i have to pay the full amount, which forced me to cancel all the services with you guys. Moreover i asked anil that today as well sheel didn't provide me any ref# so he said that you have ask for that and you have to fight till the time an agent will not give you any reference number, if that is the resolution i will get from the supervisor its better that i should switch to different vendor.

    I will go with a different service provider but i never thought that i will be treated in such a way being customer of airtel from past 5-6 years this kind of services will not be expected.

    I will be posting such reviews everywhere and will inform everyone to switch their services from airtel as now airtel doesn’t care much about their customers.

    Below are my details about the service which i have with you guys, if you guys want you guys can call me after 3 pm anytime, but i will not be paying anything extra as it’s not my fault if your customer care executive are not doing their job so i will not be paying the bill if you guys will agree i can pay for 15 days but not beyond that.

    Today as well anil just provided me the service request # for cancellation but today also i haven’t receive any sms from you guys where as i was informed that i will receive sms as well and based on today’s incident it’s clear that again if i will call you guys will only say that it’s my fault as i haven’t receive the service request number.

    P. S — only call me if you guys can provide any resolution hence please do not call because i do not want to waste my time again.

      Following an offer (On recharge of rs.198.00 ul call + 2gb, 28d) i recharge
      Successfully on[protected] at 08.46pm rs. 198.00 transaction id [protected]. After recharge one sms has been sent from your side stating that benefit:- unlimited local std airtel calls + 500mb 2g/3g/4g data for 28days. Is it your way of cheating? If you are unable to run business honestly you may beg. Why you are cheating? I shall go to any extent for your dirty business.

        My no [protected] and they offer 4g service by sending frequent promotional sms. I recharged rs 244 which offers free airtel to airtel call and daily 1gb 4g data. But after recharge they don't even provide 2g service. I contacted customer care and they said 4g is unavailable in my area. My biggest concern if they don't have service then why they sending promotional sms to those customers and make them fool. I want my money back if you can't provide service in my area.

            1 the above line was disconnected by you though i have paid full amount under the pretext o[censored]p-gradation from 8 mbps to 40 mbps & 65gb data per month.
            & my efforts to contact your technical team &assurances by them yielded no result even after a week & i decided to terminate the your landline.
            2 when i demanded refund of installation fee & excess rental collected, i was told that line would be reactivated & asked for my concurrence thro' e mail, this was in the month of july 2017.
            # mr pranav from applet offered me 75% discount in the month of august for the delay in service & also inadvertent disconnection & told me i should pay rs 433/- p m on a plan of rs 999/- with a speed of 40 mbps & 65 gb data, but no reactivation was done & i kept on sending e mail, several executives of yours talked to me both from applet & installation division & whenever your executive from installation talked to me always addressed me as new applicant & never new my case history, i really wonder what is going on in your organisation, as a senior citizen i was subscriber to you manthra on line.com in 1997 while i was in service in gwalior & also initial ipo holder of your bharati air tel, i realy pity the state of affairs in your enterprise. Sofar no senior responsible officer spoke to me till date.

            About 3 weeks before one ms anjali called me & told me that rs 999/- plan is cancelled & instead i would be provided with a plan of rs1150/- with a spedd of 16mbps as they do nt hv cable for 40 mbps & 150gb data with a rental discount of rs50% & i have to pay rs688/- inclusive of 18% gst. & they told me to stay at home for the last 10 days as the person would be visiting anytime, no one visited
            Two days before a member of your installation department called me & told they can't provide me connection as there is no cable, i was surprised! There is already a cable drawn to my residence from the board. Tday another member from your team called me & identified from installation team & told me they can't connect me as there is no cable, i told him am not a new applicant & he never knew about it, i wonder what is happening in your establishment & why people are not aware of my plight!. Sofar more than 50 of your executives many of them are new recruits have talked to me & tortured me day in & out under false promise & made me to wait in home as technician would be visiting my residence.

            Please note you have to adequately compensate for the business loss i have suffered & damage to my reputation as a an educator world wide that too free online, i am senior citizen & retired gm of a leading organisation & also ex faculty member o[censored]niversity & i teach many subjects that are useful to mankind free on net & this was snatched by your irresponsible team who do not any coordination with contractual technicians & are not aware what router is provided to an applicant before disconnecting the line for up-gradation.

            Infact i see public is held at ransom & take for a ride under the pretext of service! & hardly basic facilities are lacking.

            I have addressed more than 20 emails in the span of 5 months since my connection was disconnected & your organisation is still sitting on excess rent collected & also installation fee & all my e mails are marked to you.
            Now, as a last resort of a scoundrel am approaching consumer grievance cell also trai & telecommuunication minstery for redress & am sure your organisation would be directed to compensate me for damages, mental agony! To the tune of lacs. I want to to know whether the organisation is able to bear this kind of penalty when there is cut throat competition in the sector!

              Sir i am chitra and use airtel postpaid connection. My handset damaged last 16 september 3.30 p. M. I complaint this issue last september. But airtel office ajmer was not respond and not help me in this matter. I give my aadhar card last two month ago. Then i submit my other document to airtel office. This problem i face and i try to airtel secure app to join my document. But my documents not join this site. So i complane u to solve the problem. My document are also submitted in airtel office. So please releif me this problem.

                The speed of the internet is too slow
                Iam using Redmi Note 4 with airtel 4g sim but still the speed is damn slow

                    I had reward points on www.StateBankRewards.com and utilised some points and paid the balance amount in cash through sbi net banking towards recharging of mobile on 21/09/2017. Surprisingly, the mobile is not recharged till date. To-day i have verified my account to see the details of past redemption. It is not shown either success or failure. It means i have lost the amount paid in cash and also valuable points. My second complaint is that when i am sending sms there is a deduction of rupees four from my balance in the mobile. The screen is showing sms cost rs. 1 but the balance is being reduced by rupees four. Why this is happening is not understood.

                        I requested for number porting from vodafone on 24th sep and till date it's not done.

                        One of your agent visited my home and collected my documents and rs 250/- which he told will be adjusted against 1st bill but till date my mobile not ported and he is also not picking my phone.

                        For your reference i m attaching the port request order details and message communication done till date.

                        It's already 2 weeks and really surprise with such a poor service from airtel so kindly refund my money as in such a competetive world i[censored] guys are not interested to even sell your products then i have big doubt on your service as players like jio port the mobile with in 1 day and without any payment.

                        It's really shame that even your call centre supervisor is not interested to talk to customers.

                          My number [protected] got a scheme from aitel to recharge with rs 399.00 and get 3 months calling and 1 gb data daily. When i recharged my phone by rs 399.00 and got a message that i have given only 28 days scheme. I contacted the customer care they told me that i will get the scheme for 3 months. Yesterday the scheme ended after 28 days. I again contacted on 3 oct to customer care they didn't agree and told the scheme is for 28 days only after insisting they connected me to some other person but he told me u will get compalint number by sms and i will get a call from airtel.
                          Neither i got a call nor the complaint number so that i can sue them in consumer court.
                          Pls help me in this regard.

                            Myself chetna pandya and my mobile no. Is [protected].
                            I have applied in airtel for potability from vodafone and it has been activated on 22.09.2017 at 00:05 a. M.
                            We have applied for rs. 399 plan and according to plan the data services we will have provided is of 21 gb. Mr. Kundan one of their executive was said that it will be activated on or before in four working days after activation.
                            As per above mentioned, the activation was on 22.09.2017 and till date we are not receiving any feedback from airtel for our data activation. The problem is, we are having only 1 gb data and not able to use the data services as per plan.
                            We have visited so many times at airtel shop but all are in vain.
                            The useless answer is received from ms. Monali - mobile no. [protected]
                            And mr. Kundan [protected].
                            Request you to help us.

                            Till date my Data services 21 GB is not activated.

                            Any Update on this? I am now in second month and my data services according to plan will be 42 GB.

                              I have plan of 399 for 4G free internet for 84/70 days with daily I GB usage and all outgoing call free.
                              since today 12.00 hrs, internet is not working

                                If submit complaint, after taking cug plan, saying no 4g registered. While porting they keep on promises. All shows interested till do porting from other network.
                                No care for customers and complaints. Says to call 121 to activate 4g.
                                What stupid people.
                                Should never take airtel connection in future. Waiting to complete 3 months with airtel, afterwards will port for good vodafone network.
                                Very worst management, very worst members, worst people who knows only to promise.
                                Hell with airtel connection. Simply grabing money from customers, says to activate 4g again have to pay amount.

                                should place a case against Airtel company for false promises and not providing the network.
                                Simply so many airtel members calls everyday to change plan and make more promises. Ultimately says pay extra and activate 4G connection.

                                  Sir/mam,
                                  This is regarding a scam which airtel india is running through airtel secure plan where they have tie up with oneassist insurance company. I was paying 79 rs monthly to secure my iphone 6s 64gb handset from any accidental/liquid damage. On 26th september, 2017 my phone had got liquid damage and i raised the claim but they say it has been rejected due to improper handling. What is improper handling? I did not deliberately put it in water. They are just mincing money and looting us. Please read all the reviews on internet about this plan and oneassist. Not a single claim done by them.

                                    I am writing this post in my utmost frustration. I am using postpaid plan of airtel and everytime i put a port out message i get a convincing call from airtel saying they will arrange a call from network team, since last 4month i am listening this lines. Finally day before yesterday i receive a call from your network team stating ma’am you will receive another call from our network team. I don’t understand why these guys send 10 days prior reminder to your customers for their bill payment, but they can’t provide a proper service to customer. Why should we pay airtel on time when we don’t get those service which we are offered. I still have 30gb of internet in my airtel account, because i am unable to use those data because of no internet. I keep complaining about i don’t get internet symbol in my phone that means my internet is not working which is again not taken serious. Though i use any other network that is working perfectly fine in my phone. Third class service from you airtel. Airtel is taking money of their customers without providing service which they have to offer. There is no point of marketing so much about your service when they can’t manage customers. The most pathetic service of all the network is airtel.

                                      I recharged my mobile ([protected]) with 399 on oct 4th 2017. But i got 349 package.
                                      What kind of fraud airtel is doing to it's customers. Who took my 50 rs.
                                      Apart from that if i am not eligible for 399 i should fail message.
                                      Airtel either give me 399 package of give back my 399 rs.

                                      Also i complained on this site (http://www.airtel.in/forme/home/needhelp/) two time since oct 4th but they don't even care to give me a reference id nor any customer executive gave call to me.

                                        Hi team,

                                        I have been charged for rs.5/- to send an international sms at[protected] on 14th august, however i have checked and can confirm that i have not sent any such sms.

                                        Bill dated - 5th aug till 4th sept

                                        I tried to get an idea by calling customer care but could not get a satisfactory reply.
